The Word of God declares in Psalm 127, verse 1, Except the Lord build a house, they labor in vain that build it. When one plunges into the endless sea of books and writings concerning the movements of human history, he finds a difficult task on hand. Tracing the origin of the international communist conspiracy back through the faded pages of history past is indeed a serious and a tremendous task. This lecture does not claim to be an exhaustive explanation of this subject. It is only a general outline that you, our listeners, may acquire information pertaining to your enemy. Hosea chapter 4, verse 6, God says, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. They did not know. We of Christian mission to the communist world feel that the greatest friend of communism and our greatest enemy is our own personal ignorance. We do not know. And the problem is most of us simply do not care. We think that ignorance is bliss even from the opinion of God. But God's word echoes before us, My people are destroyed because they did not know. Now let us step back into the pages of history past and see how through the course of human events the devil and demon powers have worked faithfully with and through various men, women and organizations to finally bring to birth the most serious and the most awful organization that humanity has ever faced. Bolshevik communism. Shall we take this by a series of steps? First, let's drop back almost 2,000 years ago back to the year 400 B.C. And in this time we find the earliest historical mention of thought or of teaching that 2,000 years later developed into actual communist party doctrine. Is it surprising that this philosophy has been in existence for over 2,000 years? One of the earliest writers in past history to suggest some of the rotten teachings of communism was the Hedon Greek philosopher named Plato. He lived approximately 400 years before the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. In the English translation of his unusual writing called Republics he speaks about such things as, and I'm quoting from the books the state ownership of all property the common ownership of all women Marx says the same thing in the Manifesto the state ownership of all children the destruction of the institution of the home and so forth. These things, each of them later became actual party doctrine. This is the first mention of communist thought in ancient history past. Step number two. This takes us up to about the year 36 A.D. In reality this is not communist doctrine but in moving about the country and the world and speaking to people of all types and classes we find that here is a point where there is so much serious and sincere but wrong understanding that we feel it necessary to mention this in order that God's people especially might not be deceived pertaining to the question as to whether or not the early church practiced communism. Contrary to common thought the early New Testament Christians did not practice communism of any form. Most of us who are Christians and who are lovers of God's precious word are very familiar with Acts chapter 4 verse 34 and 37 and then in Acts chapter 5 where the believers, the word of God says had all things in common. Some of them sold their various possessions and brought the price of them and laid them at the seat of the apostles. Communist agents serving the conspiracy within the realm and area of the church and religion and I've heard them do this in Australia have taken these verses and have preached behind the pulpit or written through certain denominational publications or mission publications, something like this. Now look, communism cannot be so bad for at least you'll have to admit the early Christians had a go at it. They had a practical experiment with it at least to see if it would work. Upon examination to whether or not this is true we find several things that reveal that it was impossible for this group of early Christians to have been communist or to have been making any communist or socialist experiment whatsoever. Number one, they were all believers in God they had been saved by the grace of Jesus Christ and they were followers of God's word which was the Old Testament at this time. This very fact alone rules out any possibility of this being a communist experiment for dedicated communists believe none of these things. A second point is this this experiment proved very difficult and brought trouble into the church for in the fifth chapter of Acts a husband and a wife were actually killed during the course of this experiment and Peter tells them very clearly when Anna and I stood before him in Acts 4 before you sold the property it was yours and after you sold it the money was yours and by Peter's own statement this could not have been a communist experiment. The property was his before he sold it and the money was his after he sold it. No communism here. And then the third point and quickly we must hurry we see that this experiment in years to come brought serious trouble to the believers of the church in Jerusalem and Judea. In fact the Apostle Paul tramped across portions of Europe and Asia Minor and in Romans 15 verse 25-27 and 1 Corinthians 16 1-3 he actually collected offerings and physical gifts for the suffering poor saints in Judea. We thought it good to make that the second step in tracing communism through history so that our listeners would understand that even though the early church did have some type of collective experiment there was nothing communistic, socialistic about it and this experiment fell to their detriment in years later. The third step in tracing communist thought and doctrine through history takes us over a broad period of about 100 A.D. up to the year 1200 approximately. During this long period of time