New to site.Have wandered around for far too long.I do believe but find so many different views confusing.Where best to start?.. Have downloaded C H Spurgeon and find them amazing.There are so many sermons and I am totally out of touch with speakers.Any suggestions would be good.

Welcome Pancres. William's suggestion is right on the spot. Certainly it can be a bit overwhelming, but Ten Shekel's will go a long way in ... direction.

Another would be The Revival Hymn (high-quality) at the heart of this ministry being a compilation of a number of speakers here. It may take some time but for the most part the 'view's' begin to coalesce into one after awhile, meaning at bottom there is a central issue;

"I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all."
Eph 4:1-6

Pancres

What is your mood, what do you feel like?

We listen to messages based upon how we feel.

If we are down in the dumps, then a refreshing message of hope would lift us up, if we end up listening about gloom and doom, most likely we would slip into a depression.

And also, we listen to sermons based upon our faith, some speakers are holy Spirit filled othes are not, depending on who you wish to listen to. If your a Babtist, you don't want to listen to a pentecostal preacher.

Some thoughts to chew on.
