Overview of the End Times
Mike Bickle

Mike Bickle (1955 - ). American evangelical pastor, author, and founder of the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC), born in Kansas City, Missouri. Converted at 15 after hearing Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach at a 1970 Fellowship of Christian Athletes conference, he pastored several St. Louis churches before founding Kansas City Fellowship in 1982, later Metro Christian Fellowship. In 1999, he launched IHOPKC, pioneering 24/7 prayer and worship, growing to 2,500 staff and including a Bible college until its closure in 2024. Bickle authored books like Passion for Jesus (1994), emphasizing intimacy with God, eschatology, and Israel’s spiritual role. Associated with the Kansas City Prophets in the 1980s, he briefly aligned with John Wimber’s Vineyard movement until 1996. Married to Diane since 1973, they have two sons. His teachings, broadcast globally, focused on prayer and prophecy but faced criticism for controversial prophetic claims. In 2023, Bickle was dismissed from IHOPKC following allegations of misconduct, leading to his withdrawal from public ministry. His influence persists through archived sermons despite ongoing debates about his legacy

Sermon Summary
Mike Bickle presents an overview of the end times, emphasizing the dual nature of the 'Day of the Lord' as both a time of great revival and severe judgment. He explains that the last three and a half years before Christ's return will witness the greatest revival in history alongside unprecedented tribulations for the rebellious. Bickle highlights the importance of understanding the second coming of Jesus, which will establish His kingdom on earth, and the necessity for believers to remain steadfast in their faith amidst the trials to come. He encourages the church to prepare for both the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the challenges posed by the Antichrist and his system. Ultimately, the sermon calls for a paradigm shift in how believers view the end times, focusing on the hope and authority that comes from Christ's return.

Father, we thank you in the name of Jesus for the word of God, and I ask you, Lord, to release the anointing of the Holy Spirit tonight so there would be living understanding. Lord, I ask you for the release of living understanding in the name of Jesus, amen. Okay, overview of the end times. Roman numeral one, the day of the Lord. There's two extremes in the end times that the Lord has planned on his end time agenda. In Joel chapter two, verse 11, it says, the day of the Lord is great and it's very terrible. Those are the two extremes. Paragraph A, the day of the Lord refers to the unusual end time events related to the second coming of Jesus. That's not a technical definition, but that's enough to kind of get you into the place of understanding. These events are real positive and they're real negative. They're really extremes, and both of them, the positives and the negatives, they come to maturity. They come to fullness in the last three and a half years before the Lord returns, and I believe that's in the generation of people alive in this room right now. Number one, the great day of the Lord. It is a great day. It's a wonderful day if you're responsive, if you're saying yes to Jesus. The greatest revival in human history is going to be released. Number two, it's a very terrible day, and that's to the rebellious. The people that say no to Jesus, it will be the most severe time, any time in history, because of two things. They're gonna experience the most severe judgments of God, but that's not all there is to it. The most severe attack of Satan. So they're gonna have Satan and God. Those that are in rebellion against God will experience both of those dimensions. B, we're gonna look at the positive trends tonight and the positive events and the people of the great day of the Lord, and we're gonna look at some of the negative. We're gonna spend most of the time on the millennial kingdom in the second coming, and then we're gonna look at some of the other events as well. Just real brief, my ideas tonight is just to give you a brief overview. Roman numeral two, the great day of the Lord. Look, what are some of the positive trends? A, the greatest revival in history is around the corner. It's already beginning in some of the nations of the world. We're gonna see the miracles that happen in the book of Acts and the miracles in the book of Exodus. You know, when Moses did the mighty miracles, when he delivered the children of Israel, they're gonna be combined and multiplied on a global level. It's gonna be the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit ever in history is related to the great day of the Lord, and it's in this timeframe. B, the greatest in-gathering of souls. I believe in God for over a billion. I believe the number's gonna be more than that. The angel showed John a number that no one could count. The number of people that get saved in the final hours before the second coming of Christ is a vast number from every nation of the earth. C, it's gonna be a time when the spirit of prophecy is gonna rest on every single believer. It says in Acts 2, I'll pour out my spirit on all flesh. Every believer, there will not be a believer who does not have dreams and visions. The guy says, well, I don't really believe in dreams and visions. I says, it doesn't matter. You're gonna have them anyway, and you'll believe. So let's not even spend time debating it. D, it's gonna be a time when the bridal paradigm is established, when the spirit is gonna be resting on the church, and the church is gonna have a bridal identity, and the church is gonna be lovesick, and the church is gonna know the power of courageous love. People are thinking, some believers are thinking, it's gonna be so difficult, and the revival's coming, but what about me? Our hearts will be so alive in the love of God, in the bridal paradigm. R, E, the worship and prayer movement's gonna reach the highest place of authority it's ever known in history. F, supernatural provision of food and water. The Lord is going to do in the days to come. He's already doing it in various places around the world. I've heard testimonies over the years of this kind of thing, but in the days of Moses, when they were coming out of Egypt, water, I mean, food fell from the sky called manna. Every day fed three million people for 40 years. Water came out of a rock. Do you know how much water it would take to give three million people plus the livestock water? I mean, we're not talking about a little drinking fountain with three million people coming by and getting a drink. The water came out of the rock like a gushing river in the middle of the wilderness. And it says here in Micah 7, verse 15, the end of the page here, the PowerPoint, it says, as in the days when you came out of Egypt, I will show them the same miracles. The same miracles are gonna happen that happened with Moses. G, top of page two for the interns, those that have the hard copy notes. Again, everybody will be able to have those next week if you want them. Supernatural guidance. God