Exodus 30:20 Summary
This verse, Exodus 30:20, reminds us that God is holy and demands purity from those who approach Him. The priests had to wash with water before ministering to the Lord to symbolize spiritual cleansing, and if they didn't, they would die. While we don't have to physically wash with water today, we still need to seek spiritual cleansing and purity in our relationship with God, as seen in 1 John 1:9. By confessing our sins and seeking God's forgiveness, we can approach Him with confidence and worship Him in spirit and truth, just like Jesus taught in John 4:24.
