Keith Daniel

Keith Daniel (1946 - 2021). South African evangelist and Bible teacher born in Cape Town to Jack, a businessman and World War II veteran, and Maud. Raised in a troubled home marked by his father’s alcoholism, he ran away as a teen, facing family strife until his brother Dudley’s conversion in the 1960s sparked his own at 20. Called to ministry soon after, he studied at Glenvar Bible College, memorizing vast Scripture passages, a hallmark of his preaching. Joining the African Evangelistic Band, he traveled across South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and made over 20 North American tours, speaking at churches, schools, and IBLP Family Conferences. Daniel’s sermons, like his recitation of the Sermon on the Mount, emphasized holiness, repentance, and Scripture’s authority. Married to Jenny le Roux in 1978, a godly woman 12 years his junior, they had children, including Roy, and ministered together. He authored no books but recorded 200 video sermons, now shared online. His uncompromising style, blending conviction and empathy, influenced thousands globally.
Sermon Summary
Keith Daniel passionately preaches about the urgency of salvation and the dire consequences of neglecting one's relationship with God. He emphasizes the reality of judgment and hell, urging listeners to recognize the need for compassion and action towards the lost. Daniel shares personal anecdotes and historical examples to illustrate the importance of being prepared to share the Gospel and the dangers of pride and indifference. He calls for a return to biblical orthodoxy and a rejection of the entertainment-driven church culture that dilutes the message of Christ. Ultimately, he challenges believers to live as ambassadors for Christ, actively seeking to save souls from eternal damnation.

Can we bow for prayer, please? Father, in mercy, wash me in the blood of God, God the Creator, God the Savior, God the coming Judge, God the Son. Cleanse me afresh, anoint me by thy Holy Spirit, because of the cleansing of the blood alone that I look for and long for. For one purpose, that thy name might be glorified in this meeting, come, visit our hearts, speak to every heart by thy Holy Spirit. In Jesus, the Christ's name, for his glory alone, and in faith unswerving, we all unitedly agree and ask this of our Father in heaven. In Christ's name, for his glory, amen. Jude verse 14, behold, the Lord cometh. The Lord cometh with ten thousands of saints. Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints to execute judgment upon all. To execute judgment upon all, and to convince, that is to remind, to bring to their remembrance all that are ungodly among them, of all their ungodly deeds, which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches, that is their blasphemous, arrogant statements, which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. To execute judgment upon all, to convince, that is to remind, to bring to their remembrance all that are ungodly among them, of all their ungodly deeds, which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches, that is their blasphemous, arrogant statements, which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. Revelation 20, verse 10, behold, he says, and I saw a great white throne. I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the heaven and the earth fled away, and there was found no place for them. There was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, I saw the dead small and great stand. I saw the dead small children and great grown-ups stand before God, and the books were opened. The books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books according to their works. The dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books according to their works. And death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them, and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake, which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast. There's no mercy in that word. It's a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God, this book says. And I will preach it because this book says it. If you have not prepared to meet with God before you die, it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God, even though those hands will bear the marks and the testimony that He tasted death for every man for all eternity. Those hands will bear that witness that He tasted death for every man, but there's no mercy towards the men He died for. If they have not prepared to meet with God, God's way, before they die, cast. There's no mercy. Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. That is spoken of again and again. This lake which burneth with fire were the smoke of their torment to send it up forever and ever. They have no peace day or night. Oh, God lied if they do. God lied if that is not forever and ever. The smoke of their torment to send it up. Hebrews 9 verse 7 It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this, judgment God said. Oh, God lied. If you have anything else other than judgment, God's judgment as it is told in the scriptures, word upon word, paragraph upon paragraph, scores upon scores of God's coming judgment. God lied if that does not happen. It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this, the judgment. 2 Thessalonians 1 verse 8 He will return in flaming fire, God says. He will return in flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God, taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction. God said, not me. Don't be angry with me. You are angry with God. If this does not come to your religious requirements of where you will attend church, He will return in flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and the glory of His power. 