Sermon Summary
In this sermon, the preacher reflects on what more God can do for his vineyard and his people. He emphasizes that God has already done everything possible to bring ministers and blessings to his people. However, despite God's efforts, the vineyard has produced worthless grapes instead of good ones. The preacher warns that divine judgment is coming to America and urges the congregation to judge between God and his vineyard. He concludes by questioning what more the Holy Ghost can do for the church and the choir.
Sermon Transcription
Heavenly Father, I pray for a special touch of heaven right now on my message and on my body and on this congregation to hear and receive the living word of God. Thank you, Jesus, for your life that's here. We bind every spirit of opposition, we bind the enemy who would come against God's people, and we take dominion in Jesus' name right now. Total dominion, our hearts may be free and open to hear and receive the word of God. Lord, the devil would like to block this message in the hearts of many who need to hear it. Lord, we're going to first talk about the nation and Christians who've had an experience of the walls coming down, and then we're going to talk about those who by faith are having walls erected and are becoming impregnable against the forces of hell. Lord, encourage us, tear down if you have to, but then build us up in your faith. Do what you have to do in us, Lord. Lord, we've never had enough. We'll never get enough. We want more. Lord, we love your word. We tremble at it and we hear it. Lord, there's not anything you can give us that would be too much of anything, Lord. We accept it all from your hand. Amen. Amen, amen, amen. Glory to God. You know, the devil himself knew that God builds walls around his saints. That's what he said about Job, didn't he? He said, Has thou not made a hedge about him? Did you build a wall around that man? That's why I can't get to him. You got a wall around him. Now, I won't have you turn to that, but that's Job 1 10. And you know, God said to Abraham, I'll be a shield to you. And that Greek word or that Hebrew word there, shield is Ganon. And that, that means a wall, a protection, a shield, a covering. Do not fear Abraham, I may shield to you. That's exactly what the devil said about Job. He said, You've got a shield around him. Now he's got a shield around Abraham. But better than that, folks, he's got a shield, a wall around every one of his chosen, walking in blamelessness before him. Do you believe that? An absolute wall protection. How powerful these final words of Moses. He blessed Israel just before he died. And he said, Blessed are you, O Israel, who is like unto you, O people saved by the Lord, who is the shield of your help, the sword of your majesty. Your enemies will criss before you and you'll tread down to high places. Oh, I like that. Your enemies shall cringe before you because you've got a shield around you. Your enemies will cringe. Every demon power, all the forces of hell, the devil himself going to cringe in front of God's people because of the shield around them. Hallelujah. David said, I laid down and slept because the Lord sustains me. Lord, I did that because you're my shield. You're my glory, the one who lives up my head. He said, I'll not be afraid of ten thousands of people who set themselves against me round about, for thou smitten all my enemies on the cheeks. You've shattered the teeth of all my enemies. Don't you like to see God just pound his fist and shatter the teeth of every demon in hell? He's shattered all the teeth of my enemies. Glory be to God. Toothless devil. But I want to tell you something. There is a wall around God's people, and I believe that with all my heart. The scripture said he's a shield to those who walk in integrity. The Bible said for the Lord is a son and a shield. No good thing with hold from those who walk up rightly. The Bible said he's a shield to those who take refuge in him. But there is no hedge about Christians who live in rebellion. And when you have sin and rebellion in your heart, the wall comes down. I want you to turn with me to Psalms 50. I'm not tell you don't turn this. Let me read it to you first. But to the wicked, God says, What right have you to tell of my statues and to take my covenant in your mouth? For you hate discipline and you cast my words behind you and you associate with adulterers. You let your mouth loose and evil in your tongue frames deceit. He said, What right have you to claim any of my covenant rights? What right have you to say I have a shield and a wall around me when there's deceit in your heart and in your mouth? Now, Israel broke covenant with God, and when they broke covenant with God, the walls came down. And I want you to turn with me to Deuteronomy 28 chapter, Deuteronomy 28 chapter. And I want to show you something here. We're going to start at the 58th verse. Deuteronomy 28. We're going to start at the 58th verse. All right. Well, you turn it that way. You look this way now. As soon as you find it, rather, you can't look at me and turn at the same time. I know, but find it. Deuteronomy 28 chapter. We're going to start reading at the 58th verse. Brother Bob Phillips was the first one to show this to me. And God's been making it real to my heart ever since. Deuteronomy 28. Deuteronomy 28. I'm going to start reading at the 58th verse. Now we're talking about what happens when the wall comes down, when there's no shield, there's no covering. All right. Are you ready? If you are not careful to observe, I'm reading to the new American standard, by the way, if you're