Keith Daniel

Keith Daniel (1946 - 2021). South African evangelist and Bible teacher born in Cape Town to Jack, a businessman and World War II veteran, and Maud. Raised in a troubled home marked by his father’s alcoholism, he ran away as a teen, facing family strife until his brother Dudley’s conversion in the 1960s sparked his own at 20. Called to ministry soon after, he studied at Glenvar Bible College, memorizing vast Scripture passages, a hallmark of his preaching. Joining the African Evangelistic Band, he traveled across South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and made over 20 North American tours, speaking at churches, schools, and IBLP Family Conferences. Daniel’s sermons, like his recitation of the Sermon on the Mount, emphasized holiness, repentance, and Scripture’s authority. Married to Jenny le Roux in 1978, a godly woman 12 years his junior, they had children, including Roy, and ministered together. He authored no books but recorded 200 video sermons, now shared online. His uncompromising style, blending conviction and empathy, influenced thousands globally.

Sermon Summary
In this sermon, the speaker tells a story about a young man named Roy who disappeared and no one knew where he went. Years later, the speaker encounters an older, broken version of Roy on the street. The speaker asks Roy a question, which leads to a confrontation between Roy and another person named Noel. Eventually, Roy finds himself on his knees, seeking God's forgiveness and salvation. The sermon emphasizes the importance of true repentance and the evidence of a changed life, as taught in Matthew 7:16.

I hope this is loud enough, perhaps slightly louder, brother, that I don't have to put this too close, I might swallow it. And it's your fault. So slightly louder, please, if you don't mind. A little bit more loud. There you are. Now don't even look at it, because those things are so sensitive it'll... Okay, now that it's right. If I scream, hit me, be the one who goes ups and downs, otherwise you'll be putting it down and I'll be screaming when I shouldn't be screaming. Fancy telling a man with all your experience what to do. I'm sorry. We just leave it at that, don't we? Father, in mercy on all of us, come and wash me in the blood of God. God, the Creator. God, the Saviour. God, the coming Judge. God, the Son. Not the Son of God. God, the Son. For we bless you, if we don't acknowledge that. Wash me in that holy blood that God shed. Great is the mystery of Godliness. God was manifest in the flesh. We bless thee, Father, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself. That I might be anointed, I ask this of thee, for outside of the blood I have no hope of a God looking at such a base, unworthy man as me. Fill me with the Holy Spirit. Anoint me that thy word may reach every heart, even the hardest, most closed, cynical, and angry. So that tonight, let's break that heart forever. In Jesus Christ's name, come now and visit us. And for His glory, He who tasted death for every man, that He, by the grace of God, should taste death for every man. You will have all men to be saved. And to come unto the knowledge of the truth. We bless Thee for such wonderful scriptures that all of us have hope, because of Thy word and Thy love. Come visit all our hearts, in Jesus, the Christ's name. Amen. I don't want you to just go back and forth in the Bible tonight, because I'd like to bring quite a few scriptures to you. But I'm quoting from the King James Bible, the Bible that has sold billions more than any other Bible in history. Billions, not millions. It has been so honored by God to this day. And I only use this Bible. I only use this Bible. This translation, that God honored above every other translation in history, of the holy scriptures. But I want you to listen to some verses, carefully. In 1 John, chapter 2, verse 3. Hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar. And the truth is not in Him. Hereby we do know that we know Him. If we keep His commandments. He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His commandments, is a liar. And the truth is not in Him. God says, not me. If that offends you, you're offended at God. Don't blame the preacher. If he says what God's Word says. If we keep His commandments. 2 Corinthians 5.17 Therefore, if, very important word. If any man be in Christ, you're saved. He is a new creature. Old things are passed away. Not a year after you can't save, but the moment you get up from your knees. Immediate change. