Oh, that's a good word Beloved listen God is speaking this to us to you He's speaking this to you This is the solution to all I did not say some I said all of your struggles This is the solution to all of your struggles right now Now be prepared Because this will give you Intelligent understanding regarding what the Holy Spirit in your inner man is stirring you to do Amos chapter 3 beginning in verse number one Hear this word that the Lord hath spoken against you Oh children of Israel against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt saying You only have I known of all the families of the earth Therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities Now listen verse 3 is what the Holy Spirit is saying to us this morning Listen closely Can to walk together except they be agreed And to walk together except they be agreed The Holy Spirit is Groaning within our hearts The Holy Spirit is groaning within you if you're a child of God If you're not the Holy Spirit is drawing you But If you are a child of God this morning listen closely to what the Holy Spirit is doing The Holy Spirit is groaning within you and within me because he recognizes that verse 3 of Amos chapter 3 is the absolute only Answer to our struggles. It is the only Way that we can be brought into victory in Christ Jesus that we can please the Lord Shall I read it again? Oh, these words are so precious Can to walk together except they be agreed It is the will of God this morning For you to recognize That you cannot walk together with God Except you be in agreement with the Holy Spirit and You listen now you cannot be in agreement with the Holy Spirit Until God has brought you to a crisis Where you offer your body? your soul and your spirit to him and Say Holy Spirit, I Realized that Jesus Christ has bought me with the price Now you keep your finger in Amos and you go to you go to 1st Corinthians 1st Corinthians chapter 6 1st Corinthians chapter 6 verse number 19 Can to walk together the Holy Spirit right now right now Is groaning within you child of God Groaning within you He has been long-suffering he has been patient and even now some of you Hearing this that I'm saying right now you feel in your heart God is giving you a heavenly witness that you've never felt before Now listen to this 1st Corinthians chapter 6 What Isn't that good what Paul say what? It's like he's saying could it be possible that you don't understand what I'm about to say Paul saying what? No, you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost Which is in you What you have of God? and You are not your own Now wait a minute Does the Word of God tell us right here that we are not our own Whose body is this It has been purchased by the Lord Jesus Christ The Holy Spirit listen the Holy Spirit is looking for a temple this morning To express his will and his way in Have you given him your temple? How can two walk together except they agree How can you be the temple of the Holy Spirit Pleasing the Holy Spirit not grieving him not quenching him except you offer to him your body How can you walk with God and reserve your body for yourself What know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit Which is in you which you have of God and you are not your own For you have bought with a price Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit Which are God's Now When was the last time dear beloved you looked at yourself in the mirror and said don't you forget it You belong to God not yourself When was the last time you reminded yourself now you just settled down and Don't get so impetuous Remember whose property you are Is that scriptural You better believe it is turn to chapter 9 1st Corinthians 1st Corinthians chapter 9 beginning with verse number 24 Now remember what we're doing beloved we're doing we are interpreting this morning what the Beautiful heavenly dove is doing in our hearts and in our mitts There must be interpretation there must be Intelligent understanding regarding the Holy Spirit so we must allow the Holy Spirit to move there's two extremes you allow the Holy Spirit to move and That's all you do and then the minds because stay unfruitful And that's when deceiving spirits begin to get in but then the other extreme is it's all letter all Doctrine all word and no spirit at all and we're choked We have no life flowing from Christ So we must keep this balance Even when God moves to where we can't minister that's not going to last forever God will move to where we won't be able to minister, but there will come a time when God will impart understanding to the flock Now listen to this remember what I just said when was the last time you went in front of the mirror and said now listen You belong to God don't forget it He's your master That was the last time you went before me said Lord take my body take my will have your way Okay now listen to this verse 24 1st Corinthians chapter 9 I Don't mean to be jumping, but listen listen real quickly You're a Christian this morning you love the Lord you know that your sins are forgiven But there's dissatisfaction confusion anxiety and You know there's there's not an ultimate fulfillment in your life, okay listen closely there never will be You will continue until Jesus comes or you meet the grave in that state I promise you unless Unless the Holy Spirit brings you to a crisis Where in your heart in humility you give him your body You give him your will and you say Lord Become the boss Become the master Be my Lord be the Lord of everything God will not leave you God will not forsake you God will bless you and meet your needs But you will never know the Father heart of God This is the way of the cross It's available to all believers, but unfortunately Some choose The way of self now listen closely Paul chose the way of the cross and he reminded himself Regularly listen to how Paul did it no you not that they which run in a race Run all but one receive it the prize so one that you may obtain now listen beloved salvation's a gift You don't earn salvation Right here salvation And here's the prize salvation is realized when we come to the cross. It's grace It's grace it's a gift but now that you have been saved by the grace of God Paul said you better start running in God and Have a goal to obtain the prize now the prize Is to know him To be found in him Listen the prize Paul had his eye on the prize can never be realized the prize can't even really be sought once you're a Christian until Somewhere here somewhere here God brings you to the place where your body Is Given to the Holy Spirit And he becomes the Lord of Everything now listen to this No, you not that they which run in a race run all but one receives the prize so one that you may obtain and Every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things now They do it to obtain a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible now. Here's what Paul says I Therefore so run not as