Sermon Summary
In this sermon, the preacher describes a vision of seeing the Son of Man, who is described as having a majestic appearance with white hair, fiery eyes, and feet like brass. The preacher emphasizes that the words coming out of the Son of Man's mouth are not love and kisses, but a sharp two-edged sword. The preacher warns against being lukewarm in one's faith and urges listeners to truly understand and accept God's message. The sermon also touches on the importance of the mother-child relationship and cautions against being deceived by false teachings.

As you see, I have some water brought to me tonight. Somebody took pity on me, I think. I do hope that I don't get so carried away I forget to drink it. It's in a max flask, but it didn't come from there, I'm sure. I want to say how blessed I've been to be among you. Of course, it isn't just the lovely warm weather that I've enjoyed. I was saying this morning, we were out for lunch, and as we were driving back, I was saying in the car, well, we've had fellowship. I hope you've discovered that that is the great way that John saw God. You understand that? John never saw God, at least he never projected into the Scriptures as a Trinity, you know, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. He thought of God as a fellowship of three beings in one person. That's what he said. Our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son. It's a marvelous statement of truth. And what a glorious thing it is to know what fellowship is. It isn't just coming together and having a meal together and drinking a cup of cold tea or whatever it is you drink. It isn't that. It's that blessed union in God. That's what fellowship is. And it's a glorious and wonderful truth. And I thought it was most wonderful upon the occasion when God showed to me who is this that says our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son. Who is the only one that can speak like that? It's the Holy Ghost. It's the Holy Ghost who has fellowship with the Father and with the Son and makes up that blessed fellowship. And so John was saying the Holy Ghost and I were one. Praise God. The Church is the product of the Holy Ghost through the virtues of Jesus and the sacrifice of Jesus. And it comes into actual life union with God the Father and God the Son. What a tremendous thing that is to understand what it's all about. Words have meanings in Scripture. Very carefully chosen by God the Holy Spirit. And we don't want to be carried away by paraphrases and all kinds of modernistic approaches to it. He helps us best who takes us back to what God said originally not giving us a modern paraphrase. And God wants to take us into these great things more and more. And I am sure that there may be some time in the future if God dares when I may come and have another taste of your sunshine. I asked Brother today whether it was time for mangoes. He said he thought it was but nobody's produced any. I thought I might get a mango when I came down here but he wasn't at all sure whether they were coming or whether they were in season or whether they'd gone. But never mind. My great disappointment when I first bit into a mango was that I found a great hard lump at the middle. I thought they were all nice all the way through but I discovered that the real purpose of fruit is to produce seed. You say you want the fruit of the Spirit. God wants the seed of the Spirit. And we were talking about that a bit last night. One of the modern wonders of men is that they can produce oranges as you say, we say oranges. But anyway, that they can produce oranges without seeds in them. People mock them up, say marvellous discovery. It's a bastard thing. God wants fruit with seed in it. I'm talking about spiritually of course. The Lord is after great truth. The reproduction of itself in mankind. What a precious thing. I'm tempted to follow that line except that God has laid on my heart a theme that I want to take with you and I want to commence in the Old Testament, please. Turning first to the second book of Chronicles. You will know as you approach this book that it is the commencement of the great reign of King Solomon. Great David's greater son. He was a wonderful man and he did many wonderful things. Cheaply I suppose we know him because he built the temple of God. That was Solomon's great purpose. His great move was to shift the impermanent to the permanent. He wanted to move that which was moveable into that which was static. In other words, until his day the children of God worshipped in a moveable tent. It was impermanent. It was here or it was there or it was somewhere else. God raised up Solomon and he made the great temple and it was permanent. It was a fixture. There was a specific center of the worship of God. A place for the house of God and it was very, very wonderful. You might have thought that Solomon was most famous for his wisdom and truly he did do some wise and marvelous things. But you know at the end of his life his wisdom slipped away from him. He did some very stupid things. But the temple he built remained permanent. He had a great father, David. And David was the most romantic figure in the old kings of Israel. Oh, everybody wanted to be a David. They didn't particularly want to be a Hezekiah or a Saul or even a Solomon. They loved David. And indeed, Jesus is never called Solomon's son. He is called David's son. And what a glorious truth it is. David was a tremendous beginner of new things in Israel. You will know that. He did things. He moved from the old traditions into the new. He did things that nobody else would ever dare to have done. I don't mean just that he went out with just a stone and sling to kill a giant. That's the famous story about David. I mean this, that he was the one who dared to put the Ark of God in a different tent from the tabernacle. He got it out of the tradition. He was the one who dared to eat the showbread, which he should have died to eat because it belonged to the priests alone. And God never smote him down. He was the one who dared to build an altar of God different from the altar that was at the tabernacle. And he got away. Amen. But that's the pattern that's set in the Bible. But he saw that biblical patterns could become mere traditions. He saw that even though it be given of God originally, I mentioned this the other night, about the great, what Paul called the Jews' religion, it was the living, vital, new revelation, the true revelation when it came, that by Paul's day he says it's the Jews' religion. That's what he said. And David did such tremendous things. Let's turn back from 2 Chronicles for a moment into 1 Chronicles and see this great and marvelous truth. It's right toward the end of David's life. For if you drop your eye on the first verse of chapter 23, as you're passing back you will see that David was old and full of days. And he made Solomon his son, king over Israel. But in chapter 21, David himself went under a very severe test from Satan. One of the tests from which he failed. Listen, at this juncture let me point out that the mistakes and failures and sins of some of the old people are not put in the Bible for you to make an excuse for making sins, for doing sins and making excuses. They're there to warn us and point us to truth. One of the things that leave me aghast at times is people who will take God's word and make things that are in this Bible an excuse for their own sinning. Like in Africa, for instance, but then they don't know, so many of them, they will have perhaps four, five, six wives. And the reason, they'll call themselves Christians, and the reason I'll give for it was, well, so-and-so had lots of wives, you know, David had a wife and some concubines, and so on. Hallelujah. The Bible is given for a different reason from that. You won't find anybody in the New Testament who had more than one wife. You'll find that very clear. You've got to know whether you're living in the Old Testament or whether you're living in the New. Alas, alas, I find too many people are living in the Old Covenant and don't know it and calling themselves Christians. The coming of Jesus Christ was to destroy all that old and finish it and start something new. You know, I know people. I'm going to be a long time tonight, so settle down and get comfortable. At least I've got that feeling about me. Why not? How many times have you been out and wasted hours of your day on pleasuring only or something like that? You know, I know plenty of people who say, Oh, I love the Old Testament. You know, they read the Old Testament stories about David and Goliath and Daniel in the lion's den and the three Hebrew children in the furnace, and I'll read the mighty things that Elijah did, and you'll