In times of family rejection, believers can find comfort in God's promise to be their refuge and provider. The Psalms, such as Psalms 27:10 and 34:17-20, remind us that even when family forsakes us, God will not. Jesus Himself warned that following Him might lead to division within families, as seen in Matthew 10:35-37.
