Sermon Transcription
Hi my friend, this is KP Yohannan. You know, I've been asked by people quite frequently, you've been serving God now more than 40 years. Tell me brother KP, who are the people that impacted your life and books that actually became significant in your journey with God and serving Him? Well, my answer is very fast. But just I want to share with you, about 30 years ago I got a copy of this book called Jesus Style by Gayle Irwin. As a matter of fact, when I read through this, I absolutely could not believe that there's a book like this. Of course, I read my Bible every single day and spend time and meditate and I walk with God and obey God's word the best I know how. But next to my Bible, just there are handful of books that changed my life forever and continue to impact me as I journey with Christ. And this happened to be one of those books. Why? You see, Christianity after all has only one message. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Yeah, you heard that. But the question is, how do you touch it? How do you live it out? What do you mean by being like Christ? Gayle Irwin actually painted the picture so tangible that we can actually realize it in our normal daily life. This is my wish that every believer on earth will get a copy of it, especially those who serve God. As a matter of fact, we think it is so huge in importance. We have this book translated into some of the major languages of Asia. And I understand it is now in some 35 or 40 languages. So here is my request. Please go to our website or call on the telephone line and get this book. Again, we are not trying to sell anything to make money and we don't make one penny out of it. All I want is somehow everyone get a copy of this book. And I pray that you will read it and I'm absolutely certain it's going to change your life. Oh, by the way, the book is also in Spanish language. And my prayer is this, that when all is said and done, the only thing that remains before you and me, it is Jesus and Him alone. And this book helped us to find that journey and experience it. The Lord's blessings be with you.