have somebody making up a song, and I'll sing, Lord, send us more Elijahs. And I say, Oh no, God, we don't want any more Elijahs, please. We want more Christs. For Elijah was Christ's forerunner. John the Baptist came in the spirit and power of Elijah. He didn't come in the spirit and power of Christ. Note it. And what a tremendous thing it is. They say, Oh, I love the Old Testament. You know, it's so human. And I love the New Testament. I'll tell you why. It's so divine. They can't take the New Testament. They can take the Old, because it's got a lot of failures and sins and I don't know what. They can't live with the New. But you and I are new covenant creatures. Amen. Amen. That's tremendous. And that was all in the blood of Christ. Well, let's drop back then, shall we, to this great theme we're on. And David fell to a temptation of Satan. He fell to head-counting. You know, there are lots of people like that. I want to say how many members they got. Head-counting. They can't see it's a subtle temptation of the devil. It seems a common-sense way of saying, Well, we had a hundred people in tonight. We had a thousand people in last night. It doesn't half-pander to the flesh. You can't see the temptation of the devil in it. But anyway, he got through it all. Bless him. He was a great man of God. And he got through it all when he went to the threshing floor of Ornan, the Jebusite. And there the angel of God came, sword in his hand. He was going to destroy Jerusalem. And one man's sin, Mark Hill, can destroy a city. When you see the spiritual power of sin, and what sinning does, and also see the spiritual power of holiness and righteousness, and what that can do. Amen. Well, the angel was there, and David wanted to build the altar at the threshing floor. Here we go. Verse 21. David came to Ornan. Ornan looked and saw David. I'm at the end of chapter 21, starting in verse 21. And went out of his threshing floor, and bowed himself to David with his face to the ground. Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this threshing floor, that I may build an altar therein unto the Lord. Thou should grant it me for the full price, that the plague may be stayed from the people. And Ornan said unto David, Take it to thee, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes. And there was a tremendous step for Ornan. He knew as well as David did, that Israel was supposed to sacrifice at the brazen altar, and build no other altars. None. To sin. In the beginning, when the people who lived on the wrong side of Jordan, couldn't get out to Jerusalem, they built an altar of witness, and they called it Ed. And the rest of Israel were going to wipe out, they were going to slay the rest of those two and a half tribes, that dwelt on the wrong side of Jordan. Because they had dared to erect another altar. And here is David saying, I'm going to build another altar. And Ornan, oh, he didn't know whether he ought to be in it, wash his hands of it, or what he ought to do. But David was the king. And this is what he said, I give thee the oxen also for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the meat offering. I give it all. And King David said to Ornan, Nay, but I will verily buy it for the full price. For I will not take that which is thine, for the Lord, nor offer burnt offerings without cost. So David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred shekels of gold by weight. And David built there an altar unto the Lord, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called upon the Lord. And he answered him from heaven by fire upon the altar a burnt offering. And the Lord commanded the angel, and he put up his sword again into the sheath thereof. At that time when David saw that the Lord had answered him in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite, then he sacrificed there for the tabernacle of the Lord, which Moses made in the wilderness. And the altar of burnt offering were at that season in the high place at Gibeon. All the way through David had known that these high places were the places where the heathen used to build their altars in Canaan. And he'd never been quite comfortable about that. David could not go before it to inquire of God, for he was afraid because of the sword of the angel of the Lord. Then David said, This, and I do beseech you not to stop your reading because the chapter says end. It murders the truth often, chapter division. Then David said, This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar of the burnt offering for Israel. Hallelujah. What a man. He moved the ark and put it in a tent that he made without all the elaboration of all that stood in the old tent of Moses. He ate the bread of the priest when he was not a priest. This man, no wonder he said, I'd rather be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord than dwell in the tents of wickedness. If only he could see the priests in operation. He knew that it was greater to be a priest than a king. Take that into your heart, son. Greater to be a priest than a king. You understand that? In ancient Israel, when the priesthood was established, the only man that wore a crown was the high priest. No one else. No one else. Amen. This man was a tremendous man. He established another altar. He saw something. He was a man who immediately repented. Let you and me understand this clearly. And understand what can happen in any heart in this room tonight. Immediately he repented of his sin, which arose from pride. And may I remind you that that was the first great sin. It was the sin of Lucifer. Pride is worse than adultery. Pride is worse than murder. Pride is worse than fornication. Pride is worse than lying. Pride is worse than anything. It was the sin of Lucifer. He exalted or wanted to exalt himself up. Hallelujah. And God thrust him down. Yes. And David's sin had come from pride. Are you proud of yourself? Are you proud of your figure? Proud of your face? Proud of this? Proud of that? Proud of your possessions? Are you? You're a sinner to the core of you. And you're a deceived sinner too. And don't know you are. But immediately you repent of your sin. You can be in the Holy Ghost by the grace of God. For this man stood there on poor man's fleshing floor. And he says, this is the altar. For he was standing on the precise spot where Abraham, his father in the face, had built an altar. He was standing on the precise spot. It was Mount Moriah where the father had taken the son and had put him on the altar. And then they got the knife above him to slay him. The God. When the angel of the Lord said, Stop! Amen. And they found the lamb, the ram, caught with his horns in the thicket. And he was put there and in a figure. The father received the son Isaac back from the dead. And David sensed it. He knew he was there. This is the altar of the Lord, he said. This is the altar of the Lord. It was a place for burning. And it's that which I want to talk to you about tonight. I want to ask you. Are you burning for God? Now listen. It's not possible for you to live in this world but that you're burning for something. You're burning with something. You're burning in something. Let me show you what I mean. Keeping your finger in the second book of Chronicles. Turn with me into the Roman letter. And in the letter to the Romans and in chapter one. Not one of the nicest sections of scripture but one of the truest. And as you come toward the end of the chapter you read about people who did not glorify God. Chapter one, verse twenty-two. Even when they knew God they did not glorify Him as God. Now you see. You see the significance of this. They knew God. Do you know God? They're asking you whether you know about Him. Do you glorify God? I don't mean stand up and sing glory, glory, glory and you think that's glorifying God. That's a lot of nonsense. Glorification is something you do not something you sing. They wouldn't glorify God as God it says. They weren't even thankful. They became vain in their imaginations and their foolish heart was darkened professing themselves to be wise. They became fools and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like a corruptible man and to birds and four-footed beasts and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts to dishonor their own bodies between themselves who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator who is blessed forever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections for even their women did change the natural use unto that which is against nature and likewise also the men leaving the natural use of the woman burned there it is burned in their lusts one toward another and then they talk about the gay people burning in lust one toward another. When I went down to San