13 Bible Verses on Living Water

13 verses

In the Bible, God offers spiritual nourishment and eternal life through the gift of living water. Jesus teaches that those who drink of this water will never thirst again, as He tells the Samaritan woman in John 4:14. The prophets and Jesus Himself use the metaphor of living water to describe the Holy Spirit, who quenches the deepest longings of the soul, as seen in Isaiah 44:3 and John 7:38. This promise is ultimately fulfilled in the new heaven and the new earth, where God will give freely of the water of life, as described in Revelation 21:6. Through faith in Jesus, believers can experience the refreshing and rejuvenating power of this living water.
