Present Day Hoaxes

PRESENT DAY HOAXES In the first chapter we examined the so-called evidence in support of some sort of prehistoric man. The hoax of the Piltdown Man was exposed as the jaw bone of an ape, just 50 years deceased. The teeth were deliberately filed down to disguise their original shape and and artificially colored with bichromate of potash. This is typical of the extremes to which men will go to in order to discredit God's Word. In Genesis

1:26, God gave a simple account of how man came into being as a direct act of creation, "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them."

God does not take the credit for an ape bearing His image. Remember, the Heidelberg Man, the Nebraska Man (Hespero Pithecus), the Java Ape-Man, the Neanderthal Man and all the rest have been PROVEN A HOAX!

One thing that is not a hoax; but, the truth, is found in John 5:24.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
