Sermon Transcription
You love the word? Well, we're going to find out. If you didn't come with your Bible tonight, you're naked. I'll say it again, if you didn't come with your Bible, you're naked. I don't want you to come to any conference without this word, please. I'm going to take you through it, we're going to look into it, we're going to dig into it, and I hope before we're finished, you'll love it as you've never loved it before. You know the reason we have so many cults today? Because too many young people don't know this book. If they knew this book, they would have never fallen for the cults. And too many Pentecostal young people don't know the book. For that matter, too many preachers don't know the book. I was telling some of these young men before the service, if you want to find a place where there are least Bibles of all, go to a minister's conference. Go to the General Council, the General Assemblies of the Assemblies of God, and try to count the Bibles of the preachers going in. You'll find maybe one out of a hundred or ten out of a hundred at the most. Say, well, it's just a place to go and meet one another. Well, that's too bad, we need to do more than that. Now, if you came just to meet one another or to find a boyfriend or girlfriend or look over the crowd, you missed it. We came here to be changed, didn't we? I felt God told me to come. I don't travel much anymore except on the streets and overseas and a few invitations, but I felt quickened when I had this invitation. I prayed about it, and I felt quickened in my heart that I should come and share my part. And I've been on my face, and I've heard from the Lord, and I bring your word from the Lord. And if you love him with all your heart, I believe you're going to be changed. You're going to be changed, not because I'm here, not because any other speaker that's being here, but because the word is going to be revealed to our hearts. The word is what makes us change. Please, I repeat it, don't come tomorrow morning without your Bible. If you do, I'm gonna make you home and get it. I'll stop the meeting if I have to, make sure everybody goes home and get it, because otherwise, you're not gonna understand a word I'm saying if you don't check me out. I'm gonna start you tonight right through it. I'm gonna tell you, I'm gonna prove whether you love it or not. Because if you don't love your Bible, halfway through this, oh no, here I go again. Where are we going? Where's he gonna take us now? And you'll get so bored. If you love the word, you're going to get excited tonight. I'm gonna ask you then, how many love the word? Raise your hand. You love the word? We're gonna find out in just a minute here. Jesus, we came not to meet personalities. We didn't come, Lord, just to be in another conference. We want to be changed. It's the Word of God that changes us. Lord, these are terrible times in which we live, and yet they're promising times. God, speak to our heart through the power of your Holy Word. Holy Spirit, I call you to bear now. I walk in covenant with you. I walk in your righteousness, Jesus, and I come pure before you. Now I ask you, Lord, to use me as a channel to break through the hearts that carry sin in their lives. Lord, if there are ministers here that are ministering in compromise, break that. Lord, we're going to preach repentance in this conference. I'm not going to stand up here, Lord, and be a cheerleader trying to get young people to get enthused to go overseas, or even to go into the streets of our cities. First, there has to be a change of heart. There has to be a pureness of heart. There has to be clean hands and pure heart. Lord, this is a call to repentance this weekend, a call to repentance, to live in a state of repentance. Oh God, as we talk about this Zadok priesthood tonight, show us this priesthood. Show us where you want us, for we are kings and priests unto you. We minister to you tonight, Lord Jesus. We would come here to minister to you, in Jesus' name. Amen. All right, I'm going to talk to you tonight about the Zadok priesthood. Everybody say Zadok. Zadok. Again, Zadok. Zadok. Well, you may not know much what that means now, but I hope you do when you're finished tonight. Turn with me. First Samuel 2. First Samuel, second chapter. First Samuel 2. You're going to be surprised how many of you don't know where where some of these chapters are. I might ask you to turn to Ruth, and you don't even know where they do. Some of you do. All right, First Samuel. First Samuel, second chapter, verse 27 beginning. I'm going to talk to you tonight about a Zadok priesthood. Do you believe we're kings and priests to the Lord? Are you a priest? We are all kings and priests unto the Lord. I'm going to talk about a Zadok priesthood, and I'm not talking about a bunch of preachers. I'm talking about a bunch of students in Peterborough, Canada, right now, tonight. A Zadok priesthood, beginning to read at the 27th verse. Then a man of God, King Eli, said to him, thus says the Lord. Now, by the way, I'm reading from New American Standard. Some of you may have NIV, King James. There may be some variances. If you have any questions after the service, I'll try to answer some of them for you, but I'm reading from the New American Standard. It's really opened the word to me in a very special way, and I love to read it, and I recommend it very highly. NIV is just as well. If you have your NIV, whatever it is, follow me. It may vary a little bit, but you'll get the essence of it. Starting again, verse 27. Then a man of God came to Eli and said to him, thus says the Lord. By the way, we don't know who this man is. It's not Samuel. There's just a man sent from God. Don't even know his name. This man says to Eli, thus says the Lord, did I not indeed reveal myself to the house of your father when they were in Egypt in bondage to Pharaoh's house? Did I not choose them from all the tribes of Israel to be my priests, to go up to my altar, to burn incense, to carry an ephod before me? And did I not give to the house of your father all the fire offerings of the sons of Israel? Why do you kick at my sacrifice and at my offering, which I've commanded in my dwelling, and honor your sons above me by making yourselves fat with the choice of the very offering of my people Israel? Therefore, the Lord God of Israel declares, I did indeed say that your house and the house of your father should walk before me forever, but now the Lord declares, far be it from me, for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me will be lightly esteemed. Behold, the days are coming when I will break your strength and the strength of your father's house so that there will not be an old man in your house, and you will see the distress of my dwelling in spite of all that I do for Israel. And an old man will not be in your house forever, yet I will not cut off every man of yours from my altar, that your eyes may fail from weeping and your soul grieve, and all the increase of your house will die in the prime of life. All of your, look at that, all increase of your house will die in the prime of life, and this will be the sign to which you shall come concerning your two sons, half-nine finest, on the same day both of them shall die. Now listen, look at this closely, but I will raise up for myself a faithful priest who will do according to what is in my heart and in my soul, and I will build him an enduring house, and he will walk before my anointed always. I'm going to read verse 35 again because here's the key, but I will raise up for myself a faithful priest who will do according to what is in my heart, in my soul, and I will build him an enduring house. Do you see what that says? An enduring house that will last forever, and he will walk before my anointed always. All right, Eli is now a cursed priesthood. Do you see that? Here's a man of God saying, you failed God, there's a curse on your kind