1 Samuel 28:18 Summary
This verse is saying that because King Saul did not obey God's commands and carry out His judgment on the Amalekites, God has turned away from him and is now judging him. This is a reminder that obedience to God is crucial, as seen in Jeremiah 7:23, and that disobedience can have serious consequences, as seen in this verse. Just like King Saul, we must be careful to obey God's commands and follow His plan for our lives, as seen in Proverbs 3:5-6. By doing so, we can avoid God's judgment and experience His blessings, as seen in Deuteronomy 11:27.
