(Where Is the Church Going) 7. the Ministry of Apostles and Prophets
Miki Hardy

Miki Hardy (birth year unknown–present). Born and raised in Mauritius, Miki Hardy is a pastor and founder of Church Team Ministries International (CTMI), established in 2001. After graduating with a civil engineering degree in Australia in 1973, he returned to Mauritius, married Audrey, and they had two daughters, Frédérique and Carole. Raised in a religious Catholic family, Hardy and Audrey converted to Christianity in the late 1970s during charismatic meetings at Loreto Convent in Mauritius. They founded Eglise Chrétienne in Curepipe, Mauritius, and attended Christian Bible Training College in Durban, South Africa, in 1979. By the late 1980s, disillusioned with the church’s state, Hardy studied the early church in Acts and Paul’s epistles, embracing the message of the cross as central to unity and maturity, which transformed his life and ministry. CTMI, based in Mauritius, networks pastors across Africa and beyond, emphasizing apostolic teaching through conferences, TV, and radio broadcasts like “Heart Talk” on TBN Africa. Hardy has authored books, including Le défi de la croix and The Church Needs to Know, promoting repentance and sound doctrine. He continues to travel with Audrey, preaching globally, saying, “The only solution for the Church is to come back to the teachings of Jesus and the early apostles!”

Okay, so it's wonderful to be with you this morning, and I want to welcome all of you again. It's so wonderful to be able to preach the gospel because we believe that it's the gospel, the only one, that can change lives, that can bring the church to a place where it will be a real testimony for the world. So God is at work in your lives, is at work in my life, is busy preparing some great, great things. They are about to happen, there are miracles that are on its way, the Holy Spirit is busy speaking, preparing, attracting hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ. So, it's our responsibility, brothers and sisters, to stay on the road, to be rooted and grounded in the gospel, not to waver, but to stand firm. Okay? And today I would like to speak to you about the role, the responsibility, the ministry of apostles and prophets in the body of Christ. I think there is no doubt for anyone, or there shouldn't be any doubt, that apostles and prophets in the body of Christ are essential. When Paul talks in the book of Ephesians chapter 4, verse 11, he talks about the gifts that Jesus gave to the church, and the five gifts, and among them there were apostles and prophets. So there is no doubt for the church that apostles and prophets are essential to bring the body of Christ to maturity, to the unity of the faith. If you read in chapter 4 in the book of Ephesians, as from verse 11, you will see the purpose and the reason why these ministries have been given to the church. And I want to say one important thing right from the beginning. There is one message, and one gospel that governs the Christian life. It is not an evangelistical gospel. It is not the teacher's gospel. It is not the pastor's gospel. It's the apostolic gospel that was preached by the apostles in the early church, that was preached in the time of the Apostle Paul, that was preached by Jesus himself. And we need to understand that the apostolic gospel, the gospel of Jesus Christ and him crucified, the gospel of the cross, is the essence, the core of Christianity. And I believe that apostles and prophets play a large role, a major role in establishing the message in the hearts of the people of God. And whatever other ministries that we see in the Bible are there to support and to add to the foundation that has been laid to that message, that gospel, that has been laid in the hearts of the people of God. We are not trying to deny any other ministry, but we are saying, according to Scripture, that the message that originated in the early church is the apostolic gospel. The message that the Apostle Paul preached as an apostle, the message that Jesus Christ preached to his disciples and to the Jews, it's the same message, the apostolic message, the apostolic gospel. I want you to open the Bible with me in the gospel of Matthew, before that in Acts chapter 2, verse 42. We read in this Scripture that the Christians continued steadfastly in the apostolic doctrine. Do you read the same in your Bible? It's in verse 42. And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrine and fellowship in the breaking of bread and in prayers. There is something that has shaken my life as a preacher. In the times where I was struggling in ministry and we experienced so many divisions and competition in the body of Christ among the eldership, there's one thing that I desired. When I read the book of Acts, was to see the unity among the preachers, the unity among the eldership and the leadership to work together. The