various monastic groups rose up. Famous hermits such as Anthony of Thebes, Egypt in the year 250 who lived in a cave from the age of 20 through the age of 86 attracted much attention. These hermits banded together offered and established their own little communes their little collectivizations. Benedict of the year 529 A.D. founded a monastery south of Rome and this idea inspired certain monastic groups such as the Franciscan and the Dominican orders to rise up on the stage of so-called church history. The communists often point to this and say look, there we see still the Christians having an experiment with communism with socialism, with collectivization. Surely it cannot be as bad as you anti-communists say that it is. An investigation into each of these orders reveals the absolute misery, the suffering and even a lack of biblical faith contained in most of them. The fourth step in tracing communism through history takes us to the year 1185 in the country of France. On this date there arose a strange, mysterious group called the Brotherhood of Peace. They were a fierce, violent, vicious, pacifistic group. They shouted and preached and published statements demanding the state ownership of all properties especially lands. They had nothing but hatred for all churches, all religions to their fault. They even tried to destroy certain religious organizations. It was a godless group and one of their outstanding features was they dabbled in black magic, the occult and the worship of Satan. Step number five. This takes us to the 1700s. On the stage of history in France there appeared a very outstanding man. A French infidel by the name of J.J. Rousseau. Rousseau was one of the immortal wretches of his day. Rousseau wrote many books and pamphlets. He organized about him a strong but small dedicated band of followers and disciples. He projected his god-hating doctrine into their minds. His books and pamphlets call for the destruction of all laws the state ownership of all property he cursed humanity. Rousseau said every religion and church should be destroyed. His book The Origin of Inequality written in 1754 carries very clear communist thoughts. Rousseau himself has the honor of being involved in the worship of the devil. What an honor for a man to have written on his record in history. What an infamous shame in rejecting the god of heaven they turned to the worship of Satan. The sixth step in tracing communism through history is a serious and enlarged step. And here we must pause and spend just a bit of time as we have not been able to spend in the preceding five. A man was born in the southern province of Germany called Bavaria. In the year 1748 his name was Adam Weishaupt. Weishaupt in his early days renounced all religions. He began to write many books and pamphlets. He accepted the position as a professor of canon law at the University of Ingolstadt, the capital of Bavaria, the province of southern Germany or Prussia at that time. He has the reputation of being involved in the occult and in various operations of witchcraft and devil worship. He was a lover and literally devoured the teachings left by his former colleague J.J. Rousseau. As Rousseau suggested on paper and by tongue the overthrow of all law and order and the establishment of a socialist communist type society Adam Weishaupt went a bit further. He took these suggestions and put them into physical motivation. On the year 1776 the date May the 1st is a strange and outstanding date in history. Adam Weishaupt at this date over in Europe founded a secret organization named the Illuminati. It's interesting that on this same date over in America the American Republic was born the precise same date in history. Weishaupt named his secret conspiratorial organization Illuminati. He takes credit for originating the name but here again we see another liar in history. Originally the name Illuminati was given by the church fathers to those who submitted to so-called Christian baptism. These were spoken of as the Illuminati for a wax candle, burning was handed to them upon baptism supposedly signifying their Illuminati or enlightenment. Organization wise Weishaupt did not originate the Illuminati. Historically speaking it can be traced back to the mountains of Afghanistan. Here an ancient organization was founded bearing this title. It was a complex order buried deep in superstition and was led by a man named Bayezid Ansar, an Afghan whose family claimed direct contact back to Mohammed. The headquarters of this Afghanistan styled Illuminati was located in a large castle deep in the mountains. They claimed to have special insight into the mysteries of the Islamic religion. Then this Illuminati idea later spread to Spain where a group appeared called the Alhambrado. They were outlawed in 1623. This same ideal of Illuminati later appeared in France in about 1623 by a group called the Gurrenetz. Hence we see that Weishaupt did not originate the name nor the organization of the Illuminati. He, like others in history simply stole and borrowed the name from past individuals and experiences. However, on May 1st, 1776 Weishaupt organized in Ingolstadt his Illuminati gangster organization. From the doctrine of this organization, future communism gathered many of its basic principles and philosophy. Weishaupt drew up sort of a manifesto that each member of his Illuminati organization were to follow. Let me read you some of the quotations from an English translation of this actual manifesto. Number 1. All members of Illuminati were to use another name and create a spy network. Number 2. Strictest secrecy was imposed. Number 3. They used the name of Christ and the Church and the Bible when it was advantageous to their subversive purposes. Does that sound familiar? Number 4. Protestant