How to Apply the 5 Decrees of Isaiah 19
Mike Bickle

Mike Bickle (1955 - ). American evangelical pastor, author, and founder of the International House of Prayer (IHOPKC), born in Kansas City, Missouri. Converted at 15 after hearing Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach at a 1970 Fellowship of Christian Athletes conference, he pastored several St. Louis churches before founding Kansas City Fellowship in 1982, later Metro Christian Fellowship. In 1999, he launched IHOPKC, pioneering 24/7 prayer and worship, growing to 2,500 staff and including a Bible college until its closure in 2024. Bickle authored books like Passion for Jesus (1994), emphasizing intimacy with God, eschatology, and Israel’s spiritual role. Associated with the Kansas City Prophets in the 1980s, he briefly aligned with John Wimber’s Vineyard movement until 1996. Married to Diane since 1973, they have two sons. His teachings, broadcast globally, focused on prayer and prophecy but faced criticism for controversial prophetic claims. In 2023, Bickle was dismissed from IHOPKC following allegations of misconduct, leading to his withdrawal from public ministry. His influence persists through archived sermons despite ongoing debates about his legacy

Sermon Summary
Mike Bickle emphasizes the significance of Isaiah 19 in understanding God's end-time purposes for Egypt, Israel, and Assyria, highlighting their strategic roles in the unfolding of God's glory and pressure in the world. He explains that the events in these nations will serve as a precursor to the global outpouring of God's Spirit and the establishment of His kingdom, urging believers to engage in prayer and intercession for these nations. Bickle outlines five prophetic decrees from Isaiah 19 that believers are called to declare and pray into existence, emphasizing the need for a unified body of Christ to fulfill God's purposes. He stresses that the glory and pressure experienced in these nations will impact all nations, calling for a collective response to God's strategic agenda. Ultimately, Bickle encourages the church to be about the Father's business, participating in the prophetic fulfillment of God's promises.
Sermon Transcription
We thank you in the name of Jesus for this amazing and significant passage of Isaiah chapter 19. And I ask you for a spirit of revelation, a spirit of impartation, in the name of Jesus, Amen. Roman number one, why we need understanding for God's end-time purpose for the nation of Egypt. Well, it begins with this idea in Isaiah 19, which is the famous chapter about God's purpose for Egypt. There's ten verses, the final ten verses, that give significant detail about the glory and the pressure that would be upon Egypt, but we understand that that glory and pressure that is being released upon Egypt, that they're experiencing, will also be experienced in the nations of the world as well. They're at the point of the arrow, they're at the epicenter of the outpouring end of the conflict, right there in the Middle East. And what God does in that part of the world, He will do in the other parts of the earth, and the pressure that's released there gives us insight into the pressure that we will experience in the nations of the earth. And the Lord calls us to partner together, because Egypt and Assyria and Israel, three nations, are at the very point of the arrow of the glory and the pressure. It says here in Isaiah chapter 19, verse 24 and 25, in that day Israel will be one of the three, with Egypt and Assyria. Now Assyria is modern-day Iraq. It's significant that Egypt and Iraq and Israel, the Lord puts them together as each of them are one of the three. There's a group of nations called the three. They're one of three that God has set apart in the earth. And they're the three at the very center of what is on God's heart and His strategic purposes. And because they're at the center of God's strategic purpose, not that the people are more important to God, because all of God's people are equally significant to Him. But each nation has a varying prominence and strategy in terms of the establishing of God's purposes in the end times. And these three are at the very point of the arrow. And therefore they have an extra, a significant increase of warfare against them. And the Lord will release blessing on anyone that will be about the Father's business, as He reveals it in Scripture. Jesus is the one who said that in Luke chapter 2, verse 49. I don't have that on the notes. When they asked Him, this 12-year-old seemed out of place. He was in the temple teaching the Word and asking questions. He seemed out of place. And they asked Him, why are you here instead of where we would have normally expected you to be? And His answer is, don't you know I have to be about my Father's business? And the normal focus and the normal way of carrying our life is to be focused and even obsessed about our own lives in our own spheres. And nearly only our own life in our own sphere. Yes, the folks that we love, but that's part of our own life and own sphere. But the Holy Spirit is saying, would you be about the Father's business if it's bigger than your own family ministry, even your own nation? And the Holy Spirit is wooing, looking and wooing people to be about the Father's business. Because there is a strategic purpose that is going to require the whole body of Christ in unified concerts of prayer to birth this purpose. And it will be birthed. And there will be a blessing on all of those who say yes willingly and give themselves to the Father's business as revealed in the Scripture. And this is one of those very critical passages. Let's read verse 24 again. In that day Israel will be one of three, of three strategic nations separated in a class of their own. They'll be identified with Egypt and Iraq, Assyria. Syria is more than Iraq, but it's mostly Iraq. Now listen, here's a key phrase. They will be a blessing in the midst of the land. Now this New King James translation obscures the meaning of what Isaiah was prophesying, because the word land and the word earth is the identical word used some 2,000 more, something like 2,500. I forget the number, but a significant number of times the word land and earth is used in the Old Testament. I think it's 2,500. And every time it says land or earth, it's the identical same word. So in each context, the translator of any given translation, the New King James in this case, has to decide, is it a midst of the land or the midst of the earth? And I'm convinced that the right interpretation is they will be a blessing in the midst of the earth. That's what's going on. The midst of the earth. Many translations will use the word earth there. Because what's happening, and I'm getting ahead of myself, I'll tell you where we're going at the end of this teaching, is that these three nations together, when the Lord returns, will give us an insight into the initial boundary lines of the restored Garden of Eden. Let me say that again. These three nations will be at the center of the restored Garden of Eden. And what the Lord's going to do at the coming, when Jesus returns, He's going to take the keys. He's going to have an angel do it, but under His authority. And Satan is going to be locked in prison for 1,000 years. Then He's going to use the keys. He's going to call down the New Jerusalem to