Prepare The Field! Prepare Your Field!

PREPARE THE FIELD!
PREPARE YOUR FIELD!

What comes to mind, when you hear these words?
“Prepare the field”
“Prepare your field”

Well it should give you some ideas about preparation,
making ready for Gods promises in your life.
It should give you some ideas about what you have been praying
for and give you some idea of what you should be doing to
be ready to receive those promises.

See, with God, we pray, and then we wait.

Ps 37:34
34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

Ps 62:5
5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

Ps 104:27
27 These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

Ps 130:5-6
5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

6 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

Isa 40:31
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Its not anything different than when a farmer prepares his
field for harvest.
When he gets the soil ready, and then plants, and then waits.
We need to get the soil ready, plant (pray) and wait with thanksgiving
and patience, for the fulfillment of Gods promises in our lives.
We have to make ready the field!
We have to plant the prayers!
We have to wait on the harvest!
A Farmer has to wait for the harvest.
In the meantime, He continues to til the ground, take care of the
Plants, until that time when he can reap the harvest.
That’s what we have to do.
It takes time, it is not instantaneous. We don’t plant corn and expect
It to be fully ready and mature overnight! OR expect that the moment
we plant the seed, it springs up immediately to a fully mature plant!
It takes TIME!
It builds patience, and endurance, and helps us to grow as well while
we wait!

Heb 10:36
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

James 1:4
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Likewise, God cannot plant the promise in unprepared ground!
It would be like giving a machine gun to an infant!
That wont work!!!!!!
I think we all get the point!
So we have to mature, wait, and grow ourselves while we wait.
AND that means
Prepare the field, and prepare it to receive!

It takes work, dedication, commitment, discipline and devotion to get
these things done!

Do farmers just sit down and wait for God to do something?
Do they get upset when things don’t go well that year?
What happens in a drought or a flood situation?
Do they give thanks in the good times and in the bad times?

1 Thess 5:18
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you

Col 3:15
15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

But how about those ones that are praying to God for a
miracle in their land and harvest because its their livelihood
and if they don’t get a significant yield, their family could
starve?
Do they just pray and wait?
Or do they PREPARE THE FIELD TO RECEIVE?
If they are smart, they are praying and thanking the Lord,
AND preparing the land to receive, and for the planting
To be well, and the yield to be excellent.
It doesn’t come by sitting on our proverbial backsides and
Just praying.

God wants to give us the answer to our prayers, but how many
Of us are sitting around waiting, instead of PREPARING to RECEIVE?

God is a GOOD Father, and WANTS to bless His children.
It means WE have to do something TOO!
PREPARE THE FIELD!

No matter what your situation is, you have to prepare the field.
Get it ready to receive from the Lord.
He cannot give it prematurely, and He cannot give it when things
Are not in readiness to receive.
He waits on US then!

Have you prepared your field?
How much time have you spent in praying and seeking the Lord for breakthroughs, and answers to prayer?
Has the answer come?
How long has it been since you saw answers to prayer?

Have you prepared your field?
Have you prepared for His rain?

See, God is the one that brings the results of prayer.
But if there is no seed bed, no preparation, how can this happen?
Let me explain.

Two farmers. Both had fields to plant.
It was dry, no rain.
One farmer just stood there praying and seeking the Lord for harvest.
One farmer began to prepare the field for planting, and eventual rain, and harvest.

Who was going to see the results?
The one just praying and doing nothing?
Or the one preparing to receive?

Have you prepared your field to receive the blessings of God?
For those of you waiting on Gods promise in your lives, have you begun to
show the Lord that you are ready for the blessing by doing something to prepare?
Or are you waiting for it to just land in your lap?

God expects us to prepare.
God expects us to be ready.
God expects us to do some work too!
We are not to be slothful lazy children of the Most High God!
We are not just spoiled Kingdom Kids!
We have work to do!

Are you ready?
Don’t blame God, when things don’t work out.
Don’t blame God, when bad things happen.
Don’t blame God, when things don’t happen when you expect.
Don’t blame God, when your promise is delayed.
Don’t blame God. Period.
Its not HIS fault!

We have a job to do!
Get your work boots on!
Get your gloves on!
Its going to get dirty and messy!
Prepare your field to receive!
Stop sitting around waiting for God to do it all!
Do YOUR part TOO!

Be Thankful!
Above all, Praise the LORD!
For the Harvest is ripe!

Matt 9:37
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;

Bless you!