ministers were encouraged and deceived into joining the Illuminati organization. Their good name names were used to give necessary enhancement and prestige to the suspicious body. Number 5. Its aim, the destruction of all governments and religions on earth. Number 6. They advocated in special meetings all sensual pleasures and even prostitutes were taken into the organization. Number 7. Patriotism was cursed and renounced. Number 8. Destruction of the institution of marriage. Number 9. The home was to be abolished and all children placed in the state orphanages. Number 10. The abolition or destruction of the private ownership of property. And number 11. They called for establishing the universal dictatorship of all the earth from a one party headquarters. Those of you who have just heard this and who are informed about communism will find many of these ancient Illuminatistic principles very familiar. In fact, you'll find them being preached and advocated and put into operation in every communist party on earth today. Incidentally, the slogan, the watchword, the war cry of Vysots Illuminati was this. Liberty, equality, brotherhood. These facts are taken from the ancient book Conspiracy of World Revolution by John Robinson printed in the year 1793. A copy can be found in the larger and best libraries. Vysots then, upon founding the Illuminati, immediately went into and united himself with the Masonic Lodge in Munich, Germany. This lodge was called the Lodge Theodore of Good Council. This occurred the year following the establishment of the Illuminati the year 1777. Through the Masonic Lodges being used as a front organization. The doctrine, or some of the doctrines, those catch doctrines of Illuminati were spread in time across Europe. In fact, the danger of Illuminati even entered into the new founded United States of America. Far on the date October 24, 1798, the first president of the United States, George Washington, warned the American people to beware, quote, of the diabolical plots of the Illuminati. End of quote. Vysots, hard at work with his special trained agents began to recruit into their organizations, especially lawyers, professors, even government officials. People of prominent and outstanding position and power were the ones who became the targets for conscription into Illuminati. But as history would have it, a dark cloud came to Vysots' conspiratorial underground apparatus, working for the destruction of everything civilized and good. In the year 1786, the home of an Illuminati lawyer, one of the leading secretaries, a man by the name of Zack, was raided by the police. And evidence was collected from papers and documents and files taken in this raid that proved the following thing in a court case. The Illuminati had laid plans to assassinate every head of the German state, the government. They were planning to infiltrate the schools and destroy every vestige of patriotism by capturing the schools, the education, and the news media. And number four, plans to infiltrate national bodies overseas were also discovered. Say, does this sound familiar to the listener? As a result of this, the Illuminati was banned in the year 1786. Banned in the country of ancient Germany or Prussia. Weisshaupt pulled a famous communist trick. He merely skipped town, disappeared and reappeared in Switzerland. And there, from this little neutral country, simply continued to operate his Illuminati. During this period of banishment and operation from Switzerland, Illuminati doctrine spread like a burning fire in a dry forest across Europe. The Masonic lodges especially were the targets for penetration, for control, and for channels through which to spread the revolutionary doctrine of Weisshaupt's Illuminati. In some of the so-called secret exclusive meetings held in some of these Masonic lodges, terrible, awful orgies and rites were carried on. For example, blood-smeared crucifixes, black candles, an altar of human skeletons, drinking of human blood, and actually prayer meetings to call evil spirits to attend the sessions were carried out. This gives you an idea of how deeply degraded these things were in their early stages. Satanism, devil worship was practiced in various meetings of the Illuminati. And by this period, the rituals of devil worship and black magic had become a normal part of the, quote, religious area of Illuminati organization. These facts should disturb and move our hearts with interest. The seventh step in tracing communism through history takes us to the horrible French Revolutionary War of 1789. One, if not the leading factor, in the birth of this terrible event of suffering and bloodshed was the part the Illuminati played in bringing about the French Revolution. Vice-opts Illuminati, though banned, though swooped upon by the police, though sent to the firing squads in the prisons of Europe, they continued their dirty works. And the Illuminati underground subversive organization played a major role in bringing about the French Revolution of 1789. In fact, it is a historical truth that the Illuminati actually paid the mobs who stormed the Bastille, or the fortress, of the prison, freeing all the political prisoners, and then armed them, which was the springboard that started the horrible French Revolution that lasted about six years thereafter. It is not by accident that the war cry of the crowds of the French Revolution was liberty, equality, brotherhood. Incidentally, the same cry of vice-ops Illuminati back in 1776, though swooped upon by the police, and put out of communication and disengaged, the doctrines continued on. After the worst part of the French Revolution, and vice-ops disappeared off the scene, a Frenchman by the name of Baruch appeared in 1796, organized in Paris a secret underground