2 Corinthians 5 verse 11 Knowing, therefore, knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men. General William Booth, founder of the great Salvation Army, he cried, Oh, that God would hang every Christian over the flames of hell. Oh, that God would hang every Christian over the flames of hell for one minute. The whole world would be evangelized within a few months. Jude verse 22 Of some have compassion, making a difference of others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire. Pulling them out of the fire. That's written across your life or you have no relationship with God at all. Words, testimonies, send men to hell. Unless you have the burning desire and compassion for souls, God speaks of in verse upon verse. Oh, this book is not our foundation. Your requisite of emotionalism and sentiment takes its place. Of some have compassion, making a difference, but of others save them with fear, God says, pulling them out of the fire. I have made all men, I have made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 1 Corinthians 9 verse 22 I would by all means seek to save the fearful proud. I would by all means seek to save the fearful proud with great compassion. But what do I mean? What do I mean by the fearful proud? My wife, Jenny, who sits here tonight, her father, his name is Yanni Le Roux, beyond doubt one of the godliest men this world has ever, ever had the privilege of seeing or witnessing his life. He is beyond doubt one of the godliest men that ever lived. And I am privileged that he is my father-in-law and an incredible example of the believers in their multitudes across Africa through his wonderful witness and life that has staggered the powers of hell almost every step he takes in this world. Yanni Le Roux, my father-in-law, shared a most staggering event of when he was a boy. He shared of how one day as a boy he was swimming in a lake where the river was flowing through and the river had built up current and strength through the rains where 400 at a time can be drowned in the valley where they have farms. Jenny's father. Well, Yanni Le Roux as a boy was swimming in one of the lakes, the great river coming through and suddenly as a boy he felt the current pulling him out, something he hadn't anticipated and fear gripped him as he struggled to get back to shallow waters as a boy but he couldn't and eventually he begins to sink and swallow water eventually he becomes numb in his head and swallows more water but he saw people that he could have called near enough that could have helped him but it shocked him he didn't cry for help because of pride that he was drowning and he went under. Someone, thank God, realized he's gone swam swam in fear went under the waters retrieved his body and after the resuscitation and crying to God for help they revived him by the mercies of God but Yanni Le Roux said these words for years, every day of his life for years he was shaken by what happened at the realization that he couldn't understand himself how through pride he would have perished rather than acknowledge he was drowning or needing assistance he would not cry out for assistance though he was losing his life and could have lost his life out of pride that shook him and he couldn't understand or comprehend that could be in him rather than acknowledge his need he would have perished that's pride that's pride don't doubt that now oh brother, sister we need to seek to be made all things to all men that we might by all means save even the tragic, fearful, proud who are everywhere around us as we walk through this world though outwardly they will not acknowledge their desperate need of salvation to us through pride there's no man that does not need to know what waits his fate at his last breath I will study to show myself approved unto God a workman a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth to Timothy 2 verse 15 I knew a family Jenny and I were deeply fond of I led numbers of them in that home to Christ to mother to any of the six boys we loved the youngest child the late addition they called the Lat Lamaki the latest little lamb he was really he was adored by the whole family he was the darling of the home the darling of his father and mother the darling of his brothers his name was Philip he was very dear to me as a boy as I watched him just grow and follow Christ but on Christmas day on one of their farms in a very great lake this boy where they were all sitting picnicking as a family a large family the older ones all married this boy dived into the lake Philip and he began to swim and his mother Peggy she looked and eventually said what is Philip doing out there what's he doing and the one brother said he said he's swimming to the other side of the lake and his mother screamed but you know he could never make it why did you let him get in the water he's going to drown all the brothers screaming suddenly realizing their delay of common sense dived into the water and one of them one of them got within distance of him as he went under he comes up but let me tell you something that you must never forget you are in terrible danger the nearest person to someone who's drowning yourself you could drown with them because a drowning man loses all restraint of common sense rather than resign to be helped they'll pull you under they'll pull you under with them in their desperation and this began to happen as the brother tried but the fighting pulled him under and they went down and this brother in desperation rather than drown with him pushed him away and let him drown for fear of drowning with him for years that boy for years that boy walked with sadness on his face and never spoke that he pushed his brother away for fear of drowning with him he watched him perish or he would have