not careful to observe all the words of this law, which are written in this book to fear this honored and awesome name, the Lord, your God, then the Lord will bring extraordinary extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, even severe and lasting plagues and miserable and chronic sicknesses. And he will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt of which you were afraid. And they shall cling to you. Also, every sickness. Now you think of AIDS, think of of of all the new diseases have just come to America now. Think of herpes and all the strains of herpes. And listen now to this sixty first verse. Also, every sickness and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, the Lord shall bring on you until you are destroyed. Now, there's new diseases. It is newly come up unnamed diseases. That's when the wall goes down around the nation, around the people. And there's nothing to protect from these diseases and these things pressing in. Then you shall be left few in number, whereas you were once of the stars of heaven for multitude because you did not obey the Lord your God. And it shall come about. It shall come about that as the Lord delighted over you to prosper you and multiply you. So the Lord will delight over you to make you perish and destroy you and make and you shall be torn from the land which. The land where you are entering to possess, I want you down to sixty five and among you, those nations, you shall find no rest and there shall be no resting place for the soul of your feet. But there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing of eyes and despair of soul. So your life shall hang in doubt before you. You shall be in dread night and day and you have no assurance of your life in the morning. You shall say, would that it were the evening and evening. You shall say, would that it were morning because of the dread of your heart, which you dread for the sight of your eyes, which you shall see. And the Lord will bring you back to Egypt and ships by the way which I spoke to you. You will never see it again. And there you shall offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves. There'll be no buyer. It means when the walls go down, you become a slave to say you become a slave to all the things that the devil would pour upon you. Now, Israel was given a choice. This was a message to Israel, but it's also a message under the new covenant. It's a dual prophecy and it's a dual word for the church of Jesus Christ. The scripture said, see, I've set before you this day, life and good, death and evil, and that I command thee this day to love the Lord, thy God, to walk in his ways, keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgment that thou mayest live and multiply. And the Lord, thy God shall bless thee in the land whether thou goest. But if thy heart turn away so that thou will not hear, but you are drawn away and you worship other gods and serve them, I denounce you this day that you shall utterly perish and you shall not prolong your days upon the land. Now, incredibly, though God said to Israel, I lay life and death before you. And he said, if you'll just walk with me in a pure heart, I'll bless you. I'll not let these diseases come upon you. And even though the devil may try to extract from you, he may push you down. I'll deliver you. I'll bring you out. And that's why I believe even though the enemy may try to push this boy down, he's got a wall around. He's going to be fine. I have no fear in my heart about that boy because he's walking. This pastor is walking under covenant and God's promise to protect. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you that I've set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Why will you not choose life for the life of me? I don't understand why people choose to walk in despair. Gwen and I were walking down 57th Street yesterday. Then we went up to Central Park and took a little walk. We were just enjoying the sunshine and there was wickedness and evil all about us. We had just married last Saturday, our fourth child, Greg. All four of them, all four of our children are married to wonderful Christian mates. The Lord has blessed us and he's brought Gwen out of six operations for cancer. He's brought Debbie, my daughter, out of cancer. And we were just walking through the park rejoicing in the Lord. And I was holding her hand. I said, honey, it's so simple and the church is not understanding it. God has set life and death before us and we're to choose it. He said blessing or cursing before us and we're to choose it. And I said, honey, all God's ever expected of you and me from the beginning is to walk with an undivided heart, to love him with everything is in us and to love one another, be faithful to one another and keep his commandments. The Lord has promised to keep us by his hand. He's promised to flood us with joy and peace and victory. He's promised to be a wall of fire around us and the glory therein. He's promised that no devil, no demon in hell can touch us. Now, he may discipline us out of his love and discipline is often a type of his love, a sign of his love for whom the Lord loves. He chastens, but he only does it out of love. And when he chastens, you're in the Lord's hand and not the devil's hand. And there's a big difference. David said when he had to choose his discipline, he said, I'll throw myself at the mercy of the Lord because I know God has mercy. Devil has no mercy. When the wall comes down and you're plundered, you're at the mercy of the devil. Discipline you at the mercy of God. God does nothing to his children