ἀδικέω [page 10] The verb is common in petitions, as P Tebt I. 42 .5 ( c. B.C. 114) ἠδικημένος καθ᾽ ὑπερβολὴν ὑπ [ὸ ] Ἁρμιύσιος , P Eleph 27(a) .25 (iii/B.C.) τούτον δὲ γενομένου ἐσόμεθα οὐκ ἠδικημένοι : so P Passal .8 (Ptol.) ( = Witkowski Epp. .2 p. 53) φρόντισον οὖν , ὅπως μὴ ἀδικηθῆι ὁ ἄνθρωπος . With cognate acc. (as in Col_3:25 ) BGU IV. 1138 .13 (i/B.C.) ὃ ἠδίκησ̣ε̣ν̣ ἐμαρτύρησ (εν ). In the sense of harming something inanimate ( Rev_6:6 ; Rev_7:2-3 the latter paralleled in Thucydides) see Syll 557 .8 τὴν δὲ λοιπὴν χώραν τὴν ἱερὰν τοῦ Ἀπόλλωνος τοῦ Πτωΐου μὴ ἀδικεῖν μηδένα , and cf.