drowned with him if he tried to have him any further my father my godly father sorry my godly father was an unusual extraordinary and totally unique Christian in history I have no doubt of that nor do thousands of people across this world trust me who have found God through him my father studied this book like someone in desperation that he might lose one soul and my father when Jehovah Witnesses finally after he was saved came to their door my mother told me this he did what other Christians don't do other Christians hide behind the verse that you mustn't allow them in if they deny the Christ don't tell us don't allow them in your door that's one poor excuse sir for being unable to save them because of lack of concern to even prepare yourself that's one poor and tragic and obnoxious excuse my father my mother said the first time after he had been saved and knew experiential knowledge from the scriptures how to be saved for eternity he applied himself to this book and one day Jehovah Witnesses arrive at our door my mother said daddy opened the door and he said are you truly the real Jehovah Witnesses are you really Jehovah Witnesses yes we are oh come in now they are used to being said get away even by Christians get away why? we can't win them we are scared of drowning because we are not ready whoa so my father said they were shaken they came in nervously at first my father said sit sit please my wife is going to make you tea we've got cake glorious cake can we give oh I'm so glad I've been waiting for you come now they sat there looking at daddy this is unusual this is terribly unusual father looks at them and says I have been preparing myself I have been crying to God for a Jehovah Witness that I would be ready to show you from the scriptures that you are going to hell whoa and he began to scream cry out to them you know he was so shook the mother began to look through there that the man began to scream this man walking in there he was so shaken within minutes he started screaming in fear ahh he gets up he pulls this man hey don't go daddy even stood in the doorway you've just come you can't go I've been waiting desperation for us all the man pushes literally physically my father get away runs and pulls this man daddy runs after down the driveway the neighbors oh my neighbors all the neighbors lived in fear when daddy was saved there wasn't a neighbor that didn't tremble when he came near out of the door they knew whoa let's get away daddy had every so way standing there looking my mother said she just couldn't know what to do as the neighbors were watching these men screaming like they were in pain like you were whipping ahh and daddy running after them with the bible going on with the scriptures and then the man begins to curse my father curse you you curse wipe the dust of my curse you oh my father said oh I read that you'd do that if you heard the truth oh so you've heard it and then my father said something remarkable young man I have read I have heard and I've studied about you to try to that there's never two of you of the same there's always a younger one learning you must be the one the one that keeps quiet why is he running why is he screaming in fear what is he running from why is he running in fear get away from him he'll take you to hell before you so brainwashed you won't listen though you've shown the truth you won't open your eyes you'll close them to what god says cancels out what they say as heresy run from him he'll take you to hell why is he running I met the head Jehovah witness of southern Africa he came to the lord Jesus Christ he became a close friend of mine I sat with him about three months ago before I went to America him and his godly wife and he said to me when I first met him brother Keith there is no Jehovah witness on earth that cannot be one and would not be one to Jesus the only trouble is Christians are not prepared for them because they don't care about their souls but any Christian who cares enough to prepare themselves by seeking god for the words from this book will win any Jehovah witness even if he is the head of the entire movement of a continent I am made all things to all men hallelujah that I might by all means no matter what it costs me save some is that written across your life if it's not you are either unsaved or you are a total grief to god don't deny that 1 Corinthians 9.22 I will study to show myself approved unto god a workman that needeth not to be ashamed you will be put to shame you will be put to shame by sects by people by people who are brainwashed by Satan himself you will be put to shame though you are saved unless you study to show yourself approved to god a workman someone that wants to be used by god that can work for god and the kingdom and for the kingdom and for souls or you will be put to shame I know a man who shared with me a tragic the most tragic event of his life and I could not comprehend what he was saying at first it was so unbelievable he had never applied himself for the boy to swim he said he was ashamed even as a boy that he couldn't swim brought him much embarrassment but he never applied himself he always meant to he always meant to stop and to learn the one thing he was ashamed he couldn't swim and he grew up had children one day he said his entire family his wife and every child were drowning and he stood helpless as they were swept down this river not realizing how strong that current was and he stood helpless he couldn't get in the water because he couldn't swim he couldn't even get in the water he knew he would drown before he got to them he stood as they looked at him and he watched them going under one by one perishing unable to do anything unable to make any attempt no ability knowing there's nothing he