movement, began to print pamphlets and spread them throughout the poor sections of Paris. These pamphlets and publications called for the people to rise up to establish a republic of equals, by interpretation meaning socialism. It called for the destruction of marriage, the home, the state to own all children, the slaughter of all those of the ownership class, the destruction of all in authority, and finally, a world rule over all the earth. Too bad for Baruch, but one of his own men betrayed him, and he marched to the guillotine. Though often oppressed, the hellish ideas that started back with Plato, that were disseminated down through the movements of history, that found reality in the Brotherhood of Peace, with J.J. Rousseau, that were put into street action by vice-ops, that spilled over and created the French Revolution. Though often oppressed, one head of the monastery was cut off, and another head appeared. Even the world-famous atheist Thomas Paine tells us in his book, The Age of Reason, that he was a follower and a believer of Illuminati. Though stamped upon from time to time, and again and again, Illuminati, that is, its doctrines, keep appearing and reappearing in the course of history. You see, my listeners, the devil has a message for his own. He has a word to speak. And if you who follow this carefully, surely you see that the entire communist system is the greatest masterpiece counterfeit of the plan of Jesus Christ and of God for humanity. Satan keeps his message alive. The eighth step in tracing communism through history, takes us to the dawn of the 1800s. Somehow the 1800s may be described as the darkest 99 years in all of human history. For a search into history will reveal that during this period, Earth's greatest cults and most dangerous false religions, some of the most cursed events, organizations, and persons were born on the stage of humanity during the 1800s. Satan keeps his own alive. On May 5, 1818, in Trevis, Germany, Karl Heinrich Marx Levi was born. This man, later on in life, was to be the man who reached back through the vast sweep of history that we've just covered, and select various bits and pieces of the doctrine that was soon to become formulated basic communist policy, and put these in books and writings, and give the soon-to-be-born communist organization a Bible and a handbook, a blueprint to operate from. Marx simply looked back across history, and he selected bits and pieces of information from various writers and individuals who had lived before him. Marx liked socialism. He looked back into all the socialist writers who had lived before his time, and he selected bits and pieces of the writings of Robert Owens and Charles Fourier, famous socialist. Marx studied economics, and he borrowed bits and pieces of the theories and philosophies of George Adam Smith and David Ricardo. Marx was a lover of anarchy. On one occasion, he wrote to a young woman who was to be his wife these words, Jimmy, if we can blend our souls together, I can fling my glove in the face of the world, and together stride over the wreckage as a conqueror. Marx liked anarchy. Much of his writings revealed that he borrowed from the famous father of anarchy, Pierre Proudhon. Marx liked men who had turned from the true religion. During his university studies, what faith he had was finished by the apostate, phony theological professors Bruno Boer and David Strauss. Marx longed for a book to drive the last nail in God's coffin, and Charles Darwin came on the stage at this time with his Origin of the Species. Incidentally, Darwin even wrote a letter to Marx, wanting to know if he could dedicate some of his books to him. In philosophy he borrowed from Hegel and in literature he borrowed from Sir Francis Bacon and Sir Thomas More. Yes, Marx was not an originator, and in this eighth step and final step of tracing communism through history, we simply see how that Marx borrowed, stole, plagiarized from the various thoughts, theories, philosophies, books, pamphlets, and expressions of infamous characters of history who lived before him or near his time. And Marx formulated his own particular thought as a result of sweeping this vast collection out of history past. Finally, then Marx formulated his doctrine and put it into his various writings and books, along with the assistance of his lifelong friend and possibly the only friend he ever had, the Englishman named Frederick Engels. Some of their writings were Dutch Capital, The Jewish Question, Poverty of Philosophy, The Holy Family, Principles of Communism, Transition from Eight to Man, Socialism, The Housing Question, Religion, and then of course in 1848 the Bible of the Communist Party, The Manifesto. Hence, we have traced communism through history. It was Marx and Engels who must be given the credit of formulating the final doctrines and putting them in print for which the party basically operates from this present day. In the book of Ephesians, chapter 6 and verse 10, we read, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore, take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. Speaking to you on the subject, How Communism Operates. Our greatest enemy in the war against international communism is our ignorance. The greatest friend the worldwide communist conspiracy has is our ignorance. There is no substitute in this battle for accurate, precise knowledge. To know the enemy, his methods, the laws by which he operates, is to have half the battle in our favor. How does communism operate? Understanding the mind and thinking of the true communist and their intentions is absolutely necessary. It was Lenin in his Selected Works Volume 7, page 298 who said, Capitalism and Socialism cannot live in peace. A funeral song will be sounded over either the communist or the