love that was spreading from the hearts of the Christians who gave their lives for one another, who shared everything they had. The power of the gospel to change lives. These things marked my life when I was a preacher. Because for many years in the ministry I did not experience this. Although we had all the teachings, we went to Bible school, but what I saw in the book of Acts was what I desired in my life. And what I read, and we just read in Acts chapter 2 verse 42, just stroke me. My eyes just became opened when I saw that the disciples and the body of Christ this gathered steadfastly the Bible say. They continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine. And I wondered what was this special doctrine that the apostles had that made Christians to love one another and that allowed preachers to work together in unity and to see the power of the gospel change lives which I did not experience in the early days of ministry. So it shook my life and I desired to know more. And I desired to went into the scriptures. And I want to tell you that for two years of my life I only read the book of Acts and the epistles of Paul. Because I wanted to know what was special about this apostolic message. What was so powerful, what was so special about this message and this gospel that made the church so powerful and that made the love of God to be so tangible among the Christians that they were ready to give their lives to one another and sell everything they had so that they could share it with one another so that everybody had enough to live in peace and in harmony and in love and unity. Two years of my life I've never opened the Old Testament. And I never read any other book except the book of Acts and the epistles of the apostle Paul. And I want to tell you it changed my life and I started to see a little bit what was this apostolic message. What did it say? What power was behind this message? And I started to see what was so special about it. And God started to open my eyes and to teach me, me myself as a preacher. How much he wanted to change my life and how he wanted me to take up my cross and follow him. And then I understood, I read the epistles of Paul. Every line said the same thing. Every chapter, every verse. There was something that came out of these verses that showed me clearly what was this apostolic message and the apostolic gospel. I desired it all of my heart and I said to the Lord, I'm not going to serve you for anything else except you reveal to me what is this apostolic gospel that changed the lives of so many people in the early days. And by the grace of God, my eyes started to open and I understood that these twelve men that God called and this special man called Paul received the revelation of Jesus Christ and the cross of Jesus Christ and him crucified. I understood that it was the essence of Christianity. That there was no Christianity except one would give up his life for it. That there was no compromise. That there was no if and but and maybe. It was clear that was the greatest challenge of my life. Greatest challenge of my life. Because I started to understand that I would lose it. I would lose that life which was in my own hands. I was proud to be a preacher. I was proud to preach the gospel which I even did not understand. I was a mechanical preacher. I was a technical preacher. But I understood somehow by the grace of God that this apostolic message had to come among the people of God. Open your Bibles with me in the book of Matthew chapter 16 of Mark. My apology. Mark chapter 16 a verse that you know. I know very well. You know it by heart. Mark chapter 16 verse 15 The words of Jesus Christ himself. Jesus has risen from the dead and spoke these words to his disciples and he said go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Go into all the world. Preach the gospel. Now watch what he says after. Watch. He said he who believes and is baptized will be saved. He who believes and is baptized will be saved. Now there are many discussions about baptism. About how to be baptized. When to be baptized. If we are allowed to partake to the table of the Lord if we are baptized or not baptized. I mean I don't believe that Jesus was talking about what we are discussing today. The Lord opened my eyes. I want to share it with you this morning. When he says everyone who will believe and be baptized will be saved. It's not the action of being baptized. It's not the fact that we are underwater and coming up. It is mainly and only mainly and only a personal engagement of what we are prepared to accept to live as a Christian. The Bible says that Jesus himself said that only those who will persevere to the end shall be saved. In other words, if you first believe and become a Christian there's another step to your life. There's another decision to your life. Because maybe the first day that you get born again you don't even know