of ministry now. There's an Eli ministry which represents a curse. There are three things that went into that curse, if you'll notice. What, by the way, he said, look what he said, you make yourself fat with the choices to all the offerings of my people, verse 29. He said, you see the iniquity of your sons. Your sons are committing all kinds of iniquity, and you do not rebuke them. God said, for this I'm going to judge your house forever. Now, you see there's a judgment on this kind of a ministry. On an Eli priesthood, there's a judgment from almighty God that will last forever. All right, three kinds of curses, three things went into this curse. Verse 31, I will break your strength and the strength of your father's house. That means that there's going to be a certain kind of priesthood that's going to last until Jesus comes, that has a weakness in built in it. There's a weakness that's going to come out of it. Your house will be weak from now on. There's a weakness, you understand that, you see it in verse 31. All right, in verse 32, you will seek distress of my dwelling in spite of all the good that I do. In other words, you're going to fall short continually of my fullness. There's going to be distress. I'll be blessing God's people, but you will be in distress. Your priesthood is doomed to come short of my glory. There are going to be a certain kind of people till Jesus comes who fall short of his glory, even though we're in the priesthood, and we are priests, are we not? All right, the third part, all the increase of your house will die in the prime of life. That's verse 33. What that means, just when God's about to use you and when you're most used, you're going to fall because there's a weakness in you. There's something at work, there's an evil seed in your kind of ministry. All right, there's three curses, do you see that? It's right there, a weak priesthood falling short of God's fullness, and a fall just when it looks like everything is going well. All right, and yet this week, now look this way, look right at me, this weak, flawed, self-centered priesthood is going to continue. In fact, it's here with us today. I will not get, I will not cut off every man of yours from my altar. I'll not cut it off from my altar. I'm going to let it continue in my house. It'll continue to the end. He did not cut off the priesthood of Eli. He cursed it, but he didn't cut it off. You see it? How many see that now? He cursed it, but he didn't cut it off. He said, yet I'm going to let it continue. All right, there's another kind of priesthood prophesied here, but I will raise up for myself. See, there's another kind of priesthood, do you see that? I will raise up for myself a faithful priest who will do according to what is in my heart and in my soul, and I will build him an enduring house, and he'll walk before my anointed always. Now people, look at me for just a minute. That's an amazing prophecy, and this message is prophetic tonight. This is an amazing prophecy. Here's the first prophecy in the Bible of a holy remnant priesthood that will continue till Jesus comes. It's going to endure. He said, I will build this house. It will be an enduring house. Priest after my own heart who will do what I tell them to do. All right, I've introduced to you two kinds of priests now. A cursed Eli priesthood. I've introduced to you another kind of priesthood, a faithful priesthood of those who will do according to the will of God. All right, now give me your good eye. Don't look down at your Bible until I tell you to, please. I like to look right in the middle of the eye. I can't see, but I like to look anyhow. All right, I'm going to talk about a dual priesthood, and the dual priesthood is found in the Old Testament having to do with Zadok and Abiathar, the priest under King David, and I'm going to show you this amazing trail of these two priesthood right on through David's Judean, Judaic priesthood or kingdom right up to this very present time, and I'm going to show you how the prophet Ezekiel prophesied that in our time these two priesthoods are going to be manifested in a unique, clear way. I'll tell you what, when I saw it, I cried for hours. You're going to cry tonight in your heart. If you don't cry openly, you're going to weep inside when you see the prophecy unfold right before your eyes tonight, and don't turn to it, but 2 Samuel 15 31 says, I'm not Zadok, look here, I'm not Zadok and Abiathar, the priest with you there. This is speaking of David. There was a dual priesthood. This dual priesthood lasted until Jesus, the time of Christ. Remember, there were two priests, Caiaphas and Annas. This was a dual priesthood. There was a priesthood that was descended from Aaron and a priesthood descended from Eli. Eli was the cursed. Aaron was a priesthood that would minister completely unto the Lord. In fact, I want to show you that kind of priesthood. I want you to turn with me, if you will, to Leviticus, the 10th chapter. Leviticus, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus. I'm going to show you Leviticus, the 10th chapter. Leviticus, starting the first verse. Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took their respective firepans and after putting fire in them, placed incense on it and offered strange fire before the Lord, which he had not commanded them. And fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them and they died before the Lord. Then Moses said to Aaron, it is what the Lord spoke saying, by those who come near me I will be treated as holy and before all the people I will be honored. Aaron therefore kept silent. Moses is saying, don't you understand Aaron that your priesthood is one of holiness and yours is a priesthood to me. Aaron didn't minister to the house, he ministered unto the Lord. Now, Zadok is a type of that and I'm going to show that to you in just a minute. Zadok, listen to it now. I'm going to repeat this and I want you to hear it loud and clear. Are not Zadok and Abiathar the priest with you there? There were two priests during David's reign, Zadok and Abiathar. Now Zadok in Hebrew is Zadok and it means one proven righteous. A priest who's proven righteous. Abiathar, the other priest in Hebrew is Ebiathar, it means at peace with the Lord who is my God. Now they both sound like good names, don't they? Abiathar is a pious holy man. Zadok, his very name means holiness but so does Abiathar. There are two priests under David's reign. I want you to see that now. Let's look at Zadok first of all. Go to first Corinthians, the 12th chapter. First Corinthians, the 12th chapter please. You still say you love the word? All right, I'm going to prove it. I'm going to have you go all through this Bible. I want you to go to first Corinthians 12th chapter. First Corinthians 12th chapter. I'm going to show you Zadok, priesthood. First Corinthians 12, I'm going to start with verse 1. Now these are the ones who came to David at Ziklag while he was still restricted because of Saul the son of Kish and they were among the mighty men who helped him in war. Would you look this way for just a moment? Do you remember when David was being chased by Saul and he's at Ziklag and people are coming to him or fed up with the ministry of Saul and they know the kingdom has been stripped from him so they're beginning to flock to David and Zadok is one of those who came to David at Ziklag. Remember Ziklag is where he lost everything. They burned the city down and took his family captive. Skip down to verse 22. First Chronicles. Did I say, what did I tell you? I'm sorry. First Chronicles. First Chronicles. First Chronicles. Boy, I do have you going through the Bible, don't I? First Chronicles 12. I'll wait for you to find that. First Chronicles 12. Folks, do you understand that the Bible is its own commentary? That the Bible interprets itself? You really don't need any other book. Now there are other good books but really this book interprets itself and I'm going to show you that before we're finished tonight. All right. First Chronicles the 12th chapter verse 1. Now these are the ones who came to David at Ziklag while he was still restricted because of Saul. All right. You see Zadok is the one who came. Look at verse 22. These are the ones. For day by day men came to David to help him until there was a great army like the army of God. Now these are the numbers of the divisions equipped for war who came to David to Hebron to turn the kingdom of Saul to him according to the word of the Lord. Skip down to verse 26. Of the sons of Levi 4,600. Now Jehoiada was the leader of the house of Aaron and with him were 3,700. Also who? Zadok a young man mighty of valor and of his father's house 22 captains. 