August 30, 2016 – What will God do to counter the darkness of this society? The scripture says when the enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard. A standard is something God does that becomes a sign to show people of another way to live. We are the standard God is going to raise up. We are the light of the world. If we are willing God will take us from where we are and do something wonderful in our lives to glorify Himself.

September 6, 2016 – We are in a very difficult moment in history and there are so many of us that are going through a storm. God is calling us to get up from the common thought of the multitude and learn the lessons He desires to teach us in the midst of our storm. In Christ we are going to get through the storm because He has overcome everything that threatens to drown you. Jesus will give us the same confidence that allowed Him to sleep through the storm. Put everything in God’s hands and Him for the power to rest in the storm.

September 13, 2016 – As the redeemed of God we have a reason to sing. When you know you’re saved, forgiven and made clean because of what Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross we can sing a song of praise that defeats the devil. We don’t have to be afraid of the devices of the enemy because God is our rescuer and we stand complete in Christ. We are no longer under condemnation and we are free to sing praises to our God who is the same yesterday today and forever.

Jesus said He saw Satan fall like lightening and those who trust God will be empowered to cast down the devil. Is it possible that we’ve complicated things and in doing so lost the simplicity of where the power of God is? Jesus appoints us to proclaim His power, healing and deliverance, everywhere we go. As we go, He will provide everything that we need. Satan’s kingdom is broken down by ordinary people who choose to trust Jesus.
