αὐγάζω: 1 aor. inf. αὐγάσαι ; (αὐγή); 1. in Grk. writ. transitively, to beam upon, irradiate. 2. in the Bible intrans. to be bright, to shine forth: 2 Co. iv. 4 [L mrg. Tr mrg. xatavy. see φωτισμός, b.], (Lev. xiii. 24-28, [ete.]). [Comp.: δὲ-, xar-avyato.]