22 captains. All right now you can look at me please. You see David now doesn't even he's not yet even in his kingdom but Zadok sees something in David. He said this is a man of God and God spoke to his heart and said I'm going to follow this man. He set his heart on David's kingdom. Now I want you to know from this time on as deep as a young man Zadok never once swerved from his faith in this man's kingdom. David is a type of our Christ. You understand that he's a type of Jesus Christ in this story and all through the bible I can show you at least 15 scriptures have proved that even Christ himself saw him as a type of himself. He never once swerved from this moment when Zadok as a young man comes to zigzag to follow David with his 22 captains of his house. They all come and said David we're going to follow you. He never swerved from that day on. This is the priest Zadok. I want you to see that now. He was always there when David needed. I want you to go to 2 Samuel 15. 2 Samuel 15. If you're going to go to 2 Samuel you're going to go backwards. Go back to 2 Samuel 15. As soon as you get that I want you to turn up here and look at me for just a minute. Now young people listen to me. I've been preaching since I was 14 years old and I traveled all over the world telling story after story and about five years ago God shut me down and hid me away and I sat down my crusade ministry and God said you eat the book and God told me I'd better be a bible preacher because it's only the bible that changes lives it's not stories. I'm not going to tell you any stories. I'm going to give you the word of God and if you love the word of God it's going to change your life. I didn't come up all the way here from Dallas Texas just to tell you stories and to get you to shout. I came to ask God by his Holy Ghost to change your very character. He's been changing my life through his word and I want you to feel that change in you happening. You'll sense it before this meeting is over tonight. You'll sense the word itself beginning to change you not what I say but what you see with your own eyes here and I want you to follow me so you see it yourself. All right 1st Samuel or 2nd Samuel rather 2nd Samuel 15 start at verse 23. By the way to set up this story remember that Absalom has turned against David. David's come into his kingdom now and Absalom is chasing him and he's having a pass of the river Kidron and he's weeping as he goes and all the faithful people are going with David. Verse 23 while all the country was weeping with a loud voice all the people passed over the king also passed over the brook Kidron and all the people passed over toward the way of the wilderness now behold Zadok also what came Zadok also came David's running from the enemy but where was Zadok's heart his heart was with David he said this man is going over the Kidron I go with him wherever David goes I go nothing will move me this man was committed to the kingdom of David David came and all Zadok also came and all the Levites with him carrying the ark of the covenant of God and they set down the ark of God and Abiathar came up until all the people had finished until all the people had finished passing from the city and the king said to Zadok return the ark of God to the city if I find favor in the sight of the Lord then he will bring me back again and show me both it in his habitation but if he should say thus I have no delight in you behold here I am let him do to me it seems good to him the king said also to Zadok the priest are you not a seer in other words don't you have discernment I know you have discernment Zadok is what David's saying return to the city in peace and your two sons with you your son Ahimaz and Jonathan the son of Abiathar see I'm going to wait at the fjords of the wilderness until word comes from you to inform me skip down to verse 35 and are not Zadok and Abiathar the priest with you there so it shall be that whatsoever you hear from the king's house you shall report to Zadok and Abiathar the priest all right now you can look this way again oh look at this picture if you will Zadok says David I'm with you David looks at Zadok and he said the kingdom is in ruins Jerusalem is troubled my son is in rebellion you're a man that has discernment you've been faithful to me and I know you want to go with me but I want you to go back you go back to the city and you watch I know you're strong enough that that city won't get into you the rebellion won't touch you because I know you're faithful to me he trusted this man he trusted this priest I just came from New York City and I've got a broken heart just came from our street rallies preach the preachers and I see New York City getting into those men of God many of them I see the corruption I see the adultery I see so much sin creeping in to the lives of ministers of the gospel they're in the city but worse the city is in them but David trusted this man he said you have discernment Zadok are you not a seer you see things that few others see you're strong enough you're committed to me and I'm going to trust you to save the kingdom you spy out Absalom you mark every move that he makes and then you send your two sons and you tell me I'll be waiting in the wilderness and he sent Zadok back into the city as a missionary in his behalf returned to the city he had another man there by the name of Hushai in the court and they said I want I want you in this middle of rebellion to stand out in that city as a man after my heart and in the city of Jerusalem while it was in turmoil and rebellion there were two men were three because even at this time Abiathar was not in the rebellion he too passed over the Kidron and I'm going to show you that in a minute but you see there's a remnant there's a priesthood in Jerusalem now that nothing could touch Absalom couldn't get to him nobody could touch this man why where was his heart out in the wilderness with David his heart was with David he knew who the real king was at the very seat of evil and disobedience while Absalom was up on the rooftop committing adultery with all of his harem he was committing adultery laying with David's uh harem while all of this adultery and filth and lewdness was going on in the house of God there was a holy man you walked into the altar and there was a man of God whose heart was with David and we're living in a day of rebellion Absalom is ruler of the land total rebellion against the kingdom of Jesus Christ but thank God there's still a priesthood there are holy men and women of God who are not compromising their hearts in the wilderness with their savior hallelujah outside the walls of the city and all the while he's faithful God's building Zadok an enduring house he's saying from now on there's always going to be a man like Zadok for me in a time of rebellion remember what the man said what did he say I'm going to build me a priesthood what did what what did what was the property faithful priest will do according to what is in my heart and in my soul what was Zadok doing in Jerusalem he was doing according to David's heart according to what was in his soul is that correct do you see that priesthood