will give us prophetic revelation, guidance to safety, guidance to provision, where food and water and refuge is, guidance to reconnect loved ones. The Holy Spirit will tell us who, when, where, what, and how to get there. There's gonna be a divine guidance on escaping calamities, earthquakes, bombs, the ambush of the enemy. It's gonna be supernatural guidance to the people who walk close to the Lord. H, it's gonna be supernatural protection. The book of Revelation talks about God's sealing, putting his seal, a seal of divine protection on individuals. We have a couple of verses there. Number one, under B, I call it the Goshen principle, the Goshen principle. And Goshen was the property, it was the geographic area outside of, I mean, in Egypt where the, where the Hebrew slaves lived, 3 million. So it wasn't, I mean, Kansas City is only 1.5 million. So 3 million people live, Goshen was big. I'm sure it was the low rent district because it was a slave camp, but it was 3 million people. But in the land of Goshen, I'm sure the Egyptians talked about Goshen in a despairing way. However, when the plagues broke in upon the land of Egypt, upon the Egyptians, in the land of Goshen, the plagues did not strike any of the people there. So it's a glorious thing that when the livestock died, when the cows died, they didn't die in Goshen. It wasn't just the people didn't get touched, even the animals didn't get touched in Goshen. When the flies came over the land, the plague of flies, and I mean, that's a horrible thing. The flies did not go in Goshen, they can fly free. The most amazing thing is the light, because when God turned the lights out over the nation, it was darkness. This is, they could feel the darkness. For three days, there was so much darkness, they could feel it, it had even a demonic presence, but there was light in Goshen. Now, how do you figure that? How does the sun not work over Egypt, but the light works in Goshen? I can't wait till Moses explains that one to us when we meet him in the not too distant future. Number two, I call it pockets of mercy. That's just a term that I've used over the years. It's a biblical idea, though the term is just, you can call it anything you want, speaks of geographic areas in which God's people will be protected. I don't think just individuals will be protected, whole geographic areas will be protected. The geographic areas may be a mile or they may be a hundred miles. We don't know. I just call them pockets of mercy. One of the most important verses, and there's quite a few of them, by the way, I'm only picking one, Zephaniah chapter two, talking about the end times in its context. It says, seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, and it may be, or one translation says perhaps, you will be hidden in the day of God's wrath or you will be protected. God will put his hand over a whole area, not just an individual, it's true of individuals, but there'll be pockets of mercy. There'll be family units, but more than family units, geographic areas of which God calls it a safety zone in the spirit. They have immunity from the judgments and the plagues. In Amos chapter four, verse seven and eight, the Lord spoke and he said to Amos, he says, tell Israel this, I withheld rain from you. I made it rain on one city and I withheld rain on the other city. One part of a city was rained on, the other part it wasn't rained on. So what happened is the people of two or three cities had to go over to one of the cities that were blessed and get water from those cities. I believe we're gonna see the same kind of things, that we're gonna have places where there's healing flowing, where there's food that's multiplying, where the prophetic word of the Lord, where there's power over demons and large parts of the earth won't have that, but there'll be these pockets of mercy, these cities of refuge. And that means a hundred things to a hundred different people that's just a term, I'm not, it's an Old Testament term, I'm not really using it in the biblical sense. I'm talking about areas where the people of God who are pressing into God are living in divine favor in immunity from what's going on in the earth. So, Romans number three, the biblical paradigm, the most important event in end time prophecy is the second coming of Jesus to establish his thousand year reign on the earth. Matter of fact, it's one of the most prominent themes in the whole Bible. It's one of those themes, it's amazing how much it's been neglected and it's one of the most prominent themes. There's more on this theme than almost any other subject in the Bible. There's a couple other subjects you'd put right at the top with it. But one of the things that is needed is that we need to get a different paradigm, a completely different shifting of our understanding about this, about the second coming of Jesus. Because we end up with a mystical view of it instead of a practical view of how it really works. A, one of the greatest and most prominent themes in scripture is Jesus' second coming to establish God's kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. We must have the right perspective to understand these truths. And here's the most difficult part is this next sentence. It's easy to hear the sentence, but it's hard to apply it. And I want you to see if you can go get some of that music down. So for real. Just go walk around and see if you can figure out who's doing it. I'm about to start dancing to it in a minute. Come on. Okay. Yeah, I'm sure you guys can figure out. Just kind of tell them to look one way and pull the plug the other way. Okay, there you go. Give us 15 minutes of immunity. Okay, here's the most important paradigm shift that is necessary to get our minds around And this is the paradigm shift that most people don't have. It's that Jesus is going to rule the earth. Here it is on the bottom of paragraph A with the natural human process not suspended. It will be natural human processes. Even when Jesus is on the earth with resurrected saints, there will be human process. However, though it will not be suspended, it will be enhanced by the supernatural dimension. Now you're going to have to get your mind around that for a few moments. We have the idea that when Jesus comes back, the natural realm was going to disappear and everything will be fully supernatural. That's not how it's going to be. When Jesus comes back, the natural dimension will continue, but it will not be suspended. It will be enhanced with supernatural power. And the model is when Jesus came back in the resurrected body, he could walk through walls, but he could eat fish and they could hold on to him and talk to him and recognize him. He has had a very natural interaction with them, but he had supernatural dimensions about his resurrected body. B, the most oft repeated probably verse in IHOP on eschatology, but I encourage you all to say this to beginners. This paragraph B, all of you say this one all the time and I find it on most handouts. We all have this paragraph that the centerpiece of God's eternal purpose is for Jesus to come back to establish his kingdom over all the earth. And