Francisco some years ago someone said to me this is the gay capital of the world the miserable Sodom sinners that's right no such thing as a gay Christian you're the most miserable creatures you ever did meet listen God didn't burn Sodom and Gomorrah because they had some psychological problem he burned them because they were sinners you read your bible you listen to these psychologists even when they speak from pulpits they're liars every one of them they don't even read the bible and believe it do you? burning you're burning for something son you're burning for something woman for someone you're burning you're burning hot may I tell you beloved that life can only exist in heat did you know that? if you sat there in your seats now you had room and you just put one leg over another I got this from my doctor friends you go to consult a proper doctor and you sit down in front of him where he can see you and he may tell you to cross your legs and you know why? he'll watch the tip of your toe and he'll tell your basic metabolic rate from it as it moves now of course you'll sit there well I'll keep mine rigid but when you're not thinking alright and he can tell your basic metabolic rate now the metabolic rate in the human body is a process of breaking down and burning up and that's the way you live take the heat out of your body and you're dead you feel a dead person they're cold you're only on this globe because there's a fire at the center of it that keeps it habitable life doesn't consist in heat that's all you're a fireman you're a firewoman and when the fire gets a bit too hot physically you're in fever and you're going to die unless something's done about it so you see the lake of fire is quite consistent it's quite sensible in fact in my bible our God according to the writers of the Hebrews is a consuming fire and Isaiah asks the question and who should dwell with the everlasting burnings you remember you're going to go and live with everlasting burnings alright you keep that clear and if you can't live with that everlasting burning now you'll go to hell to the other everlasting burning called Gehenna or the lake of fire you've got to live in fire somewhere somehow to someone for some reason I told you last night how that I was taken across to the to Palm Beach I don't know whether I should call it West Palm Beach or East Palm Beach or just Palm Beach or what it is but never mind I'm only an Englishman you people know and while we were there I was just rejoicing in the sort of lovely sunshine and brother said to me he said we're kept a bit cool here because of the Gulf Stream he said it runs a mile offshore and the winds created by the heat of course and the other cold currents it sets up movement of air which has only wind air in motion alright and it comes over onto your beach here and you can lie there and not fry even when you try and get your skin rubbed you see and I said but we like the Gulf Stream for another reason you think of this mighty miracle of God it starts here we're very grateful to you it starts in the Gulf and it comes round there and it moves right up across that mighty ocean and it keeps our little British Isles from freezing up did you know that? oh good that's something we know in common Amen we don't get ice bound ports we don't get anything like that because of the water you supply well if you think you do but here it is it comes up there it's a miracle isn't it? it's the heat yes I would have been born in an igloo it's a wonderful thing beloved you've got to be on fire keep that absolutely clear and I want to tell you whoever you are you are on fire for something but you're used to the fire that has been you and you've been living in it so you don't think it is fire but you do in the days when you rage and your blood boils in you you know something stoked it up they say the adrenaline flows yeah you did when you were lusting after some woman's flesh or lusting after some man's flesh you knew you were fire then you know it when you lie in your bed and burn you know it now listen God ordained it all in fire they tell me that that sun that's in the sky they say that the flames leap from it about a mile from its circumference they leap up and it's what keeps this old earth of ours habitable yes and so I want to turn you then with this thought in mind to this second book of Chronicles what an impression that great man David had on his son Solomon what a tremendous impression David prepared with all his might for the temple he wanted to build it he saw that the end of the of the tabernacle it was all over the tabernacle era the great truths of it were not going to be lost but the form of truth was going to be swallowed up in the greater thing he saw it you know he planned the temple and if any of you have any trouble with people who say that the Bible is not the inspired word of God and you wonder sometimes how it could be the inspired word of God and you play about with so many translations and I don't know this that and the other of it and you don't quite know where you are if you read how David received the plans of the temple you will know he said all this God made me know in writing by his hand upon me that's right the hand of God was on him and when he wrote it was the hand of God writing you're not asked to find out about inspiration this good book this book was God breathed in the beginning in its original when it was given I don't want too many men fiddling about with it here is the tremendous truth and David wanted to build the temple God wouldn't let him and you know why do you know why and you better take this into your heart all you men and women God wouldn't let him build the temple because he'd been a soldier you're a man of blood he said because he'd been in the army and led the army and was the great champion the great fighting man God said then you can't build my temple you take that right to heart every one of you and understand it he couldn't have this great desire God said it's good that it's in your heart David but you're not going to do it I'm not going to have hands that have killed others build my temple I didn't write the Bible it's here if you read it I believe it do you do or don't you you don't say you don't that's the trouble but what are you going to do about it your knowledge will bring your own blood upon your own heads if you're not careful you've got to move in the revelation of God Amen and so Solomon that mild pacific king that's nothing to do with your ocean pacific means peace I don't know whether that ocean is an ocean of peace that great man of God Solomon came on the scene and he got something from his old dad bless him let's start Solomon chapter 1 verse 1 Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom and the Lord his God was with him and magnified him exceedingly then Solomon spake unto all Israel to the captains of thousands and of hundreds and to the judges and to every governor in all Israel the chief of the fathers so Solomon and all the congregation with him went to the high place that was at Gibeon and there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God which Moses the servant of the Lord had made in the wilderness but the ark of God had David brought up from Kerjath-Jerim to the place which David had prepared for it for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem moreover the brazen altar that Bezalel the son of Uri the son of her had made he put before the tabernacle of the Lord and Solomon and the congregation sought unto it and Solomon went up visited the brazen altar before the Lord which was at the tabernacle of the congregation offered a thousand burnt offerings upon it and there's your introduction to this great man of God he got the secret the secret was burning you may not have thought so but it was he found it blessed be the name of the Lord burning and from there I'd like to stop on more of the detail we'll go into chapter 2 and in the second chapter verse 1 Solomon determined to build a house for the name of the Lord and a house for his kingdom that is Solomon's kingdom and Solomon told out three score and ten thousand men to bear burdens and four score thousand to hew in the mountain and three thousand and six hundred to oversee them and Solomon sent to Huram and so we could well let's read it anyway it's only one more verse he sent to Huram the king of Tyre saying as thou didst deal with David my father and didst send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein even so deal with me the whole now listen to him I build a house to the name of the Lord my God to dedicate to him and to burn before him sweet incense and for the continual showbread which I want to point out had been through the fire and for burnt offerings morning