13 Bible Verses on Sing

13 verses

Worshiping God through music is a joyful command in Scripture, with the Psalms frequently encouraging believers to sing praises to the Lord. In Psalms 105:2 and 9:2, the people of God are urged to sing of His mighty acts and tell of His wonderful works. The apostle Paul writes in Colossians 3:16 that singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs is a way to let the word of Christ dwell in believers' hearts, while Psalms 100:1-2 invites all the earth to make a joyful noise and serve the Lord with gladness. As James 5:13 suggests, singing can also be a natural response to trials and hardships, bringing comfort and strength to those who worship.