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things have become new, God says. God's Word says. That's if that ever happened to you that you were saved. That happened. Or you're not saved. Or God's Word doesn't matter, should I say. I'm not talking about sinless perfection. I'm talking about a radical deliverance from all the things God assures us that we must not be deceived. No unrighteous person shall enter the kingdom of heaven, nor that defile it. And then he names the sins. Now either God lied. Or if you carry on with these damnable sins that you don't seek God to set you free from. Well, I don't know how you can have the Bible and say you are saved. To watch the contents of this book. Unless you start tearing it apart. Before you're able to say in truth what's left of this book I believe in. James chapter 2 verse 14. What doth it profit my brethren? Though a man say he hath faith and have not works. Can faith save him? I want to repeat that. What doth it profit my brethren? Though a man say he hath faith and have not works. Can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked and destitute of daily food. And one of you say unto them depart in peace. Be ye warmed and filled. Notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful for the body. What doth it profit? Even so faith if it hath not works is dead. Being alone yea. A man may say thou hast faith. And I have works. Show me thy faith without thy works. And I will show thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God. Thou doest well. The devils also believe. Demons believe and tremble. But wilt thou know O vain man that faith without works is dead. Worthless. God's eyes worthless. What doth it profit? Though a man say he hath faith and have not works. Can. James does not say you are saved by works. Paul says by grace you are saved through faith. Not of works. So is this a contradiction in the Bible? No there is no such a thing as a contradiction in the Bible sir. Every man that ever said that to me. I held up the Bible and said show me. And I will show you there is nothing. No James does not go against Paul's teaching. To him that worketh not. But believeth on him that justifies the ungodly. His faith is counter to him for righteousness. Not having mine own righteousness which is of the law. But that which is through the faith of Christ. The righteousness which is of God by faith. In one moment God declares you righteous. By faith in Jesus Christ's blood. Being justified freely by grace. Through faith in his blood. The blood of Jesus Christ God's Son that cleanses us from all sin. In one moment God justifies you. As you come by faith. But what does James say? What doth it profit? Though a man say he hath faith and have not works. Can faith save him? What faith is this? This that God says is worthless. The devils believe. Demons believe every single word in this book. They don't doubt it. They don't dispute what's coming. That's why they tremble. We see our lives contradicted throughout the entire Bible. We don't even tremble. That's actually giving more credit to demons faith than yours. At least they tremble. At what they see God says will happen to you. And to them. Oh be careful. What does James mean? What doth it profit? Though a man say he hath faith and have not works. Can faith save him? He's not saying you're saved. By works? No. You're saved by faith. But you're not saved unless your faith works. That's true salvation. Unless your faith brings you into alignment with everything God says will happen at salvation and from salvation till you die. Staggering words. Hereby we do know that we know him. You know Jesus gave an amazing sermon on the mount that I've preached to many hundreds of thousands of people across this world. In the deeply conservative pulpits of the world. Of all movements. We're the conservative church of God. That which wants nothing less than this book being preached with no fear of giving what God says and no undermining or explaining it away. To accommodate filth and depravity even in the pulpits today. Oh be careful. Jesus says in Matthew 7 16. He shall know them by their fruits. Amazing. Do men gather grapes of thorns or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit. But a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth good fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit. Neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits he shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. But he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. But he that doeth sir. The will of my Father which is in heaven. Many would say to me in that day. Lord Lord have we not prophesied in thy name? Literally preached in the name of Jesus Christ. Have we not preached? Lord Lord have we not prophesied in thy name? Have cast out devils in the name of Jesus. They cast out devils. And in thy name done many wonderful works. Miracles literally. And then while I prophesied unto them I never knew you. I never knew you. Depart from me ye that work iniquity. You that didn't repent. You that didn't ever. Seek God to set you free. For if the Son shall set you free you shall be free indeed. Not sinless. But from a life that damns you according to the Bible. Of depraved sins or any sins. We're born in sin. Hereby we do know that we know him. God says not me. If we keep his commandments. He that saith I know him and keepeth not his commandments is a liar. And the truth is not in him. Now you can go across the world ten times. And you probably have to pass a few hundred thousand churches. Before you ever hear those scriptures preached. So don't be scared. It's only once. I'm guaranteeing you. Because they lose. Your tithing. Your attendance. They don't care about losing their soul. So don't offend. Don't say what God says. For God's