Luke 11:51 Jesus’ Endorsement of the OT CanonThe OT was arranged from Genesis to Chronicles as the last book. Abel (Gen. 3) was the first, and Zacharias ( 2 Chron. 24:20-21) @ 800 BC; note from A to Z, or first to last. Not Chronologically, Urijah, in Jer. 26:20-23 in 609 BC, also slain. So it is a literary arrangment, not chronologically. Also Josephus names the 22 books of their Bible, the same as ours, and here Jesus covers the death of all the prophets from A to Z, or first to last, as listed in the Hebrew OT.