capitalist world. D. Z. Molenski, a lecturer at the School of Political War in Moscow said, as far back as 1931, War to the hilt between the capitalist world and the communist is inevitable. Karl Marx in his Communist Manifesto said, Communists everywhere support every revolutionary movement against the existing social order. Lenin in his book, The State and Revolution calls for the destruction of all the form of the world's government. The present dictator of the Communist Party, Brezhnev said in a speech in April 1970, quote, Communism will eventually win a full and final victory throughout the entire world. End of quote. My purpose in giving these quotations from the mouths, pins, and books of leading world communists is to remind you again that communism has one goal in mind and that is final and complete world conquest. Until we of the western free world can master some of the methods of operation of the communist as they pursue themselves to this goal then we will do little if anything in defeating this greatest of all enemies the western world and the church of Jesus Christ has today. In the mind and thinking of every true communist he considers himself at war against us. In this war that every true communist is thoroughly convinced that he or she is in against every anti or non communist nation on earth. In this war the communists have developed classical and unusual weapons of warfare. When we of the free world think about a war we think of the normal weapons of warfare such as tanks, bombs, rockets and so forth. But I must tell you that communist methods of operation in their aim to conquer us for the most part do not include tanks, bombs, planes, rockets. It is true that in some situations they will use these. But it is further true that the communists have developed a highly specialized weaponry. A stock pile of weapons that they are using in their operations against us that are almost too much to believe when we hear about them. In fact Lenin said in his book Left Wing Communism page 47 If we communists are to win we must master all means of war. Only then will victory be certain. Let me read you from a communist paper that was published some of the weapons that they say they are using in fighting us to our destruction. Some of our weapons are, they say radio broadcast, motion pictures, advertising, literature, mass media, music, singing, tourism, cultural visits and exchanges by various professional people who from the free world visit our countries, universities and college students, educators and professors. In short, the communists say anything and everything if it will advance us into the camp of our enemies, if it will help us to win finally, anything and everything will become a weapon. You see, communism deliberately has planned it this way. If it is a national trade fair, if it is a conference, if it is a peace pact, a friendship treaty, if it is allowing a church to be open to make fools of the tourists, if it is a moral or immoral purpose, if it is a racial issue and economic problem, regardless of what it is, if the communists, strategists and experts see that they can use it to advance themselves toward their final goal of conquering the world, then listeners, they will use it. Some time ago in speaking to a group, I was called into question by a very outstanding intellectual in the group when I said that the communists use a peace pact. This gentleman said, please explain how can signing a peace treaty become a weapon to help the communists win their war against us? Please explain, the professor asked. We have seen it in the recent events of when West Germany signed a friendship and a goodwill treaty with communist controlled East Germany. In reality, the communists stole half of the nation of Germany and half the city of Berlin, the capital at that time. The communists stole this and they marked time, waited 20 years and then they signed a friendship treaty with the government of Bonn in Western Germany. And in this friendship agreement it says that the people, the government of Western Germany now recognizes the government of Eastern Germany as a legitimate corporate operating government. The news media of the entire world came in. It was splashed over the headlines, the radio and the TV of the free world, that now there was friendship between Western and Eastern and deceiving millions into believing that a thief which has stolen half of a nation is not a thief. That the nation belonged to them after all, even though they stole it and stole half the city of Berlin. And therefore those who do not know communism, the ignorant, uninformed masses of the Western free world, were further deceived to let down their guard to thinking they can trust a communist controlled people and government. There's an illustration of how they use a peace pact. We see some of the tools and weapons that they use. Now, let me show you how they seek to operate in using these weapons. Communist tactics for the most part differ from the free world. Communism has never aimed at connecting millions into actual card-carrying party membership. Lenin made this very clear in his original pamphlet that formed the communist party called What Is To Be Done. Lenin only wanted a tiny handful of trained, dedicated disciplined, equipped and informed people who would take any order and obey it without question. And he promised the victory from communism in the work of subverting and destroying the foundations of the western nations and preparing them for the revolutionary communist takeover that will lead to communism. The communists have drawn up a master plan. They call for highly trained communist agents to be sent into every non-communist nation on earth and there to work patiently, slowly but surely to bring about the necessary