Second Lesson On Miracles THIRD YEAR—SUBJECT 43 Second Lesson on Miracles (READ Matthew 8) The thirteenth miracle performed by the Son of God and recorded is stilling the winds on Galilee in the time of a storm. After crossing the sea he cast out some devils, cured an afflicted woman, raised from the dead the ruler’s daughter, healed two blind men, cast out a dumb spirit, fed five thousand who came to hear him, walked on the sea, cured the Syro-Phoeni cian child, cast out a deaf and dumb spirit, fed four thousand, and opened the eyes of two blind men at Bethesda. It seems by this time that nothing would have been able to convince the great multitude that thronged Jesus that he was not the Son of God, as everything in nature was obedient to his command.
