I want to start by appreciating the Almighty God for this great opportunity to be gathered together at his feet in this great meeting. I want to appreciate the leadership of Peace House and the staff and all the people assisting. Appreciate the ministers and all those that are seeking and laboring for his kingdom.

I want to appreciate all of you and welcome you to Boko, the headquarters of the chief nation worldwide and also to welcome you to the chief land, welcome you to Benue State. It's a great honor to be here and to receive all of you. It's a big honor to me to have the opportunity to welcome the entire world to Boko.

I've heard the introduction of the different groups and peoples and nations that are here. I don't want to begin to single out groups, countries and nations because of time. But I want to say that you are all welcome, you are all appreciated and it's my prayer that the good Lord that has brought you will visit you especially on this holy ground.

Indeed, this is a mount of transfiguration and as you come, give all your heart to the programs here and open your heart to receive from the Lord. The theme of this year's meeting is a greater task and we make you a light to the nations and it is up that the entire world is here. And as I was thinking of how to welcome you, I decided to find out the meaning of the word task.

It is something, it is a job, it is a duty, it is a function that is often imposed by a person in higher authority or an employer or it may come because of circumstances. Very often it may be hard, it may be unpleasant but it is often supposed to be done within a stipulated time. So a task is a job that must be achieved within a specified time.

And of course we know we all have specified times. We are not given to live forever and therefore we have a task to do. A greater task.

We have been carrying out tasks before but this year a greater task. For us to actually meet the program of God at this meeting and live here to be agents of transformation, agents of change we must look at the acronym T.A.S.K. Now T. In this meeting you must turn over your life to Jesus Christ. No matter in what form and status you came you must turn your life to Jesus Christ.

Turn over your life to Him. That life will be mortified. That life will be murdered.

That life will be transformed into a new person for His own glory and for His own purpose. You might have come in as a non-believer or a backslider or a faithful servant of God. In whatever way you came you must empty your life totally to Christ.

If you came in as a sinner receive Him as your personal Lord and Savior. If you came in as a backslider rising and falling you need to empty unto the Lord for you to be cleansed and made anew. To put on the newness of life.

So turn over your life to Christ. A. You must ask you must seek and you must knock. In Acts chapter 7 from verse 7 to 9 it says ask it says seek it says knock.

And as I look at those three words they are arranged in that order. Increasing magnitude. You ask you seek and you knock.

And when you get to the level of knocking whoever is inside you must hear you. So you must take time to be in the presence of the Lord. To pray to seek Him and to knock.

As you seek Him, as you pray, as you knock you will understand the treasure of salvation. That you can never exchange your salvation for anything in this world. And if you are not saved you must seek and be saved.

And you must ask and seek and knock to remove all the irrelevant things that are hindering you following Christ. You must ask, you must seek and knock to make sure that you sell everything you have you consecrate everything you have to be able to win Christ. Invest all you have in Christ.

And then in prayer you will deal with severity all the idols that are hindering you. You know the idols are the physical ones the seeing ones but there are idols that are unseen that are hindering your ministry and your work with Christ. You must deal with them to be able to be a light to the nations.

Ask search the scriptures as we are here, search the scriptures to understand your purpose. Seek to know Christ as you are here, seek to know Christ. Seek to know the task assigned to you as you study the life of Paul especially when you read Acts chapter 9 from verse 5 and 6 His first encounter with Christ the first question was Who art thou Lord? Paul wanted to know Christ.

You might be serving Him for many years but there is no end to knowing Him. In fact, Paul served the Lord for a long time but his prayer always was that I may know Him that I may know Him so seek to know Christ. The second question Paul asked was What wilt thou have me do? So when you know Christ there is a task to do there is a task to carry out and we know the important task glorify God wherever you are and be a light and bring others to the kingdom so as you are here seek to know the task the Lord has for you.

You may be a minister of the gospel What task has the Lord assigned to you? We know many ministers that have left the important task they are fighting amongst themselves they are fighting over leadership they have left the Lord, they are looking for powers elsewhere seek to know the task the Lord has assigned to you. K! Know His armor For you to be a light to the nations you must know the armor of the Lord the tools of the Lord what He has available for you to use in the task Of course if you read Ephesians 6 verse 10 to 18 they are all given there you need to know it you need to know about prayer you need to know about the world you need to know about the gifts He has given you need to know about faith and only by using the tools and armor He has given will you be a light to the nations if you leave His armor if you leave His tools and you start running after something else you cannot be a light you will end up in darkness if you leave Him and begin to seek for money if you leave Him and begin to seek for position if you leave Him and begin to seek for titles you will never really be able to achieve what the Lord wants you to do I have a loved brother here, brother Billy I have known him for a long time he hasn't changed to bishop or archbishop or pope the Lord is using him is the Lord not using him? it's not title it's knowing the task and the armor the Lord will help us in Jesus name in this meeting I am persuaded that the Lord is here the Lord is here with us and the heavens are open to hear and bless us open your mouth wide and the Lord will bless you this land, the Thieve land has been handed over to the Lord as a custodian of the land as a custodian of the tradition and culture of the Thieve people under my leadership as ordained by God the land has been handed over to Him and I know by the authority conferred on me by God as the paramount ruler of this nation I hinder and destroy any power that will hinder your blessing here the land is open for all the blessings and I come here in the name of the creator of heavens and earth who blessed me as the king of Thieve land to warmly welcome you the people of the land welcome you the land welcomes you feel belong here, feel free worship the Lord with all freedom I know that you will take something from here home you take the blessings here to your family you take the blessings here to your ministry you take the blessings here to your land you take the blessings here to your nation you take the blessings here to your continent you are welcome and remain blessed as you attend the ministers leadership retreat 2019 God bless you all