like oh no. We don't want to upset sinners. We might lose their attendance. Don't tell them what God says. If we keep his commandments. He that saith I know him and keepeth not his commandments is a liar. The truth is not in him God says. We have three children. My wife and I. Three sons. Noel. Roy. And Samuel. And my wife couldn't have another child. Because she nearly died. And so did little Samuel. And I groaned on my face. Please no God no. Take me if you take her. God spared them. So we had no further children. But there was Noel. Roy. Samuel. They're all taller than daddy now. In one moment. That in your arms sir don't waste a moment. You can do for God what he wants you. It's gone in one moment trust me. It was a moment ago those little things. Look at them now. Oh fearful. Noel and Roy were younger. Before Samuel was born. When they were small boys. Like some of you boys. There was no one sitting there. Like Noel was. About your age. Stand up. Oh there you are you're listening. Good. Or you would have been in a grave trouble. Thank you. It was about Noel's age. And then there was Roy. Now Roy and Noel were very different. I don't know if you guys have got brothers, sisters, etc. How many you've got. But let me tell you something. They were so different. You wouldn't believe they're from the same planet. Let alone the same family. They were so different. It was fearful. Noel was perfect. Pretty close. If ever you wanted a good son. My son was. I mean preachers would stop their children and say these words. And we overheard them. You look at that boy. No Daniel. Keith Daniel's son. That is what a preacher's son should be. That a preacher doesn't have to walk insane. That is what an example should be of a young boy who follows Christ and whose father is a preacher. Oh even preachers would say look that's what I want you to be like. Noel was exemplary. Right from a little thing. My it's lovely to have a son like this. I hope you've got a son like this. Noel it's bedtime. Yes daddy. So put your toys away and go to bed. Yes daddy. But Roy. He was different. Now Roy was a year nearly two years younger than Noel. Roy was the naughtiest boy that ever lived in history. Now I should be very ashamed of that. I'm scared to say it but that's the truth. If the Guinness Book of Records had some system of finding out genuinely who was the naughtiest child that ever lived. Don't doubt it. It was Roy. And many many people would verify that without hesitating even preachers. I don't know how many churches we had to run out of and never allowed back. He would get up while the preacher was speaking and before anybody would stop him. I was in a big church where he stood up and got up and I said Roy Roy. And he walks up to the pulpit and he screamed look at him. He's got no hair. Look at him. He's got every color in the world and then he died. Literally before he ended his sermon. That's Roy. Nobody knew what he was going to do. And everybody knew. People nearly had heart attacks. I'm serious. Some people came the closest to death having Roy near them because no one knew what he was capable of doing and anything wrong. Roy didn't hesitate. I'm doing it. No matter what the consequences I can't die anymore. Oh I was desperate. I don't know if you have a brother like that or a sister like that. You never know. But oh my Roy was something. He was amazing. When we saw. Oh my. You know when we saw no running we ran. Because no one didn't want to get into trouble. All I remember when he said Roy wait. Just let me get away. We would all run screaming. We would all run screaming. Roy was either painting the car or the fridge or doing something that was unbelievable to the neighbors. Well anyway. Oh no he lived in fear. Oh he lived in fear daily that he could be anywhere near Roy when troubles were coming and troubles were daily. Trust me it was unbelievable. My mother was once visiting us. My mother's 91 years old now and she's an amazing human being. My mother their granny was with us in our home and Roy had done something so unbelievable that I find it very impossible to ever tell anybody what he actually was doing that day. I don't think they'd allow me back in the pulpit knowing I had such a child. But he was doing something. It was beyond comprehensive a human could do what Roy decided to do. We all run screaming. People screaming. I looked to Roy and my mother was standing behind me and her mouth open. I said where does he come from? So my mother looked and she said he's exactly like you. Now that was shaking me. I said mother that's not true. Don't let Roy hear that. I couldn't believe my mother said this. And Roy just looked around at what granny said. Oh my. So I wasn't able to do any spanking that day. I just kind of hid fearfully. Oh but anyway I don't think I was anywhere near that. Don't doubt that. But mother seemed to remember certain things. But anyway at least I knew he was my son. Terrible to say that. But that was Roy. Oh my. Now one day they were on the farm because their grandfather came to theological seminar. But he was one of the most loved preachers throughout South African history. Southern Africa. Thousands