that would hurt them but for their own good. He spanks only to heal. But you see, the children of Israel incredibly disobeyed the Lord. David said, thou feedest them now with the bread of tears. You give them tears to drink in great measure. Thou makest us to strife unto our neighbors and our enemies laugh among themselves. Why were the enemies of Israel laughing at them? Why does the devil laugh at some Christians? Laugh at them. They can't stand before any demon powers. They can't stand against the principalities and darkness, powers of darkness. Why hast thou broken down her hedges? Why did you cast down her walls so that all they which pass by pluck on her? The boar out of the woods wastes her and the wild beast of the field devours it. He said, why did you tear the wall down and that wild boar comes in? Who is the wild boar? Who is the wild boar? Satan himself. He said, why did you let the wall down, oh God, and let the devil in? Why did you let the boar come in and waste the vineyard? He said, because my people not hearken to my voice and Israel had nothing to do with me. So I gave them up to their own hearts lust and they walked in their own counsel. Oh, that my people had hearkened to me and had walked in my ways. I would have subdued all their enemies and I would have turned my hand against their adversaries. I'll destroy your enemy, God said, if you walk before me blameless of the pure heart. I'll take care of your enemies for you. And Bob preaches covenant and in covenant, God says, your enemies are my enemies. Amen. Your enemies are my enemies. And that's the wonderful thing to know that when your enemy comes, you know, big brother standing right behind you with all the power to take care of him. You may be weak. That's what it means. His strength is made perfect in weakness. Hallelujah. That's a covenant walk with a mighty God of majesty that has all might and power over the forces of hell. I don't believe in Christians to be afraid of the devil. The only time to be afraid of the devil is when you got sin in your life and the walls are down. You'd better be afraid then. You better be running. Now, God has threatened to remove the hedge from his church, not his church, but the harlot church. And I want you to turn with me, if you will, please, to Matthew 21, 33. And I want to show you what God has done for his people. Matthew 21, 33. All right, I want you to go with me, please go to the 33rd verse of Matthew 21. You love the word. I want everybody has your Bible. Put your finger at that and then hold it. Just let me see how many of you got there right now. Hold it up there. Hi. All right. God bless you. The rest of you. Don't look at me for a minute here till I get this. I'm ashamed of you. My wife had a panic. We got in the car and we're heading down. She's. Oh, no. We almost want to go back. I forgot my Bible. So we got her another one. But, you know, she doesn't even walk out of the house now anymore without it. All right. Listen, verse Matthew 21, 33. Listen to another parable. There was a landowner who planted a vineyard church. What is the vineyard? Isn't this the house of God? Isn't this the people of God that chose the Lord? I planted a vineyard. What did he put around the vineyard? What did he put around the church? And he put a wall around it, didn't he? Is that what it says in your Bible? Say it with me. He put a wall around it. Again, he put a wall around it. Do you have a wall around you today? No demon, no devil in hell can break through. None at all. But I want to show you a prophecy. I want you to turn with me, please, to Isaiah, the fifth chapter, show you a frightening prophecy, a terrible prophecy. And the church needs to hear it. And I'm going to preach this from coast to coast every time God gives me a chance. God shook my very soul when I saw it. And I've been reading about this wall around God's people. And I've been thanking for the wall around me. Not thought of living so many years in turmoil when the wall was down. I know what it's like to live with the wall down. And I know what it's like to live with the wall up. And I don't like it when the walls down. I don't want to be afraid of the devil. I don't want to look around being afraid of a man of God. Look me in the eye and I've got shit in my heart. I promise God never again will I be in the presence of man of God and he stare me down. We had a demon possessed boy in a park the other day and came up and he said, don't touch me. And he was the one who was running over bushes, foaming at the mouth. And I saw one a very clear manifestation. The Lord had spoken my heart that he over 10,000 demons in him, legions, legions of demons frothing at the mouth. He said he'd been a Christian. He said he loved the Lord and just frothing. And he, he was screaming, you cannot have this body. This body is mine. Just looking at my face. And I kept praying, Oh, wicked one, you come and have nothing in me. My heart is pure. You can't touch me. Get out. He raised brother Bob as he was racing, said, Oh God, build a wall of angels around him. Let those devils look right in the face of those angels and bring it back. And I was over praying with somebody else turned around and Bob was laying hands on him and all the devils of hell ran. And he started hugging and people and praising the Lord. Every demon fled in the presence of the Lord. Well, see the wall had been down and the devil just trampled in. The boar came in the wild boar. All right, look, look with me, please. Verse, uh, let's start at verse one, Isaiah five. Let me sing now for my well-beloved, a song of my beloved concerning