exactly what's going to happen to your life. You just believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and he died on the cross for you and now he's calling you to be forgiven of your sins and enter into the kingdom of God. But there comes a time in your life that you need a personal engagement where you decide, where you accept, where you are prepared to lose that life of yours and that will guarantee you your salvation. Otherwise there is every risk that you are going to backslide. Can you understand what I'm saying? If you believe, if anyone believes and be baptized Jesus is not talking about going to the sea and get baptized. He's talking about an engagement. The apostle Peter talks about that a personal engagement of a good conscience. Am I right? In 1 Peter, I think it's chapter 2 or 3. An engagement of a good conscience. What are you prepared to accept and to leave? That's what Jesus said to his disciples. Go, go and preach the good news and go and teach them everything that I've taught you. Everything. The good news. The good news about Jesus Christ, our Savior. But also everything that he taught them. And because he taught them about the Christian life, about the apostolic doctrine, about the apostolic message, he then directed them and said, now you go and preach that same gospel and everyone who believes in Jesus Christ and be baptized shall be saved. And if you don't believe, you're going to be condemned. But the only way for you to stick up to the end and to persevere and not to backslide is to give up your life. You take up that cross. You take up the road of the cross. You take up that narrow road. Let me tell you, you shall maybe fall, but you shall not backslide. Maybe there are times that you will be tempted and you will fall, but you will not backslide. Even in your fall, you will grow. That's why Jesus said, if anyone believes and be baptized, he will be saved. He will go right up to the end of the race. In other words, only those who persevere to the end will be saved. Am I talking Bible here? The answer of a good conscience, that's what baptism is all about. That's what the apostolic gospel is all about. Is to get baptized. Not in the sense of going under the water, but bring you to the place where you deny your rights of living for yourself. You deny yourself. You deny your rights of living for you. That's what's written in Mark chapter 16 verse 24. That's what baptism is all about. To be prepared to take up your cross and follow Jesus Christ and live for him. Oh Lord help us. In Hebrews chapter 10 verse 32. The Bible talks about those who were prepared to endure a great struggle with sufferings. Hebrews chapter 10 verse 32. When they got enlightened by the apostolic message, they were prepared to endure. Yeah, that's what the Bible says. A great struggle with sufferings. That's why when we talk about the message, we talk about the gospel. It's the cross of Jesus Christ. He's partaking with his sufferings. That's baptism my friend. Yeah. In verse 33 of the same chapter of the book of Hebrews. He's talking about those who were prepared to be made a spectacle through reproaches and tribulations. Make a spectacle. Do you know, do you understand what that means? Aye? Make a spectacle of yourself through reproaches, accusations, tribulations, persecutions. It's the same thing. Enduring sufferings for Christ, for the sake of the gospel. That's baptism sir. It's not two languages here. It's one language. It's one spirit. It's one heart. It's one gospel. Now don't talk to me about the message of prosperity. I don't see that in there. You know what I see? I can read it to you in verse 34 of the same chapter of the book of Hebrews. When they heard the apostolic message, when they heard the apostolic doctrine, what does it say? They were ready to accept the plundering of their goods. They were ready, prepared to accept the plundering of their goods. That's the apostolic message sir. That's the apostolic heart. That's the heart of Jesus. That's the heart of the gospel. That's the word of Jesus Christ himself. That's baptism. I think you got a good description of baptism this morning. A wonderful description of baptism. You better know what you're doing before you go and get baptized sir. Yeah. And if you keep the same attitude, you will never backslide. Never backslide in your life. You'll be weak, you'll fall. But you'll experience the grace and the love of God. Hallelujah. Now we're not talking about titles here sir. We're not talking about these apostles that go everywhere around and talk about all sorts of things. We're talking about the apostolic gospel. The gospel that originated from the heart of Jesus. That the early disciples and apostles carried in their heart and lives. That's why when I read the book of Acts and I saw what they did and who they were and what they were prepared to leave. I said, but Lord, I don't see that