walked with God because of their grandpa. Though he was a farmer the farming communities loved him. They flocked to hear the simplicity of the gospel with a practical outworking of Christianity. And so we would spend their holidays on the farm with granny and grandpa. Very large farms in Africa. So there they were with granny and grandpa on the farm one of their holidays. I think it was Christmas. Now he comes from a very big family grandpa. There's five, six brothers and they all married basically sisters. All the sisters. So it was quite a family. Lots of cousins. Oh a little tribe I tell you. And they're a remarkable people. The Afrikaans speaking people. People who descended from Europe and they formed their own languages basically Dutch, German, French and other languages of Southern Africa. Well this is where grandpa came from. This European background of all these descendants of the early settlers from the French Huguenots etc. But they are a remarkable people. Now when I went in that home and all these five brothers, their wives and all sitting there and others, this Afrikaans speaking family generally here they are speaking but they're the only people on earth that can do this. They can talk at the same time. I don't know if you've ever seen a family like this but only Afrikaans speaking people can do this. Trust me there's no other nation on earth capable of it. I would sit there looking and I, who's listening? Every single person is talking by means of desperately. Who's listening? I marveled. This is the Afrikaans. Anyway but I noticed something. Uncle Peter, the eldest brother. When he opened his mouth everybody stopped speaking in one moment because of respect. There's somehow a reverence of elder people in our country which we thank God for that I don't see anywhere else in the world. But because he's the eldest brother, every brother, all the family would just immediately if he opened his mouth stop and so he just would speak. Not all the time but when he spoke I noticed the reverence, the respect to this eldest brother who had died of their family but he was respected. Suddenly with all the relatives there all the cousins, Noel, Roy all their cousins from all the family's children were running around in the trees making tree houses in the farm boats around the river for what they didn't do. They all arrived to come for tea and cookies. The cool drinking cookies anyway. So there's the table just sprawled with cakes and cookies like you can't believe all the grown up speaking but the children mustn't make a noise now you know. So I saw them all there through the corner of my eye getting cookies and cold drinks and everything and well suddenly Uncle Peter spoke. And what did he say? Noel! Just like that, Noel! Everybody stops. Everybody stops at the cookies it's Uncle Peter. So they stopped and Noel said quite embarrassed that he was singled out from a room now about I would say about 30 people all family, now Noel are you saved by the grace of God my boy? Before Noel could answer he said are you sure you've been born again? Because unless a man is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. You were born not a child of God but a mother. You weren't born God's child you have to become God's child you must be born again not physically. Are you sure you're born again you became a child of God that you know where, when and you know since then that you've never doubted you're saved you're not going to hell by the judgments of God and he quoted a few scriptures the Afrikaner can quote their scriptures let me tell you. Are you sure Noel that you are a child of God washed in the blood of Christ? Are you sure Noel you're born of God? Are you sure you're saved from hell? Are you sure so that you have no doubt no doubt Noel that you can point back to the moment the place the day Are you sure Noel every single person in that room looked at Noel never happened before in his life everyone I looked at my son and I said oh you're never going to have this moment again what are you going to say now Noel he pulled himself straight but he was shy but he said with a loud voice while he trembled with every eye on him yes Uncle Peter I know I'm not going to hell I am sure I'm saved I know where I know when and I've never doubted since then though I've been in many meetings in children's conventions in great conventions where the appeals are made I've never once thought I had to go and seek God to save me I was so sure God saved me when I sought Him to save me I know I'm not going to hell I know there's no judgment and he quoted one or two scriptures there's no condemnation to them which in Christ Jesus he said I know Uncle Peter and I have no doubt that I'm a child of God I'm born of God not just a child of my father and mother I became a child of God and I can give you the place the day Uncle Peter stood and he had the stick because he's very frail he died three weeks later and as he walked over a little tear came down his face I don't know why why he singled Noel out of that whole room my son thank you Noel that was very courageous thank you Noel because my boy nothing else matters in life until