could do he hadn't learned he couldn't do you know other men along that river looking at him watching his family perishing they would scream but unable to help they dived in three men drowned trying to help that family when they realized the father the husband couldn't help them and they drowned and his closest friend in life trying to help his family drowned again also and he stood there and lost everybody of his loved ones of his family in one moment because he had never learned he couldn't even try to help he had to watch them perish helpless helpless oh brother sister study study swiftly for God's sake lay down everything think lay down every single thing that is rubbish in the light of eternity what do you want to use what other word do you want me to use that makes it sound more polite something that matters nothing for God for you it will do nothing of edification nothing that will equip you nothing that will sharpen you nothing that can in any way count for eternity you waste your life with things that mean nothing redeem the time for God's sake your time is short your life is one moment don't waste it on rubbish oh beloved study to show yourself approved to God take up this book lay everything down study the holy book and any other book you can get your hands on and God the Holy Ghost will guide you to truth that will enable you to understand what to use from this book for every soul and every argument that you will be able to have an answer to every man that asks you anything that in any way you can communicate why you are saved and what salvation is to show yourself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed I believe most Christians stand ashamed because they cannot help souls because they never cared and that's the only reason they can't help souls perish if a blind man if a blind man was walking towards the edge of a treacherous cliff any person with any sense of honor or sense of responsibility or conscience would cry out fearfully to stop him to warn him of the danger he's in but Jesus speaks here in the holy book of the blind leaders of the blind the one tragedy about them is they have no sense of urgency because they don't believe or see danger for the lost beloved if a professing Christian even if he is an ordained priest has no sense of urgency if a professing Christian even if he is ordained priest has no sense of urgency or compassion for the lost it is tragic and fearful evidence that he himself is lost I want to repeat that in case it didn't get to your heart if a professing Christian even if he is an ordained priest has no sense of urgency or compassion for the lost it is tragic fearful evidence that he himself is lost, how can you know that souls everywhere around you are one step from hell? I want you to answer this. How can you know that souls everywhere you go that pass you every day, everywhere around you are one step from hell, and not warn them and still retain your testimony and integrity of having a testimony? Answer that please. David Livingston, he cried, you are either a missionary or a mission field. I want to repeat that because this is the truth. You are either a missionary or you are a mission field. What are you? One of the two, there are not three here. Spurgeon, the greatest preacher that ever lived, he cried from his famous pulpit in London, a Christian is either a missionary or an imposter. I believe that of the man who stated this, who is referred to by preachers across the world for many, many years as the greatest preacher that ever lived. He cried from his pulpit, a Christian is either a missionary or an imposter. We cannot, we cannot be rightly related to God if we are not swiftly recognized in this world as a compassionate soul winner. I must repeat that. We cannot be rightly related to God if we are not swiftly recognized in this world as a compassionate soul winner, as a man or woman that winneth souls. Proverbs 11, 30, that turn many away from iniquity. Malachi 2 verse 1, that turn many to righteousness. Daniel 12 verse 3 to Corinthians 5, 20, for if we are reconciled to God in truth, we are immediately ambassadors. We are transformed into ambassadors for Christ. If we have been reconciled to God, there isn't a breath in the verses that tell you that you now have responsibility to be ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us, that is through us. We pray you in Christ's head, that is in the place of Christ, be ye reconciled to God, for he hath made him to be sin for us who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God. Beloved, if you have been reconciled, trust me, it isn't the next verse, it's the same verse. You receive that moment the responsibility of the ministry of reconciliation. Oh, you have not been reconciled to God, if from that moment you did not see every man as someone who needs what you found. Sir, there is something tragically wrong. You become an ambassador for God, as though God, it was as if God is beseeching you by us. You know, that is beyond my comprehension, but God said it. If men are not conscious that God cries out to them through you, as if Christ himself, in the place of Christ, crying out for men to be reconciled to God, that they know God is speaking to their hearts and souls through you, no matter how hard they are, I wonder if you have ever been reconciled. Or should we just tear these pavers out of the Bible that suggest it, that demand it, that demand it? John Wesley, evangel of the burning heart, was reportedly asked by a fellow preacher how to gain the attention of sinners in their thousands, wherever he went, across Britain. How does this happen? He cried to Wesley. Wesley, when they heard he was coming, the entire town stopped work, sometimes up to three hours before he