conditions that will finally cause that particular nation and its government to collapse from within. To quote Lenin, to fall in our hands like an overripe fruit. Let me remind you that the millions of students that get out in the public streets and on the steps of cathedrals and around the nation's capitals and wave the communist flag and give the communist clench fist salute and project the communist peace sign. Let me remind you that far by the majority of these students are not communist. Most of these poor kids don't know what they are. But they're being used and manipulated by a tiny handful of trained agents moving in and out of their midst without them knowing it. And for the most part the majority of these kids are just puppets and stooges dancing to the pull of the communist control strings. And they're unwittingly doing a good work for the communist trained agents a few of them who always remain in the shadows. These trained espionage and subvertive agents are always given assignments as to where they are to work upon coming into the western world. Some of these communist agents are trained for as much as ten years before being sent into a desired target within the western free world. They're given trusted contacts of party members that already exist in that particular nation that are already at work. And these trained agents seek out such places as the following to begin their work of distrust, disruption, hate and violence. Quoting from a communist book they tell us that they seek to work in such places as trade unions, labor unions, colleges, universities, high school, factories, all forms of industry, banks, branches of government, farms, farming communities, churches, religious organizations, social, health services, sporting organizations, anti-war bodies, students, councils and organizations, shops, businesses, even the branches of the armed forces, the defense, the police, the embassies, the consulates, all of these things, in fact any organization or group that can influence the people, they become a prospective target for a trained, highly polished communist agent to slip into. And as he waits time to begin to manipulate and use this group or this organization to bring about the devilish and destructive aims of communism. It was Lenin who said in his book Left Wing Communism, quote Communists should strive everywhere to stir up the minds of the people and draw them into the battle. Again in the same book, Lenin says the communist party must send their slogans, scatter and distribute their leaflets, they must go to the houses of the workers, the cottages, the country, the remote villages, they should go into the most common places, they should penetrate the unions, the societies, the casual meeting places where the enemy gathers, and there they should seek to fulfill the task of communism. And friends, when I give these quotations, they're coming from books used today in communist political training schools. Hence we see that the communists do not choose to gather the millions into actual party membership. They had rather take a few trained, dedicated agents who can speak the language of the nation into which they're sent, who know the history, the manners and customs, the cultural and social habits of the people among which they work better than the people know them themselves. And coming into this environment through a fake passport and fake documents, the communists send their highly trained and special polished agents out into every non-communist or anti-communist nation on earth. And slowly but surely they fit into their position to begin to do their work of subversion and violence. J.B. Hutton, former member of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovakian Communist Party, has this to say about communist agents going out and entering into the nations, the free non-communist and anti-communist nations of the world. Quote, Western security experts estimate that at least a half a million highly trained men and women are at work in every nation of the earth, bringing about slowly but surely the downfall of that nation. He further tells us that countless thousands of highly trained Russian and Chinese and communist agents live in respectable places, work at respectable occupations, and give the appearance of being good, honest, patriotic citizens of the land in which they live. But in reality they are secret agents of the international communist conspiracy, highly scientifically and specially trained and equipped to send their selected workers into every country or any location to bring about the downfall. Their purpose in entering into the anti or non-communist nations is to create conditions of chaos, unrest, turmoil, strife, hate, and factions. And finally to bring about demonstrations which will finally develop into violence, rioting, terrorism, and anarchy. And into this scene they will cast their communist revolution that will result in the destruction of that nation and the rise of international communism. Now briefly let me show you how these communist agents get in. Communist experts have studied every nation of the free world. They know our manners, our customs, our culture, our history, our systems of politics, and religion, and economics. They have studied us and our habits of operation thoroughly. Special trained agents, especially from Russia. There is one communist training school at a place called Gagaizin where in this school that covers hundreds of acres, the actual conditions of the target where the agent will be sent are reproduced. For example, in the communist spy training school of Gagaizin located in Russia, they have actually reproduced sections of New York City, London, and the various leading capital cities of the world. These people go there. They live