his vineyard. My well-beloved had a vineyard on a fertile hill. What is that fertile hill? That's Calvary, isn't it? That's, that's, that's also Zion, the hill of Zion. And he dug it all around and he removed it stones and planted it with the choiceless vine and he built a tower in the midst of it. And then he expected it to produce good grapes, but it produced only worthless ones. All right now, verse three. And now, oh, inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah judge between me and my vineyard. What more was there to do for my vineyard that I've not done in it? Why, when I expected it to produce good grapes, did it produce worthless ones? Stop there for just a minute, folks. What more can the Holy ghost do for you who attend this tabernacle? What more can God do for a choir that sits here and sing such praises? What more can God say in bringing ministers like brother Bob or brother Dave and many, many others here in this dear pastor? What more can God do for his vineyard that he's already done? Who else can he bring? What else can he do? The Holy ghost has come. The word has come. What more can God do? There's nothing more God can do to bring us to himself. He's done it all. What more can I do for my vineyard? All right. Why, when I expected it to produce good grapes, did it produce worthless ones? So now let me tell you what I'm going to do to my vineyard. Let me tell you what I'm going to do to my vineyard. Now, this is awesome. All right. Look at the look at it. I will remove its heads and it will be consumed. Read it with me. I will break down its wall and it will become trampled ground. I will break down its wall. He's talking about not the homosexual community in San Francisco. He's not talking about the atheistic communistic group here in America. He's talking about his vineyard folks. He talking about his vineyard. We're in that vineyard and look, this is prophetic. Listen to it. I will remove its heads and it will be consumed. I will break down its wall and it will become trampled ground and I will lay it waste. It will not be pruned or hoed, but briars and thorns will come up. I will also charge the clouds to rain no rain on it. And that's why we've got so many dead churches in America. My mail is full of letters from all over America. And the number one question I get, where can I find a church where God's moving? Where can I find a preacher that touches my soul? Where can I sit in the church while I sense his presence? And I'll tell you, there are cities that I go to and people ask me, surely with hundreds and hundreds of churches in this city, you can name one. I'm sorry, I don't know one. I can't name one. Thank God for the Brooklyn Tabernacle right in the middle of this harlot city, in this harlot church system, in this city that there is a place and there are other churches. Thank God that God is moving. His spirit is at work, but he said, I will charge the clouds to rain no rain on it. For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel, the men of Judah, his delightful plant. Then he looked for justice, but behold, blood shed for righteousness, but behold, a cry of distress, a cry of distress. Brother, simply you get it by the bundles. I send you cries of distress down here for prayer meeting time. My staff, some of them can't stand to read it anymore. One lady, one of our staff reasons is the brother Dave. I just cry and can't cry anymore. These letters of distress that are coming from the vineyard, from the church of Jesus Christ from around the nation, around the world, such cries of distress. And there are nights that I lay hands. See, Gwen and I pray over those bundles before you get to my staff. Praise first. Then we lay hands on them. We'll sit in the living room and just lay hands on those bundles. And Gwen reads them for hours and I read him till I can't read anymore. And I'd say, honey, I can't take it anymore. And recently it was so depressing. Gwen, I asked her to take a week off and not read anymore. It was just tearing us apart. Distress, distress. And then it dawned on me. That's why this message is so important for me to preach, because most of these people don't know what's happening to them. They don't know that the walls are down, that the wild boar has come. And God says, I'll not give you any more rain. He said, I'm tearing down your wall. I'm taking heads away and your enemies are going to rejoice over you. They're going to laugh at you. You're going to be plundered. You're going to be trampled ground. And that's what these cries of distress are. Christians who are being trampled on, walked over, no dominion, no spiritual authority. And I say, why, Lord, why are so many of your children being trampled upon such an easy prey to the devil when God says that we're to pull down the stronghold of the enemy? He's given us dominion in the name of Jesus Christ. We don't have to take this, but why is the church taking it? I'll tell you why, folks, is because God himself has started starting to crumble the walls. There was a time in the United States of America that you could go anywhere in the world and be safe. No dictator, nobody would touch an American citizen because they knew the wrath of a mighty country would be down on because God had a wall around this nation. God had a wall around this nation. There was a time just 20 years ago, there was no abortion, very little abortion. Since then 150 million babies have been murdered. It's because the walls are down. Little Iran holds us hostage. A little dictator, a tin God, holds this nation as hostage for almost a half a year. We were chased