arrived. It was not a thing. Light stopped. Why? Why would sinners in their thousands, town upon town, wait and gather and wait, longing, in the end, what they knew of this man who had heard of him? Wesley looked at this man and said, if a preacher is on fire, men would swiftly run to see the flames and what caused it. But if a preacher is not burning and alive and throbbing with the fire of God in his heart, he will send people to hell. He will send people to hell. The great George Whitfield cried, it is a mercy that we have not seen hell. It is a mercy we have not seen hell. But as you consider the fearful scriptures of hell and judgment, can you blame us for calling after you as we do for spending and being spent for your souls? It is easy for you to come and hear the gospel as you do, but you do not know the nights that we have pain and agony in our hearts and our faces before God for the souls we preach to and pray for. We pray for your souls. Oh, sinners, how can God help you seek his salvation? I urgently implore you, he wept. He did not preach, he wept. And they fell down on their faces in their thousands to such a man. Have you spent one minute in your entire Christian life agonizing for a soul in your face for God to use you? And you wonder why he did it. And you judge such a man as emotional, as fanatical. For God's sake, become fanatical. It is not wrong to be a fanatic over rugby and football and scream like some maniac as men like children throwing a ball and then killing themselves. But let us get excited about the gospel. Why is it then fanatic? Oh, sinner, death is upon you. Death is upon you. You are every moment in danger of being seized by the formidable justice of God for eternal burnings. If you die unpardoned, you are sent among devils, damned unto torments, and must undergo a fearful punishment of eternal one which is reserved for the workers of iniquity by God. Oh, sinner, this is thy lamentable case. And knowing this, knowing this, how canst thou do any other than to make that solicitous inquiry, what must I do to be saved? Knowing the terror of the Lord, be persuaded, sinner. Lost sinner, I beg thee, be persuaded now. The great Cotton Muller, 1615-1691, the great Puritan church leader, cried, God give us another man like that in this hypocritical dead religion of today. Give me the love that leads the way, the faith that nothing can dismay, the hope, no disappointments tire, the passion that will burn like fire. Let me not sink to be a clod. Make me thy fuel, flame of God. Amy Carmichael, the missionary woman, cried. I was told by missionary leaders of the greatest missionary societies on earth that close to two-thirds of full-time workers on the mission field of the world are women. So alas, God does not forbid in the God-damn hands of every Christian, not just Amy Carmichael, to cry such words. It is possible to evangelize the world in this generation. The church will but do her duty. The trouble is not with the heathen. It is the dead church that will prevent it. If it is prevented, why should it not be accomplished? God will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. The resources of the church are boundless, but let the will of the church be broadened in line with the will of God once again. Nothing will be found impossible to win this generation to God. The great Griffith John cried. Leonard Ravenhill, the fearful Leonard Ravenhill, who hypocrites despise but anyone with a heart for God loved. Full stop, no matter what you say to me. Leonard Ravenhill cried. We Christians are debtors to all men at all times in all places, but we are tragically, willfully smug. We are tragically, willfully smug to the lostness of men. We are callously indifferent as the lax, lazy Laodiceans. We are challenging God with them to spew us out of his mouth. Revelation 3 verse 14. Why is there at present among us this criminal indifference to the lostness of men? And criminal it is, he cried. Are we pitiably unsure of the fearful truth of the Bible concerning the lost? Are we pitiably unsure Christians in this generation of the fearful truth of the Bible concerning the lost? Are we so stony hearted that God's threats herein do not disturb us? Our whole sense of value must be revolutionized. We need to redirect our talents before they are everlastingly taken away from us. This is our hour. We will never have for eternity another hour. Church of God tomorrow may never be ours. Don't take a chance, oh wind of God. Come and blow up this suffocating indifference that chokes the channels of service to lost men across the entire church in the world today. Ravenhill cried. He's dead, I cried for him now. And what of the pitiful state of our preachers today who stand in the pulpits worldwide unconverted, liberal, apostate, fighting this book while they hold it in their hands. Their mission is to stand and undermine it from the professors in the universities who teach people to go out and preach that from chapter one it's not divinely inspired to revelation. Arguing. They are given positions because of academic achievement and they are of the devil. Don't doubt that. You must be one terribly hardened person to sit here judging me when you don't judge them for undermining the only foundation we have as untrue. The preachers of God are of old, fearlessly cried, turn or burn. You cry that today you'll burn. Trust me and you'll be stunned who lights the fire. The Pharisees are alive and well on planet earth today. Trust me. Everywhere you go. In the last days, and I believe we are there, there will be a mass falling away, this book tells me. And I believe it and see it. What does it mean? Not a mass falling away from church attendance, oh for goodness sake no. The mega churches have never thrived