in these conditions for ten years. They learn English. They learn our money. They learn everything there is to know about our way of life. And after passing ten rigid years of difficult, hard training, they are given an assignment. And through fake passports and documents produced at Moscow, they finally land at our major airports or our ship's harbors. And there they present their fake documents. They speak the language. They have the legend of the background built up. And they enter into our society for the most part, without ever being detected by our immigration or customs authorities. This is how the communists enter in. Then they move to their given target. They already know the streets, the lanes, the buildings. These have been memorized. They know the language and the culture and customs and habits of the people amongst whom they are to work. These have been understood in their ten-year period of training. They know the money. They know the religion, the churches. They have memorized addresses and photographs. They know the issues that are touchy, that can be exploited. They know the clergymen that are gullible, that they can use by playing to be friends and sympathetic with a neutral cause. They know the politicians that they can use the same way. Are members of a large organization or a sporting body or a racial body. In fact, they know the scene well. And into this enter these trained communist agents. Friends, it is serious. We need to understand how they work. As the communists enter, these trained agents enter into a given target. They have their plans already laid. If they go into an area where there is hunger, they promise to give the hungry man food. The working man more pay in shorter hours. The employer good trade and better prices. They'll promise to give the black man better conditions and things that he wants. They promise the white man to keep the black man in place. They promise the Jew they'll kill the Arab. And they promise the Arabs they'll help them kill the Jews. They promise the gullible, uninformed and in all probability unsaved so-called Christians that they will help them to readjust the ownership of the Earth's goods. They promise the so-called gullible and stupid informed clergymen and religious leaders especially within the ranks of the World Council of Churches where their influence is tremendously felt that they will help end all poverty. Racial injustices will be stopped and they will bring peace on Earth. And of course, those who are not trained and informed and who do not know, welcome this good and long awaited for news because here they see a prospective individual who's had some experience, who's trained and who understands and who possibly will help them to adjust the situation that obviously needs adjusting. Little do they realize that instead of a sympathetic friend, they have on their hands a highly trained communist agent sent from Gikaizen or the Marx-Engels schools who will use them while pretending to be their friend to bring about not only their destruction and the destruction of all that they're trying to do, but the destruction of their nation, their church, their organization and everything in general and the erection on its ashes of the red flag of international communism. It was Joseph Stalin who said that communism will be built by the hands of non-communists. Simply, Stalin is saying that a few highly trained communist agents can play upon the grievances and the sympathies and the longings of the ignorant, stupid, uninformed western masses and can get them in the streets to demonstrate, can get them to object and can manipulate them and use them to create conditions of unrest, of hate, of distrust, of violence finally that will result in the anarchist, communistic, revolutionary overthrow of existing law and order. The communists are working on every hand and to those of you who listen to this lecture, I must warn you, they're working in every non-communist country and society on earth. They're working in the countries that are anti-communist, but they're working secretly. They're working in the countries that are passive and take no particular opposition to them and outlaw them. There they're working openly and secretly. The thing to remember is that we must understand their methods of operation for only as we understand them can we move to defeat them and smash them before they defeat us. Why do the communists seek to slip into an organization or a group or a society or a church body or a particular group of individuals and use these for their purposes? Let me list you some of the reasons. They seek to influence the public, oftentimes about an oncoming election. They seek to promote unrest, hate, violence, disobedience, lawlessness, especially amongst the youth. They always project the police, every policeman, every security official, every government official. They seek to project them as a brute, as a scab, as a rascal. They present the idea, especially to the gullible, uninformed youth at anarchy, that down with the establishment is the order of the day. They seek to pit one race against another. They seek to launch city-wide, province-wide, nation-wide, and world-wide hate and smear campaigns, especially against a nation, a people, a government, an institution, or an organization that stands to fight against them and exposes them. Would you please remember this statement in relationship to this organization that is bringing you this lecture that is Christian Mission to the Communist World. The communist will seek by all means and all methods that are existing, and if they do not exist, then they will produce them to exist. And by so doing, they will seek to promote the conditions that will finally result in the reflection on the authorities of the nation