Through the work of the Holy Spirit, individuals can experience a spiritual rebirth, becoming new creations in Christ. As Jesus taught in the Gospel of John, this transformation requires being "born again" to see the kingdom of God. The apostle Peter writes that believers are born again through the living and enduring word of God, as recorded in 1 Peter. This new life is made possible by God's gift of salvation, as expressed in John 3:16 and Romans 6:23, and results in a completely new identity, as stated in 2 Corinthians 5:17, where the old has passed away and all things have become new.

Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. ”
For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—
Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life.