that he prophesied that man oh I wish I knew who that man was that came to steal I and made this amazing prophecy that they'll been enduring priesthood forever a faithful priest that will do according to his mind in his own heart so here it is it's Zadok Zadok hallelujah turn with me if you will Ezekiel 43 Ezekiel 43 by the way if you don't know where to find Jeremiah and go one more two more Ezekiel 43 verse 19 uh just just leave your Bible there and look at me for a moment I want you to realize that in the 43rd chapter of Ezekiel you you find the prophet Ezekiel having a vision of a of a temple but it's a vision temple it's not a real temple was never built never will be built it's a type of the church it's a type of of a remnant that he's trying to raise up from the last day and in this vision temple of Ezekiel he said there are going to be some holy men at this altar that minister to the Lord look at verse 19 and you shall give to the Levitical priest who are from the what the offspring of Zadok who draw near to me to minister to me now what does the NIV say that is that pretty close to what the NIV says all right Ezekiel 43 verse 19 Ezekiel 43 19 I'm going to read it again you shall give to Levitical priests who are from the offspring of Zadok didn't the prophet say I'm going to build an enduring house this is the offspring of this kind of priesthood the offspring of Zadok and what does the Zadok priesthood do they draw near to me to minister to me declares the Lord God you shall give a young bull for sin offering all right now you can look this way if you will you see we're trailing this priesthood right through the Bible now this Zadok priesthood the offspring of Zadok I'm going to show you tonight that you're the offspring of Zadok if your heart's pure before the Lord and you come to minister to the Lord in your hearts given to him clean hands and a pure heart and that's your whole life that's what Zadok was his whole life was wrapped up in the kingdom of David his heart never once swerved I told you and if your heart is not swerved if you stand out against the rebellion that's in the world today if your heart hungers for the righteousness of Jesus Christ you're the offspring of the priest Zadok you're a Zadok priesthood hallelujah these are the ones who are going to make the offering you give the young bull you go to the altar you give the bull to the offspring of Zadok hallelujah our priesthood is coming into prominence in fact it's the preeminent ministry in the United States of America today and it's spreading around the world and I what I know and what I've heard in my mail this same kind of ministry spreading in Canada God help us the Abiathar priesthood this is the descendancy of Levi this is the seed of Levi this is the cursed ministry that's under a curse from the time that this man stood and prophesied before Eli if you remember remember you don't turn but in 2nd Samuel 15 24 remember when Zadok crossed the Kidron when David's running from Absalom it says and Abiathar also went with him Abiathar said I'm not going to fall for this rebellion of Absalom Absalom's wrong my heart's with David remember what Abiathar's name means peace with God who is my Lord isn't that a holy pious name it represents the lordship of Christ here's a man who's under the lordship of Jesus everywhere I go I meet Krishna I believe in the lordship of Christ I'm under the lordship I have peace with God Abiathar can say that and for a good part of his life Abiathar walked with David just like Zadok did same way he appears outwardly holy blameless faithful but why alter the Bible why do the prophets ignore Abiathar and exalt Zadok why is Abiathar forgotten and why does Solomon curse him and I'm going to show you that curse in just a moment because there's something in this man you remember what the three curses were remember he said that there was going to be a weakness this is going to be a weak priesthood that also said that there would be a time that it looked like they were going to come into fullness and they don't go all the way they never do come into fullness they get out of Egypt but they never get into Canaan land in other words and it says just at the moment of the fullness of life they were going to die it's a spiritual death there's a fall coming I'm going to show it to you now 2nd Samuel turn back please 2nd Samuel 15th chapter I'm going to show you something amazing this is an amazing scripture I'm going to show you 2nd Samuel 15th chapter so I'll tell you what I've already covered that verse 35 especially if you have it there just just turn to verse 35 2nd Samuel 15 35 and are not Zadok and Abiathar the priest with you there and go back to verse I want to show you this before I go any further verse 24 it says in the last part of that verse and Abiathar came up until all the people had finished passing from the city now let me show you look at that verse for a moment doesn't Zadok go across the river and doesn't Abiathar go with him up to this time do you understand that Abiathar is a man of God he's still under the lordship of David that's what I want to show you now go to first kings move over to first kings if you will please the first chapter first kings one still love the word raise your hand wave it at me still the word raise your hand come on now wave it some of you're not waving it how many are already tired of the scripture you're tired of turning you want me to quit or you want the rest of it all right let's go on then first kings one hey you know what you know what you know what happened you know what's happened to Pentecostal faith we're so used to having a pastor get up and take a texan spoon feed us you don't even need your bible that's wrong that's dead wrong we have to have this word hidden in our hearts all right first kings first chapter let's start reading at the fifth verse first kings one first chapter first kings verse five now we're going to talk about another rebellion and Adonijah the son of Haggad exalted himself saying I will be king so he prepared for himself chariots and horsemen with 50 men to run before him and his father had never crossed him at any time by asking why have you done so and he was also a very handsome man he was born after Absalom now look at this shocking verse verse 7 and he had conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah and with Abathar Abiathar the priest and following Adonijah they helped him but Zadok the priest Benaniah the son of Jehoiada Nathan the prophet Shimei Reah and the mighty men who belonged to David were not with Adonijah and Adonijah sacrificed sheep and oxen and fatlings by the stone of Zohelah which is beside in grog in Rogel and he invited all his brothers and the king's sons and all the men of Judah the king's service now look at this but he did not invite Nathan the prophet Benaniah the mighty man and Solomon his brother all right look at verse 7 and he had conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah and with the Abiathar the priest and following Adonijah they helped him but Zadok the priest did not all right now look this way gonna see the curse of Eli coming out in this man a man whose name means what told you I want you to get it now it means peace with God and God is my Lord it's what his name means they named the children after their characteristics this is what they prophesied would be his characteristic from childhood now there's another rebellion by this time David's an old man in fact David is so old they get a but you'll find it in the first part Abishag most beautiful girl in the kingdom and bring him to David and there's a story that I don't quite understand how they try to revive this old man David don't even want to go and do it yet but here's here's an amazing thing look at this now here comes Adonijah you know what it says the Bible says and he exalted himself you see self being exalted oh I don't gentlemen I