Isaiah 62

Isaiah 62:1-12

Isaiah 62:2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name. Isaiah 62:2 — “and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name” - Comments – God called Abraham by a new name in reference to His newly established covenant with Him. This new name reflected this covenant in that it served as both a reminder and a prophecy of its fulfillment. We can assume that the new name that the Lord will give to Jerusalem will reflect the same.
