Preachers in the Last Days
Keith Daniel

Keith Daniel (1946 - 2021). South African evangelist and Bible teacher born in Cape Town to Jack, a businessman and World War II veteran, and Maud. Raised in a troubled home marked by his father’s alcoholism, he ran away as a teen, facing family strife until his brother Dudley’s conversion in the 1960s sparked his own at 20. Called to ministry soon after, he studied at Glenvar Bible College, memorizing vast Scripture passages, a hallmark of his preaching. Joining the African Evangelistic Band, he traveled across South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and made over 20 North American tours, speaking at churches, schools, and IBLP Family Conferences. Daniel’s sermons, like his recitation of the Sermon on the Mount, emphasized holiness, repentance, and Scripture’s authority. Married to Jenny le Roux in 1978, a godly woman 12 years his junior, they had children, including Roy, and ministered together. He authored no books but recorded 200 video sermons, now shared online. His uncompromising style, blending conviction and empathy, influenced thousands globally.

Sermon Summary
In this sermon, the preacher emphasizes the importance of uncompromising preaching and safe spiritual fellowship for Christians worldwide. He highlights the need for a group of people who will urgently herald the coming of the Lord and wake up a slumbering church in these last days. The preacher refers to the parable of the ten virgins to illustrate the spiritual state of the true church, which he believes is a result of widespread erroneous preaching. He quotes Amos 8:11-13 to further emphasize the scarcity of hearing the words of the Lord and the resulting thirst among believers.
Sermon Transcription
I'm so grateful to be here with you, and thank you very much for loving Christ in a world that mostly hates him and his name. And even multitudes who gather in churches hate his word. Don't doubt that. Just quote, just quote and see what happens, just what God's word says, with no apology, no undermining, no explaining away. Thank you for loving God enough to come to his house, and God bless those of you who love him enough to love his word without being angered if someone dares to preach it. Can we bow before God? Can we bow before the dear Lord in reverence of fear? Oh Father, thank thee that we can bow in humility before a holy God that will cast billions of souls into eternal damnation. According to this book, we thank thee that we can bow before thee because of the blood of God, the blood of God the Son. We have access and liberty to enter into the holiest, to know we're in the presence of God by faith. Thank thee for the death of Christ, our Savior, his blood that was shed for all men, he tasted death for every man. This book says, and now commandeth all men everywhere to repent, that God will in no wise turn away anyone who comes to him through Christ Jesus, because he tasted death for every man. Oh, we bless thee for Christ, the Savior, for his death, his resurrection, his ascension, the outpouring of thy Holy Spirit that takes this book. For God honors his word above all things, this book tells us, and the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life to this book, that God promises, my word shall not return unto me void, but shall accomplish the purpose for which I sent it. And so we look to thee, oh God, for grace, for mercy, that this morning thou will take thy holy word and speak to all of our hearts in Jesus, the Christ's name, in Jesus who was God the creator of all the universe, God the Savior, and is God the coming judge of every single soul that ever lived, for at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess that he is Lord, and that is just one moment away, in Jesus the Christ's name, amen. Matthew 24 verse 1, and Jesus went out and departed from the temple. Jesus went out and departed from the temple. This is not the first time God left the temple. The Old Testament, the tragedy, the sorrow, the weeping, at the consciousness that the house built for God to be able to be close to men who would seek him in his house and serve him, God departed in grief at man, at man who believed they were serving him. In the ordained religion of God, God got out, he departed. This was not the first time that God walked out in grief, but this time was even more tragic, for they didn't know this was God manifest in the flesh, that they wanted dead. Men can serve God and be so far from God that they think they do God a service to kill those who are truly from God, whether it's God himself or those who serve and preach what he told us to preach, or their blood will be on your hands. Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and his disciples came to him. His disciples came to him for to show him the buildings, the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, see ye not all these things? Verily I say unto you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat, and as he sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately saying, tell us when shall these things be? When shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming? What shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end, the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed, take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name saying, I am Christ, I am Christ, I am Christ, and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars, ye shall hear of wars, and rumors of wars. See that ye be not troubled, for all these things must come to pass. But the end is not yet, the end is not yet, for nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in diverse places. There shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in diverse places. All these are the beginning, all these are the beginning of sorrows, the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you, and ye shall be hated of all nations. For my name's sake, ye shall be hated, ye shall be hated of all nations, for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets, many false prophets shall rise, many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Because iniquity shall abound, shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel, this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world, for a witness unto all nations. This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world, for a witness unto all nations. And then, then shall the end come. Then, then, then shall the end come. Now in this unique passage of eschatology, in this unique passage of eschatology, that is the order of events leading up to Christ's return for his church, the order of events leading up to Christ's return for his church, in this unique passage of eschatology, Jesus, Jesus reveals to us that in the last days, in the last days, there will be a staggering escalation, there will be a staggering escalation of wars across the world. For nations shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. In the last days, there will be a staggering escalation of wars across the world. In the last days, there will be a staggering escalation of natural disasters and widespread devastating diseases. There shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places, in place after place after place. In the last days, there will be a staggering escalation of natural disasters and widespread devastating diseases. In the last days, in the last days, there will be a staggering escalation of hatred, hatred against Christians worldwide. Ye shall be hated of all nations, ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. In the last days, there will be a staggering escalation of hatred against Christians worldwide. In the last days, there will be a staggering escalation of erroneous heretical preachers, of erroneous heretical preachers. Many, many false prophets shall rise. In the last days, there will be a staggering escalation of erroneous, heretical, yet dynamic preachers who will thrive in popularity under the banner of Christianity worldwide. And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many, the Greek, the masses, who gather under the banner of Christianity in the name of Christianity worldwide. In the last days, this speaks in the context of Christ's religion. In the last days, there will be a staggering escalation of erroneous, heretical, yet dynamic preachers who will thrive in popularity under the banner of Christianity. Many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many, the masses, the masses. In the last days, there will be a staggering escalation of moral decadence worldwide, a staggering escalation of moral decadence. Iniquity, iniquity shall abound. The only place you can use this Greek word outside of the Bible is when you refer to an avalanche, gaining momentum. It is gaining, nothing stops it. Devastation, nothing will stop it, nothing will stop it. It will destroy everything in its way. It's a staggering word Christ uses here. In the last days, there will be a staggering escalation of moral decadence, moral decadence worldwide, resulting in a massive falling away, a massive falling away, because iniquity shall abound. The love of many shall wax cold. Now that Greek word, many is the most, Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, warns us the love of the most, the masses who outwardly embrace Christianity worldwide. In the last days, there will be a staggering escalation, a staggering escalation of moral decadence, resulting in a massive falling away and departure from the truth. And yet, in spite of all this, in the last days, there will be a staggering escalation of world mission enterprise attempted by the faithful. In the last days, there will be a staggering escalation of world mission enterprise attempted by the faithful. This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then, then shall the end come. Then shall the end come. But today, I want to single out, I want to single out only one of these staggering statements that Christ made in this unique passage. Today, I want to single out only one of these staggering statements that Christ made in this passage, which we find in verse 11. Many, many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive, many shall deceive the masses who outwardly embrace Christianity under the banner of Christianity in the last days, these tragic last days. Many false prophets arise and so deceive the masses, the masses. Now, the tragic result of such widespread, erroneous preaching in these last days, the tragic result of such widespread, erroneous preaching in these last days, I believe is revealed in the next chapter. That is chapter 25, where Jesus said in verse 1, then, then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins which took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom, which took their lamps and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish, foolish. They that were foolish, they that were foolish took their lamps and took no oil, no oil with them. But the wise, the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps, the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps, while the bridegroom tarried, while the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, behold, behold, the bridegroom cometh, the bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins, all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps, and the foolish, the