descend to the earth. Beloved, that takes authority to bind Satan in prison for 1,000 years and then call the New Jerusalem down. And then what's going to happen when the New Jerusalem comes down at the second coming of Christ, and you find that reference three times in the book of Revelation, what happens? It creates an open heaven over this geographic area. And the Garden of Eden conditions begin there and they spread for a thousand years until the entire earth is brought into the condition of righteousness and blessing that God originally ordained when He put Adam in the garden back in Genesis chapter 2. Now the devil does not want this to take place. He does not want this to happen and he's contesting it. He will not prevail. But neither will God do this apart from the praying church. The balance of this will be in the hands of the praying church. Now there's more prophecy about Egypt and Assyria. We're going to say now from now on Egypt and Iraq. Again, Assyria is a little bigger than Iraq. It involves some of Syria, some of Jordan, some of a southern, I mean Eastern Turkey, Eastern Turkey. But mostly it's Iraq. And there's more information in the Bible on Egypt and Iraq than any other Gentile nations in the Word of God. I would go as far to say without having done a scientific confirmation of this. There's more on these two nations than all the other Gentile nations added up together. They're that significant to God's end time purpose and they're that targeted by the devil to stop God's end time purpose. Which is none less than the restoration of the Garden of Eden at the time of the Second Coming that will fill the millennial earth. And what happens at the millennial earth? The Father's throne comes down to the earth after the earth is cleansed with fire. Paragraph B. What happens in these three nations, the glory and the pressure, we're talking before the Lord returns and after the Lord returns, but we're talking about before the Lord returns, what happens in these three nations will affect all the nations of the earth. There's a reason that gas is over four dollars a gallon right now. It has to do with these nations. It's already affecting us. There's a reason some thousands of young men and women in our military have died recently over in the Middle East. It affects the beginning of the escalation of the conflict. I don't mean just military. I'm talking about spiritual, political, economic, and I'm talking about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The Father is determined to establish His purposes in the midst of these three nations. And again Luke 2 verse 49, when Jesus said, don't you know I'm about my Father's business. He's calling people to be out of the ordinary focus like Jesus was, to be connected with something bigger than our own ministry, and our own family, and our own business. To be connected to the strategic things on His heart in the earth. And there is a corresponding blessing and a return upon the lives of the people who are about the Father's business in the global strategic sense, not only in their own individual sense, though that's a good thing as well of course. Roman numeral two. And by the way those of you that are just visiting, maybe you don't study much about the end times. I mean most believers don't, and so I understand that. And so I might cover some ground and and say some things that are so completely foreign and new. Here's what I ask you to do. Here's what I ask you to do. Take some time, read the Bible verses. One thing I tell our interns, I tell our Bible school students, if there's anything in these handouts, because we got a couple hundred of these handouts on the website on the end times, I go if there's anything you could find that's not in the Bible, we urge you, we mandate you to challenge it. We don't want blind loyalty. We want the kind of loyalty of the Scripture that challenges everything that can't be proven in the Word of God. And so we urge our Bible school students that that's what loyalty is to a ministry. Challenge it in a right spirit, but challenge it nonetheless if you're loyal to this ministry. Expose the parts that are not in the Bible that are being proclaimed as biblical. So I give you the same challenge. Go back and see if these things be so. Don't judge it by whether it's new to you or maybe your church background, because there's going to be a lot of things in the end time scenario that are new to many people and their church background. What we want to judge it by is it in the Bible. That's what we care about. And again, a lot of things I won't take time to develop, but we have several hundred of these handouts on the website with lots of verses and the unfolding of the logic and the rationale behind the verses, I mean behind the points that we make. Roman numeral two, the context for Isaiah 19, very important context, very important context. Israel's governmental leaders, the political leaders, will make a covenant with the Antichrist, receiving him as the Messiah and as their king. And this will bring such disaster to the land of Israel and to the land of Egypt and Assyria, which are neighbors. The implications are vast. Here's what Isaiah said. We'll do this brief, this one. Isaiah 28, verse 14. Hear the word of the Lord, you scornful men who rule Jerusalem. He's talking to the leaders of Jerusalem specifically. Because you've said in your heart, we've made a covenant with death and a covenant with hell, we are in agreement. And here's what they said. They admit it. This leader has supernatural powers. It's obvious to them. He has supernatural powers. And here's what their covenant said. That when the overflowing scourge comes through the land, through the Middle East and throughout the nations, it won't come to us. For we've made our lies our refuge. Then Isaiah says, let me tell you God's version of that covenant. Your covenant of death with this false, this evil man will be annulled. In other words, he'll break it. He will betray you. Your agreement or your covenant with hell will not stand. He promised to protect you when the scourge passes through the Middle East. He will not. But when the scourge passes through, you, oh leaders of Jerusalem, will be trampled down and it will be a tear for you even to hear the story of what's happening down the way. It will terrify you. That's how horrifying what you have done by making a covenant with this man. Paragraph B. We're gonna look at one other point of context and then we're gonna get right into Isaiah 19 and just give, we're gonna focus for just a moment on five different prophetic decrees in Isaiah 19. We'll get there in a minute. And how we're gonna pray them and how we're gonna participate with the Holy Spirit releasing them in that land and then believing God for the blessing to return back in our own land. It's a critical point as well for the intercessors in the end times. Paragraph B. Now Daniel prophesied of the military campaigns of the Antichrist in the end times. In Daniel 11 verse 40 to 45. The angel is giving this direct revelation to Daniel. Verse 40. At the time of the end, the king of the south shall attack him. That's the Antichrist. Egypt will attack militarily the reign of the Antichrist, his military power base. Verse 41. But he, the Antichrist, will enter the glorious land, which is Israel. He will set up