when he comes back to establish his kingdom, he's going to join together the heavenly and the earthly realms together. He's going to merge the natural and the supernatural, not suspend one for the other. He's going to bring them together in full merger. It says in Ephesians 1 that having made known the mystery or the plan of God, verse 10, here's the plan of God. God's going to gather together everything in Christ, all the things in the heavenly realm and all things in the earthly realm, and he's going to bring them together. And this is the critical point to understand in the second coming, because when Jesus returns, we automatically think the natural realm goes away. And because of that, when we read the passages, they don't make sense because we have to get a paradigm. We have to get a perspective. The natural realm was going to continue in a very dynamic way. And we're going to be involved in it, even with the resurrected bodies, that the glory of God isn't to replace the spirit realm with the natural. It's to integrate and to merge the two of them together, not get rid of one of them. See, heaven speaks of the supernatural realm where God's power and presence are fully manifest. Earth speaks of the material physical realm where there's human process, human emotions, physical sensation. And these are going to be brought together, even in a resurrected bodies. We're going to have human emotion and physical sensation in a very dynamic way. D. Now, as most of us in this room are Gentiles and Gentiles have a very different paradigm than than the Jewish paradigm, whether they're believers or not. When I mean, in Jesus, when they're thinking about the Messiah, it's we are very, very different than them here. I'll give it to you. And this is another paragraph for those that are teachers. I encourage you to just lift this paragraph and run with it. Gentile believers usually think of worshiping Jesus as God in the supernatural conditions of heaven. That sounds very familiar to all of us. Yeah, of course. And that's right. We emphasize Jesus as deity, as the son of God. But the Jewish paradigm, it's not worshiping Jesus as God, but reigning with the messianic king as a man. They see the Messiah as a man. I mean, if you push him, they might say, well, he might be God. We don't know that, but he's man. You talk to a Gentile, he's the son of God. Well, I guess he's human, but he's mostly he's God. And they view reigning with a king in the conditions of the earth. We talk about worshiping a God in heaven and the two realms. The truth is both of them coming together. Paragraph E. When we think about the end times, there's three types of people that are going to be on the earth. It's very clear in the Bible. They don't use exactly these terms, but the descriptions, the categories are clear. When the Lord appears in the sky to catch the church up, called the rapture, the catching of the church, the redeemed are going to be raptured. That's one category. The reprobate, that's bad. Look at your neighbor and say, reprobate's bad. That's bad. They took the mark of the beast. They are demonized. They cannot be saved. They don't want to be saved. They have a hatred in their spirit towards Jesus. But the third category that people don't think much about that are clearly in the scripture is what I'm going to call the resistors. And the resistors are the unsaved survivors of the great tribulation. They were not raptured, but neither did they take the mark of the beast. And the best example that I have in modern history is the resistance movements in Europe, like, for instance, the French resistance movement against Adolf Hitler. When the Nazi regime came into France, they loved France and they loved freedom. It didn't have anything to do with God. They didn't think it. It wasn't like, no, we hate Hitler because we love Jesus. They didn't think about Jesus. They said, we love France and we love freedom. We hate Hitler. And they resisted him. And many of them were martyrs, just as political as patriots. And there will be many, many patriots. There'll be many different resistance movements that will say no to the mark of the beast, even at the point of death, without being born again. There'll be hundreds of millions of these. And these resistors will be many categories. Some of them very militant patriots and others of them just, you know, tucked away in a cave, just trying to get through, can't figure, sort it out what's going on. And, you know, trying to get a copy of one of those end-time books to figure out what's really happening. And, I mean, there's going to be so many types of resistors. We can't, couldn't imagine to get a whole catalog of all of them. But these resistors will be on the earth. There will be hundreds of millions of them. And these are the ones that will have an opportunity to be saved when Jesus returns. And they won't get saved instantaneously. It won't even take a process. They'll go like, now, you are the guy in the sky, right? Right. I saw you go over my town. I said, I couldn't figure out for the life of me what was going on. They won't have instant knowledge just because there's a supernatural experience of Jesus appearing in this cloud, in the sky. They will, it will take time, but hundreds of millions of them will get saved. And they will populate the millennial earth and be a part of the government. Good job, girls. F. I'm telling you, small but mighty. You want to get the job done. Send that little 4-8, you know, it's done. F. Oh, I forgot people are listening to this on internet. Jesus is a 100-year, a 1,000-year millennial kingdom. This is one of the major revelations of the Bible. Jesus is going to establish a real government on the earth. He's going to really bind Satan. The verse that, the passage that, I mean, the prayer Jesus told us to pray, thy kingdom come on the earth like it is in heaven. The kingdom is going to come on the earth like it is in heaven. That's going to happen when Jesus is ruling as king on the earth. There are hundreds and hundreds of passages on this. And yet it's been made a peripheral doctrine. It's one of the major doctrines of the Bible. It's one of the key, the centerpieces of God's plan for the earth, is Jesus to come back and to set up a government upon the earth and has resurrected. We will have resurrected bodies. We will be a part of the government and there will be people with natural bodies on the earth that we will interact with them. Gee, at this time, the kingdom of God will be established on the earth and every sphere of life will come under the obedience of Jesus. Politics, economics, education, media, agriculture, technology, athletics, every arena of life. It will take a while. It won't be instantaneous. It will take decades and even some places even a number of decades to bring every single area even into the knowledge of God. It'll take time. Won't happen instantaneously. The reason we think it'll happen instantaneously is because we're thinking when Jesus returns, the natural realm is gone and the supernatural just takes over everything. No, the two are operating together. But there's natural human process