1 Samuel 25:30 Summary
This verse is about Abigail recognizing that God has big plans for David, plans that include making him the ruler of Israel (as seen in 1 Samuel 16:13). She trusts that God will do all the good He promised, and that gives her confidence to act with kindness and wisdom. Just like Abigail, we can trust in God's goodness and faithfulness, even when things seem uncertain (as in Psalm 23:4). By looking to God's promises, like those in Jeremiah 29:11, we can have hope for the future and live with confidence and purpose.