foolish said unto the wise, give us, give us of your oil, for our lamps are gone out, our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered saying, not so, lest there be not enough for us and you, but go ye rather to them that sell and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, the bridegroom came, and they that were ready, they that were ready went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins saying, Lord, Lord, open to us, open to us. But he answered, but he said unto them, verily, I say unto you, I know you not, I know you not, I know you not, I know you not. Now the five foolish virgins believed that they were true Christians. The five foolish virgins believed that they were true Christians, and that what they had heard and embraced from preachers and churches was the truth, but they were tragically deceived. They were tragically deceived in what they heard from these many false prophets that Christ warned would rise up in the last days and would deceive the masses who outwardly embrace Christianity. Deceived, they were tragically heard, they were tragically deceived in what they'd heard from these many false prophets that Christ warned would rise and thrive in these tragic last days, these fearful last days. But wait now, let's also consider the five wise virgins carefully, for there's something also tragic revealed here about them. There's something also tragic revealed here about them. While the bridegroom tarried, while the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. I believe this tells us of the spiritual state of the true church generally worldwide in these fearful last days. I believe this tells us of the spiritual state of the true church generally worldwide in these fearful last days, which in the light of the rest of the scriptures, in the light of the rest of the scriptures, will be the result, will be the result of the dearth and scarcity of uncompromising truth being preached generally in the evangelical pulpits worldwide. I believe this tells us of the spiritual state of the true church generally worldwide in these fearful last days, which in the light of the rest of the scriptures will be the result of the dearth and scarcity of uncompromising truth being preached generally worldwide in the evangelical pulpits in these tragic devastating last days. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing of the words of the Lord, and they shall wander from sea to sea and from the north even to the east. They shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord and shall not find it, and shall not find it. In that day, in that day shall the fair virgins, in that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst. Amos 8 verse 11 to 13. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst. That day is now beloved. Christians worldwide faint for thirst. Christians worldwide faint for thirst in their search for uncompromising preaching and safe spiritual fellowship. Christians worldwide faint for thirst in their search for uncompromising preaching and safe spiritual fellowship. But wait now, wait now, there's also a third group of people spoken of in this valley. parable that are overlooked by most of us. There's also a third group of people spoken of in this parable that are overlooked by most of us. Those who must herald the coming of the Lord with great urgency, whose cry must wake up a slumbering, sleeping church generally worldwide in these tragic last days. And it is to this group, it is to this group that I specifically would preach today. It is to this group that I urgently would cry the words of Paul, that I urgently would cry the words of Paul in 2 Timothy 4 verse 1, I charge thee therefore by God, I charge thee therefore by God and the Lord Jesus Christ who shall judge the quick and the dead, the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom. Preach the word, I charge thee therefore by God, preach the word, be instant, be ready, in season, out of season, be ready always. I charge thee therefore by God, preach the word, be instant, in season, out of season, reprove, rebuke, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine, for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine. The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears, and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. They shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. This is what is happening right now, beloved, worldwide, worldwide. Jesus warned us that in the last days many false prophets, erroneous heretical preachers in the name of Christ, holding this book as if they know it and have authority to preach it, in the last days Jesus warned us many false prophets, liars, because they don't preach it while they hold it for authority. Many false prophets shall rise and so deceive many, the masses, in the last days they'll deceive. I charge thee, therefore, by God, preach the word, preach the word, be instant, be ready, that is, prepare yourselves, literally in the Greek, prepare yourselves, be instant. Here, I believe, is an urgent cry from God's heart to those whom he would separate to preach in these fearful last days. Here, I believe, is an urgent cry from God's heart to those whom he would separate to preach in these last days, to prepare themselves, to prepare themselves to preach uncompromising truth fearlessly, no matter what the cost, to prepare themselves to preach uncompromising truth fearlessly, no matter what the cost. I charge thee, therefore, by God, preach the word, be instant, in season, out of season, be ready, always. I believe we should stop at this point, for a moment, to carefully consider what God is saying in the light of the rest of the Scriptures. That's all that interests me, is the Scriptures. I'm not interested in anything else in these devastating, compromising days, but to give the Word of God back to the people of God. I believe we should stop here for a moment to consider what God is saying in the light of the rest of the Scriptures, when he calls upon those whom he separates to preach, to be ready, to be ready. I charge thee, therefore, by God, preach the word, be instant, be ready, in season, out of season, be ready, always. Be ready, always, to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. 