Sermon Transcription
Renew the right spirit in me. Let's rise up and tell the Lord with conviction. You've heard those great, great promises of God. What God said, He will do. Now you want to give the Lord a chance in your life to get that done. It was to forgive you if you're a saint. It was to cleanse you if your life is dirty. If you're a defiled demon, so much longer you should clean with the precious blood of Jesus. Without that cleansing, you cannot depart me to heaven. That's why you want to tell the Lord. Oh Lord, I've heard your promise. I've heard those great, great things in the covenant you're making with your people. And Lord, I come. That you will do it for me just like you have said. You said you will forgive. You said you will save. You said you will convert. You said you will turn my heart towards you. Away from sin, away from evil, away from defilement. You said you will purify my thoughts, purify my heart. And you said you will lead me in the way of righteousness and holiness. Oh Lord, I come. That you will do what you have said you will do. I no more doubt. I no more disbelieve. I come believing. I come accepting. I come appropriating. The promises you have given me in the covenant. Lord, here am I. Defilement cannot get to heaven. I want to get to heaven. Cleanse me of every form of defilement. Sin can never enter there. Sin will never enter heaven. So if at the judgment bow, your soul sin shall mar. You can never enter there. But this is the day of cleansing. It is the day of purifying. It is the day of reconciling, reconnecting with the Lord again. So that you will take all that defilement and all those abominations and all the sins. They will take everything away. Great is the promise in the covenant. To give you a new heart. To cleanse your heart. To purge your heart. To purify you and to make you holy. And to give you that kind of constant, personal, persistent, continual holiness. Holiness day and night. Before the almighty God all the days of your life. That's what he said over again. Our conviction is, oh Lord, you can be everything. Our conviction is, Lord, nothing shall be possible unto you. Our conviction is, oh Lord, there is nothing to hide from you. You can take the stony heart out. Take the rebellion out. Give the heart of flesh. Salt. Humble. Winning. Surrendered. Consecrated. Beware lest you despise or wander and perish. Beware of the great cost of unbelief. The great devastating consequence of unbelief. Come before the Lord. Blessed are the pure in heart. For they shall see God. For the peace of all men and for holiness. Without which no man shall see the Lord. We shall say to the heel of the Lord, who shall stand in that holy heel? They that have clean hands and a pure heart. Clean hands and a pure heart. Clean hands and a pure heart. That's why I promise I'll sprinkle clean water upon you. And you shall be clean. From all your cleanness, all your defilements, I will cleanse you. Cleanse your heart. Cleanse your spirit. Even cleanse your memory. Cleanse your mind. Cleanse your life. Cleanse your behavior. Cleanse your character, your conduct. That's what I said I will do. I'll cleanse you. Then He said I will give you a new heart. And a new spirit will I put within you. He said I will take away the stormy heart out of your flesh. I will give you what you promised, what you promised, what you promised. I will give you a heart of flesh. Give Him a chance to do it in your life. Give Him a chance to do it in your life. He is able. He is able to set you free from sin. Able to give you a pure life, a righteous life, a holy life. Able to make you pure within and pure without. Pure while you are in the church and pure while you are outside the church. Able to touch your very heart, your mind, your purpose, your very motive. Able. Able to accomplish the great promise in His covenant. If you are not sleeping, He is able to restore you. And He is able to give you the humility to go back to the people you have deceived. The people you have led astray.