you can say that no matter what you do in life no matter what you accomplish until you can say that you wasted everything because nothing was aimed at what God wanted you to in truth thank you Noel and he walked out as he walked out everyone all the uncles the aunties up we're all going home now it's time to go back to their farms all over the farming community so the children grabbed the cookies whenever they could and everybody's getting in the cars the vehicles and they start driving off and everybody's gone now whoo no more cousins just Noel and Roy now Grandpa standing against the tree all the orange grows all the citrus and he's peeling an orange or something and he's just throwing and chewing while the last cars are just driving down back to the main freeway from the farm but he was against this big tree the other side of the tree were Noel and Roy my two sons now Grandpa as he was there and they weren't conscious of him heard Roy asking Noel this question Noel yes Roy how could you possibly have said that in front of so many people how could you stand there and say you know that you're not going to hell that you know God has saved you you know where you know when and you have no doubt since then how could you say that I can't say that I go to the same mommy and daddy I come in the same how can you say that I can't say that how can you be so like this Noel looked at Roy for a while Grandpa thought Roy has never ever been interested in the gospel never no matter where it was being preached Roy was looking around what he could do wrong I would see preachers running screaming that's how bad he was what he was getting up to eventually now Roy for the first time in his life showed interest had some concern that he had never ever asked a question not even the most remote question of interest to this book it was all just everything else he was interested in even while the sermon was going on first time this boy that Grandpa actually then he died on one occasion another few occasions he really aged you can't believe what Grandpa knew about Roy and how fearful he was even of that boy he was keeping his eyes open what's Roy doing what next could go wrong Grandpa there is Roy Roy is seeking God he is seeking about how to be safe so Grandpa just stopped eating in shock and he stood there looking through the branches of the big massive tree there is Roy standing there is no what's no going to say now so no was shocked also he just looked at Roy amazed this boy is asking him something about God how can he he doesn't want to go to hell so no says Roy do you see the swing that Grandpa put on the tree on the branch for us as children here on the farm yes well I was swinging here he gave a date a time and he said I was thinking to myself suddenly I just became so conscious I am a child of a preacher but that doesn't make me God's child from all I've heard from Daddy, Mommy and preachers and Sunday school everywhere it's just that doesn't mean you are saved if your father is even a preacher you have to have a personal seeking after God a personal moment a personal encounter with Christ with you by faith and he began to quote scriptures that he had really memorized by that time that he knew were the vital things he said well Roy I just found myself scared fearful I've never done that in truth from my heart and Roy I got on my knees and I found myself weeping in fear of hell suddenly and Roy I cried out to God with everything I knew I'd heard preached from Daddy, Mommy from every single thing books that had been read from Sunday school from conventions and we were always in conventions because of Daddy's preaching I cried with every single thing as I put my faith in God's death in Jesus Christ's blood and I said to God nothing in my hands I bring simply to the cross I cling please save my soul please come into my heart Lord Jesus take my life and let it be consecrated and I said everything I could putting my faith in Jesus Christ and God set me free from the things that I know even if no one else knows are wrong and evil now I got up and I was saved from here at this tree I knelt beside the swing, Roy in that spot and that's where God saved me now Roy looked at him and Roy said with a loud voice because he was a bit fearful you know from that moment you were saved when you got up you knew you were saved you have no fear of hell no fear of judgment no fear of death for your sins I knew in a way, Roy that I can't explain that I didn't know the day before but I've never doubted from the moment I got up till this day and it's a long time now, Roy I've never ever doubted that God saved me there I have peace with God and somehow God gives you that and I don't know how to explain it but I know and I'm not being a hypocrite or a liar when I say I can say it to anyone in the world and I know it's true I'm not even taking a chance but Roy, before then I couldn't say that before that I could never say it without being a hypocrite or a liar to say I was a Roy looks at Noel now and he says well, Noel I don't want to go to hell and I'm going to hell you know that now, Roy Noel you've got to help me I'm scared now now, Noel which side