don't know what you're facing here in Canada but the United States of America in the lower kingdom it's a kingdom of self self-success prosperity self exaltation you'd be surprised how many priests of the Lord are following Adonijah now this is rebellion you understand it's rebellion just like Absalom you see what my Bible says it says in years and following Adonijah they helped him if you'll read on in that story you'll find that Adonijah is lusting after Abishag in fact after his plot is exposed he still goes to Solomon says give me that woman he's lusting he's got a spirit of adultery in him and Abiathar goes with Adonijah down look at that in verse 8 the verse 9 and they sacrifice and fatlings at the stone of Zoheleth you know what Zoheleth means the stone of the serpent in Hebrew it means serpent the stone of the serpent now here's a man of God saying to himself the old ways aren't working David's kingdom is dead as far as I'm concerned his heart left David his heart was no longer with David and he goes down with Adonijah down to the stone of the serpent and there he sacrifices and I want you to know that Nathan the prophet wasn't there and Solomon wasn't there and Zadok wasn't there there wasn't a holy man in a whole bunch I want to tell you something the people who are into self-exalting ministries run in packs they run in bunches you go to their conferences and you'll find them all trying to strengthen one another and the reason for that I believe there's a nagging inner feeling a sense that they're wrong and they have to reinforce one another in their doctrine of self-exaltation self-success self-promotion my bible says that Adonijah exalted himself watch out young people when you get around a ministry that has that talks about success self-exaltation self-promotion watch out because you're sacrificing at the stone of the serpent that's what it means look it up in Hebrew and you'll find out that what I'm telling you is the truth but you see now they're crying for a new kind of priesthood Biathar walks away from Zadok boy I just hope we can see the difference between these two priesthoods of Biathars coming under the curse of Eli's house because you see all along there's been underneath the surface there's been some pride there's been lust there's been rebellion that's never been dealt with it doesn't mean that he was eternally cursed he didn't have to go that way but he had this stadium that was never dealt with I know young ministers like that young ministers who just at the height of God's blessing they come under distress they follow Adonijah on the rebellion of self-exaltation they want to be somebody they go after reputation they go after name they go after numbers I don't know about here but the United States we have a cho call Dr. Cho from Korea has 250,000 members in his church and now we've got preachers all of America want 25 50,000 it's a numbers game a numbers racket and all kinds of young men of God are lusting now after the numbers and after the power and after the authority and after the success that's the stone of the serpent pastor that's not this priesthood that's a Biathar priesthood under a curse and you see this coming out in a Biathar now why would a man who has peace with God go after this rebellion there's something in him coming out that's never been dealt with there's a seat of lust why is it that a pastor friend of mine in a big church down in south part of the United States has to stand in front of his congregation Sunday morning one of the most used men I've ever met and stand up and confess that he's been going to x-rated movies and the only reason he confesses that his deacons found him Saturday night coming out of an x-rated house why is it that so many young people now are parked in front of their tv set watching x-rated and r-rated movies and junk why are some of you sitting here right now who come here and cover the altar with tears and say that you belong to Lord Jesus Christ and you watch those music tapes that are incubated in hell because there's a seed that hasn't been dealt with there's something that's coming to the surface you're turning to the stone of the serpent you're still sacrificing before the Lord but now you're before the serpent now I want to I want you to turn to verse 32 and 35 same chapter do you remember what Nathan did he went to David he said do you understand that Adonijah's pronounced himself king did you say that that's that Adonijah's to be the king and he said no Solomon's to be king and look what verse 32 says then King David said come to me Zadok the priest get me a holy man there's trouble there's rebellion I want a holy man around me go get Zadok hallelujah go get Zadok the priest and get Nathan the prophet and Benaniah and they came under the into the king's presence go to verse 38 so Zadok the priest Nathan the prophet Benaniah the son of Jehoiada and the cherethites and the pelethites went down and had Solomon ride on King David's mule and brought him to Gihon Zadok the priest then took the horn of oil from the tent and anointed Solomon in that wonderful what God will do for a man who stays true to him he's the one who gets to anoint the king hallelujah crowns him king then they blew the trumpet and all the people said long live King Solomon and all the people went up after him and the people were playing on flutes and rejoiced with great joy so that the earth shook at their noise now Adonijah and all the guests who were with him heard it as they were finished eating when Job heard the sound of the trumpet he said why is the city making such an uproar while he was still speaking behold Jonathan the son of Abiathar the priest came now remember Abiathar was in that meeting then Adonijah said come in for you are a valiant man and you bring good news but Jonathan answered and said to Adonijah no our Lord King David has made Solomon king the king also has sent with him Zadok the priest hallelujah God's still on his throne and his holy man is with him glory be to God boy look at verse 45 Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king in Gihon verse 46 besides Solomon has even taken his seat on the throne of the kingdom hey who was standing right beside King Solomon pouring the oil over his head who was it Zadok the holy man of God in an hour of need praise the Lord hallelujah turn to first Kings 2 just next chapter I want to show you the mate pastors you won't believe it's in your Bible turn turn to verse 26 verse 26 first Kings second chapter verse 26 I want to show you amazing scripture then to Abiathar the priest this is Solomon now then to Abiathar the priest the king said go to Anathar to your own field for you deserve to die you see it that's the Abiathar priesthood but I will not put you to death at this time remember that that's the prophecy I'm not going to cut off this priesthood you'll continue said I'm not going to kill you because you carried the ark of the Lord God before my father gave him because you were afflicted and everything with which my father was afflicted so Solomon dismissed Abiathar from being priest to the Lord listen now in order to fulfill the word of the Lord which he had spoken concerning the house of Eli and Silo who was it the man here he is Solomon knew that prophecy Solomon knew it he read his word he knew it he said you've got a seed in you of Eli and I know what that prophecy is and he said I'm stripping you you have nothing to do with the kingdom I'm turning you over to yourself and I'll tell you folks nothing worse for a man or woman of God to be turned over to themselves and to be stripped of the anointing the anointing was gone the priesthood was gone he said go your own way go you're finished what a tragedy what a tragedy isn't that an amazing fulfillment of scripture all right I want to show you that Ezekiel understood that same prophecy I want you to turn to Ezekiel 40 Ezekiel 40. Now I hear somebody say oh