uncertainly So fight I not as one that beateth the air But I keep under my body and bring it into subjection Lest that by any means when I have preached to others I myself Should be a castaway or disqualified For the prize now Paul's not talking about losing his salvation But he's talking about that beautiful prize of now Fellowship being with God in an intimate Splendid marvelous way through yielding the body the soul and the spirit To the heavenly done Now Remember Amos chapter 3 Can to walk together Except they be Agreed The groaning of the Holy Spirit this morning God Wants you to be an agreement with him But this agreement doesn't come through some mystical osmosis Where all of a sudden you wake up, and there it is no the agreement that God is looking for comes when the Holy Spirit Gains entrance into your life More than just the Savior of your soul Because many folks have the Holy Spirit in their life, and they acknowledge Christ as their Savior, but they have never Offered themselves to God So The agreement that God is looking for is an agreement that starts when we recognize We are not our own We've been bought with a price the Holy Spirit wants to take our bodies as his temple And he wants to be crowned as Lord and King of everything that we do and everything that we say It's a gift And it's the only way to true communion and peace with God Now This Is what the Holy Spirit is groaning over Now in Romans chapter 8 You may turn to it if you like just in case you're not acquainted with the Word of God Romans chapter 8 Beginning in verse number 12 I Just got done describing to the believers that now the Holy Spirit lives in them because they have been saved by the blood But now that the Holy Spirit lives in them Paul said that's not the end That's only the beginning listen to what Paul says now see this is the same thing the Holy Spirit is speaking to us this morning Therefore brethren we are debtors not to the flesh to live after the flesh Now to be a debtor to the flesh and live after the flesh is to first of all To have the Holy Spirit in you, but never submit to him Now listen Therefore brethren we are debtors not to live to the flesh To live after the flesh for if you live after the flesh you shall die But if through the spirit do mortify the deeds of the body you shall live For as many as are led by the Spirit of God. They are the sons of God For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry Abba Father the Spirit Himself bear witness with our spirit that we are the children of God and if children then heirs of God and join heirs with Christ if We suffer with him that we may also Be glorified together with him Now I'd like for you to turn down to verse number 26 Now listen to this Likewise the spirit also helpeth our infirmities for we know not what we should pray For as we ought but the spirit himself Makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered now. That's what we experienced this morning groanings that cannot be uttered Now what is the Holy Spirit doing when he groans in us, and we feel that that deep deep inner call Deep calleth unto deep the scripture says we feel this call by God our inner Spirits are crying out to God we feel this but not all the time is our mind fruitful Here's what he's doing Verse 27 and he that searcheth the hearts knoweth. What is the mind of the spirit? Because he maketh intercession for the Saints listen to this according to the will of God So here the Holy Spirit is groaning within us praying The will of God be done in our life Isn't that incredible So what was the will of God the Holy Spirit was praying for us this morning Oh That we Would walk together With God and be in agreement with him through the glorious gift of yielding our members to him How Can two walk together Except They be agreed Father We thank you and praise you For your redemption that we have in Jesus Christ And now Lord we step aside We Thank you for the utterance that you have given us this morning to communicate intelligently the will of God But now once again, we step aside Holy Spirit Continue to groan now that the Saints understanding is fruitful May you gain a greater victory in our lives And May you help us to be able to yield to you now even more fully Knowing now that the groaning within Is your desire for us? To be like children and say Lord, I'm sorry My body has been my own My life has been my own My will has been my own I've sort of I've sort of made you a Sunday morning God and Then during the rest of the week. I've done my own thing But I thank you for your love Holy Spirit. I Thank you that you have a much greater plan for my life than to make you a Sunday morning God. I Recognize Holy Spirit you are calling me To make you the Lord of my life every day Now Holy Spirit, I know only you can do this but you won't come against my will You won't barge in it's not your character to barge into my life Because if it was you would have done it long time ago Now the truth God would barge into many people's lives, but he doesn't work that way God pours out his love and then stands back and waits for us to say yes, Lord He provides the power to say it Because then he can for all eternity say look They love me Now maybe some of you haven't even experienced the groaning You hear what's going on, but you say I've never experienced the groaning of the Holy Spirit Well, you can experience that too. Just ask the Lord Now it's only 10 after 12 and I feel in my spirit That the Holy Spirit is pleased But not done Aren't you glad God can be pleased but not finished He's pleased but he's not finished Now you remember what I said I feel let us God to speak this way this morning You're a Christian You have seen God's faithfulness in your life. He has provided your needs But you know in your heart There's a deep dissatisfaction You have felt the groaning you've looked to books you've hunted down other preachers You've traveled great distances you've listened to tapes And nothing happens Beloved I Humbly say to you this morning That if God gives you ears to hear this can be the end Of your journey for you need not go any further than to the person of the Holy Spirit He alone can bring that peace in your life I'm gonna ask sister Beach to come if she would And we're gonna wait on the Lord And I'm gonna ask the Holy Spirit now to move in our midst and Begin that groaning and all I say to you dearly beloved is Whatsoever he saith unto you do it Do it It can be quietly in your seat God might be asking you to get up Maybe he wants to deal with pride in your life You might be saying I'll do this nice and quietly and God says no you won't you'll go up front Well, maybe he is saying you can do it quietly in your seat, I don't know I'm not God Whatever he says Do it the Word of God is witnessing the Holy Ghost is witnessing and many hearts are saying yes So if God before us who can be against us God wants your body He wants your mind.
