In times of spiritual uncertainty, believers are encouraged to examine their faith and test its authenticity. The apostle Paul urges Christians to evaluate their own faith, as stated in 2 Corinthians 13:5, and to build on the foundation of Jesus Christ, as warned in 1 Corinthians 3:11-15. Jude 1:22 also reminds us to show mercy to those who doubt, highlighting the importance of gentle guidance and support. Meanwhile, Ephesians 2:8 and Mark 11:24 emphasize the role of faith in receiving God's gifts and answered prayers, underscoring the need for trust and confidence in God's power and love.

For no one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. If what he has built survives, he will receive a reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss. He himself will be saved, but only as if through the flames.
Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Can’t you see for yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you—unless you actually fail the test?
For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God,
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes.
Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
“You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and you do not understand these things? Truly, truly, I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, and yet you people do not accept our testimony. If I have told you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things? No one has ascended into heaven except the One who descended from heaven—the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
