We Have A Savior!

God lives and works today. What joy these words should bring to our hearts. Christmas shows us the proof of God's love in the fact that he sent his only son, Jesus Christ, to be our Savior.

The child in the manger is proof that none of us need ever despair again. Each one of us can experience the joyful reality of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in all the problems and troubles of our lives. Listen to the following program by Basilea Schlink called, We Have a Savior.

Unto you is born a Savior. This message of Christmas draws us to the manger this year more powerfully than ever. Joy has broken out.

We have a Savior who has proved to the whole world that he can really heal. So let us fall down and worship this child, Jesus, the Savior child. Let us give Jesus our thanks, for he has saved many thousands of young people who were tightly bound.

Shouldn't we love this child? Shouldn't we come to his manger and say, We worship you for saving the hopelessly lost from their sins of sex and drugs. You will just as surely free me from my anguish of sin and my bondages so that I can tell people how great you are and what wonders of grace you have performed in me. You, O little child, are almighty, a Savior and Redeemer.

A child of wonder, shining in splendor, out of the heavenly glory bright, lies in the manger, braving all danger, giving us joy as we see his light. Let us kneel down at the manger and say to Jesus, Here I am, Jesus. I have come to you.

Please heal me from the sinful diseases which fill me with guilt and which make life difficult for people around me, my hatred, my bitterness, anger, quarreling, irreconciliation, lying or giving in to my evil desires. I believe that you will heal me from all my sinful diseases. And if we have already experienced the saving power of this child, this Christmas let us bring him our thanks and say, I thank you for healing me.

I want to tell others what you've done for me so that many more may come to believe in you and be healed also. I would like to bring you to others, O Savior child. I would like to be your messenger and tell everyone that you can heal us and save us from sin and that you truly lie in the manger as a Savior.

So show me the way. Take my money, my house, my work, my prayers. Take everything that I am and have so that many might be saved and healed in these dark, foreboding times.