one of his headquarters. I think he has several different headquarters. He will set up his headquarters, one of them in the land of Israel. And many countries shall be overthrown. Verse 42. This is negative and the natural. The land of Egypt will not escape. Egypt will be militarily, temporarily overthrown by this evil man based in Israel. Egypt will be militarily and politically occupied for a short season by this evil man. Now the prayer movement will get hot when that happens. The prayer movement won't go down. It will go up in its focus and authority and its resolve. Verse 42. The land of Egypt will not escape this overthrowing of nations. They will be occupied. But there will be pockets of resistance and pockets of liberty within the land for believers and others to operate just like at any wartime. Meaning the analogy I think of is Adolf Hitler in the 1940s when in 1940 when he occupied France there was a French resistance in constant resistance. There was all kinds of movement going on that was against the Nazi regime. I believe it will be that kind of picture. Verse 43. Now this is bad news again in the natural. The Antichrist will have power over the national finances. He's not only gonna overthrow the nation militarily and politically again occupy it. He will take control for a season. It'll be a short season over the finances. The gold and the silver and the precious things of Egypt. And I think the precious things would be more than financial. Verse 45. And the Antichrist will plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain. That's in the land of Israel. He'll be right next door to Egypt. Now for the third part of the context because you got to understand the context and the danger and the urgency to see the measure of the glory that is operating in these next verses that we're gonna be looking at Isaiah 19. Without seeing the danger and the intensity of pressure you can't really catch a picture of the measure of the glory as well as the urgency in this part of the world that the body of Christ in Egypt will be standing with in faith and in focus in prayer. Paragraph C. And of course the church in Israel and the church in Iraq as well. We're connected to all three of these nations. The prayer movement around the earth that's what I'm talking about. We need to be standing with these three in a very unique way. It says in paragraph C, half this is one of the most terrifying prophecies. Half of the city of Jerusalem will be taking taken into captivity by the Antichrist. This is a staggering concept. It's so staggering that you read it and you just well okay I got that verse. What? Beloved according to the numbers of today that would be 300,000 Jews deported against their will out of the city into prison camps. We're gonna see a season, short season, it'll be some years it won't be decades it'll be short amount of years of anti-semitism that will break out in the earth that will surpass what happened under Adolf Hitler. The greatest anti-semitism of history is about to break out upon the earth and it's about what God has planned for these these three nations in the center of the Middle East and and it is the restoration of the Garden of Eden and all that goes with the millennial earth and the second coming of Christ and all that goes with that. Anyway it's just an unthinkable. We can't get our mind around it. It's just you just read it and yeah maybe somebody underlines it and they read the next verse. It's like what on earth does this mean? It means what it says and it will affect the church in the whole earth. This truth will affect the church in America in every single neighborhood. I assure you if I had time to break it down I think I could convince some of you if you're not convinced. This one verse of the global anti-semitism that will break out before the Lord returns. It will affect every one of our lives in a very personal way. Well paragraph D let's go to that. Isaiah gives us five decrees that he begins with in that day. Isaiah 19 he gives us five. These five decrees are to be released through prayer. Now each one of these five I want you to catch this I don't have this on the notes. There is a progression of the intensity in scope of these five decrees. It starts out individual and I have this in some of the outline in the rest of the handout. But it starts out individual then it becomes regional then it becomes national then it becomes international and then it becomes global. So there's an increase of scope and intensity with each one of these five decrees. So I want you to pay attention to that as we go. But paragraph D what do we do with these five decrees? Number one it creates perseverance because we know victory is sure. If you know victory is sure you have a whole lot more perseverance than if you're unsure. Number two this is this is tough. Number two is really tough. We are required to declare these truths. Now I'm not saying every one of you today are required to go home tonight and you know go home from here and start declaring it. But under the leadership of the Holy Spirit we are required to declare these truths and they are very politically incorrect to the church and to the world. There is nowhere these truths are politically correct. The very proclamation of these truths will be as a thorn in the flesh to the anointed prophets that are mandated to proclaim them. The attack, the counter attack of the enemy for standing for these truths. I don't mean just Isaiah 19 but the truth but particularly Isaiah 19 as well that's our focus tonight. They are just politically incorrect and they will cause great trouble in the church because many people in the church have an unrenewed mind like the people in the world and they would only think like man thinks according to our comfort our present tense comfort. They go no way no way and then we're to turn these decrees into intercession as well and there is a blessing of participating with that which is strategic on God's end-time global purposes. Let's go to top of page two. Decree number one we're only gonna look at them ever so briefly. My point tonight isn't to try to give all the implications because I don't know all the implications that's one reason but I think the implications are vast. You know I could talk for a long time on this passage and I'm sure some of you could as well. You can't all I'm pointing out tonight is just the fact that these verses are here so that you'll be stirred up and you'll say Lord you know what meaneth thou this? What does this mean? What does it have to do with my life and my nation my city? And so by the Holy Spirit Lord stir Lord stir stir up in Jesus name and impart right now. Okay decree number one it's individual in scope and it is a decree that we will make a prophetic this prophetic decree I mean it's Isaiah's decree we turn it into intercession and we decree it as well over the land. It's for the fear of God and the release of His power. Verse 16 in that day Egypt now we're talking about the events leading up to the second coming of Christ and the events immediately preceding the second coming of Christ that's what in that day means in the prophetic scriptures in the Old Testaments. It's the events proceeding up leading up to the second coming and the ones right after the second coming because sometimes when you read the in that day people