1 Peter 3 verse 15. Be ready, always, to give an answer. The heart of the righteous studieth to answer. The heart of the righteous studieth, studieth to answer. Proverbs 15 verse 28. Study, study, study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 I charge thee, therefore, by God, preach the word, be instant, be ready, always. Be ready. In the Old Testament, in the Old Testament, a man called Ezra was ready, was ready for God to take up and use mightily in his generation, for Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments. Ezra 7 verse 10. For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord, literally, for Ezra had devoted himself to the study of the law of the Lord, to enable him to preach God's Word with authority in Israel. He separated himself to study, to show himself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. When Daniel separated himself to seek God earnestly, to give him revelation and understanding of the Scriptures, when Daniel separated himself to seek God earnestly, to give him revelation and understanding of the Scriptures, a heavenly messenger appeared to him and said, fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. Daniel 10 verse 12. But I will show thee that which is noted in the Scripture of truth. I will show thee that which is vital. I will show thee that which is noted in the Scripture of truth. Verse 21, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. Chapter 9 verse 22, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. Chapter 9 verse 22, for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. Luke 15 verse 28, when the religious leaders and teachers of Israel contested and disputed with Stephen concerning the Scriptures, when the religious leaders of Israel contested and disputed with Stephen concerning the Scriptures, we read that they were not able, they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake. Acts 6 verse 10, they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake. But O preacher, O God, to so equip you, you must separate yourself. As Ezra, as Daniel, and as young Timothy, to study, to sow thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing, rightly dividing the word of truth. Paul urged young Timothy in 1 Timothy 4 verse 13, till I come, give attendance to reading, to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine, till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the Presbytery. Meditate upon these things, give thyself wholly to them, that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself, take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine, and unto the doctrine. For in doing this, take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine, continue in them. For in doing this, for in doing this, thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. For in doing this, thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. Don't neglect the diligent study of the Scriptures for your own spiritual protection. Don't neglect the diligent study of the Scriptures for your own spiritual protection, and for the spiritual protection of those who will be influenced by your preaching, Timothy. Down the line to you, Keith, and you, Brian. God didn't have Timothy in mind when he made this book. He had me, and everyone that dares to stand in the name of Christ with this book, as though God commissioned it. Don't neglect the diligent study of the Scriptures for your own spiritual protection, and the spiritual protection of those who will be influenced by your preaching. Don't neglect this. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine, continue in them. For in doing this, thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. In the life of every preacher, in the life of every preacher, there must be a separation for preparation. In the life of every preacher, there must be a separation for preparation. As Christ himself, who cried, Wist ye not that I must be about my father's business? Luke 2, verse 49. My meat is to do the will of him that sent me. John 4, verse 34. My meat. You gain strength, you disciples, by what you worry that I'm not getting enough of right now. You worry about my strength, disciples. My food, that I gain strength from, and maintain strength to survive from, is to pursue and be consumed in fulfilling the purpose and plan of God for my life and ministry. If I neglect that, right down through the ages, those of you that preach, this is your words from your soul daily, or you're in troubles, and so are those that you preach to. If you are truly called by God to preach, you do not love to preach. That is sacrilege. That is blasphemy. If you are called by God in truth to preach, separated by God to the gospel, for the gospel, in the Greek. If you are called, truly called by God to preach, you do not love to preach. You live to preach. You live to preach. And if you don't live to preach, brother, get out of the pulpit. For everyone's sake, most especially for God's name. And at midnight, I pity any Christian on earth in the pulpit or out, that doesn't know how close that moment is. I pity everyone you preach to. I pity them. For