Jesus’ Offer to You

God lives and works today. He is the Savior who really longs to help His children. In fact, He makes us an offer which can bring us help in any situation.

Listen to the following message by Basilea Schlink called Jesus' Offer to You. We know from everyday life that an offer doesn't help us unless we make use of it. If I'm in severe financial straits and learn that money has been deposited in my account, my troubles won't be solved until I go to the bank and withdraw the money.

Jesus Christ is now making us a tremendous offer. Through His death and resurrection, He accomplished a mighty victory over all things, and now He is offering us His powerful intervention for every situation, for every sin and problem, for every battle, so that our circumstances can be completely transformed. But if we do not come to Jesus and accept His gift, namely His offer of aid, it will not help us.

If we wish to take up Jesus' offer, the first step is to give Him our time. There is no other way. A person can devote hours to what television and literature offer, although it is earthly transient and often even contains filth.

But how much time do we devote to being with Jesus in order to take up His offer? To claim Jesus' victory and aid is to fight a battle of faith in prayer against our bonds and sins, ever anew laying hold of His victory, which He won for us through His sacrifice. There is power in praying such prayers and declaring the victory of Jesus. Therefore come to Him, the Living Lord, and expect all things from Him.

Then your life will be filled with joy and victory. Take up Jesus' offer when you are in despair about your bonds and sins, when your spiritual life is stagnant. No one can blot out sin other than the crucified Lord.

Jesus, the triumphant Lamb, is victor over sin and Satan. Believe in His victory, the power of His wounds, and you will be set free from sin and every bondage to the enemy. Accept this offer of Jesus and say to Him, Jesus, my Savior, You came to save me from the cancer of sin, my indifference, rebelliousness, and sinful desires of the flesh.

I believe in the saving power of Your blood, which is stronger than my sin-infested blood. Your blood has releasing power. It brings me salvation and victory over my sins.

Satan, with all his temptations, is driven away by the power of Your blood. O Jesus, my Savior, You lived and died and rose again as the triumphant Lamb to establish Your victory over sin and Satan in my life too. Hallelujah!