go is that before the Lord's coming? Is it the Lord's coming specifically or is it the events that follow afterwards? And the answer often is all three are true. You say well how can you know? Well I think with a little bit of focus and staying with it and some of it becomes pretty apparent once you get familiar with the language when it's brand new it's kind of confusing but once you get familiar you pray it a bunch it becomes pretty clear usually which of those time frames are in focus if not all three. The years just before the second coming, the second coming events themselves or the years right after. Now the way I think of the in that day passages or the time frame I think of it like a big storm like a hurricane out at sea and the hurricane is coming and the eye of the storm is the second coming itself. So as the hurricane is moving close to the shore before the eye ever gets to the shore the trees are all bending down the impact of that storm is already causing things to move and bend and things are flying around. Things are different and the eye is not even there yet. Then the eye of the storm comes right over the city that's another situation and then the eye of the storm moves on and then there's a wake in the wake of it the winds blow again in a different way and so there are events that are like the blowing of the wind before the eye of the storm the second coming the second coming itself and immediately preceding it and these events describe them and many of the in that day passages have all three time frames connected in there. And of course the other principle it's important to understand is that what the Lord releases in fullness at His coming we can believe Him to release it in part before His coming. Let me say that again what the Lord promises to release in fullness at the second coming like the full revival the full glory at the second coming whatever God promises to release in fullness at the second coming we can believe it for a partial release of it now and beloved a partial release of that glory is far beyond anything we've ever seen in history. The greatest revival ever will yet be only a partial release of that which is coming immediately after it when the Lord Himself appears in the sky. Verse 16 in that day Egypt will be afraid because of the waving of the hand of the Lord which the Lord will wave over the land and the land of Judah will be a tear to Egypt and everyone here's the individual focus who even makes mention of it the person who even says it who tells the story they hear it on the news and they simply repeat it they tremble in themselves everyone because of the counsel of the Lord that's determined to do this so what we pray for paragraph B is the release of the hand of God now the hand of God in the New Testament well Old and New Testament actually when the hand of God comes on the Saints in Acts 4 29 it's the release of signs and wonders in power when when the Apostles prayed stretch forth your hand and do signs and wonders when the hand of God comes on a rebellious nation Hebrews 12 26 I don't have the verse here that nation will shake he will shake every nation that can be shaken well every nation will be shaken so the hand of God is release of power and it's a shaking as well of the political structures and the economic structures and all the structures of the nation's Hebrews 12 26 and so what we're praying for is release of the power of God on the church and release of the shaking of God against unrighteousness that's the hand of the Lord and we're asking for the release of the fear of the Lord so that's decree number one and by the way we can use these very decrees and prayers for our own city and nation okay Roman and rule forward decree number two it moves up from individual now it's regionals there's gonna be five revival centers that are gonna break out in Egypt even before the second coming even as the Antichrist the oppressor is present in the land oppressing there will be five breakouts of power that will be renowned in the nations and the Egyptian Saints will be bold in their spirit and they won't back down at all what it says here Isaiah 19 verse 18 in that day five cities in the land of Egypt will speak the language of Canaan now most scholars agree that the language of Canaan is Hebrew and they will swear by the Lord of hosts which is Jesus now imagine in a Islamic nation a city making an oath out of their dedication to Jesus now if you don't understand Islam in the Middle East there is no city that could make an oath based on their dedication to Jesus that will create so much trouble bring that thing up about ten notches making an oath in the presence of the Antichrist oppression is far more serious than even the Islamic oppression but these people the spirit of power is breaking out in such clarity and force five different cities will be visited by the Lord and they will have a spirit of boldness they will not back down it will be renowned in the nations and I want to be praying for it I want to labor for those breakout cities right now I'm praying now in advance we've been praying a little bit for the last year so and I hop for the Lord to release his glory on these cities even now begin to prepare the Saints even right now begin to anoint the young apostles and prophets male and female old and young so we're gonna pray paragraph B for a spirit of revival and a spirit of boldness that in the midst of this kind of oppression in verse 20 we'll look at in a minute it talks about the oppression bold in the midst of the oppression so now we've gone from the individual to the regional five regional revival centers paragraph I mean Roman numeral five prophetic decree number three now we're at the national level now it's not just five regions it's the entire nation that's in focus now you'll notice four distinct stages of activity going on here and these verses these four verses this the third decree has four verses so it's the longest one described and this is it's at verse 20 that is describes the coming of the Lord himself the mighty one the deliverer the Savior comes to Egypt so there's four stages here first there's a national oppression and that creates the context for national deliverance well I guess the most significant stage is the one I understand and also you can make it in terms the background this national oppression creates the context for the national prayer movement to grow in power and authority and momentum in the Holy Spirit the oppression creates the context for the prayer movement to mature in its in its numbers and its depth of power and authority and this is what creates the context for a national deliverance then that's going to lead to a national salvation we're talking about where everyone in Egypt to get saved we're not talking about there's about 80 million people in Egypt right now nearly we're not talking about 10 million be awesome 10 million is a good beginning we're not talking about 20 million we're talking about all Egyptians being saved that's a national salvation of course that happens in context of the coming of the Lord but then it might be surprising to some that provides the opportunity for a national healing because the land only gets healed after that time at the land itself the physical land and all the social and political infrastructures in the land they need to