through all of the plan of God. Forever there is. That's glorious. A billion years from now, there will be wood. There will be things concrete like this and we'll have physical bodies. They will have infinitely superior to the bodies we have now, but they will be equally as physical and materials they are right now. It's exciting. H. Jesus will rule in perfect righteousness, perfect prosperity, continual peace. The saints with resurrected bodies will rule with them in partnership. It says there in Revelation 20, verse six, they shall be priest of God. It's talking about resurrected saints in its context. You can read it. And these these people will be raised from the dead and they will reign with Jesus for a thousand years and beyond that as well. But it's just talking about the next assignment, the next leg of the race is a thousand years. They'll be part of the government. And I there's it's very, very likely there's a number of people in this room that will be a part of that company. Not every believer will rule, every believer will get a resurrected body, but not every believer. People will only rule based on meekness and faithfulness in their assignment on the earth. I call our 70 years on the earth. It's our internship. Every one of us. I don't it doesn't matter if you're Billy Graham or Reinhardt Bonkier or you got the biggest ministry in the world. You're still in an internship for 70 years. And then the Lord evaluates our internship and then assigns us to our thousand year ministry. And it's based on one issue, it's not based on how popular, how big your meetings, how cool you were, all that. It's only based on meekness, humility, a servant spirit that you that you operated in during your internship. I, the apostles will rule with Jesus. Here's this is a very fantastic verse. Jesus said to them, surely here in Matthew 19, verse 28, surely I say to you in the regeneration. He's talking about the millennial kingdom. He goes in when things are remade over the top of the whole planet. When the son of God sits on the throne of glory that's in Jerusalem, you will sit on 12 thrones and you will rule Jerusalem. I mean, Israel with me, you will. And these 20 year old fishermen, it's, you know, this young youth group, this, you know, Jewish youth group. They said, what? He says, you're going to rule on thrones. These guys are 18, 19, 20 years old. They're going, really? He goes, yes, for a thousand years. And then you're going to get an assignment that's going to go on for millions of years after that. He told them in Luke chapter 22, he goes, I bestow upon you a kingdom just as my father bestowed one on me. You will eat and you'll drink in my kingdom. Beloved, you will eat. You will drink. You will be thirsty. You will be hungry. You will like eating and drinking and you will never gain weight. Amen. And you will sit on thrones. It told again, everybody, I don't want to mislead you. Every I don't think most people will will rule. I think most people do not live a life in the kingdom of God of faithfulness and meekness. Most people are so derailed with so much traffic going on in their soul that they never get around to serving. They're always going to, but they never quite do it. A servant spirit, a spirit of meekness. And those that are faithful, but will have assignments and those that were not faithful in that, but are part of the kingdom, they will be rejoicing. And they'll they'll really appreciate being in the kingdom of God. Don't get me wrong. But at the same time, I don't most believers will not be reigning and ruling. In this in this sense, Roman numeral four. But any believer can if they want. You don't have to have any special gifts. You don't have to have any special degrees or money or talents. All you have to do is have a servant spirit. You have to develop meekness in your spirit. As a matter of fact, normally, the more gifted one a person is, the less meekness they end up with over the years. It's more times than not, the the people that are that are less gifted develop more meekness. So there's this great reversal that's coming when the Lord returns. Roman numeral for the second coming of Jesus. I realize I'm spending most of my time on these two things because all the other negatives all only make sense in the light of these two giant things in the overview. But I'm just going to go through this real quick and then we're going to get into real quickly some of the other parts of the overview, positive and negative. OK, a Jesus is coming when it says the second coming, he's coming to the earth, he's not just appearing in the sky, he's coming to the earth. That's what a second coming means. He's coming to the earth a second time, particularly is coming to Jerusalem. Now, when I refer, I refer to the many different events associated with Jesus's second coming as the second coming procession. That's just language that I've developed. I'm not saying it's the best language, but they're biblical ideas. The nature of the second coming in terms of my language again, I'm sure you could lay it out in many different ways. As I think of a three stage process that includes many events, the second coming of Jesus isn't like at four o'clock one afternoon in the 401. It's over that. Well, that was good. Now, the second coming, he's he's coming to the earth. And it's a whole procession that takes it's a whole process that takes days and even weeks for the whole thing to be completed. B, I'm not going to go to the details of these, but I'm just kind of stretching your mind here. We're going to spend a whole course on this and September, October, November on these to give you all the verses on it and the concept stage one. Jesus crosses the sky to rapture the saints. But here's what it says when he crosses the sky says every single I will see him. Now, what he's got to cross every longitude and latitude of the planet. At an altitude close enough to the earth where people can see him, he's the average size of a man. They have to see him and recognize who he is. He has to go at a speed and an altitude where he can be recognized. We have this idea. You know, it's like just think of a hot air balloon. That guy is way up there. And you say, I think there's a guy up there. They say there is. I hope there is. And maybe you see some little figure leaning over. You can't say, no, he can't be way up like that. He's going to be at a speed and an altitude of every longitude and latitude of the planet, because every single human being on a round globe has to see him before that process is over. And one group will get raptured, another group will mourn and end up getting saved, another group will mourn because they're under judgment. The whole planet, billions of people will witness this. It's a phenomenal concept that's almost completely overlooked in the body of Christ. I mean, meaning it's the idea it's a one second event. It's not a one second event. Every single human on the planet has to see him again. He's going to be going at an altitude and a speed where they can recognize it's a Jewish man who's coming as a messiah. It's got to be that close and going that slow. So they can