There is not likely language that is strong enough to describe the import of what happened in 70 AD.

TMK,I'm interested, do you think all of Matthew 24 was fulfilled in AD70 or just the bit about the abomination of desolation? If all of it, then you would have ignore many verses that clearly have not been fulfilled yet.

I am interested in knowing how y'all define "abomination of desolation". Moderns shrink back from using the term abomination to describe any perversion, sin, disobedience like the OT does. So, what is an abomination? Maybe if one can discern this it would help in our understanding of this term.