there will be no urgency like God requires in the last days, in your messages, that will make people flee and never come back, but never sleep again properly, or repent and get right with God. Then they'll come back to hear such preaching that's faithful in these days. At midnight, there was a cry made, an urgent cry, a fearful cry, from preachers who had separated themselves in obedience to God's call to study, in such a way that they would be approved by God. And everyone that hears them preaching every day, that they preach on earth, will know they have to do with God, not this man. That's what it means to be approved by God in the pulpit. Preachers who had separated themselves in obedience to God's call to study, when other people can't identify with the separation. You say to the people who love you, and you love the most, wish ye not. How's it you don't know and understand I must be about my father's business. You don't neglect your wife, brother. You don't neglect your children. You don't neglect the things you do to survive that God makes you. But you will be stunned how much you neglect if you don't, whenever there's an opportunity, choose to get back to the Bible. Heaven help everyone that's near you, if you're a preacher. Oh, at midnight there was a cry made, a fearful cry, an urgent cry, Jesus said, from preachers who had separated themselves in obedience to the call of God, to study, to show themselves approved under God. Listen carefully. Jesus said, at midnight there was a cry made, behold, the bridegroom cometh, beloved. The saved must be awakened to urgently trim their lamps, to rekindle the faltering flame of compromising Christianity worldwide, drastically to ready themselves for Christ's return, and the preaching must do it of this book. In such a way, they'll know they are grief to God, the way you preach it, if they're not ready. Tragically, the masses who have been deceived by erroneous doctrines may be staggered, even bewildered, and angered at the consciousness of those who in the last days must herald the return of Christ with such urgency from the pulpits again. Yet, it seems that the masses will be unable to embrace or understand truth. It seems the masses will be unable to embrace and understand the truth in spite of such urgency that will offend them, will stagger them. They will know such preachers are suddenly raising up, but they will not be able to function by faith. You see, the mindset is so geared to entertainment that nothing draws them to a preacher that isn't an actor, entertainer in his charismatic personality that grips them. He dresses like Hollywood, he acts like Hollywood, and the more he does, the more they flock, but give them someone that just gives the Word of God with no personality of his own virtually. Our charismatic personalities have stopped God from reaching the people. If we are saved, we rely on them, and so do the people rely on that to entertain us from the pulpit to the singers that we allow, that emulate the world singers at their best. Professionally, they look like the world, they sway like the world, they are the world. It's the world's music in the church today, or the world, no, the church in the world won't come, but these people will be so in a mindset, such a groove that they cannot get out of. The brainwashing, the addiction to entertainment, to manifestations, to outward things, emotionalism, so long as it's charismatic, emotional actors and entertainers, we'll come, we'll be gripped, but give us that book, and godly, sanctified singing, and godly, holy, sanctified hymns that were written in blood, not by some emotional people, with sentimental words that send you stone cold if you know the doctrines of this book, that they sing hours before they give you 20 minutes with the word, and then they will only want people with itching ears that will entertain them, but they'll turn away their ears from the truth, and so be turned under fables. God says, knowing that's the truth, they don't want it, otherwise they won't have any desire for church, from the children up, these masses, who tragically will be unable, because of the mindset, the addicted to charismatic, manifest, emotional, outward things, worldly, charismatic entertainers, from the preachers to the singers, all they're doing is standing in the pulpit, entertaining where they should just be in the theater, because that's where they belong. If the godliest person is not comfortable and blessed by you, brother, you're an entertainer, you just happen to have this as your stage, and all you want is applause. You never pled the blood, you never got washed and anointed and prayed through that God will speak to the hearts in such a staggering way, through what you carefully have selected, and by the right of your life, giving God to anoint you, will prepare such a way, that before the preacher stands up, people will be in holy reverence of fear of God. That's what it was, brother, until this generation, all through the centuries. We happen to be the ones that say the old hymns of our faith will put us to sleep and lose the youth. No, you just lose the world. You try and win the world by being like the world. All that'll happen is the world will win you, and they will be comfortable while you sit there with your entertainment in your church, and go to hell, because the last thing you want to do is offend them with godly music, godly sanctified live singing with a young or old, uncompromising preaching as the centrality and the only thing we, you see, God, ordained by the foolishness of preaching, this book, men, will be saved. Be careful if you try the world's methods. You might entertain them and even get their applause, but they'll go