be healed at the very center of this decree this four verse decree is a prayer movement that is prevailing in faith it's steady it's strong and it prevails so you'll notice the reference in verse 20 and again then verse 22 look at a moment of the prayer movement that is prevailing it is the vehicle God is using to shift things in Egypt related to the second coming of the Lord verse 19 will just mention a point or two because there's too much here to go into each one of these decrees deserves a you know a couple sessions of teaching just on each one of these decrees and again each one of these decrees gives us insight in what God will do in our nation as well I mean the details will be different but the measure of glory will be parallel verse 19 in that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt and a pillar at its border verse 20 this pillar will be a prophetic sign I'm adding a few words in here you can read the text I'm interpreting as I go it will be a prophetic sign and a prophetic witness of Jesus in the land of Egypt now the Lord of hosts is mentioned by the way seven times in Isaiah 19 the Lord of hosts means the of host means of the armies of heaven that's what the the word the phrase the Lord of hosts means the Lord of the armies of heaven or the captain of the armies of heaven this is a military term remember in Joshua 5 when the Lord stood before Joshua and he says you force are against us in Joshua 5 he was the captain of the armies of heaven he goes neither I'm taking over it's my army and it's my battle and Joshua bowed down and worshipped well the the captain of the armies of heaven is none other than Jesus himself obviously so verse 20 the this pillar will be a sign to Jesus in the land of Egypt can you imagine having a sign in Jesus a pillar a monument dedicated to the hour in which Jesus delivered you from the oppressor and the oppressor is the Antichrist and the spirit of Islam that's a that's a very significant pillar when it's erected now will be erected at after the second coming during the during in the early days of the Millennial Kingdom verse 20 it will be a sign and a witness to the Lord in the land of Egypt for they will here's the Egyptians the Egyptian Church they will cry to the Lord because of the oppressors now the oppressor singular is next door he's a man full of the devil the Antichrist the most demonic man that's ever lived in history but he has a network underneath him called the oppressors like Hitler in the Nazi regime had the SS he had a whole network of evil men carrying out his bidding they'll be stationed all around the world in various places some nations more than other nations anyway the Egyptians they will cry out to the Lord because of the oppressors they won't give up and give in they'll cry out see some people when the oppressors rise up in power they give up and give in the Egyptian Church will not they will take their stand and they will begin to cry out and the prayer furnaces will burn hotter than ever and it will lead to a shift in the national destiny of Egypt and again the same principles are true in our own nation they will cry out to the Lord because of the oppressor and the Lord this is the father in this case he will send them a Savior he will send them a mighty one and this mighty Savior will deliver Egypt from the oppressor and his network so the church in Egypt's praying the oppressor the oppressor the oppressors begin to mount up in power and fierceness Egypt has been overthrown it says in Daniel chapter 11 verse 40 and 41 they're overthrown they don't escape they're temporarily occupied in a military way this evil man takes over all of their economics or significant amounts of it there's pockets of resistance the prayer movement is bolstered in faith because they've got the prophetic decrees they begin to cry out overthrow send the mighty one and the father sends Jesus I mean when the second coming happens now we know Jesus ends in Jerusalem at the Mount of Olives but Jesus literally makes a personal visit to the land of Egypt this is so parallel to what happened in the days of Moses when Pharaoh was oppressing and the people of God cried out and God sent a deliverer called Moses now the Antichrist the in time Pharaoh will be oppressing the people of God Jew and Gentile in the land will be crying out to God and God will send not Moses but the greater Moses in this time he will deliver them verse 21 then Egypt the Lord will be known to Egypt then the national salvation I'm talking about all of Egypt will know the Lord after this after the wake of this there'll be a substantial revival before this we're believing God for tens of millions before this but we know that after this all of Egypt will be saved the Egyptians will know the Lord verse 22 now it's an unusual thing the Lord will strike Egypt think what you're not gonna strike the righteous he's going to dismantle all the structures of iniquity that are still present he's gonna finish the job and remove them and he'll strike but he'll heal the land which I mean healed the nation which means the land and the infrastructures and the economy and all the social infrastructures and and Egypt will return to the Lord and the Lord will be entreated by them he will even do this through the prayer movement because to be entreated means the prayer movement even the healing process will be released through the prayer movement so paragraph B we're gonna pray now Lord release a mighty prayer movement now build the house of prayer in Egypt raise up singers musicians apostolic leaders who give direction to the building of mighty houses of prayer supernatural transfer of wealth right now visit singers and musicians in the night in dreams and intercessors and call them to the house of prayer all through the land of Egypt even now ahead of time that's what we're praying here in Kansas City for Egypt I tell you this this is true the Lord says if you're gonna pray that way if you're gonna do that what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna answer you and I'm gonna return the blessing back up on your own ministry because you're about the father's business not only your own sphere I mean in the we all know the Lord cares his business is everybody in that general sense but he has very focused agendas and generations that's his business so we're asking the Lord to raise up a prayer movement okay top of page three now top of page three may be new to some of you but I again ask you just to put your seatbelt on and see if it'd be biblical check it out later and go back and read it and go huh because some of it will be different than what some are accustomed to paragraph C the timing of the national salvation of any nation whether it's Israel Egypt or any nation the national timing I mean the timing of the national salvation the set national salvation doesn't mean a big revival it means the whole nation is saved we cannot reduce national salvation to mean a revival bigger than the one before it's far bigger than any revival in history national salvation it's it's after the second coming it's after the second coming now I've said that before people go wait you can't get saved after the Lord returns I go no no you're mixing it up you can't get saved after you die the people there will be people still alive on the earth they've not died they yes they