of the swing did you kneel? why? I want to be in the exact spot if God saved you I've got to be in the spot this has to work now, which side? there, sir, there all right, let me kneel this is the exact spot I've got to do this right, Noel yes, that's the spot okay, kneel the other side kneel now, I've got to pray exactly what you prayed, Noel I'm not going to pray just what I think I should pray I want you to tell me word by word sentence by sentence and I will pray after you God has to save me now, you you pray I don't want to make any mistakes you know I don't want to go to hell Grandpa's looking Roy's on his knees he wants to seek God to save his soul this was staggering Grandpa was swaying in shock holding on the chair oh how did this suddenly happen? so Noel prays sentence by sentence Roy prays sentence by sentence crying out exactly eventually they stand up now Grandpa's looking and Roy's looking at Noel and Noel's looking at Roy now Noel I'm saved right? Noel just looks at him Noel are you sure I'm saved? that I'm not going to hell anymore? I did everything you said everything you did now Noel am I saved? I'm not going to hell I'm not going to be judged I'm born again now Noel just looks at him Grandpa, why don't you answer? so what did Noel do after a while? Roy I can't tell you now tomorrow I'll tell you I'll be sure by tomorrow but I can't tell you now what? are you mad? you tell me to do and you can't be sure? and he says something terrible that I can't repeat now that Grandpa tells me he said to Noel in his disgust that Noel wasn't sure that he didn't know now that he's saved I can only tell you tomorrow I can't I'm not sure I can't tell you now but tomorrow I'll tell you Grandpa stood there as Roy ran away screaming in anger and Grandpa thought that was wisdom that a lot of priests need to hear and haven't got the wisdom or discernment to say just a prayer boom, bang, you're saved don't ever doubt again that was wisdom well Grandpa said he didn't have to wait long he heard Noel about two hours later screaming Roy yes, Noel I don't have to wait for tomorrow I'll tell you now you're going to hell, sir and don't doubt it, Roy look at you you're going to hell you haven't changed, Roy so Roy said well, there was murder in his heart anyway didn't like to be told that well, the time went the time went by one day Roy was on his knees and he was alone with God and Roy found himself so broken and weeping before God in fear with an open Bible and put his face into that book and groaned in agony for God to do something that he doesn't correct he wanted God to save him and wash him in the blood and set him free Roy stood up and it was a few days later after that prayer in a room full of people again but this time Noel said with a loud voice Roy Roy yes, Noel now I know you're saved now I can say from my heart without any hesitation or doubt you're born again Roy you've become a child of God now, Roy because of your life and tears welled up in Roy's eyes because of who said that to him because he needed to hear that from Noel he needed to know that from his brother who knew him backwards Roy so changed that it's uncomprehendable that a human could change to the degree he did change it was like having a totally different human in the house that we didn't know that's how changed he was even a child is known by his works God said you know when a person is righteous and sought God and if you don't know he hasn't I'm talking about who you know staggering Roy grew up and is now a missionary and he has brought many, many, many multitudes of people to Christ as young as he is he's now 28 years old married to a young American girl whose father is a Baptist independent Baptist preacher and they are now serving God in Africa they're in America at the moment the Americans bring them over to speak to the churches and the youth especially who by the way pay for him to get over not the churches the youth they tell me pay make sacrifice and they fly them across the world to speak at the youth gatherings mainly youth gatherings but also to churches God is using Roy in a lovely way and I am very grateful to God for that because experiential knowledge is the only moment you can preach outside of experiential knowledge you are serving Satan in the pulpit sir you can't take this book and expound it with anything else but doing damage to souls unless you have experiential knowledge of what God says is the vital thing to get to heaven outside of that there's nothing you can do but damage because your life will find you out your sin will find you out don't doubt that now one of the great preachers of our land that filled stadiums and city halls and civic centers a household name was exposed in terrible sin it was across the newspapers oh the devil will make sure it's on the front pages he was in such depraved sin while he was preaching it was found he would leave the pulpit and go to the most wicked places and the people flocked he disappeared his mother and father didn't know where he went his fiance I stood with her she wept no one knows what happened to him he's gone sir no one even knows if he's alive sir he just ran and facing