to hell if you neglect this book, sir. Or if you're scared of preaching truth, sir, at the cost of losing their tithing, you let them go to hell when you're not right with God. At the cost of losing their seats, you let them go to hell, but don't offend them. From the music to the sermons, even the length, don't go over 20 minutes. Most people will say in this world that once an hour or so of preaching, of singing, and entertainment, that they get anywhere in the world a bit better. No, sorry, we're as good as the world today, if you're so professional. To the evangelists and the preachers that dare to stand in any pulpit representing Jesus Christ, his voice, his message, who you will give account of if you took one word, not one sentence, if you left one word out for fear of offending, or added one word to explain away for fear of anybody walking away under conviction and not coming back, you will be in a terrible situation, brother. Oh, I know nothing about this book. Does God tragically say to the preachers of the evangelical church of this day and age what he said to the compromising, grievous preachers of decadent times of old? Ye are not valiant for the truth. He said to preachers, does your name, is it missing from the great honorarium role of God for those who were willing to have hazarded their lives for the gospel? When did you even hazard any situation by what you did in the name of Christ in the pulpit or with this book, preacher, that even caused you a little bit of offense? Not willing to join the honorarium, placing yourselves in a position where that's written across your life to this day, men who have hazarded their lives for the gospel. Not me, sir. Oh, may God give us such men again who will preach uncompromising truth in this day and age to wake up the slumbering, compromising church generally worldwide with unadulterated, uncompromising truth, preach with compassion, but fearlessly. The only person you fear on earth that you call by God and write with God is God. The moment there's someone else, sir, I pity everyone near you. And for this, I call upon the preachers of this world today. I beg them to listen and not to be angry at this man. Be angry if I preach something else. Don't be angry if I preach truth. Someone has to. I call upon them no matter what the cost to dedicate their lives. Even if you lose 90 percent of your congregation, for God's sake. Rather have two pews of those people who want the truth than a church full of hypocrites who want someone with itching ears. But they don't want the truth. Not like that. I quoted one sermon, just the word of God, and I sat down. The offense was like hell had broken out in one city. Beginning with the pulpit. And an old man stood up and said, I want to ask a question. It worries me. What did offend you? His manners, his character, or what he preached? Because all he did was quote Jesus Christ's sermon in the mouth and sat. Is it him you're fighting? Tell me what it is about the boy. Was it God you're fighting and don't want in this church? Oh, by the way. Before he sat down, most had gone in fear because he was telling the truth. He said a staggering word. Jesus Christ himself stood in your pulpit. You would be offended because that was just Christ's words. No, that wasn't word perfect. If Jesus Christ himself stood in our pulpit and said exactly word perfect what he said 2000 years ago that this boy quoted, you would kick him out of the pulpit forever. God himself would be kicked out, let alone this boy. Oh, for men who would dedicate themselves afresh to be valiant for the truth, to hazard their lives for the gospel sake, to be what God needs. Now, men who will preach uncompromising truth fearlessly without compromise, no matter what the cost. In these last moments, for the sake of souls whose blood will be on their hands if they know truth and refuse to preach it or start cutting with the scissors every verse that I quote that you disagree from Ezekiel 33 to 7 or not. If you want to disregard the Old Testament, everything about Jesus, you better disregard too. How many today are conscious that God would separate your life, the vital separation from all your ambitions, all your plans, young man, young lady, future Amy Carmichael, Jesse Penn Lewis's, who stagger the world, who even stagger presidents who sit in awe while God ministers through them. Oh, God takes ladies. Eighty percent of the full-time workers of the world are women. Did you know that in the missing fields? Because the men don't go. They don't mind the car, the medical aid, the house, the salary, the comfort, the loudspeakers, but the women go. The men would not die of diseases. So 80 percent of full-time workers in the world missing today preaching the gospel and winning the souls are women who will give the authority totally to the man who comes or the souls that they save when they're ready to be scriptural, but women go to bring them to Christ. Oh, men get the pulpits. The women win the souls. Trust me in heaven, you'll be stunned, you who said they were a disgrace for sharing the gospel where you wouldn't go, who die in their forties and how many of I know disease-ridden because they went into huts, mud to win those Christ said go and reach. How many become conscious under such messages with such words from God's words that God is separating them, that God's reaching where no human voice can reach. I was saved three months, 41 years ago, and I sat in the front row of a church with not one thought in my entire life of ever being a preacher. I wouldn't be so presumptuous to think God could use such a base, weak and despised human as I knew I was. But those were the qualifications the book says God looks for so