among the people of God. That was my challenge. Oh Lord, help us. The apostle Paul in the book of Philippians chapter 3 verse 10 is talking about how he's prepared to partake to the sufferings of Christ. So that he may partake to his resurrection. Resurrection life. He says, I count everything as a loss. So as to gain Christ. That's the apostolic heart. That's the apostolic gospel and message. In the book of Corinthians, the apostle Paul talked to the church and he says how our calling is to be prepared to be broken and renewed day by day and changed so that we may become to the image of Christ. If anyone believes believes and be baptized shall be saved. Shall guarantee salvation. If you get baptized in the same attitude that we are talking about here now, right now. You are guaranteeing your salvation. That's why Jesus says, no one can pluck you out of my hands. No one. The devil can roar. He can attack. He can throw every dart at you. But no one will be able to pluck you out of the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ. No one. If you have decided and accepted to leave the apostolic message. I tell you the Lord must help us. Right? Now there are some people that are talking about this prosperity message that every Christian must be millionaire and billionaire and this and that and the other. One strange thing in the church that I never seen any Bill Gates. I never met any Bill Gates or Oppenheimer in the church of Jesus Christ. I've met the majority of people, majority of them who have heard the gospel of faith to become rich. I've seen them poor. Now you probably some people will tell me they don't have faith. And I repeat again, I have nothing against people being rich. But don't make that part of the apostolic gospel. Don't make that part of the apostolic gospel, sir. If God blesses you, if God gives you millions, I've got no problem with it. Good for you. Bless your heart. But don't come and tell me week after week what I need to do to get more. Because the apostolic gospel tells me about godliness, about godliness with fear and contentment. Godliness with contentment. What is contentment? Being happy. Being at peace. Rejoicing in whatever circumstance of life. Godliness with contentment pleases God. But godliness as a way to profit and gain, the apostle Paul says, flee away from them. That's why we need to understand the apostolic gospel. The spirit of this gospel. The heart of this message. Jesus Christ and him crucified. The cross of Jesus Christ. The church must stop feeding Christians with messages to attract them. Let me tell you something. There's nothing to be attracted in the apostolic gospel. There's nothing to attract you. Nothing. But there's power to convict your heart to give it to Jesus. But in your flesh, there's nothing attractive in the apostolic gospel. Nothing. There are so many gospels today, that when you come to church, and you listen to it, it attracts you. The fact that it attracts you is not the apostolic gospel. The very fact that you come to church to be attracted for you to gain something, it's not the apostolic message. It's not the message that comes from the heart of Jesus Christ. It's not. Because your flesh does not like the message and the true gospel. But what is so wonderful is that it captivates your heart. And it makes you to see that there is no other life except to rejoice on the walk of the cross. And you are not forced to do it. No. The power of that message. The power of that message seizes your heart and says, Mickey, give it away. Lose it, my friend. It's for your good. Knowing what you are going to reap. Eternal life. A life pleasing to God on earth before meeting Him in the air. One day, may the Lord help us. May the Lord help us. The church must stop feeding Christians messages of excitement and emotions and what not. We must stop. I say it very clearly, we must stop. We must preach the cross of Jesus Christ. Him. And Him crucified. The church is hearing messages that war against the soul. You know? The church is being fed with messages that war against the soul. Like designed for you to backslide. Like designed for the flesh. Designed to satisfy the flesh. The apostolic gospel shakes you from the top of your hair to the bottom of your feet. And tell you something, when the apostolic gospel comes to your heart you can't jump and down and just, you know, start dancing and what not. No, you are so convinced and convicted and fear takes up hold of your heart and you say, God, forgive me. Oh, Lord. The church had faith to leave the apostolic gospel in the early days. The church had faith to leave the apostolic message. They had faith to partake to the sufferings of Christ. They had faith in tomorrow because of Him. They had faith for their ministry. They had faith for their spiritual life. Let me tell you, God is not impressed with your shining shoes. He is not impressed with your