They went out in their zeal believing that what they heard was right. But slowly they go further into error.

Some of these people in their beginnings have written some good stuff. For instance, some of the writings Ellen G. White are quite remarkable. Sure she got mixed up in law, but she also believed in grace, faith, and judgment.

I don't know about you but I am open to what the Spirit of God wants me to know. A couple of years ago I had a desire to get a hold of Mary Baker Eddy's book, Keys to the scriptures. I had no idea why I was trying to get hold of this book, none whatsoever. I was learning more about faith and I got the book and just flipped open the book and my eyes rested on a short sentence about faith. That was it. I tossed the book out because Jesus didn't want me to read the whole thing. Sure He could have used the bible or some great preachers writings, but He chose this.

You know what I think He was doing? I think He was testing me to see If I would go where no fundamental believer would dare to go. I mean imagine, here you are a prophet of God following God and then God says, And the LORD said to Jeff, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.

I mean come on. Who would do that today? We cross all our "T's" and dots our "I's", our doctrine is so tight that God's Will couldn't get in edge ways if He tried. We would be just like Peter, "Not so Lord, no unclean thing has entered my mouth".

I did not say the above people were saints, only that God used their writings to show me a thing or two.

But I think you've already formed your opinion. Thats okay.

Bro Frank, it was the WAY they came in, and in my heart, it dovetails with what we have been speaking of, the coming persecution will not come from outsiders, atheists, or muslims, but from within.....its been a very sad day on this forum.

I have not seen where Jeff claimed to be a prophet. But I agree with Jim. He is a brother with a burden for for the truth and purity of the gospel. So why is he being excoriated? Because he dared to stand for tbe truth of Jesus?

Several weeks ago my threads were locked down for warning of Mormonism. And that for tbe sake if unity. I respected the moderators decision to do so. But I wonder for tbe sake of peace and unity where do we cross over into compromising gospel truth. And we condemn those who speak the truth as being tbe heretic.

Someone posted earlier this is a discussion forum. We are to examine all things in light of the word if God. I have seen where Jeff gas been taken to task as being not loving, an angry watchman, and so forth. But have you examined his message? Has what Jeff said run counter to tbe gospel?

This us a day when deception fills tbe airways . And many are being ked astray. Even to believe Mr Theresa was saved. One would hope on her death bed she would have come to Jesus. I used to believe that she was saved. But seeing her writings I am not convinced she had an authentic experience with Jesus. And she was part of RCC. This is tbe one evil institution that has persecuted our brothers and sisters in times past. Most notedly tbe Anabaptist. Yet a brother who brings this truth out is taken to task. I stand amaze

I believe Jeff has spoken in love. He has warned tbe body. And so have others.. The questions is. Is the body, the church listening?