can receive Jesus they're still alive after the Lord returns the Lord doesn't return to the earth wave his hand and kill everybody I mean people are still alive and many people will come to the Lord in the wake of that we will be raptured get resurrected bodies but the a whole lot of folks that will continue on in their natural bodies and I have marriage children and continue we'll have resurrected bodies live in the New Jerusalem the New Jerusalem will descend to the earth at the time of the second coming that's where our home is that's where our treasure is in heaven but it's coming down we'll live in the New Jerusalem but we'll work on the earth but the New Jerusalem is descending down to the earth so this isn't talking about you but there will be people who were not saved when the Lord returns and they will have the opportunity to be saved again it's not the same thing as somebody who died getting a second chance after they died that these people haven't died they're physically alive and they're going wow this is intense the day is coming paragraph I say I mean Psalm 72 all the kings of the earth will be born again believers all of them this is after the second coming I'll talk about kings with natural bodies we're not talking about resurrected Saints of course they're saved we're talking about people on the earth with resurrected I mean with natural bodies and when they die then they go to be with the Lord in the New Jerusalem except however that works paragraph D now this is real familiar but I'm setting you up for something that's going to be just a little bit different for some of you the witness of the kingdom the witness of the gospel the kingdom will occur before Jesus returns we all agree with that Matthew 24 14 the gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness then the second coming so there will be a witness of the kingdom in every nation 232 nations and the missions movement is is suggesting that that could be completed in the next 20 25 years that every nation has a witness of the kingdom every single nation every tribe every there's 6,000 tribes or people groups 6,000 of them and they've got on the missions move it's got it all broken down they figure in 20 to 25 years they could have a witness in every nation so we believe that that's strong paragraph II Jesus is calling us though more than to evangelize the nations he called us to disciple the nation that's a whole different issue than evangelizing the nations a nation is not discipled because it had a big evangelistic outreach paragraph Matthew 28 Jesus said go make disciples we've been doing it for 2,000 years and there's a continuum between this age and the age to come but look at the definition of making a disciple they baptize him and then follows the Holy Spirit but verse 20 is what I want to focus on they teach that nation to observe everything Jesus taught them to command them to do so a nation is not discipled and tell every institution in that nation is obeying the commands of God the banking the education the agriculture just go through all the whole list there are no discipled nations in the earth today there's never been one in history my guess is completely there are you know just a made-up number that I could never verify my guess but it gives you a sense of it is the nations are discipled less than 1% right now counting America straight through the system I mean worldwide on an average less than 1% of the nation is discipled meaning the banking systems the political systems the penal systems the military systems are obeying Jesus I'd say less than 1% I think with a great revival I mean one far surpassing the book of Acts we may get to 10% it will seem like heaven on earth it will be like nothing ever seen in history it'll be tenfold what it is now but it will only be the beginning of the discipling a nation what has happened historically is the definition of discipling a nation has been reduced to evangelistic outreaches that's not what discipling a nation is discipling a nation is much more than the reason I'm saying this because this will make sense of these prophecies in Isaiah 19 requires more than evangelistic efforts in a nation every institution must obey all the commands of the Lord the completion of the Great Commission requires every institution of every nation to be obedient to the Word of God beloved we're not even near close to the completion of the Great Commission not even beginning to be close to it we have the greatest revival in history will go from 1% to 10% of course those are just arbitrary numbers I don't have any way to measure we are close to having a witness of the gospel in every nation but not discipling that nation that's a very different concept and the part that might be new to some of you is the equating of preaching to every nation with discipling it those are miles apart they're not even close to the preaching is only step one only the beginning the discipling of all nations will only happen in its fullness under the leadership of one qualified man on the earth his name is Jesus there is no team of leaders that will pull this off except for him it will take a thousand years after he returns to make this thing happen and all the nations will be discipled they really will under his able leadership every banking system of those people with natural bodies because they'll be getting married and having children and they'll live long lives because the lifespans will I don't go there but I mean they'll be longer than they are now just like before the in the days of Noah there the lifespans are 2 & 3 & 4 & 5 & 6 hundred years because of the devil will be in prison they'll be an open heaven the New Jerusalem's the center of the glory of God the Garden of Eden conditions will be spreading across the earth there'll be great power on the people of God etc etc etc so what happens I'll talk to people in the missions movement they'll say we're 20 years away from discipling completing the task of discipling nations what they mean is the task of giving a witness of the gospel to all nations so I go yeah isn't that exciting I said Lord you know that I know that you know that that's not exactly what this verse means they mean a witness of the gospel to all nations that's what they mean and so I want to celebrate now stop everyone and correct them and pull out a Bible teaching I go good good let's pray let's ask the Lord to complete the task and they say of the Great Commission but when I pray on the for the witness of the gospel to go to every nation and everybody's walks away happy but I tell you the Great Commission is a whole nother issue only under that able man and his leadership will the nations be discipled entirely that's what first Corinthians 15 means verse 24 then comes the end when Jesus delivers up the kingdom to the father the end of the Millennial Kingdom a thousand years Jesus takes all the kingdoms of the earth and he lays them at the father's feet verse 28 then he submits himself as a man he's fully God but as a man the Son of David he says father all the nations now have been brought under my feet and here's what I'm doing as the as the 24 elders cast their crowns they got that example from Jesus Jesus is taking all the glory of all the nations fully obedient in righteousness and he will take those nations and he will cast them as a