and evening on the sabbaths and on the new moons and on the solemn feasts of the Lord our God this is an ordinance forever to Israel and the house which I build is great for great is our God above all gods and who is able to build him an house seeing the heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain him who am I then that I should build him an house save only to burn sacrifice before him the only reason for building the house of God which was to be a house for his name was to burn that's all that was his purpose that was the first purpose it wasn't to go there to worship primarily it wasn't to go there to sing songs primarily it wasn't to go there to have the law taught them for the priests taught the law as you will know it wasn't for that it was to burn Amen would God you'd seen this would God you'd understood this would God the whole church understood this it wasn't to sing you don't come here just to sing hymns you don't come here just to worship if you don't come here to burn and burn unto God you're wasting your time you understand that let this great man Solomon teach you Hallelujah because you can't help burning for something you've got to burn now here then is the great and wonderful truth I only want this temple Lord that I should come here to burn oh my to build the temple of the Lord he'd seen something he'd seen into this great secret and when Solomon began to build the house look at chapter 3 Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in Mount Moriah Abraham had offered his son in Jerusalem so far as God was concerned and when David this will give you a clue to the reading of the Psalms and this great man David excuse me when he said let's go to Jerusalem let's walk about Zion let's market bullets let's do this and when they count up the names of your elect count that this man was born there that's what David said but he was born in Bethlehem at Judea what did he mean he saw into the great spiritual Jerusalem that's where Abraham and Isaac acted I know it was a hill called Moriah I know there was no city called Jerusalem there and he saw into it that's what Jesus said your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day and he saw it and was glad you're not 50 years old you're greater now and my father Abraham he said before Abraham was I was I am he said and I want to tell you before Jerusalem was on this earth there was a Jerusalem in heaven and every man or woman that's the only man or woman on this earth that has a right to call himself a Christian is the one that's been born from the Jerusalem above onto this earth nobody else is only those who are born of God in the manner I was speaking last night from the seed of God Jerusalem which is above is the mother of us all says Paul and you're to be born of the Holy Ghost that came on Mother Mary for the physical birth of Jesus and you're to the Holy Ghost has to come on you and all this nonsense about the Holy Ghost only comes on you after you're saved and all that nonsense it's come out of the pit that teaching it's not come from heaven you have to get born of God by the Holy Ghost coming on you Alleluia and your life on this earth is cut off and all that you've lusted and burned and sinned after before is cut off by the cross and you're slain dead and then you're born from God onto this earth again and you have resurrection life that's the truth that so called Christianity is so marred and played around with and obscured it that nobody knows the truth anymore much what a marvellous thing it is I only want to build this temple to burn to burn and if you think you're going to be in that heavenly temple and you're not going to burn you'll be deceived under God and the whole coming of the Holy Ghost is to teach you how to burn down here burn under God where you used to burn after sin and burn after some woman or burn after some man or burn in your temper that's right Oh glory be to God this is the whole revelation of the book Amen Amen He said that's all I'm building it for if we had gone on I learned a lesson from my old dad you know when he came to Moriah when he came to Moriah he sensed in the spirit that he was at the place of the sacrifice the death and the resurrection in figure he was standing on the sacred spot he was standing there the place where God had foreordained before the foundation of the world no wonder the great prophets of old used to say that when God divided the nations he divided and kept Israel for his people and he said I've had my eye on that from the beginning of the year to the end of the year you're to go there and you're to go out to Jerusalem Hallelujah and that's eventually where the temple was built and David was going to build it and David and God said no no hands off hands off David hands off we're going to have the man of peace the prince of peace who later became the king of peace even Solomon for Solomon was the prince of peace and he built the temple Hallelujah I'd like you to turn over with me into chapter five you know I want to encourage you people if nothing else comes out of this week I want to encourage you people to be Bible readers if you just keep reading this Bible in the power of the spirit you'll know it all not that the written word is the word but you've got to read the written word and sometimes I say oh this Bible is so wonderful it lives that if I didn't love and worship Jesus I'd be an idolater I'd worship this book it's all in here Amen what a tremendous thing we come into chapter five the temple is being built throughout chapter four and would you believe it David the great innovator had even changed things of the outlay of the tabernacle he changed them and you remember there was no sea in the tabernacle but Solomon built a great big sea it was what Paul would have referred to in the New Testament as the labor of regeneration there were ten other labors where they sort of washed them in and all the priests after that washed not in the labor where they did in Moses day they washed in the sea it would tell you if you read it they washed in this great sea Amen it was born on the backs of these twelve oxen and you know that the oxen was the great burnt offering to God and in a figure it speaks of Christ that the labor or great sea of regeneration was upon him Amen and the priest all had to be bathed in that and constantly keep clean in the labor of regeneration Amen that was new David was a man of newness Hallelujah and so was Solomon in this sense and then in chapter five you find that this great man Solomon he commands the people and they have to bring up the Ark of the Covenant into the temple that's what they had to do it was all divided it was all split up the tabernacle was one place the altar was there the Ark was somewhere else because of divisions and fightings and misunderstandings and sins the original pattern had all been lost and God had them all brought together in the great temple of God Amen and we're told this that they not only brought up the Ark verse five they brought up the tabernacle too and they brought up all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle all these all that old tabernacle that impermanent structure was brought up and put in the permanent structure in this great temple of God that's where it was all put the Ark was put in the Ark's place just where they stowed the old bits of skin and things that comprised the tabernacle tentage didn't matter so much we're not told it was unimportant the important thing was the Ark and it was put in the holiest place of all Amen and you know what happened at least I trust to do in verse eleven it came to pass when the priests were come out of the holy place they'd gone in to put the Ark there and then comes this great parenthesis it's a very important one all the priests that were present were sanctified remember what we were talking about last night holy, holy, holy they were all sanctified they did not then wait by course they didn't do spells of duty they all were there all the time it was David who started the shift idea giving them spells of duty simply because Israel had multiplied such vast numbers and so had the priests but here is the great thing the Levites which were the singers all of them of Asaph of Haman of Geduthan with their sons and their brethren being arrayed in white linen having cymbals and psalteries and harp stood at the east end of the altar and with them a hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets and it came to pass as the trumpeters and singers were as one to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music and praised the Lord saying for he is good for his mercy endureth forever that then the house was filled with a cloud even the house of the Lord