boy here we go again Ezekiel 40 he's starting to love this book a little more huh I want to get you to looking at a powerful scripture here verse 45 Ezekiel 40 verse 45 Ezekiel 40 verse 45. All right would you lay your Bible on your lap and look this way for a minute we're back to Ezekiel's vision temple remember back to the vision temple all right now read it and he said to me this is the chamber which faces toward the south intended for the priest who kept charge of the temple but the chamber which faces toward the north is for the priest who keep charge of the altar these are the sons of Zadok who from the sons of Levi came near to the Lord to minister to him you see that this is a ministry from a ministry this is a priesthood from a priesthood Levites were all priests before the Lord they were all ministry to the Lord but look what it says who from the sons of Levi these are the sons of Zadok who from the sons of Levi came near to the Lord to minister to me okay now look at me I'm telling you prophetically and I believe this with everything it's in me that in these last days God is once again raising a Zadok remnant he is raising up young men and women who have no other goal in life but to minister to the Lord with clean hands and a pure heart in the midst of a nation and land of rebellion with sin on every side God is raising up a Zadok priesthood a remnant mind you these are the sons of Zadok from the sons of Levi I'm taking from my people a people under my name a special remnant out of the masses who call themselves by my name I'm going to have a holy special priesthood oh hallelujah I believe this with all my heart Ezekiel 43 19 just turn over we read it before but I want you to read again you shall give to the Levitical priest who are from the offspring of Zadok who draw near to me to minister to me now please draw attention Zadok who draw near to me to minister to me all right look please the ministry of a Zadok priesthood is simply this to draw near to me to minister to me that describes a Zadok priesthood did you get it there it is who from the offspring of Zadok draw near to me to minister to me that was what God told Aaron he was to do you're going to minister to me oh we talk about their signs here untold millions dying untold let's evangelize the world in this generation I go to youth conferences not and sometimes there's so much hype to it it's so much emotionalism let's go go go yes we must go but your ministry is not first to the heathen your ministry is to the Lord to draw near to his table and administer to him and out of that ministry comes the mission field comes the urge comes the call comes the vision as you ministered his table unto him now I'm going to show you what I believe it's one of the most shocking chapters in all the bible Ezekiel 44 Ezekiel 44 I want to start the 15th verse I'm going to show you the good part first 15 Ezekiel 44 15 uh how many pastors are here raise your hand please how many pastors gentlemen listen to me when I first saw this I put my head in the table and I wept like a child and I've been crossed ever since I'm going to show you the good part and I'm going to show of a horrible horrible prophecy verse 15 but the Levitical priest the who the sons of who who kept charge of my sanctuary when the sons of Israel want to stay from me they shall come near to me to minister to me did not tell you that's the sign of the priesthood to minister to the Lord they shall minister to me and they shall stand before me to offer me the fat and the blood declares the Lord God verse 16 and they shall enter my sanctuary they shall come near to my table to minister to me and keep my charge they'll come near my table they'll minister to me not to what else they're going to do I want you to skip down to verse 23 verse 23 moreover they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the profane and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean do you agree with me that that's the great need in the church today for a zadok priesthood that can stand and tell the difference between what is right and wrong clean and unclean and holy and impure say amen if you believe that i'm sick and tired of preachers standing up afraid to preach the gospel and show God's people their sins and their iniquities they accuse me of being too hard on people no that's the sign of his a doc priesthood they'll come near to me they'll minister at my table and they'll stand before my people and they'll show them the difference between right and wrong and they'll have a discerning spirit they'll show my people their sins and if you have a pastor that stands before the congregation that makes you miserable at times and he shows you the law of God in love and he preaches holiness and righteousness you can thank God that you sit under a zadok priesthood don't ever be afraid to show God's people their iniquities if you do it in love the zadok priesthood has but one goal in life and that's to minister under the lord hallelujah verse 28 and it shall be with regard to inheritance for them that i am their inheritance you shall give them no possession israel for i am their possession hey look what is our possession what about all this talk about success and wealth and prosperity no this priesthood has one possession jesus christ the lord well everybody else a biathar can go the biathar was cursed to his land in his possessions wasn't he said you go to your fields you go ahead you go enjoy your films but he said there's a priesthood going to have one possession i'm their possession hallelujah now let me show you the bad part let me show you tragedy look at me please the curse of eli's house has fallen on the church the laodicean church of the last day didn't the bible predict the last laodicean church would say would say i'm rich and pleased with goods and have need of nothing and the lord says i'm gonna spit you out of my mouth because you don't even know that you're wretched and poor and blind blind you don't even know it your sins have smeared over your eyes there's such corruption in the church now there's no discernment and that's the grief of my heart i'm going to probably preach that tomorrow god has smeared their eyes to show you why the church is losing its discernment because of sin in the camp when you sin you lose your discernment verse 40 chapter 44 verse let's go back up now verse 5 and the lord said to me ezekiel 44 verse 5 and the lord said to me son of man mark well see with your eyes and hear with your ears all that i say to you concerning all the statues of the house of the lord and concerning all its laws and mark well the entrance of the house and all exits of the sanctuary hey people look he's he's telling the priest he's telling all of us it's coming a day that they're going to be priests who pervert the entrances and hide the exits they're not even going to know how to tell people to come into the fullness of jesus christ to be their only possession because they themselves as ministers of the gospel don't know how they've not marked well the entrances he said they're going to be people that have walked out of the exits of my house and they won't even know their way back because these men have hidden the exits they're perverting the entrances and hiding the exits you shall say to the rebellious ones to the house of israel thus said the lord god enough enough of all your abominations or house of israel god says i've had enough i've had enough of this blindness i've had enough of this perverting the entrances and hiding the exits enough of your abominations you brought in foreigners uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh to be in my sanctuary to profane it even in my house and you've offered my food and the fat and the blood well they made cover my covenant void this in addition to all your other abominations you have not kept charge of my holy things yourselves but you set foreigners to keep