white trousers and skirts. You know when He is impressed? When you come down that altar and you put your knees down there and you repent. That's the apostolic message. He doesn't care if your shoes are white and you look like a beetle or a... I don't know who. He doesn't care if your pants, you know, they are like that or if your shirt shines. He doesn't care. He is not impressed. He is looking about a pure life. You know what the... Let me tell you something, guys. You know what's the finished product of the apostolic message? We need the finished product. I mean, you can't go in a manufacturer, an industry tomorrow, you know, and you want soap. You can't go there to buy soap. You've got to go in the supermarket. Now it's been refined. Everything has been done to it. It's been perfumed. It's been given the right smell. It looks nice. You know, it's palm leaf. I don't know what. You take it. You go and you bathe yourself with. That's why when you want soap, you've got to look at the finished product. You can't go in the industry there. It's a mesh there. It stinks. But the finished product of the apostolic gospel is a contrite spirit, a humble heart, a broken man and woman who carries the perfume of the knowledge of Christ. That's the final product which I am interested in. That's what the church needs to be interested in. The final product. Man and woman of the Spirit. A special people. Special people. A holy nation. A royal priesthood. That's what Peter says. In chapter 2, verse 9. Maybe we can look at it. That will maybe convict you. A humble heart. That's the product. You know what a humble heart does? A humble heart, it doesn't fight. It feels so small before mighty God. It doesn't even have the strength to justify himself. It doesn't have the strength to justify himself. Can you see how powerful the church would be if millions of Christians would stop justifying themselves and stop keeping their lives and their belongings and what they have for themselves and be broken and humble people ready to accept one another on the road of the cross and love one another. Lord help us. 1 Peter chapter 2, verse 9. But you are a chosen generation. That's what Peter is looking. Chosen generation. Royal priesthood. Holy nation. His own special people. That you may proclaim the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Who once were not a people but are now the people of God. Who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims abstain from fleshly lust which war against the soul. Having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles that when they speak against you as evildoers they may by your good works which they observe glorify God in the day of visitation. That's the people the kind of people that God is busy making molding through the message of the cross. That's why the role of apostles in the church today is more than necessary to bring the church back to bring the church back to live the reality of the Christian life. To carry the very heart of Jesus. To finish up with that world and to live for him. That's how you recognize true apostles. True apostles preach the true gospel. True apostles preach this gospel. This gospel. Apostles by name and title don't preach that gospel. We're talking about the apostolic message. The one that Jesus Christ himself inaugurated and transmitted to the heart of the twelve. And the message that the apostle Paul received from Jesus Christ directly in his heart for the churches. You can't mix it. You can't compromise it. Paul says if anyone or an angel comes to you and preach another gospel let him be accursed. Let him be accursed. You cannot mix the two. It's impossible. Sound doctrine. Pure. You can't take a bit and take another bit here. You can't serve two masters. You can't. That's why it's unique. It's unique. In religion you can serve two masters. You don't have problems. Because you just have to do some rituals and then you do another thing. You live in the world and then you live in rituals. That's why the message of the apostles the apostles gospel is unique. The message of Jesus is unique. No mixture. No compromise. No dilution. Clear. Where you know there's a price to pay. And then you say hey brother I want to be baptized. And then you know you'll make it to the end. You'll make it to the end. If you keep that same attitude of heart. And that was the message that the true apostle preached in the early days. Look at the history of the church. You will see that there have always been a time where God raised someone with this message. Or many with this message. Because that's what kept the church to resurrect again. Because that was the message that would bring the church back to life. That was the message that would bring the church away from sin and iniquity and the world and back to repentance. And what's the role of the prophets among all that? What does he do the prophet? What's his