out of Lebanon by a country that doesn't even have a government to speak of. This nation has been laughed at and mocked and spit upon. And then look at what's happening to our country now. 17 states ravaged with fires, AIDS, herpes, drought. Brother, sister, it's just the beginning because the walls, God said, I'll remove the walls. You know, I've got many, many scriptures to prove that to you, but I want you to go to Psalms 89 with me, please. Psalms 89. I want you to get this, folks. Psalms 89. Verse 38. We've been reading verse 38. All right. Verse 38, Psalms 89, verse 38. Now, this is David speaking, but thou has cast off and rejected. Thou has been full of wrath against thine anointed. Wait a minute. Full of wrath against who? Hey, I was preaching. Look at me for just a minute. I was preaching to Detroit a couple of weeks ago. The Lord had told me I had to reprove God's chosen people. I had to reprove because you have to reprove before God can get it all out and then begin to bless and pour the abundance of his mercies. And I was to speak in a church the next day in the message Saturday night when a big auditorium was very strong and hard, but God had the congregation left rejoicing, but it was hard. The next Sunday, the next morning I was to preach in a rather large church. And as soon as I got in the church, someone got up and prophesied. The Lord is not that hard. The Lord is merciful. He is not just a rod. Don't be discouraged when you hear man words. In fact, don't listen to men who spank you all the time. Boy, oh boy, oh boy. I knew who he's talking about. So all I did was get up and quote the scripture. David said, those who love those who love God love reproof. Those who love the Lord, he said, it's just like water, like oil flowing down over my head. He said, I love God's reproof. I don't know about you folks. I love his reproof because I know he's concerned about me. He's reproved me to bring me to a certain place. He's trying to get me through something. He's trying to make me stronger. He's trying to put a wall around me. But thou has cast off rejected. Thou has been full of wrath against thine anointed. Thou has spurned the covenant of thy servant. Thou has profaned his crown to the dust. Thou has broken down all his walls. Thou has brought his strongholds to ruin. All who pass along the way plunder him. Hey, who passed? Who comes in like a roaring line? Who comes to plunder and destroy? Satan himself and the powers of wickedness and darkness. All who pass by along the way plunder him. He's become a reproach to his neighbors. Thou has exalted the right hand of his adversaries. Thou has made all his enemies to rejoice. Thou does also turn back the edge of his sword and has not made him stand in battle. Folks, do you understand we're in a war? We're in a battle. And David said, God, I can't stand there's something wrong. Why? David wrote this after he sinned. He wrote this after he sinned. There was sin in the camp and there was sin in Israel. And he said, you've abhorred, you've broken your covenant. God never breaks his covenant. David and Israel broke the covenant. And he said, now the enemy is getting a stronghold. The enemy is now in control. I want you to turn to Isaiah five again. Folks, I'm just going to stay right with you till the Lord begins to make it real, real clear to us in just a moment here. It's going to be about 10 minutes from now. You're going to see something. I want you to read it again. I feel impressed with the Holy Spirit to just come to this one more time. And I want you to hear it. And it's loud and clear here. I will break down its wall and it will become a trampling ground. Now I want you to keep that in mind and what I've said about the United States right now. All right. Having said that, look this way. I think I'm as about a loyal pastor, a citizen as God ever gave to America. I'm just one, but I love America. But I tell you, in the authority of God's word and his Holy Scripture, America is facing judgment. Divine judgment is coming to this nation. And when I wrote the books at the trumpeter mouth, I've heard from literally thousands and thousands of Christians who say, David, I hear the same thing. When I listen to the news and I see what's happening in this country, I know there's a sense of judgment. I know the enemy is trampling through this land. Now, it's one thing for the devil to trample through the land. We're a part of that. We're Americans. And it's not it's not unpatriotic for me to preach God's holy word. It's not unpatriotic for me to stand up and warn people that the walls of this nation are coming down. God says it very clearly that the walls are coming down. And I want you to mark that in the fifth chapter. If you have a pencil or pen, I want you to mark that. If all you do is on chapter five, put it there and put some marks there. I want to go home and study it and read it because I believe exactly that's what God is saying to his church. And then I want you to turn to Ezekiel, the 13th chapter with me, please just turn over to Ezekiel, the 13th chapter. As soon as you find it, I need you to look this way again. Jim, you know, one of the largest churches in Dallas, and if I mentioned, you know who I'm talking about, you've been there. I mean, you visited it. In their church about two weeks ago, one of the secretaries told us about it. They, they, the book had started bringing people in the church repentance. People were starting to repent, cry out to God. And they were saying to the ministry, to their ministry, what about this? Is this true? We're not hearing this in the church. Is