connect with it. He's in no hurry. He's been waiting a long time for this. Stage two. So it takes a little while to go across the across the sky for every for billions of people to see him. Now, I know you thought he was going to appear over your house first. It's like every kid, you know, they think that's how, you know, those little kids think that. Well, never mind. See, I'm going to get myself in trouble here. OK, stage two, he's going to have a procession on the land after he goes across the earth in the sky. He comes up marching. He doesn't land from the heavens to Jerusalem. He marches up through the land's many passages and he kills. He kills his enemies, the Antichrist kingdom. He kills them as the greater David is a warrior on a horse. He slays millions of them, millions of them. That's a complete new idea to most people. But it's profoundly biblical, many passages on it. And I'm preparing for my fall course on this. I just blown away how much the Bible says about this. Then, as he marches up through the land, killing people. For real. In a military, in a military posture. Stage three, he has a procession into Jerusalem. He's received by the leaders. He goes to the Mount of Olives. He goes to the temple. There's many things that happen when he goes to Jerusalem. That's a story in and of itself. OK, let's go to F. Paragraph F. I just want to read this to you. I had so much fun writing this. Again, those of you that get the notes again, you get the notes on the Internet. You know, it's anybody can have them in our copyrights, the right to copy. You can use any of it. But take this paragraph and do something with it. Jesus, let's read F. This is my favorite paragraph. Jesus is coming. Jesus is coming as a procession because he comes from heaven with all the saints. Billion one or two billion saints. He comes with all the angels. That's another couple of billion. He's traveling on clouds across the whole earth till every individual sees him. He will come with the father's glory with great power, inflaming fire and the brightness and the energy of lightning. He will come like lightning and energy and the whole earth will see him. He will be announced by the shout of God. It's the God. It's the father shout the voice of an archangel. The trumpet of God is going to announce him. He's going to raise the dead and the dead will come out of graves. He'll be received as the king of kings. He'll march up through the land, slaying the rebellious armies of the earth. The sun will be dark. The moon will stop. The stars will fall and the powers of the heaven will be shaken. Now that's a procession. He will not be missed by anybody. That is what you call a grand entrance back to the planet. This is not the stable in Bethlehem. This is a grand entrance to the human race again. And every one of those phrases are just direct sentences straight. Most of them from Jesus's own word lips. Roman numeral four. Okay. Now we're going to look at the, uh, great day, the Lord, the positive events. Well, the two big ones, the ones we're going to took the majority of the time on is, is a, the second coming in the little kingdom be the next great, a positive event on the day. The Lord is the rapture of the church. It's when Jesus changes our bodies and we're captured to meet him in the air. It's a very glorious part of the doctrine of the second coming that we get taken up and instantly transformed. That the, that when we see him, we won't see him the same time as other people on the other side of the earth, see him because there's, there's the natural room will exist, but when he gets over to our part of the planet, when we see him, we're instantaneously changed and you could read those verses number two, the rapture is not a secret event at all. It is a dramatic global event that every single human eye will see him in trumpets. Lightning, the voice of God, archangels, flaming fire, graves opening. Every single person will know Jesus is rapturing his church and the strangest idea, I don't want to get lost in this right now because I got a whole course on it because I'm studying on it so much right now. I can kind of go on a big bunny trail, but, uh, the most it's bizarre to our thinking, but it's absolutely true. It said it's because of the rapture. It's because of his grand entrance to the planet. That's why the Kings of the earth gathered together to go to war against him because they believe he is the antichrist. They believe he's a fallen angel and they believe the antichrist is the real one and that he can be defeated. Jesus can though, even though he's supernatural and was in the sky, they think they can defeat him and the battle of the Armageddon campaign is it says this, when they all marched together on Jerusalem, they're not fighting the Jews. They're fighting Jesus because they believe he can be defeated in the same way we believe the antichrist can be defeated, though he will have great signs and wonders, great power, but that does not intimidate us. The other side will have the same, uh, lack of intimidation and they will gather to go to war to kill the man they saw levitating. So they say in the sky with all these deceptive demonic signs of all these people, they say we can beat him. That's what the, uh, the, the, the, the end of the, uh, Armageddon campaign is about. It's interesting because people think the Armageddon is about communism versus capitalism or Islam versus Christianity. No, it's the nations against the man, the Jewish man in the sky who has an army coming to fight them and they know he's supernatural, but they believe he's a fraud and he's a fallen angel. They have the same paradigm we have against them. We are sure the antichrist with all of his supernatural power can be defeated. We are not intimidated by him. They will have the same mindset in reverse. It's that is the, uh, again, our paradigm is such, we think that again, when the Lord comes, it's just suddenly done and it's all over and he's whiskers away. No, he is coming as a man to take over the earth and he is going to win it in battle as well, where he's already won the, uh, the right to it on the cross and paid the price, but he's going to drive off the usurper from the land, even in a military, uh, mode, the rapture is not a secret event. The rapture is the event that creates the gathering of the nations to go to war against the Jewish man who they hear is going to land and march up the, I'm going to march up the land to it, to, uh, to go to Jerusalem. They said, what do you think about that guy in the sky? They go, that was just levitation. What do you think about all the people? It was just, it was mirages. It was levitation. It was, Hey, we can do that. I mean, that's not, that's big, but he, we can defeat him. We can't even imagine that men would think that, but it's, it's, it's clear in the scripture, they war against Jesus, not just against the truths of Jesus. They fight against him particularly because they think they can win. See, after the rapture will be the marriage supper of the lamb. When the believers are rewarded. D in the last three and a half years, there's going to be two prophets called