Great God, I come before you now by the precious blood of thy dear son Jesus. It is my prayer that through this message you will speak to hearts and that your Holy Spirit will disturb folks. I prayed this in the strong name of Christ Jesus.

Amen. I issue a warning with this message, friends. It is not for the faint of heart.

You can turn away now from this message if you want to, but if you keep listening, it may be too much for some of you. You have been warned. I used to live in a haunted house.

My family moved in there when I was 14 years old. We realized something was wrong our first week in the house as strange happenings began to occur. My parents and I were in the living room one evening when we heard heavy footsteps upstairs.

It sounded like someone was slowly walking up and down the hallway above us. The sound of the footsteps were deliberate, heavy. We all looked at each other in alarm and my father tried to laugh it off by saying, spooks, but we soon discovered it was no laughing matter.

The next night we heard the footsteps once again and I rushed upstairs to seeing if an intruder was in the house, but there was no one there, at least no one I could see with my eyes. We could only hear the dreadful plop, plop, plop of those haunting footsteps made by an unseen entity, but unfortunately that wasn't the worst of it. There was a door beneath the stairwell that would suddenly erupt into the most violent pounding.

It would stop you in your tracks and the blood would drain out of your face. When you heard that pounding begin on that door, all of a sudden there'd be a pounding, pounding, pounding. One hot summer day when it was over 100 degrees outside, I was in the house alone and the pounding began on that stairwell door.

When it ceased, I rushed over to the door and quickly opened it and a breeze of cold air came out upon me that was chilling to my bones and I quickly shut that door, never to open it again. The house was crawling with demonic activity. Something terrible must have happened in that house.

I sure was glad when my family finally moved away. The Bible speaks of demons. Jesus exercised them out of people all the time.

In Luke 8, 2 we read, and certain women which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities. Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils. In my own lifetime I have encountered demon-possessed individuals.

Three come to my mind now. I was in the French Quarter in New Orleans late one evening when a street woman approached me and she was crawling with demonic activity and speaking in about ten different tongues. Next I was having lunch in a restaurant in a city in the South with my church group and we were seated at a long table and we had just begun to say grace to pray before the meal and as soon as we mentioned out loud the name Jesus Christ, a man sitting behind us fell off his chair and began to writh and wiggle on the ground and moan.

And once I looked into the face of a young woman and her eyes disappeared completely and another entity looked through her eyes at me. It was a demon staring at me. Now, you can believe these things, friends, or not, but they're true.

Demon possession is still a reality today. Why do you think someone goes out and commits a horrible crime? Oh, out of the blue, just commits a violent murder at random. Demons, brother.

And in hell, there are demons there. Hell is crawling with demons. A person in hell is continually haunted by demons.

In that nether region of outer darkness, they are constantly your companions. In second Peter we read, for if God spared not the angels that sinned but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness to be reserved unto judgment, hell is populated with the worst segments of society, sociopaths and psychopaths and serial killers and sex perverts and child molesters and murderers. The wicked Roman emperors like Nero and Caligula are there.

Hitler is there. Jack the Ripper is there. The debased souls of every civilization are crawling over each other's backs in hell like vipers crawling over each other in a pit.

Hell is a bottomless pit full of millions and millions of the damned. Their cries and shrieks drown out the sobs of every new arrival. Hell is a very populated place.

It is a prison of torment and miseries. Luke 16.23 says so. And in hell, he lift up his eyes, being in torments.

In hell, flames and smoke will choke and suffocate you continually. Demons will tear and abuse you and nobody can stop them from having their way with you. You are their victim in hell.

The lash of God's fiery indignation for sin burns against you and the smoke of hell goes up like a furnace. In Revelation it states, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation, and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstones. Listen, friends, the smoke of hell goes up like a furnace as there is no rest for the soul shut up in there.

In the smoke of their torment, they're sanded up for ever and ever and they have no rest day or night. Hell is a place of punishment for sin, full of the wicked dead. To be haunted in hell is one's worst nightmare come true.

I beg you, friend, don't go there. You have been warned. Repent before it's too late.

Come to a blood-stained Savior from sin, the Lord Jesus Christ. He was crucified at Calvary. He suffered, died, was buried, and he rose again, and he sits at the right hand of the Father.

Come to repentance, confessing you are a sinner and own him as your Savior and Lord. Surrender all you are to all he is, and he is Lord. Listen, and the Spirit and the bride say, come, and let him that heareth say, come, and let him that is a thirst come, and whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