this true? And so out of the ministry and out of that came, you know, prophecies. And they say, don't listen to gloom and doom. There's going to be nothing but peace and prosperity. America will not be destroyed by fire because we have power with God. And we have prayed at the past that there will be no destruction. So everybody relax, everybody. Oh, so she said, you can just feel the congregation. Ah, and what they did, they were at that's what the devil wants you to do. He wants you to just relax. He wants you to settle back in a sense of false security. I'm not trying to scare anybody, but my Bible said awake saints of God awake Zion awake. Now I trembled the word of God. And I want you to listen to me 13th chapter of Ezekiel. I'm going to start right at the first verse. We're going to go right on down here quite a way. Then the word of the Lord came to me saying, said a man prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy and say to those who prophesy from their own inspiration, listen to the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord God, woe to the foolish prophets who were following their own spirit and have seen nothing. Oh, Israel, your prophets have been like foxes among ruins. The walls are down. The church is being destroyed. The heart of church is being destroyed. And we've got Fox profits standing there saying nothing wrong. Relax. All is peace and prosperity. Oh, Israel, your prophets have been like foxes among ruins. Didn't I just read to you that it would be trampled ground, ruined your foxes. Your prophets have been foxes among the ruins. You have not gone up into the breeches, nor did you build the wall around the house of Israel to stand in the battle on the day of the Lord. You're not building up the wall. You're telling people to relax while the walls are falling down. Verse six, they see falsehood and lying divination who are saying the Lord declares when the Lord has not sent them, yet they hope for the fulfillment of their word. Did you not see a false vision and speak a lying divination when you said the Lord declares, but it's not I who has spoken. Therefore, thus says the Lord God, because you've spoken falsehood and seen a lie. Therefore, behold, I'm against you, declares the Lord God. So my hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and underlying divinations. They will have no place in the council of my people, nor will they be written down in the register of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel that you may know that I'm the Lord God. It is definitely because they have misled my people. They have misled my people by saying peace when there is no peace. And when anyone builds a wall, behold, the plaster, they plastered over with whitewash. Folks, it's a puny wall that's around the harlot church, isn't it? It's a wall that can come down. I'm going to show you how it's coming down here. Verse 11, so tell those who plastered over with whitewash that it will fall. The wall is going to fall. A flooding rain will come and you all hell stones will fall and a violent wind will break out. Behold, when the wall is fallen, will you not be asked, where is the plaster with which you plastered it? Hey, look at me. I should have preached this Tuesday night when we had some ministers here. That's what every Sunday school teacher, that's what every pastor, every associate pastor, everyone who has the word of God in his mouth, that's what God's going to ask you. How did you plaster the wall? What kind of wall were you building in my house? Why did the wall come down and there are going to be literally thousands of shepherds? God's shepherd is going to stand before the judgment seat and they're going to have to answer and that's going to be the first question the Lord asks. What happened to your walls? What happened? You whitewasher, you've been whitewashing sin. You dabbed the wall with untempered mortar. You didn't build strength and stability. You didn't bring people to repentance and holiness and righteousness so that they could stand against the plundering enemy. And that's the question. Will it not be asked? Read it. Here it is again. Behold, when the wall is fallen, will you not be asked, this isn't the judgment seat, where is the plaster with which you plastered it? Saints of God, I'm not going to come to Brooklyn Tabernacle any time anymore like this or any time until I bring your holy word from God, a prophetic word, and know that thus saith the Lord. And I tell you, that's what God is saying to my heart. And I believe he's saying it to the church of Jesus Christ. There is false mud. There is whitewash. And God is looking for a holy people with a wall of fire around them that can stand while all the demons of hell are coming against them. And it better happen soon. It's got to happen soon. Verse 13, therefore, thus said the Lord God, I will make a violent wind and break out in my wrath. There will also be in my anger, a flooding rain and hell stones consume it in wrath. Verse 14, will you read the first few words with me? So I shall tear down the wall. Who's going to tear down the wall? I shall tear down the wall, um, which you plastered with white over with whitewash and bring it down to the ground so that its foundation is laid bare. And when it falls, you will be consumed in its midst. You will know that I am the Lord. Verse 15, thus, I shall spend my wrath on the wall and on those who have plastered it over with whitewash. And I say to you, the wall is gone. The wall is gone and his plasters are gone, along with the prophets of Israel who prophesied to Jerusalem and who see