the two witnesses. They will have tremendous signs and wonders. They will have the miracles like Moses and Elijah. I'm not saying they are Moses and Elijah because it doesn't tell us who they are, but they will have the miracles like Moses and Elijah. Some people say Enoch and Elijah. It doesn't matter to me when, when they're there going strong, there'll be no question who they are. They probably won't put it on a internet website ahead of time. They probably won't even go there. So if you find it on an internet, someone says they're two witnesses say not. Okay. E 144,000 Jewish believers. Now it's interesting. These Jewish believers are preachers, but they're prophetic singers. The most powerful company of people on the planet will be prophetic singers with the word of God burning in them. They will sing their songs for the last couple of years. Talking about I hop. Whoa. Now they won't be the only prophetic singers. There'll be millions of prophetic singers and they won't be the only people sealed, but they have a particular, uh, unusual anointing of, of a grace upon their life. F the salvation of Israel is going to happen. God's going to bring every, all of Israel. It says all of Israel will be saved. It literally means every, every single Jewish person who survives the great, the tribulation, every survivor will get saved when they see Jesus. I'd either go, we had no idea. We thought you were like a Gentile or something. We didn't know you were Jewish. They said you were, but we didn't really know G one of our great positive. If I put this on the positive side is the battle of the Armageddon campaign because Armageddon is good news. Armageddon, we win. This is, this is one of the positive events is Armageddon, not the negative events. Armageddon is the death sentence upon the evil nations who are going to war against Jesus. It's a military conflict and there will be so many millions of people. We don't know how to how many millions, millions and millions at the end of paragraph G the, the blood in Israel will be for 200 miles. There will be blood on the land flowing 200 miles. I'm sure there are different places. It's different amounts, but for 200 miles there will be, the land will be saturated in blood. That's the amount of humans and the amount of carnage, not because of a nuclear weapon, because of a battle with Jesus that he kills them. I know that's stunning, but we, we want to like, we want to like study the real Bible and love the real Jesus and understand the real end time plan, not some other little storybook that, you know, that we want to really understand what the Bible says about this. And it says this real clear, and yet it's a very odd concept to most believers. And we're going to be a part of this thing. H another great positive thing is God's judgment on the great Harlot Babylon. That's a great victory to us when the Harlot Babylon is judged and there's two different stages in which he's judged. I won't go into it right now, but it's a worldwide economic and religious system literally based in Babylon that will be restored the city on the Euphrates river. I know that sounds like an odd concept to most believers because they haven't ever studied it, but it's clear. There were two cities that would be restored in the fight in the, in the end times, Jerusalem and Babylon, because all of salvation history has been the war of two cities, Babylon and Jerusalem and Jerusalem in 1967 came into, uh, uh, you know, came out of obscurity into, uh, the hands of the, of the Jewish nation. Just in recent history, Jerusalem has emerged in Babylon. The word of God makes it clear as a city, not just as a spirit, as a city will emerge, and, uh, this is actually talking about a literal city and a global network that's related to that city. Anyway, that city will be judged. Okay. Now we're going to the negative side. We've done the positive. I've given you an overview of the eight or 10 positive events. Now we're going to look at the negative ones and most of you are familiar with them, so I can go through them pretty quick. Roman numeral six. It's not only the great day of the Lord. It's the very terrible day of the Lord. Very terrible. It's what the prophet Joel said. It didn't say terrible. He said, very terrible. If you're on the other side, Jesus said this in Matthew 24 15, when you see the abomination of desolations, when you see, when you see it standing in the holy place, the abomination of desolations is a statue. It's an idol. They're going to put it in the holy place in the temple in Jerusalem where the temple didn't even exist in Jerusalem. It's going to though. They're going to put a statue related to the antichrist and this statue is going to talk, breathe, think, legislate, and he's going to cause the nations to be people to die who don't worship Satan and the antichrist. This statue, it's a big subject. I don't want to go into right now. Most of you heard a little bit about it over the years. That's what the abomination of desolation, they put the statue in the holy place and this statue, all that's involved with the antichrist and all of his power in the worldwide network, they begin to demand the worship of Satan and the antichrist. And this statue has supernatural powers. And it's, it's, it's a very, uh, very fascinating subject in the scripture. Scripture gives quite a bit of detail on it. It's more than fascinating. It's not the right word. It's very, uh, it's a very important subject. I'll say it that way. So when the, when you see the abomination of desolation, when you see this abominable statue, that's going to create desolation everywhere, because when this statue is in place, it's an abomination to God. The statue is, and this statue will cause desolation to break out everywhere. That's why God calls it the statue, the abominable statue that brings judgment or desolation for all that participate in it. That's why it's called the abomination that leads to desolation. The abominable statue that brings the judgment, the desolating judgments of God upon the nations. Anyway, the antichrist will put this thing in the holy place. That's in the temple of Jerusalem that doesn't exist, but it's going to, it's going to verse 21. And then when that statue is in place, then verse 21, there will be a great tribulation. And we know from many passages, it will go three and a half years, but catch this. It will be a tribulation such as not been since the beginning of the world. It's going to surpass any time in history. People say, well, the back with Babylon and Nebuchadnezzar or 70 AD. No, it will far surpass World War I, World War II. It will surpass 70 AD, far beyond 70 AD. Some people think this was fulfilled in 70 AD, not, not at all. I mean, that's not exactly a true way to say it. 70 AD was a very, uh, short prophetic statement of the global great tribulation coming at the end of the age, 70 AD, a million Jews died in 70 AD. That was serious, but there's going to be a far greater desolation in the great tribulation than anything that happened in 70 AD or World War I or World War II in terms of the death toll of the human race, far beyond anything. Here's