crown his gift back to the father so that the father will be all in all that's where this thing is going then what happens after the father is all in all right here in verse 28 go down the next verse then the throne of God comes down to the earth you know when the verse says that God will tabernacle with man that's after the Millennial Kingdom on the earth it doesn't mean that God will live openly with people now he's already in heaven living openly with people with disembodied spirits waiting for their resurrected body he already lives openly with men and the heavenly state he's talking about God's throne will come down to this earth see that we're crying come Lord Jesus the Spirit of the Bride come Lord Jesus Jesus is thrown is coming down and a thousand years later under his leadership and under the prayer movement because the prayer movement will go strong and through the Millennial Kingdom we'll cry out come father and the end result is the father's throne comes down to the earth and the earth is burned with fire and purged and and it's like rinsed and cleansed in fire preparing for the father's throne and father dwells on the earth in the natural realm with the supernatural dimension of course there can you imagine the father's throne in Jerusalem not Jesus the father and the son openly in the natural with the supernatural dimension obviously fully operating and the earth won't be consumed with fire because it was under Jesus's leadership and purged by fire before the father's throne came that's what the Millennial Kingdom that's one of its main points but these three nations are at the very epicenter of the Millennial Kingdom being established the Garden of Eden conditions breaking out to all the nations so the nations could be discipled and we got a long way to go before the father's throne is on the earth we got a big task still ahead of us but we have time we live forever Roman numeral six now I realize again some of you are going like whoa I'm back on page two I don't even know what he's talking about I thought this was intimacy with God night yes typically Friday is intimacy with God but this is intimacy with God if you really really hear the heart of it I mean it's an end-time teaching but the end times and we do that every Saturday night and we've done it for some maybe six or seven years every Saturday night in times and those visiting you can tap in with the web stream we got lots of folks visiting with us now the these notes are on the web stream you can jump in and track with us if these are new ideas and you want to learn more about it we've been doing it for years every Friday and Saturday night okay prophetic decree number four in that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria and the Assyrians or Iraq again but more than Iraq but Iraq coming to Egypt and the Egyptians to Syria and this is Egyptians will serve the Assyrians there are so many points to make in every one of those phrases I mean each phrase has dynamic implications but we're just gonna be brief what's gonna happen the first thing that happens now we're going from a national salvation in Egypt we're going now to an international reconciliation of Ishmael Arabs with Arabs are going to be fully wrecking reconciled under the leadership of Jesus Egypt and Iraq we're talking about after the coming of the Lord the the sons of Ishmael will be completely unified with one another in the Holy Spirit and so there's a highway admit by the way this highways literal there's many implications to this highway there's I think it's referenced eight or nine times in the Old Testament and the end time passages this highway is not just figurative it is a real highway many details of this highway are laid out in Scripture paragraph C we pray Lord because what the Lord does in fullness at the second coming he'll do in part now we're asking yes I think it's good to ask that Iraq and Egypt would be unified politically but I think more specific is that the body of Christ in those nations would really find each other in the Holy Spirit I believe we always pray for peace among nations always and when we and that prayer is in here but the focal point is a I asked the Lord raise up apostolic and prophetic leaders of young and old male and female in Cairo and Baghdad have them find each other in Damascus in Syria in Jordan have them connect in the spirit because if the Lord's gonna join them fully at the Lord's coming we know he'll do it in part now and there's a great increase waiting to happen you pray that for them the Lord releases for reconciliation back on your own life because this is the father's business his father's business again it doesn't mean it's the only important to him it's their strategic global purposes salvation purposes in terms of it with global historic implications in our individual lives are very important but these have global historic implications in salvation history that's the father's business that Jesus was talking about it's going to top of page for coming to an end here now the fifth decree this is now global in that day Israel will be one of the three that's the verse we started with with Egypt and Assyria or Iraq they will be a blessing in the midst of the earth put the word earth there instead of land whom the Lord of hosts it's Jesus will bless these three nations he will say this about them openly before the whole earth but he's saying it in the spirit right now over them if they can hear it and that's why we need to pray and proclaim these things even ahead of time he says Egypt blessed as Egypt my people blessed as Assyria or Iraq the work of my hands blessed as Israel my inheritance my firstborn son is what that idea would mean and the firstborn son gets the double portion in biblical law but they're all blessed and America's blessed and we're all all the nations are blessed but these three are at the epicenter and again I believe these three represent the initial boundary lines of the Garden of Eden I believe that when the flood happened the rivers shifted the rivers today and the rivers in the garden I do not believe are in the exact same places the flood shifted the courses of rivers I believe at the center of the Garden of Eden my personal conviction I can't prove this but I believe there's verses that indicate that this is that I'm in the right direction I believe the epicenter of the garden was the city of Jerusalem I mean that geographic location that's where the new Jerusalem is coming down to the earth that's where Jesus is thrown will be that's where the Garden of Eden will be restored and that's where all of the earth will come under the Garden of Eden conditions from that place in other words Jesus as as the last Adam will succeed where the first Adam failed in the garden spreading it to the horse of doing the nations of the earth with it having exercising dominion of God's blessing on the horse paragraph B I believe they provide the initial boundary lines of the restored Garden of Eden and when Jesus comes at the second coming and he calls down the new Jerusalem that comes down connected to the earthly Jerusalem and during the millennial of the millennium they'll be connected the new Jerusalem won't land on the earth a 1500 mile city won't fit on the earth in that geographic area it would swap the whole of the Mediterranean Sea and the Mediterranean