I often wondered how those people could walk through the sea, see the miracles and not believe?

But in Hebrews it says that believing is not only believing that God is, but also believing that He is a rewarder of those that seek Him.

These people complained often of God taking them into the desert only to die, and that they had been better off in Egypt. They didn't believe God was good.

I'm not discussing symptoms, but was this the issue at heart of their unbelief?
