Will you turn to Jude, Jude 1 verse 24 and 25. That will be our church and we will soon rise to pray.
Now, to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and presents you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy. To him, to the only God, our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, with glory, majesty, dominion, authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
As we rise up to go, God who has enlisted you into this matter, this warfare, is also able to keep you from stumbling. And unto him who is not weak, who is not impotent, who never loses a battle. To him who watches over his world to bring it to pass.
To him who will never leave himself without a witness no matter what is happening in the world. To him in whose hands all things, all things whether in earth, underneath the earth, or even in the heavens, in his hands everything are held together. To him who is able to keep you from stumbling.
To him we commit you that as you go from here, the things that make men of old, men of God to stumble, that has made their ministry impotent, the Lord will keep you from it in the name of Jesus Christ. As you have agreed to stand for God, as you have agreed to obey his instructions to us in the course of this meeting, as we have resolved in our hearts that we will contend for the common salvation, the common faith that was handed over to the saints once and for all. That same God who is able to keep you and to present you blameless, everything that could contaminate our lives and ministry, the Lord will keep you from it in the name of Jesus Christ.
He is able to present you blameless. I was touched that Jude was concluding that yes, what will keep God's servants and God's messengers and the entire church of God, what will keep us blameless in the midst of all this conflicting issue, it is the hand of God. It is that same hand that has kept the church from going under.
And even though some people are sitting and having conspiracy and their confederacy, how they are going to overrun the church and extinct it, that same God will keep his work going in our midst. As we are going, as you pursue the will of God, you will overtake them. We will recover all.
We will come back in the coming days to say, look at what God has done. We are meeting here in October. 2019 is looking fearful.
And people are boasting, they have no work to do, they are going to do everything. But we have cried unto our God who never fails. Me and you, we will live to see the glory of God in Nigeria and in the nations in the name of Jesus Christ.
To him who is able to keep you from stumbling. To him who is able to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy. God is going to rejoice over us.
And we also, our joy in him shall be full in the name of Jesus Christ. Now as you go brothers and sisters, servants of the Lord, we commend you to him, to the only God, our savior. The one that became our father through Jesus Christ.
Who by the adoption, he has adopted us to be his sons and daughters. And who has made us join heirs with Jesus Christ. And has decided to lavish upon us everything that pertains to life and godliness.
To him who never fails, do we place our hand that through you and by the instrumentality of his word in our mouths, you will have the ultimate glory. May we rise up to glorify the Lord through your lives, through your ministry. To that same God, will all glory, all majesty, all dominion, all authority be ascribed.
Just as it has been in time past, and now in our present situation, in our current challenges, it will be glorified. We want to send you forth with the song of victory already. Even though today is the noise of battle, the next day shall be the song of victory.
God who set the gates of hell, shall not prevail against his church. That same God will not slip over your case, he will not slumber over our hearts, he will walk on our behalf. And what he will do, he will do it now, and forevermore he will keep doing it.
And that the church over the which God has made us overseers at this time, shall only blossom under our hand. The church will not shrink under our leadership. We will see the glory of the Lord in the land of the living.
Even areas where the church is being seriously attacked, the EYN churches, the Cochrane churches, the Equia churches of the north, the Lutheran churches, the UMCN churches, all the areas where we are facing serious difficulties, the Lord will arise on our behalf. Those that are dislodged from their land for the upward of 3-4 years as we have prayed, those lands shall be recovered. Populations that are being resettled here and there for manipulation or politics, the Lord Almighty will rebuke it and will restore to us what belongs to us.
So brothers, as you rise, we ask you to go. Go and take a stand. Go and contend for the faith.
Go and fight the good fight. Go and war a good warfare. He who is the Jehovah's sabbath, the mighty man in battle, who never loses his power, he shall go with you and perfect all that concerns you.
Will you please arise as we lift up our hands to God and say, Father, in your name we shall go. Forth in thy name, O Lord, we go. Our daily labor to pursue, you and you alone, shall we know, shall we please, in all we do, in all we say, in all we touch.
Can you make a final commitment and say, Lord, as I leave Boko, I go to shine. I go to burn for you. I go to take my stand to your glory.
Every issue that you have raised with me, all the prayers I have prayed, all the commitment I have made, you are able to keep me to it. So, Lord, I put my hand in your hand. As you go with me, I will see your glory in the land of the living.
Please call on God and say, Lord, my hand is in your hand. My hand is in your hand. All the issues you settled with me here, none of it will rise again.
And all that I have told you I will do by your grace, Lord, I am going to go and do it. You will show us your glory in the land of the living. Thank you, Father.
Thank you, O God. We love you. We worship you.
We praise your name this day. We just want to tell you that we are grateful to you. Thank you.
Thank you for bringing us to this, the end of this meeting in this manner. Take all the glory. Take all the honor.
Thank you. Thank you, Father. Thank you.
It was Samson's mother, the wife of that Manoah. After they encountered the visit of the angel the second time, Manoah opened his mouth and said, We have seen the Lord. It means we shall die.
But the wife said, No. If the Lord had wanted to kill us, he would not tell us this kind of thing. It means the Lord has a future for us.
I want you to lift up your voice. We will not die. You will live to see the glory of the Lord in the land of the living.
That which God has taken time to share with you, you will live to see it come to pass. God will grant you long life. He will grant you strong health.
He will grant you all the grace so that you will see the manifestation of the glory of the Lord in the land of the living. The ministry to which God has committed to your hand shall succeed. You will see it break forth.
You will see your denominations breaking forth in a new manner. Those of you that are heads of dioceses, your dioceses will come into power. They will come into a great manifestation of the glory of God.
Thank you, Father. Thank you for hearing our prayer tonight. Take all the glory.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen. Now, with your hands straight to God.
I shall not fail, for Jesus never fails. I put my hands, I put my hands in your hands, oh my God. I put my hands in your hands, oh my God.
I put my hands in your hands, oh my God. I shall not fail, for Jesus never fails. Let's make a final declaration.
I shall not fail, for Jesus never fails. And so, Father, our hand is in your hand. Thou, O Lord, who never fails.
In keeping, you will keep us. In watching, you will watch over your servants. In perfecting, you will perfect all that concerns them.
As they go from here, they will go from victory to victory. You will keep their going out and their coming in. The sun will not smite them by day, nor the moon by night.
Thou, O Lord, do neither sleep nor slumber. You will be awake over our case. You will preserve us from this time forward and forevermore.
When we pass through the valley, you will be there. When we climb mountains, it will be leveled before us. Everywhere we turn, as we call on your name, you will be present.
Because you are our very present help in time of trouble. And all the issues we have declared together as your servant, establish thou it. Establish the work of our hands.
All that we have spoken in your presence, hold it on our behalf. Perfect it, O God. All our resolution, we are trusting that your grace will be sufficient for us to be able to carry it out.
And that in this generation, in this nation, it will be on record that a people met with God and he committed himself to them. And we have seen a turnaround in the affairs of Nigeria. For those who came beyond our borders, who came all the way from Rwanda, we send them forth in the name of the Lord.
Go and be fruitful. Even though two of you came, go and multiply. The fire that you caught here, we burn it to become unquenchable in your nation.
In the name of Jesus Christ. The one that came all the way from Central America, from Belize, we send you forth again. Go and be fruitful.
Go and multiply. Go and be victorious. Go and see the glory of the Lord in your nation.
And all denominations that are present here, we bring the blessing of the Lord upon you. We cause the glory of God to surround you. And at the hand of the almighty God shall be strong upon you for good.
And whosoever meets you and whatsoever you touch shall be blessed. This we have asked in the name of God the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
