12 Bible Verses on Long Suffering

12 verses

In the midst of trials and hardships, believers are called to cultivate a spirit of patience and endurance. According to 2 Peter 3:9, God's desire is for all to come to repentance, demonstrating His own long-suffering nature. The apostle Paul writes in Romans 5:3-4 that suffering produces perseverance, which in turn leads to character and hope. As Galatians 5:22 and Ephesians 4:2 indicate, long-suffering is a key fruit of the Spirit, enabling believers to bear with one another in love, and Romans 8:28 reminds us that God works all things together for good, even in the midst of suffering.