role? How does he work together with the apostles? Now we need to make the difference between somebody who prophesy and somebody who's got the prophetic anointing. Anyone can prophesy. It's not a big deal to prophesy. Can you understand what I'm saying? It's a gift of the Holy Spirit. Prophecy is one of the gifts. Which is absolutely necessary and essential in the life of the prophet. You can't be a prophet and never prophesy. But you can prophesy without being a prophet. Can you understand? So in the old covenant, what was the role of the prophet? You know the first commandment said that you've got to worship God and God alone. One God. But what did the people of Israel do? They worshiped many gods. They mixed everything together. Baal, God Almighty, El Shaddai. Everyone together. And the prophet came. And what did he do? He wanted to preserve. To preserve what God said to the people of Israel. He rebuked them. He saw. He heard from God. God gave him direction for the people at a specific time. Because they diverted. They went to worship other gods. They compromised. And the prophet came and confronted them. Straight. Because God used them to defend what he said. Can you hear? God used them to defend what he said. And he needed a specific anointing to do it. And in the new covenant, that's how the prophets work with the apostles together. And of course the other ministries. But now we're talking about the role and the ministry of the apostles and prophets together. So what's the main role of the prophets? There's a part of his ministry where he prophesied. Where he sees things in the lives of people. And speak to them clearly about what God thinks and said. But. But. The prophetic anointing will defend the apostolic gospel. He will defend the apostolic gospel. Wherever he goes, that he sees some compromise. Mixture. And feels that the heart of the people is going away from the gospel. He sees in the spirit the attitude. He sees the motivation. And even before the worst happens, he speaks on behalf of God. And he says, hey sir, hey church, where are you going here? Can you see the right combination? Can you see the right combination? That's why I started with you when I said to you that the essence of Christianity, that the true message of Christianity does not come from the heart of the pastor. Can you hear me? He's a good man. He's got his role. He's got his anointing. He's got his responsibility. He's got a heart for the people. But he's got to build on the foundation that was laid. He cannot have his own. Paul says in 1 Corinthians chapter 3, by the grace of God, I have laid the foundation. And let anyone be careful how he builds on it. And the prophet is the one who says, hey sir, you're not building on it. Change direction. Repent. That's the greatest word of the prophet. Repent. You see, it's in line with the message of the cross. Can you see? It fits together. It's designed for that. It's what is in the anointing. We are talking about the prophet that says, hey sir, the Lord is saying to you, you're going to be a great man. And you know what? He's going to open the door for the whole world. You're going to be the greatest preacher in the world. You're going to have a wonderful wife. Wonderful, great, praise God. I mean, sometimes it's okay. Sometimes it's fine. But other times, hey sir, come and repent. Watch your attitude, sir. You're going on a road where it's called destruction. Hey pastor, come and I'll show you something. Remember the days where you were on the right foundation and you were preaching good stuff. And now, where are you? Where are you going? Where are you going? What's your preaching? I can feel that somewhere you are drawing away from the apostolic gospel. Hey? Yeah? Can you see how it fits together? Can you see? I think it's great stuff. I believe it is great stuff. I believe, you know, in the spirit, you see how the church is being built. There's no confusion. We're all in one direction. One heart. One mind. One spirit. One baptism. One baptism. One God. Can you see? One baptism. One. One. What does it mean? There are many baptisms. One is dipping backwards. One is dipping forward. One is on the side, you know. One is because he needs to learn for about three weeks what is baptism. And the other one, he's got to go to a lecture for about six weeks. The other one, you know, this, that, also. No, sir. No, no, no, no. There's one baptism. And if your heart says yes to what God is calling you according to what you hear about the apostolic doctrine, you have got the right, and not only the right, but you are called to be baptized and to give up your life for him. Yeah. Amen? Yeah? That's the prophets of the new covenant. Yeah? I remember the days when the prophet would come to town. I mean, you know, I would make myself seen. You know, I would rise up in my seat, you know, as if I wanted him to say, hey, sir, come, I've got