and a call for the outing and the down of these authorities and something else to replace it. In studying the history of the operation of the Communist Party, we have found some of the following facts that perhaps would help you. In America, a top man in the American government, Alger Hiss, was ordered to get a job with the American government, and working within the U.S. State Department was to steal the secrets and turn them over to the communists. It took Alger Hiss many years to do this, but finally he became President Harry Truman's chief advisor. Herbert Philbrick in America was ordered to join a certain Baptist church and to create havoc in this church and neutralize this church due to creating unrest among its members. Philbrick did this. Harry Bridges an Australian was ordered to go to America to get a top position in the American Longshoremen's Union and there to control them and to be able to call a strike at any moment for communism. Harry Bridges did this. Uraloginoff was trained and sent to South Africa to steal secrets and to work to bring about the destruction of South Africa. He was captured by the security police in a flat on Smith Street in Johannesburg in 1967. We could go on and on and on. In studying the history of the Communist Party of South Africa, we see how that they infiltrated into the various leading organizations of South Africa and used them for the purposes of furthering communism. The African National Congress was banned by the government of South Africa because it became a communist controlled organization using the masses. The various anti-conscription and anti-apartheid organizations are always targets for communists to slip in and to control and to stir up hate and violence. The Springbok Legion was a good organization started in South Africa to help the ex-veterans. It became controlled by the communists on the executive committee. The decisions were for the communist purposes and the money was spent for communist aims. It was banned by the government because of this. We could go on and on and on. Especially do communist agents seek to slip into the universities, those of a leftist and non-conservative nature and there to influence and inflame the students, to incite them to demonstrate, to march, to defy law and order and to defame the government and even to draw the unsuspecting police into conflict that later on the police may be held up as an object of brutality and infamy. This is one of the leading tactics of operation of communism today. Then the students blame the government and blame the police and it is spread worldwide. Friends, how we need to understand the methods of operation of communism. They will exploit a condition of grievance and unrest. They seek to portray and project a false picture of a great anti-communist people and government and country to the nations of the other parts of the world. They send out millions of tons of communist propaganda and literature all over the world where the nations and governments of the free world are stupid enough to allow the stuff to be sold and do not clamp a ban or a prescription upon it. This literature always projects communism as the answer and always glorifies the ills and faults of the peoples and governments and nations of the free world. They establish their tourist routes in communist countries where visitors from the western world who are suspicious enter into Russia. In 1970 over 2 million tourists entered into the Soviet Union and here they saw what the communists had fixed for them to see. They saw blessing and prosperity, churches packed and hymns being sung and what happened? These tourists returned to their western free world as a well-trained communist propaganda piece spouting out that there is freedom and liberty in those countries. Little do they realize they have become an unconscious and unwitting tool for the cause of communism. The story goes on and on and on. What is the answer? The answer is that we must put on the whole armor of God. We must study and have ourselves informed. We must keep ourselves abreast and up to date with the moves and the methods of communism as far as is possible. We must support a good anti-communist government, whoever that may be. We must support organizations and individuals and institutions, especially the Christian ones that are seeking to inform the people and to get the message to the people concerning precisely what communism is and how it operates. My friends, have you done your part? Remember as you have sat and listened to this tape that right this very moment as you're listening, maybe in your city and I'm sure I could say in your province and I know I could say in your nation's capital and maybe amongst your universities and your unions and your various organizations that have that can touch the masses amongst these groups the enemy is working to create conditions that will ultimately result in the destruction of all that is good and dear and clean and holy. What will you do? Some of you have a dear wife or a husband or a son or a daughter. Some of you love the freedom and the flag that flies over your heads. Why don't you in the closing moments of this lecture turn to Jesus Christ. Trust Him by faith and repentance as your personal Lord and Savior. Be saved. Take Him into your life and He will take you into His. And then with Christ the whole armor of God standing with those who stand against this thing let us join hands that we might fight the good fight of faith. I believe that we can win. I believe that if we can come back to God in national repentance and renew our faith in the Lamb of God and His precious saving blood, we'll turn from our dishonesty and our sin and we'll get ourselves informed and equipped that we can win the battle in our great land.