charge of my sanctuary now people verse nine is the beginning of the abitur priesthood in this last day and this is a prophecy from ezekiel about the day in which you and i live this is the united states and canada and this is the cursed priesthood that i see coming all across the country thus says the lord god verse 9 verse 10 let's go to verse 9 thus said the lord god no foreigner uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh of all the foreigners were among the sons of israel so enter my sanctuary but the levites who went far from me when israel went astray who went astray from me after their idols shall bear the punishment for their iniquity all right look this way don't read any further here's do you see what the bible says about this priesthood this is the abitur priesthood now he said they've got idols in their heart they've turned away from me where did they go down to the stone of the serpent they've gone after rebellion they've gone after exaltation of the flesh right you won't believe what i'm about to read you look at verse 10 verse 11 yet they shall be ministers in my sanctuary having oversight at the gates of the house and ministering in the house they shall slaughter the burnt offering the sacrifices for the people and they shall stand before them to minister to them now do you understand what you're reading you're you're hearing what that man told eli come to pass right before your eyes and mine god said i'm not going to cut off that cursed priesthood it's going to last and you're going to have men stand before you god said if you were a holy people i'd give you shepherds after my own heart but you want wickedness you want rebellion you have idols in your heart i'm going to give you shepherds with idols in their hearts it'll minister to your idols they won't come near to me but they'll minister in the house i will appoint them as ministers in my house jimmy swaggered asked me one day i was holding a crusade with him in his headquarters and he said david i don't understand you keep prophesying that these ministries are full of adultery and iniquity are going to fall but they keep going on and on and on i kept saying oh jimmy one day they're going to fall a lot of the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people they shall stand before them to minister to them let's go on it gets worse because they ministered to them before their idols and became a stumbling block of iniquity the house of israel therefore i've sworn against them declares the lord that they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity and by the way the punishment is god says i'm going to take my presence away from them they're going to stand in the pulpit they're going to minister in the flesh to the flesh there's nothing worse than a man of god ministering without the anointing of the holy ghost there's nothing worse than a man in the pulpit that's in the flesh verse 13 and they shall not come near to me to serve as a priest to me nor come near to any of my holy things to the things that are most holy they shall bear their shame and abomination what they've committed look at this yet i will appoint them to keep charge of the house of all its service and of all that shall be done in it i'll i'm appointing you priest full of idols who have adultery in their hearts not in the pulpit i won't let them i'll let them alone they'll stay there i'll appoint them to minister to the house they'll not come near my table they won't minister to me but they'll minister to the house that's why men who have adultery go on and on and on that's why television ministries that are vile and corrupt go on and on and on i turn on some of the christian television programmings and i don't see jesus at all i see men begging for money i see abomination i see the curse of levi i see a biophar and my prayers but oh god bring it down and then i read no that's what they want turn to jeremiah 5 30 and i'll show you why they won't be removed jeremiah 5 verse 30 jeremiah 5 verse 30 i'll wait for you i hear some leaves rustling jeremiah 5 30 an appalling horrible thing has happened in the land the prophets prophesy falsely and the priest rule on their own authority and my people love it so my people love it i look at some of them the garbage and i say god where are your discerning people it seems the more foolish some preachers get the bigger their dreams and schemes of the flesh the more the people love it young people don't go that way oh god give us clean hands and a pure heart so we get back our gift of discernment so we can discern this foolishness hallelujah what will you do at the end of it all it says what will you do at the end of it all now i'm going to ask you something pastor youth leader christian worker young person what i've just read you caused me to tremble in my spirit i'm trembling before you right now do you you tremble when you hear god say i will appoint these men i'll appoint them yep they're going to minister in my house in the house but then doesn't it also make you rejoice to know that he's going to raise up a remnant turn to first peter too not too many more just hold on a little bit here now trying to make it down easy first peter two glory to god you have it first peter two verse five and you also as living stones are being built up as a spiritual house for what kind of priesthood holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifice acceptable to god through jesus christ verse nine but you are a chosen race a royal priesthood a holy nation of people for god's own possession that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light out of the darkness the abiator priesthood into the glorious faithfulness and blamelessness of the zadok priesthood hallelujah glory to god i want you to turn i'm going to give you just one more one more and that's it acts the 12th chapter go to acts please acts the 12th chapter i want you to we're going to read verse 25 and then i'm going to read verse 13 the first two or three verses this is acts 12 verse 25 and barnabas and saul returned from jerusalem when they had fulfilled their mission taking along with them john who was also named mark all right called mark verse or chapter 13 verse 1 now there weren't antioch in the church that was there prophets and teachers barnabas and simeon who was called niger and lucius of serene and man and who had been brought up with her the tetra console and while what did i tell you was the mark of zadok priesthood ministering to the lord and while they were what ministering to the lord there's the zadok priesthood they were ministering to lord and fasting the holy spirit said set apart for me barnabas and saul for the work to which i've called them verse three then when they fasted and prayed laid hands on them they sent them away verse four so being sent out by the holy spirit they went being sent out by the holy spirit they went all right look here close it well stay there did this work okay uh i said when they finished their mission you know where do i go from here in other words where'd they go they went with the brothers and they waited on the lord ministered to the lord and while they were ministering to the lord and fasting the holy ghost said the holy ghost spake what about the dying untold millions around the world i'm 54 years old now preached around the world i'm dividing my time now between new york and some overseas work ministering to preachers and students and i tell young people after it's all said and done anything i've ever been privileged to do for jesus every mandate i've ever had didn't come out of a conference didn't come out of a meeting like this it didn't come out of a preacher consulting with me it came out of my secret closet when i ministered to the lord and when i was ministering to the lord i felt his heartbeat he gave me his burden i began to weep over the things that made him weep no one had to beg me i've just