a prophecy for you. Yeah? But I tell you, the prophet of the new covenant in the last days built on the apostolic gospel, you might become smaller and smaller behind that guy. You might not want to be seen. You know, it's the spirit that is in the house that determines if you want to be seen or not. It's the gospel that prevails among God's people that will give you the motivation to be seen or to hide yourself. But the problem when you hide, you can't hide yourself from God. That's the only problem. You might go under the chair, but God will see you. And God will say to the prophet, hey, there's somebody behind a chair somewhere. Yeah. And the guy starts to tremble. And you see him sneaking out there. Yeah, it's you, sir. And God does not have a problem rebuking his people among the people of God. Because it's the spirit of the gospel where there is no condemnation, no judgment, no criticism, because what's happening to him is happening to you tomorrow. That's the house of the Lord. Yeah. That's the new covenant people. That's why when you get baptized, you will not backslide. You can't backslide. Yeah, you're going to be weak one day. I mean, I can repeat myself five times that you need to hear it five times. Because it's the truth. That's why you need not fear to take up that cross. It's your assurance. It's your guarantee that you will finish the race. Otherwise, my friend, let me tell you, you have no guarantee. No. You are not secure. No. You will live a life of misery. You know what's happening in there? Yes, the Lord is saying that. But my flesh is saying that. I don't want that cross. No. And then you rejoice. You make yourself happy. And then when you hear the gospel again, you say, well, might as well get in that stuff. Because it looks okay. It might save me. And then you come here and you say, okay, that's good. Praise the Lord. And then the next day, you go to the other side. And you start messing around with God. No, no, no. And one day, you're going to backslide really. And you'll mess up your life. And you'll finish up with it. Yeah. That's why the apostle anointing. The prophetic anointing. When they get together. And they work in the house of God. It's your greatest security. It's your greatest protection. Now, I want to close up by saying, we're not talking about titles. We are not talking about names. We're talking about the anointing of God. We're talking about the pure apostolic gospel. Don't fall into the trap where people will tell you there were only 12. No. God is raising up and equipping those he has called to bring the gospel. The true gospel of Jesus Christ and him crucified. You know what I thought lately for our new auditorium? I thought something. And I don't know if it's right. You'll tell me. I thought of making a big sign. Somewhere. I don't know how it looks, the stage there. But, you know, I've got this sort of imagination how it is. I don't know where and where. And say something like, we preach Jesus Christ and him crucified. That's what we preach. We preach Jesus Christ and him crucified. Amen. How's that guys? You want to pray about it? You know. That's what's in our hearts. That's what's making us live. Life cannot be lived without this message. We cannot hear anything else. Every message that comes must be built on this foundation. On the apostolic gospel. I love it. Do you like it? Apostolic anointing. Apostolic gospel. The message. That's why when God is raising these ministries in the church. God himself put hearts together. He puts hearts together. He deals with us. He breaks us. He molds us. I mean, we've got problems. You know. But, somehow, somewhere, there comes a time where these little things disappear. And we know that we are one in the gospel. And the hearts of these ministries are bound. You know. Are united together. In such a way that the people of God feel the security in serving the Lord. The security in taking up their cross and following Jesus. And they don't mind hearing week after week about the cross of Jesus Christ. They don't mind. Because they know. That the moment this gospel is removed. Let me tell you. I guarantee you. We will all backslide. I'm going to backslide. If that gospel leaves my heart. I'm going to backslide. I don't know how. By what means. I don't know how my flesh will react. I don't know. But I'm lost. I'm going to be lost. Same as you. You are going to be lost. We are going to be lost in our sins. The moment this gospel is removed. I bless God for the ministries that he's raising in the body of Christ. True ones. True apostles. True prophets. True evangelists. That all carry the same heart. True pastors. True teachers of the word. That keep our hearts in one direction. That remind us always. I'm sure that when you come to the teachings that any of these ministries can give you. You're not only hearing things that are new to you. But you are challenged. Yeah. It's