17 Bible Verses on Waiting on God

17 verses

In times of uncertainty and trial, believers are encouraged to wait on God, trusting in His sovereignty and timing. The prophet Isaiah reminds us that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength and soar on wings like eagles (Isaiah 40:31). The Psalms and Lamentations also emphasize the importance of waiting patiently for God's deliverance, with the assurance that He is good to those who wait for Him (Psalms 27:13-14, Lamentations 3:25). By trusting in God's wisdom and guidance, as exhorted in Proverbs, and waiting on His perfect timing, as encouraged in Isaiah 30:18, believers can find peace and hope in the midst of uncertainty.