that no flesh can glory in his presence. I just didn't know that at that time. I was unprepared. The preacher cried out, oh, a little bit of what I quoted today and made an appeal to those like Isaiah who suddenly become conscious of God's voice, whom shall I send? Who will go first? And said I, here am I. Oh God, I never realized God is looking for a man. The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth seeking to show himself strong on the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Where is it? Was Isaiah heard God's voice because he was ready in many ways for God's voice? No wonder he lay his life on the altar of God that moment, crying out, here am I. Take my life, let it be consecrated to thee. Have it, Lord. Oh, to make an appeal that God's voice has reached your heart, even if you've never thought this would ever come upon you, but you know you have to do with God. Like Isaiah suddenly was conscious of God's voice, that God was literally asking and his voice was being heard by this man. Who can I send? Who will go to preach like we've heard tonight, by the way, at that cost? Here am I, send me. Oh, I had trembled from about a quarter way through that sermon. I began to weep. I shook in fear as I realized no human voice can reach where God's voice reaches through God's word. And I said, God, you've done so much for me. How can I say no? But I know this is the. And sweating and tears and trembling and fear, I stood. Here am I. I thought I was the only one. There were five of us behind me. I didn't look. All five God took. All went into God's service. All separated themselves for preparation. One died serving God in the mission field. Between the five who stood that night, hundreds of thousands of people came to know Jesus Christ as their savior. Just those five, in case you think it was our decision. The rest of us are still in God's service. I'm 62 years old now. I was 20 at that time, and I have never doubted not one day in my life that that day God asked me to burn every ambition, every plan I ever made. And never, ever look back. And separate myself to preach till I die. But I had to prepare and I was willing. I never once looked back and wanted what I stopped all my dreams and plans. Don't stoop to be a king. If God calls you to preach, William Carey said, you've got to know you stoop to a level beyond comprehension of what the prevalence God could have given you if you said yes. And don't tell me you had no option. I can give you about four passages of scriptures of those who said no and what God said and did to them. You can't go to 90-something percent of the evangelical seminars and Bible schools on earth. They will destroy you. They're so far from truth. Evangelical seminars. You don't go to be interviewed anymore. You go to interview them to see if they're going to destroy you with psychology replacing the gospel. And 90-something percent put the emphasis on psychology rather than this book. Put the emphasis on actors. Most of them will tell you and train you how to joke. Joke and get them roaring. Break the ice. How do you preach the judgments of God to people you've got roaring? Go and be a comedian. And that's what they're teaching you to be. Don't offend. No 90 percent plus will destroy you, young man, young lady. So you better be careful that if you go somewhere to prepare, if it isn't going to be through your own pastor and teachers to their missions, you be careful you go where people say they won't destroy you. You're safe. They're not perfect, but they at least don't attack the foundation of our faith, the Bible. The great thing about being called by God is if it's God, he never hurries you. The devil will hurry you on decisions. He'll always hurry you. If it's God, you say, here am I. This is your voice, God. But God confirms, and you wait until he so confirms. And he is God that created the universe. Don't doubt it. He'll tell you his will. But this book teaches me something. Let God confirm. Until you have to go, don't go. The need is not the call. All of us are called, but the separation to prepare yourselves and to preach, to stagger this world. You go when you know that if you don't go, you are defying God. Otherwise, don't go. That's how clear the call must be, or you'll give up after the first trial. Satan will send upon you. And there isn't a day, if you're in God's service, that that doesn't happen. All the powers of hell, to the degree you preaching truth, and in the front line of the battle, no matter what comes against you, will be against you. Don't you doubt that. You need to know and point back to God when you're on your face weeping and all hell's against you. Coming from the most unexpected sources always, always. But go or lose the highest honor God could ever give a human after salvation. Lose it for eternity. I'm going to stagger you. I'm going to ask those, I'm going to ask those who know somehow they have to do with the voice of God to the basest, weakest, and most despised man probably on earth or in the pulpits, that I'm not arguing about. But you know, though, God somehow reaches where no human voice, and you know, there's something about when no human voice reaches. I have to do with you. I'm going to ask men, women, children, young people who have heard God's voice in this meeting. Somehow they know they have to do with God concerning their life calling. But God wants them to do this, to separate themselves for preparation, to preach uncompromising truth fearlessly when they're ready, when God is ready with you, so that you're not ashamed. You go and prepare yourselves till you're ready. And while you're preparing, God will use you or you're not in the center of God's will, but for what