Judges 7:14 Summary
Judges 7:14 shows us how God gave a man a dream that would help Gideon know He was with him and would help him win the battle. The dream was about a loaf of barley bread that knocked down a tent, and the man's friend said this was a sign that God would give the Midianites into Gideon's hand (Judges 7:13). This reminds us that God is always in control and can use anyone or anything to accomplish His plans (Proverbs 19:21, Isaiah 55:11). Just like Gideon, we can trust in God's power and promises, even when things seem impossible (Matthew 19:26, Luke 1:37).

This event is part of the larger story of God's redemption and deliverance of His people, as seen in the Exodus from Egypt (Exodus 14:13-14) and the ultimate deliverance through Jesus Christ (John 10:10, Romans 5:8).
