Welcome to the Lord's Challenge with Joshua Daniel. The Layman's Evangelical Fellowship International is a ministry reaching people from all walks of life since 1935. After a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ at the age of 16, Joshua Daniel has been declaring the marvelous deliverance from sin which is freely given to all those who turn to the loving Saviour. From small villages to large cities, in many parts of the globe, through revival meetings, literature, radio, internet, and television, Joshua Daniel has been tirelessly laboring, trusting God to supply all that is needed. Wherever this message has gone out, broken relationships have been restored, sickness healed, ill-gotten money returned, and thieves turn into givers. We now invite you to watch and receive the invaluable blessing that God has for you. Now, dear friends, you know this very familiar story that our dear Lord entered in a triumphant note into Jerusalem. Whereas a king would be on a mighty horse, our Lord chose an unbroken court. Now, how many of you would like to ride a horse that was never broken? He will kick up his heels and throw you over, and you will go tumbling. An unbroken horse doesn't like a rider, doesn't like somebody who has the stirrups and the bridle. No, they don't like it. An unbroken court. Now, that's what we are exactly. When we come to the Lord Jesus, oh, you can imagine how self-willed, stubborn, asinine you were. But those qualities somehow persist, you know. They continue. It's very sad, but that's what happens. When Jesus was on this court, you see, the people took no notice of him. They looked only, they were saying, Hosanna to the king. They were not thinking of the court. But you know, some of these courts like everybody to look at them. And especially when some of these courts get on the television and so on, that old quality of the court is very prominent. See, everybody is looking at me, you see, the knot on my tie. And who would want a court that draws all the attention of everybody? I recall, I must tell you this. I was standing in Fleet Street, and you know, one of these royal coaches carrying some royalty or someone very big. The traffic was all clear. Central London. And of course, when the royal coach is coming along, you will have these big horses, you know, going ahead. And some of these horses hardly know how to behave. So while all the crowd was looking for royalty or the important person coming by, these horses got our attention. So they got the attention of the crowd in the wrong sort of way. But let me tell you, when you are one of those courts that are unfit to carry Jesus, that's what you will do. You will do a lot of things which are unfit, which are not worthy, which are just beside the point. Suppose we cut off from our lives all these things which are beside the point. All these wasteful detours. You know, I never like to see a detour sign on the road. And it takes you through all small streets, gets you off your route, and somewhere they bring you back to the road. I don't like them because they are so wasteful in time. Now, if you can remove all the detours and all the court-like improprieties in your life, how would it be? My, how marvelous if all the wastage in our lives had been eliminated. Some people write to me, as someone wrote recently, or, well, I was converted at 35 or 40 or something. That's the saddest part of my life. When I gave over the reins fully to Jesus. Of course, it is the saddest part of your life. Because you have no sense of balance. Now here, the Lord Jesus had all the attention. And you would almost think that 37th verse of Luke 19, and when he was come night, even now at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loved voice. Now, so there was a multitude of disciples there, which mingled with that crowd. You see? And they did not say, oh, let's be very proper. Let's not shout. Or, but with a loved voice, they declared the mighty works, or they praised God for all the mighty works that they had seen. Suppose all of us would be made to sit down and write all the works, which no doctor could have done. In other words, we have been to many doctors. And we know that sometimes the doctors treated the symptoms. They could not treat the cause, because they did not know the cause. They tried hard to find the cause, but they did not know the cause. And, however,
