Surrender To Him

1 sermons

Surrendering to Him is a profound act of faith that invites believers into a deeper relationship with God. The Bible teaches that true surrender involves relinquishing our own desires and ambitions in favor of God's perfect will, as illustrated in Proverbs 3:5-6, where we are encouraged to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding. In John 12:24, Jesus emphasizes the necessity of dying to self, stating that unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. This concept of surrender is not merely about giving up control but about embracing the transformative power of Christ in our lives. Paul reminds us in Galatians 2:20 that we have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer we who live, but Christ who lives in us. As we surrender, we open ourselves to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth (John 16:13). Ultimately, surrendering to Him leads to a life marked by peace and purpose, as we align our hearts with His divine plan, echoing the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33, to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