so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God Amen Amen must be wonderful when Jesus was on earth quoting John 1 14 alright where it tells us that the word remember what I was saying last night the seed the word was made flesh and tabernacled among us is the Greek word when Jesus was on the earth he was God in a human tabernacle an impermanent building alright he died on the cross he rose from the dead and that tabernacle that flesh that in was taken up bodily this is the importance of the ascension it was taken up into the heavenly temple Amen Glory the tabernacle was taken up into the temple just like it has here has it here blessed book blessed truth blessed inspiration blessed thing from which God can never depart Amen Amen and why did I draw your attention to that 120 you've heard that name that number before haven't you haven't you heard of that number 120 before 120 on the day of Pentecost and the glory came when there was one you know I often think probably the greatest ghost who has fellowship with probably the greatest miracle one of the greatest miracles of the day of Pentecost was that you could get 120 people of one accord in one mind in one place boy have you really done something if you can get 120 people together in one place of one accord sometimes it's a job to get two like that but they were there Hallelujah they were the reception committee for the Holy Ghost that's why the Lord said you tarry here blessed be the name of the Lord and I want to tell you something they didn't know that the Holy Ghost was coming on the day of Pentecost Jesus never said that he said you just keep praying there and they stopped there and they prayed one day two days three days four days five days six days seven days eight days you think they said when's he coming when's he coming nine days you think he'll come today the tenth day and he came Hallelujah he came and the church was born on earth Hallelujah and the fire came and they burned under God and they burned so effectively that three thousand souls got saved that day oh praise God Hallelujah it was wonderful wonderful and I'm so thrilled that Jesus didn't tell them now just wait ten days and he's coming you see but it didn't come in prayer the church of God was born on the earth Hallelujah in glory Amen it's so wonderful ever had an experience like that have you listen when Jesus Christ came he came a little baby thing they could put him in a manger nobody much knew about it few shepherds out on the plains some wise men were still jogging across the desert if you've ever seen or bought Christmas cards with three men leading camels going into the stable you want to tear them up it's a lie I said last night we suffered at the hands of these painters and artists it's a complete lie it isn't it isn't true listen if the star had led those men across the desert it wouldn't have gone to Herod's palace God knew his son wasn't born they divined something this will show you how near astrology can come to truth but not be true and if you've messed around in the area of astrology by planets and the star and sign you were born under and let that purged out of your soul you'll go to hell people have seen that they followed the star across the desert are out of their heads they've never read the bible properly they went to the palace because they read something into the appearance of the star and they thought well if he's going to be a king he's going to be born in the palace so they went to the palace and Herod said nobody here like that nature and they thought well we don't know we've lost you see but when they got outside the star appeared then and they only followed the star from the palace to the house now not the manger the house where Jesus lay and it stood over the house the others they devised or divined by some powers extra human but developed through the human so don't you buy those rubbishy Christmas cards anymore they're not true would God we read our bibles the whole church is absolutely gullible because they don't know the truth and Jesus said it's the truth that will set you free nothing else will bless him well glory be to God that precious Jesus when he came he filled a little manger nobody knew anything about it Herod didn't know anything about it they didn't see but listen when the Holy Ghost came he filled Jerusalem when the Holy Ghost came he filled Jerusalem that's what they said you filled Jerusalem that's what they told them the enemies hmm he hasn't only come to fill you son he's come to fill your town he's come to fill your neighbor's houses as well as your own what are you doing about it he's come to fill the world blessed the precious Holy Ghost came hallelujah and on that great day back there the hundred and twenty were there ha ha hallelujah and they were playing and singing and they were all at one and suddenly the precious glory came it permeated the holy place it permeated every nook and cranny of the temple until they were flat on their faces and the priests couldn't do anything and they were filled with the glory of God have you ever been so full of the glory of God that you either lay on the floor or something and you should have fallen on it have you ever been so full of the glory of God when you burst or have you just said oh I can speak in a few tongues blah blah blah and someone said now say this after me what nonsense what an insult to God what filth out of the pit from so called ministers hmm getting paid huge sums for it too here is the tremendous thing it seems to me sometimes the bigger lie you can tell the more money you'll get for it I don't say everyone does but what I mean by this we send our kids to universities you've probably been there yourself and you'll stand there before professors and lecturers and they're being paid fabulous sums of money to tell you lies and the better they can tell it the higher they'll get and the bigger chair they'll occupy and the more money they'll get tell them the lie better and you'll get paid better for it that's the system we're in what a glorious thing to come down to God's glorious word you know when that great man of God decided he was going to translate this Bible out of the Hebrew and the Greek I'm going back in our old English history now one of the things he said was this that by the grace of God he'd make the Bible as plain to the boy that followed the plow as the king upon his throne and that's what he did bless the name of the Lord we've got the written truth in our hands and I charge you every one of you that you're to read it yourselves how dare you say you're filled with the spirit of God if you don't long for the things that the spirit of God wrote how dare you say so Amen what a glorious thing we have beloved this precious truth of God the glory came and it was marvelous absolutely marvelous and you would have thought ooh praise God but it wasn't good enough for Solomon he wasn't going to get lost in just glory times he thought that that wouldn't even remain unless they got the next thing going and you read down into the next chapter and you find what Solomon says and in verse 12 it says he's standing before the altar of the Lord in the presence of all the congregation of Israel and he spread forth his hands for Solomon had made a brazen scaffold that's a good place for every man of the flesh to be on the scaffold you don't use scaffold you use electric chairs but in our country we used to use a scaffold and hang them on it that's the best place for diseased and rotten flesh and he was on the scaffold Amen and he's beside the altar he's on his knees his hands are spread out to God he says some tremendous things he prays a mighty prayer he can hardly believe what's happened he says in verse 18 will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth behold the heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee how much less this house which I have built he could scarcely believe that God had come it was so wonderful though he'd been overpowered with the glory and he said hallelujah come on let's do this and go to this old dance you know and all this business that you get saved and buy a pair of dancing shoes and a tambourine and that's supposed to then mean that you've really got it that's the fantasy into which the church has gone in these days it's not wrong for you to dance I've done some hopping skipping and jumping in the time don't misunderstand me I've not only been flat on my face I've sometimes leapt like a heart on the mountain Amen but yeah all right let's go on I mustn't sort that too much here's the great truth he can scarce believe it and he makes this great prayer and he finishes his prayer like this verse 41 now therefore arise O Lord God into thy resting place thou and the ark of thy