so much and they mega. No, there'll be a mass falling away, not of church attendances, that is not what the Bible says. But from uncompromising fearless preaching of the truth that are in the pages of this book being proclaimed, masses do not mean God is there. In this apostate age, this holy book suffers more from its exponents than from its opponents. I want to repeat those, Ravenhill said these words. In this apostate age, this holy book suffers more from its exponents, its preachers, than from its opponents, those who are outward enemies of God and the gospel. Author of Why Revival Carries, the greatest danger the lost across the world face today stand behind the pulpits under the banner of Christianity. That's a staggering statement to make. A staggering statement to make. The greatest danger the lost across the world are in today and face today stand behind the pulpits under the banner of Christianity worldwide. That is the greatest danger the lost face in the world, sir. And someone needs to cry it loud and clear with a broken heart, not this judgmental. This isn't judgment, this is a broken heart in case you sit there listening to the devil telling you I have no right. Are the preachers who stand with this book in their hand to give them some form of authority fearful of ever preaching its contents, rejecting its contents, knowing its contents for fear of offending? The majority of American people believe in justification by church attendance alone. The great Derek Moulton, who I preached in his pulpit a while ago, the tragic result of unsaved preachers in our pulpits under the banner of Christianity in their masses and majorities worldwide. Because of that, the majority of American people believe, of churchgoing people believe in justification by church attendance alone rather than justification by faith alone. Derek Moulton cried. Peter wrote, the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God. Much of the blame of the world condition lies at the door of our church. Our indifference, our neglect, our failure to cry out against iniquity have encouraged the devil. Unfaithful preachers, modernism, worldliness, unholy living have disgraced the house of God and he must, like the savior of all, first cleanse the temple. God's house has become a den of thieves in the masses of megachurches which cry out for money, who wouldn't stand in a pulpit for any reason other than that if they don't get it. Vance Huffner, 1901-1986 cried. Oh, I wish I hadn't met him. I nearly did. If you would preach the truth, the vital truths and the uncompromising standard of this holy book faithfully today, most compromising evangelical churches worldwide would seek to destroy you with no restraint, brazenly. I want to repeat it. Dare, I dare you to find it out. You would preach the vital truths, the uncompromising standard of this holy book faithfully today. Most compromising evangelical churches worldwide would seek to destroy you openly, brazenly and without restraint. Jesus fortified his disciples as he sent them forth into this world and he said these words, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Luke 10.3, if you want a staggering study, there isn't one instance in this book where the word wolves does not mean religious leaders of the ordained religion of God. If you refuse to compromise your stand on the teachings and the vital teachings of this book, one of the greatest preachers in the world today, every one of you would know his name. He stood and I didn't even know he was in the meeting. I staggered to suddenly I realized. He stood and said to me in his frailness as they tried to hold him standing up, they brought him out. He looked me in the eye and tears came down his face and he said these words, Brother Keith Daniel, if you refuse to compromise your stand on the vital teachings of this holy book and of the necessity of holiness without which no man will seek God, you will face rejection and persecution and ostracization from most evangelical churches across the world today. I have had to face this in my own denomination and also among most professedly evangelical churches that once would have embraced what I truly believe and this persecution is going to increase, Brother. So brace yourself and be prepared for it. You see, Brother Keith, the emphasis now is on church growth and personal egos and not on faithful, fearless, uncompromising preachings of the unadulterated word of God. The emphasis now is on church growth. That's all that matters no matter what you have to throw away to get it or embrace to get it. And personal egos of preachers, not on faithful, fearless, uncompromising preaching of the unadulterated word of God, but, Brother, we are called not to be successful but to be faithful. The day any church leader seeks success at the cost of faithfulness to this book, he serves the devil. I was asked not to tell his name and I said I would preach this. But the evangelical churches and movements today are willing to conform to anything that will draw crowds, even if they have to throw aside the fearful teachings and standards of this holy book and reject them totally from their pulpits. They renounce anything that could offend. They forbid us to say, Thou shalt not. By the law is the knowledge of sin. They hide behind dispensationalism. The word dispensationalism, sir, the more you use it, the more you have nothing of God in you in this day. Nothing in the Bible, nearly 86% of the Bible by certain evangelicals, is discredited as dispensational and not applicable to us, to liars. They fear offending anyone so long as we keep them and the crowds come. They will refrain from God's warnings, God's commandments, God's standards and the vital things of God's teachings. What draws