what Jesus said, verse 22. He said, unless those days were short, no flesh would be saved. He said, no human being would live when he says saved. He's talking about physically. He's talking about making it. He goes, if these, if God did not cut these days short to three and a half years, he goes, every human being would be killed. All 6 billion would die. It's far greater than anything that happened in 70 AD or any other time in history. That's what Jesus said. No flesh. It's a, it's a crisis so severe. It will threaten the population of the planet, except it's cut short. And so it won't because of that only because of that. Paragraph A, the great, it's a very terrible day, the greatest crisis in history. Now, this is the negative dimensions of the last three and a half years. I just told you the positive, the two witnesses, the 144,000, the second coming, the rapture, all these things, the great, the spirit of prophecy, the bridal paradigm, the great in gathering of souls. Now this is the negative. Now here's why in the middle of paragraph a, here's why it is the, uh, this is the reason why it is a tribulation. It's going to cause trouble because the wrath of God is going to come on people. It's going to cause trouble because the rage of Satan, the antichrist reign. That's another part. It's going to be trouble because evil men will do evil deeds to people. It's going to be trouble because creation is going to have convulsions, earthquakes and tsunamis and storms. Uh, the, the, uh, the creation will be convulsing. Humans will be raging in sin. The antichrist will have a reign of terror and God will be judging. All four of them will happen simultaneously. It is called a, the greatest time of trouble the earth has ever seen. For one group, it's trouble because God is causing them trouble. For the other group, the antichrist is causing them trouble. B the antichrist brings tribulation to the saints, but God brings tribulation to the antichrist. So tribulation is going in different directions. C there's two seasons, two, uh, particular seasons in the book of revelation and revelation six, eight, one fourth of the earth will die in a short period of time. One fourth. Could you imagine one fourth of the earth dying? 1.5 billion people in one, you know, C 1.5 billion people, a fourth of the earth, a fourth of 6 billion. I mean, that's just incomprehensible. Then it's about a year or two later, then I revelation nine 15, then another season, two big seasons, two waves hit the planet, and this time a third of the population dies based on 6 billion. It'd be another 1.5 million. If you add a fourth and then a little while later, you, you, you remove with, I mean, you take a fourth way that you take a third way later, it equals to taking a halfway. If you can simple math, I don't know if you can follow that, but it's. It's half of the human race in a short period of time. D the tribulation is going to purify God's people. The tribulation is going to break the in gathering of souls, including the salvation of Israel. The tribulation is going to vindicate the saints. It's going to expose false believers in the church. It's going to demonstrate God's power in protecting and feeding and directing the saints. It's going to punish sin and reveal God's justice. It's going to purge the earth for the millennial kingdom. So those are several reasons. You can look at those a little bit more and slower later. Many things are happening in the great tribulation. E here's the principle of God's judgment. God will use the least. This is another one of those paragraphs. I encourage you as many of you that will use this to use this paragraph. Yeah, you can change the words if you want, but use the essence of it. God uses the least severe means the great tribulation to reach the greatest number of people at the deepest level of love without violating anyone's free will, as he's training the future leaders of the planet, you, he's training you to rule and reign over cities and nations through the process. Let me say that again. He's got to use the least severe means one half of the human race dying with bowls of judgment and the antichrist. The Lord says that is the least severe to reach the greatest number at the deepest level of love without violating anyone's free will to train my future rulers of the planet. Okay. Roman numeral seven. It's a very terrible day. There's four negative trends, four major negative trends. And this day, number one, a God's judgment is coming to fullness. I've already said these four things, but I'm just going to give you some verses on them here so you can locate the verses on them. God's judgment. Here's the key word. It's coming revelation 14, 10 to full strength. We've never seen the judgment of God in full strength on the planet. It's coming in full strength. B Satan will have great rage, great wrath. We've never seen Satan manifest great rage on the planet. See man's sin is going to come to maturity. There's a number of passages. You can read them right there where the sin of the human race is going to come to it, the fullness of man's capacity to sin, the human race is going to enter into its full capacity for evil. This is incomprehensible where the planet is going, the negative side, but the great revival is going on at the same time and there's the four particular sins. The human race is going to have such demonic empowerment to walk in murder, sorcery, immorality, and theft. The four major demonic strongholds that are going to cover the planet. And we're going to be prophesying and moving in the power of the spirit. And we're not going to be dipping over into Satan's camp of darkness and then swinging around on the other side, prophesying up on the platform. We're not going to have the spirit of murder, sorcery, immorality, or theft. None of the spirit will touch us. And that will be our power to prophesy and to operate in the anointing. And the anointing will empower us to stay away from these things. And then the fullness of creation's grown. Paul said, creation is groaning. Creation is going to more than grow. It's going to go into full convulsions at the end, storms and earthquakes, et cetera. Okay. Top of page eight, Roman numeral eight. It's a very negative day. We're going to look at the negative events now. Hey, well, you already know, but I just give you a few lines on it. There's going to be an antichrist. Yes. There's the spirit of the antichrist has been operating since the early church, but I'm going to talk about the spirit of the antichrist. I'm talking that that's important. That's an important subject. It's been operating for 2000 years. I'm talking about a man. It's who Pharaoh was to Egypt. This man is to the earth. He's the evil, wicked Pharaoh of the global dimension. It'll be the final world leader who wages war against God and seeks to persecute his people, Israel and the church. He will have political, military, economic alliances. He will have a 10 nation confederation working with them. He will have the largest army, the most money, the most power of any man ever in history in the natural. He will have demonic miracles. He will have the political processes of he will be the head of the political process of many nations. We can do anything politically, make any rule he wants evil rule to benefit his reign of terror. He will use economic oppression to starve people out, to starve them into submission. You have miracles to back it up. The antichrist, he's real. He's real. A lot of people just want to write him off as figurative. It's real. But the body of Christ, we are going to triumph over him in the Holy Spirit by the blood of Jesus be. He's going to have a 10 nation confederation. There's going to be 10 nations that are in full unity with them, and they're going to bring all of their money, all of their army, all their technology, all their natural resources. 