Satan is known to disguise himself as a benevolent being, masquerading as an angel of light to deceive humanity. The Bible also speaks of fallen angels, as mentioned in Jude 1:6, who have abandoned their rightful place and now oppose God's will, often working through spiritual forces of darkness, as described in Ephesians 6:12. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their actions.