strength let thy priests O Lord God be clothed with salvation and let thy saints rejoice in goodness O Lord God turn not away the face of thine anointed remember the mercies of David thy son boy he had to have some mercy from God when he went and took the priest's showbread and ate it when he went and took that ark and put it somewhere else when he started to move on brave man and he was God gave him mercy when he built another altar and dared sacrifice there but he was moving in the newness of truth that was coming bless him oh he had the mercies of David and now listen when Solomon again I warn you not to stop at the end of chapters you'll miss it say amen when you come to the end of a chapter now when Solomon had made an end of praying the fire came down from heaven that's what he was after he didn't just want the glory in the temple he wanted the fire on the altar listen I don't care what experience you've had when you said you've been glorified baptised in the spirit of he'll not stay with you unless you're burning to God that's what the Holy Ghost comes for why do you think that in the beginning they saw as it were flames of fire sitting on every head why do you think so for that I'd like to tell you something when Jesus Christ was crucified hung on that cross outside the city wall where the thieves were where the lepers were kept where the wild beasts were outside the gate see that's where they crucified Jesus when he yielded up his spirit and they discovered that he was dead at least his body was you know what they would have done if it hadn't been for Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus they would have taken his body down from the cross and they would have burned it in the valley of the son of Hinnom where they burned all their rubbish they would have burned him as rubbish but God foresaw them hallelujah he had a Joseph of Arimathea there he had a Nicodemus there they would have burned him he would have finished up burning in his body keep it clear the fire didn't come on his body but yes it did it came on the day of Pentecost the fire came he had to be burning unto God but forever burning in the spirit unto God hallelujah that's why the fire came the fire had to come on the body as Jesus said every sacrifice must be salted with salt and you shall be salted with fire and the salt is the salt of the covenant and you're not in the covenant with God unless you've been salted by the fire of the Holy Ghost you may dream about being a believer you don't get saved because you believe you get saved because of what God does when you believe you don't get saved by believing you're saved by grace through faith it's what God does not what you do you'll have no credit for being saved oh wasn't that wonderful she had mighty faith you don't get saved by faith you don't get healed by faith healing, you're healed by grace not by faith you have to have faith to allow the grace to operate you don't get healed by faith and if anybody's told you that and if you have magazines that tell you so you want to burn them and don't have the magazines anymore a little leaven leathers a whole month a lump you'll be thinking it you've got to get it out America's got to know the truth America's been the home of one of the greatest deceptions that's ever swept across this earth and not come here and throw stones but it's true yeah it's right all the false gods have come from America I was astounded my precious brothers and sisters suffer me if I don't come again well let me say it all now that's right I was astounded the first time I went down to California that was several years ago brother Fred was with me my brother said to me he said you know where all these terrible movements have started don't you I said no I don't know they started in the Hollywood Los Angeles area and they went up this east coast the Jesus movement for instance the Jesus only all this Mormonism started here Jehovah's Witnesses all started here in your country you are a people now you've got to watch it that are easily swept away you are by temperament that's right every nation has its characteristics did you know that listen to what Paul said the Cretes now here's the national characteristic the Cretes were always liars and slow bellies and he warned Titus about it the national characteristics read your New Testament we have a lot of stupid characteristics too we English people perhaps you don't like me for saying what I'm saying but I'm preaching because it pleases God as Paul says not because it pleases people I hope it does please you because it's the truth and if you read this book it's indisputable truth but if you read in your own likes and dislikes you'll always get lies here then is the tremendous power of it this man knew it wasn't any good just having glory in there everyone said well we got the glory we got the glory he said how about this altar how about this altar how about this altar he'd already prepared it he'd got the offerings on the altar he'd got to have fire on that altar and he finished praying like he prayed and the fire came down on the altar amen it was consumed our God is a consuming fire our God wants to burn you up if there's one testimony to this if you could have followed the trail of the children of Israel from Egypt to when they finally got to the promised land you would have followed a trail of ashes where they stayed and pitched their tabernacle and burned unto God and burned unto God this sacrifice that sacrifice incense everything in the tabernacle in the temple was fire except the labor and the labor itself was fashioned in fire by beating it out it was soft just warmed it couldn't be just being gold it couldn't be put through the test that the brass or whatever it was was put through amen when you went in the gate it was the altar you went inside missing the labor as you went inside you saw another fire it was called the seven branch candlestick and it was oil being consumed into light and you looked on the right hand and there was the table of showbread that had all been made it had passed through the fire and you looked on the left hand and sorry you looked straight ahead and there was the altar of incense and that was fire too and the God of fire dwelt inside on the mercy your fire and a pillar of fire that changed into a pillar of cloud by day stood above him it was all fire Israel never got cold on the chill nights of the desert because God had his own central heating system working for them burning over the mercy they never got too hot in the day for God spread his cloud like an umbrella over the top of them oh merciful God wonderful Lord amen so the fire never got too hot they could stand it it was marvelous when God started it all he called a man named Moses he was keeping his father-in-law's flock in the back side of the desert and you know what God did? he didn't call him he came down and burned in a bush a fire in a bush Moses saw it he said I'm going to see what this is he went over to it and lo and behold the bush was not consumed and God said take the shoes off your feet the place where you're standing is holy ground and he did this and God was there burning in the bush and he started to talk to him and you know what he was doing? he was showing Moses what he was going to do with him Moses for me that's what he was doing for a man you'll see this fire woman your pale, cold, lukewarm stuff will bring you to the place where he'll spew you out of his mouth in the end come on guys do you understand? do you understand? God get it into your heart you little children you listen too you're not too young I know a little kitty she was only three my wife taught her in the primaries I don't understand why you say primary and yet you say primarily but there it is she's in the primaries my wife was teaching them one day little tots she's teaching them about new birth what three year olds? yeah no sin much in a three year old heart no opposition there and a little a little kitty she said I've been born again so my wife I must confess was very surprised she said I've been born again oh says my wife tell us all about it will you she said Jesus came to me when I was in bed in my room and he wanted to come into my heart she said and I let him come in and I'm born again and it wasn't so long before she was sitting beside her parents in the church and speaking in tongues and worshipping God three years old see God's got no opposition to overcoming a child's heart none at all it's a thing of spirit not of mind it's a thing of I believe oh bless God we've got a great God beloved we've got a surprising God we've got a God that's not bound by denominational ideas and interpretations marvellous you've got to burn beloved for God are you come on tell me honest