visions of peace for her when there's no peace, declares the Lord God. And now you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who are prophesying from their own inspiration, prophesy against them. Look at verse 19. And for handfuls of barley and fragments of bread, that that means for money, for money, you will profane me to my people to put it to put to death some who should not die and to keep others alive who should not live by your lying to my people who listen to lies. Now, I asked brother simply before I came out here, and I half in jest, but half seriously said, if your people repented enough, because I knew I was coming here with a message of repentance. But just standing here preaching to you, I've been soundly rebuked by the Holy Spirit and I take it and I receive it. There is no such thing as preaching too much repentance. There's no such thing as too much reproof from the hand of God. It's a sign of his love. It's a sign of his concern for his body. And I would much rather stand up here and preach just a message of love. And I would like to let live some who should die. There are some of you right now who are going to die because the wages of sin is death and you're going to die and I'm not going to stand up here and minister life to you when God said you're going to die because you're in sin. You can't have my life ministered to you until the sin is out. And tragically, there are many of you come to Brooklyn Tabernacle, and if I didn't love you, I wouldn't preach so hard. If I didn't love this pastor, I wouldn't try to strengthen his hands so strongly. But I know God put this in my heart. There are many of you right now that come to Brooklyn Tabernacle. Many of you are not here regularly, but you were visited. You're being plundered by Satan and the wall is down. You have no strength against the enemy. Oh, I wonder sometimes if I can take it much longer. The messages that I receive from pastors are ready to quit the ministry. I usually send those to Jim, those heartbreakers. All over the United States, ministers burned out, ready to quit. Their children are going to hell. Their you know, when I see Christians with kids who are kids that are going to hell. I say to myself, especially if it's a pastor or an evangelist, not just because my four children are serving the Lord and in the ministry, but more than that, I know what it's taken. I know the cost that it's been to me. I know the the wall that I had to pray around my children. And now I'm praying around my five grandsons and God help him. I'll let, let the devil plunder my grandchildren, let alone my children. You and I don't have to take that friends. We have an authority of God's word. And if we're laid down the sin and start seeking God, get rid of the television set and start praying and seeking the face of God, God will raise up a wall of fire around you and your children and save them from the devil. If you start seeing your children slipping, you start seeing the devil making inroads. You better get a hold of God, brother, sister, get a hold of God. No, that doesn't mean that I'm putting it down. If your children are out and sitting, some of you come to the Lord, your children are out there and you're really paying a price. Aren't you at the walls around you, but not around your children. They're being plundered, but that's why you need to pray and seek God in their behalf. Hallelujah. I'll tell you what I want to, I want to get to good part, giving you enough of the bad part. I'm going to give you a good part here now, revelation 21, revelation 21. Okay, church, you want to shout? How many want to shout? Well, I'm going to be the first. I'm going to be the first. I don't like to bank. Neither does the Lord. He said he doesn't get any delight in that, but he loves whom the Lord loves. He corrects. All right. Revelation 21 verse 10. Before we read it, don't get ahead of me now. How many believe that we're the holy city? The new Jerusalem is going to come down as a bride prepared for the groom. Jesus, do you believe that? All right. And he carried verse 10 and he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God. That's us. Hallelujah. Now, folks, where are we in heaven yet? Yes, we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. We're already there by faith. We're there. I don't know where you're at. I'm in heaven. I'm seated with Christ in heavenly places around the table of the Lord. I'm already coming down out of heaven. Look, look at the next verse 11. Having the glory of God, her brilliance was like a costly stone is a stone of crystal clear Jasper and read the next words. It had a great and high wall. A great and high wall. Do you have that great and high wall around you right now? Go to Micah. If you can't find it, go to Jonah. It's right after Jonah. I'm going to get you shouting here in just a minute. You know, brother Bob, I can't even find it. Oh, there's Jonah right there. Yeah. Micah seven chapter. I saw this just before the service and I started shouting in my room. All right. Let's go to verse seven. Micah seven seven. Everybody have it. I don't want to go until you get it. If I don't have a raise your hand. OK, I'll wait just a minute because you can't shout unless you read it. Hallelujah. Brother, God's trying to raise up a holy people, not afraid of the devil. He wants to raise up a people that can walk in covenant, say if all the demons of hell are spit out, they can't touch me. You can look at every day. I saw Christians running in front of that demon possessed man the other day. We're scared to death. God don't want you to run from the