Seas in the Millennium so that we know it exists but it's above the city it's connected to the city Jesus's throne is in the new Jerusalem Jesus's throne is in the millennial Jerusalem it's one throne it's one what I call governmental vast glorious governmental complex the two city the two realms connected at his throne Jesus called it the throne of my glory we can't imagine how vast this governmental complex of his throne in temple are in the millennial kingdom all the new Jerusalem is connected to it but that becomes like the open heaven it becomes like a vortex of which the whole nations of the earth are being brought into the blessing of God it's an open heaven over the city of Jerusalem and it spreads out all through the earth it takes a thousand years for it to fill all the nations Jesus as the last Adam is tending the garden and exercising dominion bringing the garden conditions to the earth like the first Adam failed I look at it says in Ezekiel 36 they will say this land that was desolate has become like the Garden of Eden Ezekiel 34 I will raise up for them a garden of renowned and they shall no longer bear the shame of the Gentiles anymore these are millennial passages paragraph C it's when this open heaven the father's throne in the New Jerusalem shining down upon Jesus is thrown in the millennial Jerusalem and in the new Jerusalem Jesus is thrown is in most places it's one throne it's not two thrones I get I don't have the right term I just called it vast governmental complex it's I can't imagine it it's glorious beyond measure but the two are connected for the earth will be filled with the glory with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord now we believe for this in part now for sure but this verse is clearly after the coming of the Lord where this verse takes place literally the earth is filled the Garden of Eden conditions fill the whole earth from Jerusalem out to the ends of the earth the blessing of Abraham touches every nation as Ishmael and Isaac are unified together in that place of the earth under Jesus's leadership all nations get blessed in the full ramifications not just they are saved individually the cities are restored the nations are disciple the glory of God the wealth of nations increases and it goes forth it's in this place paragraph D where the prayer of Jesus literally happens on the earth they'll all be one you know the verse the same way the father and son are one that the world may believe now this verse is a challenge because we've got two huge challenges on this verse the level of unity is compared to the unity of the Trinity we say well the Methodist and the Baptist and the charismatics they're not quite that unified it's not really working yet obviously the level of unity is comparable to the Trinity Jesus is not exaggerating and the earth is fully evangelized I don't mean a witness to every nation fully evangelized in the wake of that glory this is in the Millennial Kingdom verse 20 the glory will be open for the whole world to see not just the Apostles because in John 17 22 he's talking about all the believers through church history they will all see the glory where he said show them the glory you've given me he's not talking about the 12 now because in verse 20 he shifted over it's the saints of all of history will see the glory this is literally going to happen not in heaven on the earth in the natural this will really take place but it's in the context of these ideas that we've been sharing paragraph II Israel's two longest-standing enemies Iraq Babylon or Syria oh by the way a Syrian Babylon are overlapping in their present-day geography in Iraq Israel's two longest-standing enemies Iraq and Egypt will be reconciled to Israel and to Jesus the one new man has come to pass in the full sense open in the natural realm what Paul said in Ephesians 3 the mystery is that Jews and Gentiles would be fully operating together as heirs of God on the earth openly this will be happening it's far more than which I greatly appreciate the small gatherings the tokens very important prophetic tokens of unity meetings this is global this is international this is the whole earth now notice real quick paragraph F let's take a moment on this what happens you know it Abraham is in Iraq right he's in the ur of the Chaldees that's Iraq modern-day Iraq so Abraham starts off he grows up in Iraq I realize that's you know a challenge to all kinds of people grows up in Iraq modern-day Iraq when the Lord calls him the first thing he says is go to a place look at verse 8 go to a place where you'll get the inheritance he leaves Iraq which is where people think the traditional Garden of Eden was and he goes over to Jerusalem he says go to the place where the inheritance is because the inheritance isn't there it's over here so Iraq so Abraham goes where Lord says don't worry I'll tell you as you get closer it doesn't have a name right I didn't have a famous name if I told you the name you wouldn't find it on the map anyway just follow me it's a city he goes over verse 10 he gets there he sees a city on down question that he sees the new Jerusalem the new Jerusalem's coming down to the millennial Jerusalem he sees the new Jerusalem I believe he's in Jerusalem he goes wow this is amazing what's going to happen Lord says Abraham I don't have the verse here Romans 4 13 he says your heir to the whole world and it starts here he's in Jerusalem your heir to the whole world I believe he's in the juice he's in Jerusalem when he sees the new Jerusalem then he meets a guy while he's in Jerusalem his name is Melchizedek he's the king of Salem that's Jerusalem so it comes up hey I'm a Gentile King I'm in Salem Lord told me to bless you and he told me to bless you he's the God who owns the whole world because the blessing I'm giving you is going to bring the whole world under your influence which is Romans 4 13 I don't have the verse there the new Jerusalem descends there I mean at the at the time of the second coming and again a second time at the end of the millennial kingdom now notice what Jesus I mean what Abraham does in Jerusalem he offers up his son in the land of Moriah that's the city of Jerusalem so he goes to Jerusalem I believe he sees the new Jerusalem he meets Melchizedek gets the blessing of world dominion he offers his son up in the city of Jerusalem I believe the Lord is clearly establishing to Abraham this is where it all comes together and at the end of natural history before the Lord returns there's going to be three nations in the in this the very tip of the arrow of this purpose in this part of the earth it's going to restore his purposes it's going to result in his son coming back and the establishing of the Garden of Eden is spreading to the ends of the earth and then at the ends of the earth I'm after a thousand years the father's throne comes down to the earth and the earth is purged with fire just before that and the father's throne comes and what we're believing God for what we're contending for when we're praying for Egypt and Iraq and Israel we're praying for the Garden of Eden the millennial kingdom and the context for the father's throne to come back to the earth beloved this is the father's business it is the father's business that we want to be about amen let's stand I realize I just gave you a like my brain is