be honest if you don't come honest you'll damn your souls are you burning don't tell me oh I've had an experience of God I know they've had an experience of God the glory was in the temple I want the fire unless the glory will depart and you notice that when the fire came they had a second visitation of glory the glory came again in the temple when the fire came if you want to know that glory again if you've lost it you've got to get burning for God you've been burning for the world burning for your business burning for your family burning with zeal burning with lust burning with desire now you've got to get all that burning for God let me take you another step further I promised you I'd be a long time and we won't have finished when we've got to this riff yeah yeah thank you brother remind me he evidently intends me to keep going I'm going on to chapter 13 in this same second book of Chronicles kings had come and kings had gone by this time and in the 18th year of King Jeroboam began Abijah to reign over Judah he reigned three years in Jerusalem now I'd like all you women to notice this and you men too the next phrase listen his mother's name listen I want to tell you women now look up you men listen up too there's a great truth in the mother-child relationship that's why Jesus had to be born of the Holy Ghost there's a great truth in the mother-child relationship if we had lots more nights we could go into this and study the psychological as well as the spiritual background of truth you don't want to be deceived by that man named Spock he spread enough lies through the world to send him to hell forever he also was an American I told you it's right it's absolutely right the national tendencies and characteristics you've got to watch them listen Jesus said salvation is of the Jews think about it didn't say it was only for the Jews God kept a pure strain he kept a pure strain he said to Noah now you and your family come into the ark you're the only ones I've seen righteous in the earth it's a big thing this family position all right his mother's name was so-and-so what an honor can't go into it now she was the daughter of Uriel of Gibeah and there was war between Abijah and Jeroboam and Abijah look what a foolish man he was in the world's eyes he set the battle in Array with an army of valiant men of war even 400,000 chosen men Jeroboam also set the battle in Array against him with 800,000 men chosen men Abijah and his army were outnumbered 2 to 1 and Abijah stood up upon Mount Zemariah which is in Mount Ephraim and said hear me thou Jeroboam and all Israel ought ye not to know that the Lord God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David forever even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt yet Jeroboam the son of Nebat the slave of Solomon the son of David is risen up and hath rebelled against his Lord and there are gathered unto him vain men the children of Belial worthlessness and hath strengthened themselves against Rehoboam the son of Solomon when Rehoboam was young and tender hearted and could not withstand them and now you think to withstand the kingdom of the Lord in the hand of the sons of David and ye be a great multitude and there are with you golden cars which Jeroboam made you for gods have ye not cast out the priests of the Lord the sons of Aaron and the Levites and have made you priests after the manner of the nations of other lands so that whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams the same may be a priest for them there are no gods watch it when people say they are going to consecrate this that and the other to God you don't get in by consecration you get in by the choice of God but as for us the Lord is our God we have not forsaken him and the priests which minister unto the Lord are the sons of Aaron and the Levites wait upon their business and they burn there it is and they burn blessed be the name of the Lord he didn't boast in the temple he didn't boast in that he boasted in the burning burn unto the Lord every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices sweet incense the showbread also set they in order upon the pure table and the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof to burn every evening for we keep the charge of the Lord our God and you have forsaken him and so he goes on and says you are going to bite the dust and he doesn't say it that way that's right when a man burns he gets the victory only the men that burn for God get the victory only the women that burn for God know the victory with the others it's hollow singing and hollow talking you've got to burn friend you've got to burn I send church I say my prayers I give messages in prophecy I do all that I know you can hear that fire's not in it and just shouting in good old Pentecostal manner doesn't do it either that's no sign of the glory or of the power listen the devil's not frightened of a noise blessed be the name of the Lord we've got a moon in this burning burning steam everything else God despises once it's sufficient to say I've given a bullet for God it's have you burned your bullet for God amen oh praise the name of the Lord you're invited into this tremendous love of God our God is consuming fire remember when Jesus went into the earth into the temple when he was on earth in John chapter 2 he shook them to the very foundation he went in and he out go everything out goes this out goes that out goes the little turtledoves you know out goes the bullocks out goes the sheep out goes everything else the tables of the money chambers oh we didn't care for money I don't know whether you do out it all went what's happening what's happening like a hurricane come into the temple yeah and this is they thought of something they thought of something oh the zeal of thine house yeah one day they looked at a zealous man but what he was doing was what he told them when he was 12 he was being about his father's business he was eaten up in love for his father and for you and for me that we should see what God has for us hallelujah oh it's so glorious isn't it and you're being invited into this do you want to come do you want to come into this this family of lovers white hot lovers do you want to come in this family of people who have a de-glorious spiritual love that seems to eat them up soul and body for Christ what do you want absolution on Sunday and filth on Tuesday in your bathroom what do you want what do you want do you want to be burning for God do you want to see Christ's image on Sunday in your own image for about an hour a day in your mirror over your dressing table what do you want what are you seeking your image or his oh Lord he's the God of fire and let me say again that you've got to live with the eternal burnings I want to encourage all you elderly people I'll join you all you over 70's I'm over 70 so I'll join you hallelujah and if you're just under we'll allow you to come listen to me you're not too old to burn your body may be seeming to wear out it may be that you can't go here you can't do that but you can burn in your armchair when you're walking away and you can talk to God you can burn there in your home you can burn there and be a consuming fire for God you can burn and burn and burn burn burn I can remember when our children were young we, my wife and I we were determined to go for God people were saying you're denying your children this and they've got to go and move amongst people that have all these other things and we said we've left them to God and we went and burned for God God knows and burned and burned if I had the temerity to say so I believe it's true with all my heart and all our children are saved they're in the work of God and souls are being saved through them and church is being built up that's right we left them to God that's my testimony we didn't care if people said oh this and that and the other they won't know this and wait they won't be able to do that we said we'll leave that to God you people some of you you'll kill your children if you're not careful you will let me warn you give them to God leave them to God let God do something tremendous lay on God so that he's got to do it or let you down and he never can God can give you strength to hold God to his word you said it Lord bless God bless God we got a real God most people are worshipping an idol God even though they say they're filled with the Holy Ghost lots of them they don't know the real God worshipping an idol Jesus most people are that's my testimony as I move around the world I hear it it invades my intellect it comes in my ears I observe it I say oh God where what's going on I know they've either never had the fire they've had an imitation experience and listen there's a verse in Isaiah which