10 of them are going to join his nation. So there's going to be 10 nations coming into alliance with him. It's going to be the biggest confederation of nations unified ever in history. Back in the old days, I remember when I first began to everybody, I mean, in terms of my frame of reference in the 1970s, everybody was talking about this in 1970s. I was at university of Missouri in 1973, and we all had the end time books and people, I mean, literally there was in time fever in 73, 72, 73, 74 going across America. Lots of people were quitting college and this and that, all the books, I mean, we were, everybody was preaching it and dah, dah, dah, dah. And it kind of lifted in the eighties and nineties, but it was at a fever, high fever pitch. How many of you are in the seventies can remember that environment? It was wild. I mean, all the songs were rapture songs and all the movies, rapture movies, and we were all jazzed, you know, ready to go. And the strength of our flesh. Okay. D B and this could 10 nation confederation. We all thought it was Europe because there were 10 nations. Now there's 25 nations coming into unity in Europe. Well, the European union is one nation of the 10. It's not, it's not 25 nations in Europe or 10 in Asia. That's one of the 10. That's one unit. It's going to be the biggest power base ever in history of evil. See, there's going to be one great catalytic event, one great event. That's going to catapult the antichrist into world prominence. You know, he's going to put that statue. That's a big one. The stat, the talking statue that breathes prophesize that's big terms of the economy of evil, that, that, that's very helpful, but there's something that's more, he's going to have a head wound and the head wound is going to be healed before all the earth. And he is going to prophesy the head wound and he will get healed from it. And he will say, Jesus never died and rose from the dead. Those are just stories. No one ever saw it. You saw me die in race from the dead. That's why the nations will believe him against Jesus. Even though they see Jesus in the sky, they will think he's an imposter. This head wound that's miraculously healed because he prophesied it on the front end, the Bible prophesied it. And, uh, he will say, well, the Bible was using a cult to talk about this and he will die. He will come to life and the nations will stand in lines by the, by the billions to worship him and to sign up for, with this abomination of desolations program, taking the mark of the beast D he's going to have a very, very important helper called the false prophet. And the false prophet is going to be able to do miracles like the antichrist as well. The two of them together was Satan working in the shadows behind the scenes. It's going to be a very, very powerful combination of evil. And it's real E the abomination of desolations. Well, I've already gone through it. It's the statue in the temple Jerusalem that talks and breathes and it legislates. And it's, I believe it's a network of statues. They'll probably be a statue in every temple and every quote prayer room across the earth that will allow it, that has a, a dynamic seemingly living connection with the statue in Jerusalem and it will be evil. It'll probably have its outlets everywhere. That's, that's my, I guess you could read more about that abomination of desolation, but when you see abomination of desolation, say statue and the Jerusalem temple that brings abomination to the earth, because everybody who buys into it will start worshiping Satan and the antichrist. Now this is a, let's go to number two under, uh, E top of page nine, this statue's important and this abomination of desolation is kind of, it's kind of peripheral. And a lot of people's thinking, this is one of the biggest in time subjects, uh, in the book of revelation, John emphasizes this statue 10 times. I mean, John, I don't know if hardly anything John said 10 times in the book of revelation, but he talked about this statue 10 times. It is not a peripheral secondary strategy. The abomination of desolation, the statue in the temple after the head wound with the mark of the beast, the economic system to back it up is a very powerful evil strategy. It's very significant. F the image of the beast. That's the statue. I've said it all the mark of the beast. You got to take a mark on your hand or your forehead. When you promise to worship Satan and the antichrist with that statue, then you get to buy and sell. If you don't promise to worship that statue and its outlets all the year, you can't buy food for your family. The mark of the beast and the image of the beast and the abomination of desolation is all one reality. The Harlot Babylon, there's going to be a worldwide economic and religious system working alongside it. I'm just, I'm not going to mention that. The C another evil, but it's going to turn positive for us is the martyrdom of Christians. And another great evil is there's going to be a great falling away, a great falling away of many, many believers. I believe that, uh, the area of the earth will probably be the great, uh, greatest number to me seems undoubtedly the West will be America and throughout Western Europe, because the way people are brought into the gospel on cotton candy, Christianity, that is not real. God doesn't believe it. The demons don't believe it. The angels don't believe it. You can fill buildings with cotton candy Christianity, but it is no Christianity at all. It's not real. It's a fabrication of humanistic thinking with Jesus's name sprinkled through it. Multitudes in the West, I believe under the pressure of this regime, because they won't have a life of the spirit. They'll have no history in God. They'll have no appetite for the spirit. They will go the other way and say, you know what? Now that you mentioned it, I didn't remember Jesus. I don't know that he died. And this other guy really died. The whole world saw him and he rose in his, he came to life. Maybe I've been deceived. Multitudes will fall away. You don't have to, though a person doesn't have to, they love the truth. They connect with, with others. If people stay in clusters in groups, they pursue a hundred percent obedience. Stay in the word. The weak, the weakest, youngest believer will have the strength of God in their spirit to sustain this. Amen. We're going to end with that. Let me go ahead and have you stand.