not only a teaching. It's not only something that you want to know more. But every teaching brings a confrontation. Brings a challenge. Shows us what God wants to do in our lives. Why? Because the foundation is right. Because these preachers and these teachers and these men of God. Have been born. Born in the spirit of the gospel. Born in the gospel. In the apostolic gospel. Glory be to Jesus. Who is building his church. Glory be to him for our lives. I'll never stop thanking the Lord for the gospel. For the apostolic gospel. I received a mail. I'll end up there. I received a mail a week ago. From pastors of an African country. Where they themselves had just been hit by an earthquake. We work with them. Hit by an earthquake. One of them had his house completely destroyed. And you know when an earthquake comes with all the things that, you know. Come with it and blah, blah, blah. And all the panic and all the fear. And everything. And I had sent a letter. To all the people. All the pastors. All the churches that work with us. Because there was a problem in one or the other country in Africa. Where we had to support. Those who were working there. It's in Kenya in fact. You know about what happened in Kenya for the last three months or four months. And I had sent a letter to all the churches and pastors that work with us. Please do what you can. Do what you can and make an offering. And we shall send it to the brothers and sisters in Kenya. So that they may be comforted and helped. Now I know the state of these churches in that country. The guy who wrote to me last week. He said, Brother Mickey. I thank you for your letter. And we have together. Among the few pastors. Raised up. I think it's $60. I'm not sure. If it's $60 or $80. I can't remember. We have raised $60. For the church in Kenya. Please tell us how we can send it to you. They are just. They have not even recovered from an earthquake. And it reminded me of 2 Corinthians chapter 8. We are out of their poverty. Out of their lack. They said to the apostle Paul. Please include us in that offering. And I would have understood if they had said to me. Brother Mickey. We don't have anything. But in their hearts. They wanted. They wanted. I wrote to him in fact yesterday morning. I said to him. I honor you guys. For your generosity in the midst of afflictions. And I thank you very much. For what you are doing right now for the church in Kenya. And I said to him. I'm proud to tell you. That this is the fruit. Of the gospel. The fruit of the preaching of the cross. Which brought your heart to the place. Where you know what it is. To partake. To the sufferings of Christ. And to unite ourselves. For a vision. I was blessed. I was blessed. You see these things. Only happen. With. The true gospel. Otherwise you will have people in that place. Having suffered an earthquake. And they would all write to you. Brother Mickey. Or brother here. Or brother there. Please send us money. But instead. They gave. Isn't that a challenge? Isn't that a challenge? And we. In our island. And people listening to me. In your blessed country. In your prosperous country. When there's nothing that you lack. You have everything at every time. Let me tell you something. Unless the apostolic gospel reaches out to the church. We can forget. Having a heart. Like Jesus. We can forget. These types of testimonies. It's time. For the church to get in touch. That's why I urge you. People of God. I urge you. With all my heart. Don't give up. Don't give up. With this gospel. It might take something out of you. You might suffer. You might have times where you cry. Where things are going tough. But let me tell you. On that road of the cross. You will never be deceived. And God will reach out to you. And the Lord Jesus Christ will be with you on that road. And will take you by your hand. And make you climb up that mountain. And go on the other side. And walk in victory. I close up by saying. The apostolic gospel is the victorious message. In this proud, sinful and dying world. Not any gospel. It's not going to save anyone. It's not going to have Christians happy when they lack. There's one message. Victorious one. Victorious message. For this world. For the church. Don't come up with anyone. Any gospel. I challenge you. I challenge you. Anyone who hears. Consider. What I'm saying to you. Go back to these verses. Go back. To the epistles of Paul. Read the book of Acts. Allow the Lord to open your eyes. So that you may see. That there is one. And only. Gospel. Jesus Christ. And him. Crucified. Nothing else. That's the victorious message. And we shall see apostles and prophets. Work together. For the glory of Jesus Christ. And the church will rise up. And the world will know. That our God. Is able. To change lives. Amen. Our God is able. To change lives. Hallelujah. God bless you all people. Let us stand. As we worship him with all our hearts.
