Psalms 100

1 Make a joyful [loud, triumphant] noise [shout, sing] to the LORD [Yehovah, the Lord of all], all [every part of] the earth [land, world, creation]. word study 2 Serve [worship, obey] the LORD [Yehovah, The covenant Name of God] with gladness [joy, joyful celebration]; come [approach, enter] into His presence [before His face, into His sight] with joyful [triumphant, celebratory] songs [singing, shouts of joy]. word study 3 Know [be aware, recognize] that the LORD [Yehovah, The covenant Name of God] is God [Elohim, the supreme God]. It is He [the Creator] who made [formed, created] us, and we are His [belonging to Him, His people]; we are His people [a nation, a community], and the sheep [flock, those cared for] of His pasture [the land where He cares for us, His provision]. word study 4 Enter His gates [with joyful thanksgiving, from the heart] with thanksgiving [and praise, a song of worship] and His courts [of divine presence, holy areas] with praise [and adoration, a hymn of glory]; give thanks [and acknowledge His goodness] to Him and bless [and honor, kneel in worship] His name [fame, renown, reputation]. word study 5 For the LORD [Yehovah, The covenant Name of God] is good [pleasant, beneficial], and His loving devotion [kindness, mercy] endures forever [always, to the age]; His faithfulness [firmness, security] continues to all generations [periods of time, groups of people]. word study