most people to the local churches today would have driven them from it less than 100 years ago, Derek Moulton cried. What draws most people to the local churches today, worldwide, would have driven them from it less than 100 years ago. Tolerance and compromise from the pulpit to the pews seem to be the creed of the modern evangelism. Tolerance and compromise from the pulpit to the pews seems to be the creed of modern evangelism. And this disorder has given birth to the pursuit of every whim and fad that blows across the plains of religious popularity. This disorder has given birth to the pursuit of every whim, every fad that blows across the plains of religious popularity so long as it draws the crowds. Let me tell you something, you cannot win the world by being like the world. All that will happen is the world will win you, beginning with your music. The liberal compromising evangelical leaders worldwide, the liberal compromising evangelical leaders worldwide are boldly crying to their congregations, their denominations and their preachers, adapt to the world or die, or perish as a denominator. Adapt or die. I never would have believed the church would embrace it so brazenly as it does throughout the world today. Within most evangelical conservative movements there has risen leaders who are pressurizing their preachers to adapt or die, to compromise or sink into oblivion. Though the Bible cries out, be not conformed to this world, they cry we must conform to this world to keep them. Oh brother, you know why the world is comfortable in the church? Because the church is comfortable in the world. Let the church get right with God and let me tell you the first thing that will happen is the world in the church will agonize and flee unless they repent. They won't be walking and leaping and praising God. They won't be full of joy if you just say one, thou shalt not. Let alone all of them. No, we give them entertainment, we give them singing. We've become as good, so good that our entertaining records and videos and entertaining, so bigger than the unsaved entertainers of the world. Why? Because we emulate them and the world wants what we've got so they come for what they get in the world because we've become better than the world in what we look. We look like them, we dance like them, we sing like them and we wait for their applause like them. Oh go to the theater for God's sake if you want to be an entertainer. Get out of the pulpit and get out of the church for God's sake. Entertainment in the church is sin. I'm not talking about godly edifying, sanctified, anointed ministry in any way. But anyone with any sense of integrity to God will witness within one moment whether you are an entertainer or standing there anointed by God. And I dare you to tell me that's not true. I will tell you you're allowed to defend what is happening. Beloved, the day has come worldwide that this is happening. We stand in danger of throwing ourselves into total apostasy church of Christ. I don't care if there's not another preacher in this entire world that will say this and suffer the consequences. I don't care of the consequences. I don't care about anything after I leave a pulpit but God's smile and God's well done. The day you care for anything further of man's well done, get out of the pulpit. You're not serving God. If you don't flee from the pulpit to God alone and wait for his well done so whether they bless you or curse you at the door, it doesn't matter so long as their blood is off your hands and you preach with the love of God alone driving you for every word you said. If you don't flee to be alone with God after you've preached to hear his well done and that's all you want to hear no matter what men did curse you or bless you or forbid you to go back in their pulpits, you're not serving God. We stand in danger of throwing ourselves into total apostasy under the influence and pressure of our evangelical compromising coming close to apostasy who cry adapt or die. It would be greatly beneficial for the modern church to re-dig the old wells, recovering that which has been discarded, solid biblical orthodoxy. I want to repeat that. Young man, and I'm using him for two reasons. It would be greatly beneficial, he said to me, for the modern church to re-dig the old wells, and he said it weeping, recovering that which has been discarded, solid biblical orthodoxy no matter what the consequences. Mary Peckham, the great Mary Morrison, probably the most loved woman of God in our generation, saved in the revival of the Hebrides under Duncan Campbell, went into President, Prime Ministers, dignitaries homes where she sang like an angel in a way that staggered the hearts of men and would not sing a worldly song from the day she was saved until she died when she said, take my voice and let me sing always only for my king, she meant it. And though she was famous, she buried all fame and sang what she said she lived. And so she sang and she brought the account of the revival as no other person across this world. In her old age, she died last year, she stood in front of me frail and looked at me and tears went down her face as she said these words, Keith, this world is not my home any longer. I cannot be comfortable in this world. Another moment. The tragedy, Keith, is the most uncomfortable place I am in and out of places in the churches, the evangelical churches. As I witness the compromise, I can hardly stand the music, I can hardly survive it to listen to the sermons. I am so broken down by the world and the church. The compromise. Oh, she sang change and decay. In awe around I see, oh, now that change does not abide with me. No wonder she died untainted in the words of James, unspotted by this world. Entertainment. Entertainment