says that cursed be everyone that walks by the light of his own fire and cursed be the children that set light by their parents that's what this book says have you read it blessed be the name of the Lord we're on the borderland of revival if we're moving this area you're on the very borderland of it if you'll cross and go in if you'll throw caution to the winds and ignore the whispers of people that are supposed to be giving you good advice and move in boldly for God that's what you're to do Jesus is with us tonight to do these great things for us beloved he's here he's fire I warn you stay away from him you'll get your fingers burned if you tamper he's going to have you he's going to have your money he's going to have your home he's going to have your clothes he's going to tell you what you can wear and what you can't you understand this he's going to get hold of you he's going to tell you what you may have and what you may not you may have lots of things in the allowance of your church but not the church you understand that God is real he's meaning business if you don't think when you face Calvary that God didn't mean business then you're mad killed his own son when his son would take sin he said then you'll have to die Jesus he said alright father that's love he would take sin that wasn't his own so he had to die that's business God means business now either you do or else you don't professions mean nothing to God reality when God gets hold of you in his lap a fire burns in your very bowels and you've got to go and you've got to live and you've got to open your mouth and speak and you've got to abandon unto the spirit of truth and let the gospel flow out in all its purity as it was in the beginning calm there now may God bless you and move you on I think that's all to draw to a close and I want you to turn to the book of the revelation and in the book of the revelation being a bit of an author myself I appreciate this whenever I read it that John was going to write a book this book's called the revelation it's very possible that the gospel of John was the last of the New Testament canon that it's possible that he wrote the gospel after he wrote the revelation but we don't bother about that and he's on the island of Patmos and he's been destined by God to write one of the most wonderful books in the whole of the canon and I want to tell you that he didn't retire to a nice comfortable house on the lakeside or on the beach to write he was a slave a member of a slave gang when he wrote the book of the revelation alright and he wrote it not because he had an idea he'd like to write a book but because Jesus came to him Jesus had a revelation to him Hallelujah you know the revelation dear? well it starts here and we could go on the four horsemen of the apocalypse we could go on the trumpets we could go on the steels we could go on the plagues we could go on all sorts of things about it but he looked down through the corridors of time and he looked right ahead Amen and he called John up my bride I live for her she is what father and I conceived in our she's the reason I was conceived in Mary's womb there's no night there your eyes will be fixed on there there's no don't use we're in the Lord God from heaven that's where we are you want to be there? remember those that are going to have to look inside and try to get it he said it himself Matthew 7 you read it in case you think because you can do miracles or have gifts and you can do this if you're accepted you read your new testament you want to be there dear? I'll tell you how to get there it's all in chapter 1 how you can get there? Oh oh blessed be the name of the Lord I'm thrilled through and through glory to God and he says in verse 10 or let's start at verse 9 I John who also am your brother and companion in tribulation and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ was in the isle that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ I was in the spirit on the Lord's day and heard behind me a great voice as of a trumpet and every Jew that read this would immediately think of Mount Sinai when the trumpet blew loud and long and clear but it's not Mount Sinai hallelujah it's not the Lord it's Jesus and he's speaking he said I turn to see this voice and the voice spoke like a trumpet saying I am Alpha and Omega the first and the last and what thou seest write in a book and send it unto the churches the seven churches we are in Asia I wish this letter was sent to every church in Florida and in the whole wide world that they may see and know who's talking to them and he goes through the churches it doesn't matter now I turn verse 12 to see the voice that spoke with me and being turned I saw fire you don't say that I saw seven golden candlesticks a flame for God and in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of Man clothed with a garment down to the foot and girt about the peps with a golden girdle his head and his hairs were white like wool as white as snow and his eyes were as a flame of fire and his feet like as a fine brass as if they burned in a furnace and his voice as the sound of many waters and he had in his right hand seven stars and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword I want you to notice it's not love and kisses coming out of his mouth out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength and when I saw him I don't know what you'd do when I saw him I fell at his feet as dead you think you jig and dance, do you? I wonder I fell at his feet as dead and he was a great apostle the chief of modern day believers had been carried away by half-truths I fell at his feet as dead and he laid his right hand upon me saying unto me, fear not I am the first and the last I am he's stating who he is, he's God the I am I am he that liveth and was dead and behold I am alive forevermore Amen and have the keys of hell and of death write the things which thou seest and the things which are and the things which shall be hereafter the mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand and the seven golden candlesticks the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches listen to me this church has an angel and I want you to know this all you elders and leaders and everything else the letter was addressed to the angel of the church not primarily to use your way of saying it to the church but to the angel of the church and it was to the angel of the church he said you left your first love it was to the angel and not one in the church read it brother read it I didn't like it I didn't like it but you can't alter the word didn't understand it all do you know what I do when I don't understand anything I believe it I accept it then God shows me I don't think I believe it I believe understanding comes afterwards that's the law of God and then you see this is the great truth you know that he said to the angel I think to pass on the word he said thou hast left thy first love repent this learning man this man alpha and omega in other words as he began he's going to finish it's going to be the same at the end I begin John by showing you I end by showing you the church the bride hallelujah repent why do you repent why did the prodigal son repent he said because he was a sinner no not particularly he repented because he wanted to go back to his father read it again I will arise and say father I've sinned against heaven and before thee I'm no longer worthy to be called thy son that's why he repented because he remembered the long he finished up at the swine hallelujah and he went glory he said you repent you repent and he's calling and what's the repentance do to go back into the ark that's what it's for you've got to marry Jesus in your heart you've got to marry in your heart he's got to be you understand that and if you're going to fly to Jesus where are you going to find him I'll tell you where you'll find him you'll find him in the fire you'll find him he's burning hot with love for you now Israel I'm not talking about the belly of the stomach that wasn't just Israel's idea it was Rome's idea the fire came down from heaven the fire of God fire God came down on the altar God by the Holy Ghost came down on the altar God consumed and consumed and consumed his Israel that's what he did hallelujah he loved his people that's the testimony of Moses as you get to the end of the book of Deuteronomy he loved the people glory be to the name of the Lord and Jesus is on the altar to me come and I twinged flame he loves you you didn't tell him burn burn he's saying I'm not going to step off the altar it's you he wants he wants spirits of every hair of your head he's counted every one he loves you you're asking me to go and lay you're telling me what to do when did you ever