devil. No, he got it. He wants you to know you've got this invisible wall around you, this high and mighty wall. Go to Micah seven seven. But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord. I will wait for the Lord of my salvation. My God will hear me. Do not rejoice over me, oh, my enemy. Don't think you've got me down. Don't think you have me by the throat, old devil of hell. Don't rejoice over me, oh, my enemy. Though I fall, I will rise. Though I dwell in darkness, the Lord is a light for me. I will bear the indignation of the Lord because I've sinned against him. See, I've acknowledged my sin. Now I'm getting the sin out of my heart till he pleads my case and executes judgment justice for me. He will bring me out to the light and I will see his righteousness. This is what brother Bob was preaching this morning. That's what he preaches. And I love this man's preaching. He's been a very dear friend of mine. And he said something quite a while ago and I've never forgotten it. He said the difference between the harlot church and those who are really in the bride, we who are in the bride, we're in the remnant. We may fail God at times, but we keep coming to the light. We keep coming to the light to have our sins exposed. He will bring me out to the light. Verse nine, and I will see his righteousness or how I'm going to see the righteousness of Christ as my very own glory to God. Then my enemy will see the devil knows when you're going all out for God. He knows when he's losing you. He knew when that he had 10,000 demons, that boy, he knew the moment those demons were fleeing that he'd lost that boy. He lost him. He was gone. Hallelujah. My enemy will see it and shame will cover her who said to me, where's the Lord your God. My eyes will look on her at that time. She will be trampled down like Meyer on the streets, all my enemies and all that that the devil threw at me. I'm going to be victorious. Now look at this. It will be a day for building your walls on that day. Your boundary will be extended. This is not just a little wall right around me. You know, a little six foot wall, man, God gives me space. Hallelujah. All kinds of space to move, to worship and praise his name and to work and move without feeling constricted. All kinds of space to praise the Lord and glorify his name. Hallelujah. Let me give you another shouting verse, uh, Isaiah 49, 14, Isaiah 49. Oh, glory to God. I love the word. Well, you can show this at the devil and he gets mad. Devil just screaming right now. He mad at all these scriptures coming at this congregation. Isaiah 49, 14, 14 and 16. Boy, I'll tell you, if you don't shout on this, you don't know how to shout. I'm not looking for noise. I want you to be encouraged in the Lord. I want you to know you can walk out of here. If your heart's here before God and you can walk out there and say, New York city can't touch me. No devil in hell can touch me. The walls may be ground this nation down, but they're not down around me. My walls are up. My walls are built by the Holy ghost. Hallelujah. All right. Verse 14, Isaiah 49. But Zion said, the Lord has forsaken me and the Lord has forgotten me. Oh, but can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I'll not forget you. Behold, I've inscribed you on the palms of my hand. Your walls are continually before me. Hallelujah. Your walls. I'm always thinking about your walls. He said, my greatest concern is that wall around you. Uh, I'll tell you what, let's, let's really nail it down. Zachariah two, five, Zachariah two, five, Zachariah two, five. Don't, don't, don't mind. You can't find those, uh, minor profits. We'll wait for you there. Zachariah two, five. It's right after Haggai. Get into Zephaniah Haggai. You'll find it. It's next to the last old Testament book. Malachi is the last go next to the last. Okay. Oh boy. Are we going to nail it down now? Every demon in hell going to flee out of this house. If there were, I don't think there's any left now. They're all gone, man. They're scared of the word. I'll tell you what, I want you to stand and read this one with me. I want you to stand and read this one with me. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Verse five, verse two, five. For I come on, read it folks. For I declares the Lord will be a wall of fire around her and I will be the glory in her midst. Hallelujah. I will be a wall of fire around my people. Oh, there's a wall fire around this church right now. Hallelujah. The devil been lying to some of you saying you'd never can live in victory. All right. If you've sinned, confess it and say, Lord, I want it out. I'm going to keep coming to the light until I have total victory. I'm not going to let the devil lie to me and plunder my home or my family anymore. I want a wall around my house and my life. And I claim it in Jesus name. A wall. Lord, give us that wall today. Hallelujah. Give us that wall around us. I'm not even going to give an altar call. I want this audience to just raise your right hand and repent with me right now. If there are sinners here, you don't even have to run down here right now. Raise your hand and say, Lord, forgive me. I open my heart. I'm coming to the light. Purge me and cleanse me and build a wall around me. Take my sins. Take my habits. Take my life. Come on, sinner. Lay it down. Come on, backslider. Lay it down. You've been lied to. Say, Jesus, forgive me. Forgive me, Jesus. I give you all my heart and soul and strength. I come to you with everything that's in me, Jesus. I give it to you, Lord. I give it to you, Lord Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