is the devil's substitute for joy, Leonard Ravenhill cried in the church. But the church has unashamedly replaced the priority of faithful preaching and proclamation of God's word in its entirety with entertainment. Even if it is emulating the world's most evil depraved singing groups where that type of music was born in demon possessed tribes and embraced by the west, they will emulate it and they will be exactly like it and throw in the word Jesus and if you are lucky you might understand what they say in one of the sentences drowned by this ridiculous heavy metal trash. The church has unashamedly replaced the priority of preaching and proclaiming God's word with entertainment. Do you know that most mega churches give close to two hours of entertainment and if they give five minutes of anything of God's word and anything that's substantial it is a miracle. That was not my assessment because I don't go to them. I cross the street for fear of being contaminated even being on the same side of those buildings or influenced. They have replaced God's word with worldly carnal sensual moving music. It is sensual. You sing and play dance music in the church they will dance and anyone with any discernment will see it is not a holy dance. It is sensual and they will run. So we replace, substitute. It is the devil's substitute for joy. Do you know what joy is? Joy is as a result of a relationship with Jesus Christ. If you don't have a vital relationship with Christ which results in everything that this book says will happen or you have no relationship with Christ then all you are getting is a joy that is a sensual joy. It is nothing of God's joy but it is a sensual joy to stand there dancing and screaming and listening to this music and rip roaring applause to the type of man more applause with the same type of singing the same movements the same clothes. It is nothing of modesty. Lex Buchanan was one of the greatest men of God I ever met, a German man. He came to my home in his old age and he was weeping and he said brother Keith I used to spend every day of my life time on my face weeping and groaning to God for the lost to be saved. But for a long time I have not once wept for the lost. I have not once been on my faith for a long time brother agonizing for the lost. Do you know why? I could hardly believe what he was saying because all I can do when I get on my face every day is agonize for the state of the church. How can we win the lost when we like them in every aspect apart from attending church. I agonize and weep for the saved every day now. It is all the compromise and the apostasy. Faithful preachers worldwide who have not bowed the knee to bow, listen carefully here, Spurgeon cried to his students in the first lecture he would ever give at a seminary these words, if you have come here and not braced yourself to spend a life of rejection of being undermined, spurned, ostracized, persecuted, lied about by the evangelical church leaders of this world, leave now. Go to your rooms, pack your bags and leave because I offer you nothing but that if you are going to go out and preach this book in faithfulness. John 14, 20, the servant is not greater than his Lord. If they persecuted me, Jesus said, they will persecute you. Jesus sent his servants to go into all the world to preach the gospel to every creature, but into an apostate church Satan has sent forth his counterfeit, his false prophets to go into all the world to preach deliberate diversions, denials, underminings of this book and its vital teachings. Evangelical church leaders, I dare you, I dare you like Josiah, even if you are a young preacher, as he was, to bring back God's word and just don't even add a word, you will win, you will lose most of your congregations. But as my preacher that led me to Jesus said before he died, I would rather have three rows of people who will let me preach this entire book without compromise, fearlessly, than a church full of hypocrites like you. No wonder God had to take him away, other to face the consequences. I dare you to bring back the word of God, like Samson, to cry out before you die for God's grace, to die with dignity and honesty in a way that will triumph over all the enemies of God. Oh, fire of God, send forth preachers again as of old. We don't need more preachers, God, to fill in the gaps of the world, too many. We need men who will be valiant for the truth, men who will be willing to hazard their lives for the gospel's sake. Once again, men who will be wondered at the category of men this Bible talks of, who have the right to preach too much. So, to the lost sinners here tonight, the religious lost sinners, do you know how many preachers have come up to me in this world and said to me, brother, I have preached for years and I never realized until tonight I'm going to hell and I've sent everyone who I've preached to to hell with me. And they've given their lives to Christ. One man said to me, brother, I have to go back to a church that rejects the gospel that you've preached, saved. Pray for me because I doubt I'm going to get through one sermon, but I have to tell the truth at least once before they rid me. To the unsaved, no matter who you are here tonight, you will face what I preached and you will face it for eternity, but you will never forget this preacher and you will never forget how you closed your heart to what God's warnings were from this book. And to Christians, are you a saint? You lay down all the things to do anything of eternal value for God. Take this message and I dare you, put it in your preacher's hands and beg them to listen, even if you are excommunicated. Can we stand please? So now I believe there's one sermon left tomorrow, ten o'clock, and I doubt I'll ever be back.