God ultimately wants for you not to be ashamed. You need to separate yourselves, but you will as God confirms and leads and he will. You will go. You won't say no. I want to ask every one of you that in their heart knows they have to do with God here. You're at school. In one moment, it's finished. Life is that, let alone a few years. I don't know how long we've got, but I know it's the last moments. No man can tell the day, the hour, or the year, but this book tells us it's pretty close. Or you're not reading the book with open eyes anyway. We know it's close. So close it makes me willing to die in the pulpit, but preach as if it's the last occasion God's given me, because it could be. I'm going to ask those who in the presence of God like Isaiah, conscious of his voice, would say, here am I. Send me. Take my life. What left? Have it, God, for thyself. Let it be consecrated to thee. Take my moments, my days, my intellect, every faculty of my being I lay on the altar of God for God to use, and I will wait for thee to confirm. I won't rush, and if this is God and this is confirmed, I will go. I will prepare myself, and I will preach, as I've heard here, from thy book, no matter what the cost, till I die, and as I'm dying, by thy grace. To those who would say that in this morning's meeting to God, and who need to, who need to at the dealings of God in your hearts, young and old, no matter where God sends you, to those who would say, here am I, if this is thee, God, send me, here am I. I ask those who know they need to do this, or grieve God, I ask those who know they have to do with God here, to stand right now, and those that stand, I'm going to pray for. It costs, doesn't it, to say no to all your dreams, if God has something else in mind. So, we have more than five, and by God's grace, that means, if it's anything like the five that stood up there 41 years ago, a few hundred thousand return. More than that, the church will wake up, and God seeks such men, not the shallow, fearful, weak, placid, anything but touch costs no, people. Can we all bow our heads in prayer, please? Can those who stand right now, no matter who you are, with no one judging you, because God knows you, will you pray aloud, as the others in reverential fear of God and respect for those who are praying such things, will shut their eyes and bow their heads before God. If they have any, I owe to have respect left for God, not to stare as if we're at a picnic. I ask those who are bowing before God standing, to pray aloud with me. Oh God, here am I, send me, with all my heart, have thy way God. I lay my life on the altar of God, take my life, and let it be consecrated, Lord, to thee, to the will, the purpose, the plan, the blueprint, no matter what it costs. Have thy way, take what's left of my life, I will wait for God's confirmation, till I know where God is leading me. And I will go, by thy grace, as I daily devour the word, and am consumed in prayer, I know thou will keep me, no matter what the devil, demons, and all the powers of hell, who mainly work through religious people, to destroy those who would preach truth. I will survive God, by thy grace, what I have uttered in thy presence, take, and honor, and use me, by preparing me, to stagger the powers of hell, by the way I study, from this time forth, to be used of God. With the one weapon, that church has put down, in the battle, in Jesus Christ's name, Amen. One more question, so that your blood's not on my hands, if you're going to hell, religious, playing the fool, not interested in the word of God, no one will ever speak to you like this again, I guarantee you, so don't be scared, you'll never have to endure such a preacher again in life, don't get upset, it's just a moment. I ask you if you're going to hell, and you know it, and you know if you're going to hell, you would come to Christ, and say, God, I'm going to be saved, the standard this book preaches, even if I lose every friend I have on earth in one day, my life will change to this standard. Before I tell anybody on earth, I belong to Jesus Christ, and I will not be ashamed of thy words, I will share them, the standard, from the day I'm saved, to my knowledge, the light that is given to every soul I can, as God gives me grace, with no compromise, and by thy grace, maybe I'll be able to join those who are valiant for the truth, and separate, once I've saved my life for the gospel. If there's anyone here, and you will be amazed how many, when I've said this across the world, stood and got saved, and some, or quite a few, who stood at that last moment, went into God's service, I want to ask you just once, in case there's someone who has that iota of integrity in them, sitting in God's house, that would say, Lord, I'm going to hell, but take me, I want to be saved. I want to serve. If there's anyone who needs God's salvation, young or old, no matter who you are, even if you're an elder, or a deacon, or a youth leader, you can't believe how many of them I've prayed for God to save them from hell. Nicodemus, how is it you don't know you have to be born again? In truth, I ask anyone who's going to hell and knows it, and would seek God today to save them from a life of sin, to serve, to stand right now, and say, it's me, God. And those that stand would be immediately taken to be prayed with. And he will in no wise turn away anyone who comes to him through Christ Jesus. Is there any that would be that brave? I only ask once more, stand now, for that's your answer to God, perhaps forever, believe me, that's your answer then, to God. Can we all stand, please? I'm preaching tonight, it will be interesting to see who comes back. Thank you. For those who came on the first night.