the consequences once he was found out years went by I was walking down a city street crowd throngs and he was just passing me and I saw through all the faces amazingly one face just focused it was him grey wrinkled that young face was broken and he was walking with a sorrow on his face that he would only see that sin can do to a life and as he walked past me I just put my hand out and touched him and he stopped and looked at me without one word tears swelled up in his eyes because he knew someone had recognized him that obviously hadn't happened much in his life he was as hidden but in his sin totally now well I said can I ask you a question please don't think I'm presumptuous or obnoxious or facetious my heart broke about you my heart feared about you I need to ask you this were you ever real in your life with God were you always in wicked evil sins that shocked this whole nation to the degree you were in evil sins while you preached from the beginning to the end was there ever a moment you repented God now commandeth all men everywhere to repent repent ye therefore and be ye converted that your sins may be blotted out your sins cannot be blotted out unless you've repented from them was there ever a moment you ever turned turn or burn all the old true preachers preached now you preach it you burn it did you ever turn did you ever repent did you ever do what God says is the thing that is evidence that the sins that the blood of Jesus does cleanse you that your sins are blotted out whoso confesseth and forsaketh his sins the same shall have mercy did you do that did you forsake did God set you free whoso commiteth sin is a servant of sin a slave to sin but if the Son shall set you free you shall be free indeed did that happen to you did God deliver you were you made a new creature in Christ or did you just live in sin right through while the crowds came the man looked at me took my hand pulled me away from all the throngs of people walking sat me down in one of the steps of the great city hall of the city and he looked at me for a long time and he asked me questions about me I heard the gospel there was an appeal I came out I said the sinner's prayer and made me sign the day the place that I can always point back to the devil whoever tells me you not and I came by faith and some scriptures then they said to me that night come with us we're going to the open air so the afternoon evening we went to this big open air with these young fellows that had dragged me to this meeting anyway where I came out and so I listened to them saying when they were saved I'm saved they could point back how God saved them and then they turned you've been saved tonight come say so I had heard what to say and I stood up and I said it and this one fellow said whoa the way you spoke you've got something of an anointing so they took me to one of the largest churches in that city in South Africa and I was asked by the preacher to come up in the pulpit because they assured that there would be a blessing and I gave my first testimony and I said and I said just what I'd heard from them saying everything was the right thing to say by Jesus Christ I came with nothing but the blood of Jesus so I somehow everybody was impressed everybody was gripped everybody was moved and I said you need to go to be a preacher I was sent to America after preaching in quite a number of churches sharing because somehow people were gripped I had that oratory ability I came to one of the great institutes of America Evangelical and I came out with the top marks theologically and suddenly I was preaching around America then I came back and I was given the pulpits of the largest churches in South Africa Evangelical churches and then the city halls the civic centers the stadiums people just thronged him was I ever real Keith that's a question to ask someone did I ever repent from my life of sin did I ever ever had stopped no I was in sin right through right through the same sins that the newspaper did Christ ever set me free no but Keith I was sincere and a lot of people believe that and I'll be taking a chance here but I'm almost sure that most Evangelical preachers in this country if you were standing that side and I'm standing this side they would stand with me and say look he was sincere and that I was saved because I came and you come to Jesus he'll in no wise turn away anyone that comes to him through Christ Jesus God promises who shall be called in the name of the Lord I believe many scriptures too but I never ever stopped no don't you believe what most preachers believe in the world once saved always saved because even though I am what I am many many preachers in this land would say I'm saved because I came out it was an anointing of my ministry don't you believe in once saved of course I believe in once saved always saved if you stay saved I gave him about 40 verses and I couldn't give him the next 30 that I still had memorized and he just burst out sobbing weeping and shaking and he ran he ran to get away from God's word that really put him back into fear about his life and his soul nothing of what God says in true salvation had been in his life nothing