come out of a five months in a secret closet with a prophecy called set the trumpet to your mouth a book about judgment on the united states i believe america is going to be destroyed hydrogen bombs and most of southern canada and i believe god's given me the proof and i believe it could happen before this century closes because in 1994 is the end of 6 000 years it's all over very soon nobody knows the time or the date but when it happens i want to be on the streets of new york ministering i want to be in poland i want to be somewhere we're going to poland and hungary for meetings in april we're down in peru in october but everywhere i go now i'm going to poland because that's where the lord told me to go when i was ministering to him in prayer the fasting and they were in their zadok ministry ministering to the lord and the holy ghost spake you pick up your bags out of zeal and emotion and you head off to zimbabwe you head off to south africa you head off to china you head off to hong kong go anywhere you were you'll be back in a year because the holy ghost didn't send you because you didn't go under a zadok mandate hallelujah he said i'm going to raise up men after my own heart women after my own heart priest after my own heart who will minister to me and do after my heart hallelujah i want god to change you this week and i want you to change i want you to see that your greatest calling is not to just come to church and pray we're making an idol out of praise now in america i don't know what you're doing here but we we praise praise we've got some churches in america so proud of the way they praise god it's an idol nobody praises like you got to come to our church and see our praise and then we get to having faith in our faith we get it all mixed up when all he said you come and minister to me that's what this whole thing's about no hype no games clean hands and a pure heart you get that seed of lust out of you you know this i'm going to close pastors especially in that book i wrote i have a chapter about the music of devils in god's house and i've had a resurrection band came to see me a christian punk rock group called philadelphia i've heard from a group called isaiah i mean i go down the line and they come into my office you know what they tell me david this is what resurrection band told me it goes on with petra i go on and on and on they said david young people not gonna listen to old prophets like you anymore by the way i don't i don't see myself as a prophet i'm a watchman said we are the new prophets we are rock and roll prophets and god's making us popular so that we can take that popularity and bring him to jesus i said well i don't know son but i've just spent five months on my face and my bible tells me that the table the lord is full of vomit you're bringing filthy sacrifices polluted by the world putting on my table that which is born in the womb of the devil and you're sacrificing it to me and i feel the wrath of god against this punk thing that's coming into god's house you know what i was told i don't care if you fast and pray for a year i don't care how much scripture you quote we're the prophets we're the prophets and i'm i'm so overwhelmed at the letters i'm getting from christian young people college students whose whose idol is rock and roll christian rock so much of an idol they don't even listen to my prophecy that bombs are going to fall and that babel is going to be wiped out in one hour according to the 17th chapter revelation and when our judgment's coming they skip over all of that they skip over everything else and said you touch my idol that's what they're saying if i stood here tonight i started talking about i'd touch your idol many of you i'd touch your idol because there's no discernment and i'll tell you why they're drawing crowds i'll tell you why god doesn't shut it down god said they have idols in their heart did not tell you this way said they had idols in their heart the stumbling block i will appoint them you want it you get it they're going to minister to your idol it's going to get worse in the church right now in sweden they have now what they call thump rock and slammer rock even christian kids thumping and slamming on the back getting all hyped up and slamming and hitting one another here comes the christian punk rock and before they go out they lay over the bed get their hairs 18 inches long straight down cover it so it sticks out like a spike with all kinds of junk put on spandex pants very revealing spandex pants chains and belts whips and just because they have jesus words to it it's all right i'll appoint them i'll appoint them i'll tell you something young people god's going to raise up a holy remnant it'll be less than 10 of the christian body i can prove that from the bible less than 10 there'll be a 10th remain and i'll tell you what if you're in the zadok priesthood we're going to minister the lord go to him with all your heart and soul and strength there's something turning in you right now there's a drawing you've sensed it in the last year especially calling out there's a hunger for the word like you've never had before there's something you're saying enough something's wrong the church is going the wrong way there are men who are in the flesh they don't speak to my heart i want i want more i want reality i can't live with my sin anymore i'm not going to make excuses anymore i want holiness and righteousness and purity before god you're being drawn you're being stirred you're being changed you're not going to be parking yourself in front of a tv set watching stuff make you laugh when you should be crying you're going to be in this book saturating your life you're going to hunger and thirst you're going to weep between the porch and the altar you're going to say jesus i want to see you like i've never seen you before i want to spread of wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of the lord jesus christ i don't want to go the way of the crowd i'm stepping out i'm stepping out i don't know who among you god's put his hand on but he's doing it and before i leave here i know he's going to do it with a lot of you he's going to raise up god's promise he's going to raise up some of that zadok priesthood right here in this meeting i'm going to raise you up and set you apart with a hunger and a thirst you won't go out judging people you go out with a humble spirit weeping broken and oh god i didn't know how far away i was from this i'm going to preach repentance every time i'm up here i was at brooklyn tabernacle tabernacle a couple weeks ago in brooklyn a great church probably seven to eight ten thousand going through there on sundays services all day long and after about the third service i'd preach repentance repentance repentance and this is about the fourth service i said pastor do you think all your people are repented out now is there anything left he said i don't think so but while i was preaching god spoke to my heart said david you preached this your fourth time but most of them haven't even yet understood they're not even opening their hearts they're still rebelling and god began to open the word and a third of that congregation came flooding forward at the close of the service finally after the fourth time it got through god wants us not just to repent one time but to live in a state of repentance and to come to the light and let every hidden part of our life be exposed and opened up to him oh holy spirit do that tonight open our hearts open our hearts bring us to the light take the idols down tear down every idol this weekend young people you got your heads about for just a minute i'm not going to give an altar call at least i don't think i am if the holy ghost does it's fine i'm going to tell you what i know in the spirit i know it somebody have idols in your heart you came to this meeting with idols in your heart i don't know what it is but there's an idol
