Welcome to the Lord's Challenge, our weekly quarter-hour broadcast, bringing the reality of God's Word to all people everywhere. Stay tuned as Joshua Daniel challenges us to a walk with God and the corresponding impact that will have on our lives, families, and society today. The sower soweth the word. Now here comes Satan immediately. We've said they did not understand the word, but when they heard, Satan cometh immediately and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. Satan's activity. You know, folks, how quickly the Word of God seems to evaporate. If A plus B whole squared had evaporated like that, what would have happened? Or some chemical formula, or a part of the book, you know, which you studied in pharmacy. Part of it escaped you. It just evaporated. Now tell me, can you live like that? And when the Word of God is taken away, there have been great teachers of God's Word. And one of those great teachers whom I heard was Dr. Martin Lloyd-Jones, who was a medical specialist. And of course, as a friend of Dr. Martin Lloyd-Jones said to me, oh, when you talk to Dr. Jones, you have to be careful because he knows the scriptures that come before and come after the verse that you quote. Anyway, a lady, a leader's wife, I had to pray for that family and for the daughter of that family, said to me, you know, we hear a wonderful exposition of God's Word, and when we come out, it's lost in the porch. All kinds of trivial, nonsensical talk. That's what happens, gossip. The church becomes a gossip gallery. What nonsense. Do you talk about this and that? And if it is the Word of God has registered, you will come out of the church saying, what a wonderful Savior. You know, it's wrong to be going out saying, what a wonderful preacher, because that shows that the preacher didn't know his business. The preacher should have been pointing all the time at Jesus. So, when you walk out, you should be able to say, what a wonderful Savior. Instead of that, oh, you say, as a man said to me, we were fighting all the way after the church, my wife and I, and then when we got home, we continued the fight. So, that's what you got, did you? The devil has his way of carrying away the seed, and then the ignorance that there is today in the matter of casting out of evil spirits. What? Stonehenge, Salisbury Plain, being used by magicians and all and sundry, gathering there in great strength, Halloween time and so on. What nonsense. You know, one friend of mine, a great preacher, he said to me, here was a healing meeting, much advertised, and a healer from, oh, you know, you dare not call anybody a healer. It's God who heals. This man and another, a few praying people, decided that they would go to the and pray. Just pray, Lord, if this is of you, prosper it. If this is not of you, stop it. So, they were praying, you see, quietly, and the preacher said, today I find that I can't do anything. I am unable, celebrated person. And what did these people pray? They only prayed, Lord, if this is of you, prosper it. If this is not of you, stop it. You know, the devil appears as an angel of light, and that is happening today. And some of the cases, I am alarmed. They come to me and say, you know, we went to the healing meeting, and there we were gripped by a and from that time, we can't sleep. I say, what? Come, we shall ask the Lord to remove this darkness from you. It is sad, no discerning spirit. You see, the preachers of today have very little time, my friends. And some of them, as one pastor said to me, you know, Mr. Daniel, we do not schedule meetings which go over the weekend. I said, what? But suppose a church needs it. I will preach till there is a breakthrough. That's what I meant to do. So, if it takes an extra Monday or an extra Tuesday, fine. That's what I need to do. Well, he said, you know, Mr. Daniel, no preacher around here will do that, because that means he will have to go into his scheduling of other meetings for that week, and financial loss, financial loss. What? And so, certain preachers are kept very busy. What? Busy with what? Is it with the word of God? Is it with the Lord? Or is it with considering and calculating how the bills will be paid? No, I have made it very clear to my Lord, with all the mounting bills, you know, from Australia to Malaysia and Indonesia, and Burma, India, and other regions of the world, including Europe, and the British Isles, and America and South America. You know, television work, I was never cut out for it. And I hated the television because of the way it brought so much discard and immorality into societies. I was an enemy of television. So, when someone came up and wrote to me, hey, we want this message to reach people. This man had just in passing heard me preach. He was going through Canberra, Australia. And he wrote to me, and eventually came and took a lot of time to try and persuade me. Anyway, the mounting bills, huge bills every month, and we certainly will not default on any bills. Who pays? The Lord pays. I never ask anybody for a penny. Never. He is Jehovah-Jireh. I can't change his name. You can't change his name. Maybe you're trying. Jehovah-Jireh. God will provide. That's it. So, my dear friends, the possibility that some of us preachers become stale, repetitive, powerless, is entirely because we do not go to the place of resupply the Savior. I simply can't operate. I am not so strong. I am only 83 years young. Okay. And I always tell people, you pray for me and I'll get younger. Where is the source of our strength? Our source of strength is the Lord. So, when we are sowing the word, the devil wants to take away the word. In one area, certain spirits were being worshipped, and we knew nothing about it. It was a place of intense bloodshed between tribes. And I said, this is the place where we must preach and work. So, I set my heart on building a center there for the preaching of God's word, where murder, murder, murder, and tribal fighting was just uncontrollable. Neither the army nor the police could do anything. Well, and here I did not know that some spirits were being worshipped. All right, we got to preaching there. And what happened? The spirits fled. And the worshippers saw what has happened here. Those spirits that we worship are no longer here. And so, they abandoned that worship. So, actually, when you and I go in the name of Jesus, these evil spirits must run away. See, in the world, we had the Lord Jesus said in John 10 and verse 10, The thief cometh not but for to steal, to kill, and to destroy. But I have come that they might have life and life abundant. Let us pray. Loving Father, take us, take me. This love for the lower leagues, the love for the light leagues, may give place to a desire to fight for Jesus, to lift up the name of Jesus. Oh, open the eyes, fast closed. Open the eyes. Hear our prayer. In Jesus name. Amen. The speaker on this program was Joshua Daniel.