nothing I don't know how many people I've stood with that were exposed in their sins in such saying that I just burst out sobbing as they were confronted and had to walk away from the pulpits from full time ministry it doesn't mean that everybody's like this that's just not true there are godly there are those who are real there are those who are true there's the moment Roy became real and true that the person who feared him the most knew God had saved him to this day doesn't doubt it and there are multitudes but be careful what you are speaks so loud that the world can't hear what you say they're looking at your walk not listening to your talk they're judging by your actions every day don't believe you deceive by claiming what you've never known they'll accept what they see and know you to be they'll know you by your life alone so don't you believe by claiming what you've never known they'll accept Roy only what they see and know you to be they'll know you by what God said your life alone can we stand please can we bow our heads please father take this message and those who are not saved who've been given the testimony by false prophets who say come receive believe accept but they don't say repent so men never repented they just received accepted and went on in their sin with a testimony that sent them to hell Lord unless this book is a lie help us not to forget what God says in it because I've just touched a few verses hundreds that say exactly the same thing from cover to cover until you're saved nothing else matters in life it was wasted I told him the truth in the light of eternity help everyone in this building young children and old men and preachers to not be called by God a liar when they stand and even before they stand right through their life the Bible will cry it to them but to find God and truth that they have the right to preach this book to the world in Jesus Christ's name Amen I thank you sincerely for coming tonight I know I preach differently don't judge me for preaching the way I preach judge me if I didn't that's the first moment you have the right to judge me if I didn't preach what I know this book cries loud and clear as judgment will come upon every single preacher in this world that didn't preach truth even if people never came back to hear them again because they don't want truth they want entertainment entertainment has replaced the gospel of Christ and truth and whatever the gospel comes after the entertainment the church gives is so limited how do you preach hell after the entertainment the church gives no one can even mention hell in such an atmosphere you work people up into ecstasy of joy as sinners and then you want to tell them to weep over hell and their souls they'll hate you with such an atmosphere all these churches will be judged for replacing the gospel and the truth with entertainment to keep the people coming to church nothing matters sir but that you get saved until then you can sing for 20 hours and then have the 10 minute message if you're lucky if there's anything in it and you can go to hell with all that religion religion won't save you Jesus blood will but the living Christ will set you free if your sins have been washed away in his blood from that which God damned or God lied if he doesn't and by the way what your heart knows deep down you have no right with that in your life still with these things you've never repented in your life nothing ever truly changed there's no appeal for you to come to Jesus to pray I might do that in the next two nights I'm not sure I pray daily for God to leave me what to preach but I do hope you come back even though I preach differently oh that's if you want truth otherwise I have no doubt you will not be back tomorrow I don't want music please sorry not right now I just want you your pastor to pray commit us to God if you need to be saved go to someone you know is saved go fast you don't know they're saved they're not saved if you know go fast or otherwise just get on your knees like Roya and pray alone after this message and cry from your soul to be saved God's way in such a way God won't turn your prayer away outside of that I'm not interested in any any religion it's not of God bow your heads with me we're so thankful for every word that comes from the throne of our God we're thankful for every word that has come forth tonight Lord from your servant Lord we just receive it to our hearts by faith Lord I pray that the Holy Spirit will work in our hearts Lord that we will be grieved inwardly about our sin Lord that we would hate our sin in so much that we would turn away from it in true biblical repentance not only turning away from sin but turning to Christ in absolute surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Lord help us help us see the awful consequences of sin and to see the only way of escape is through repentance and faith turning away from sin turning to Jesus Father I pray that you would work deeply in our hearts that there might be great this great salvation that your word speaks of that it might seize our hearts that we might be saved by your salvation your way and we ask this in Jesus name Amen
