III. 113. 13 ἄρτος ἁπαλός , ἀρτυόμενος γάλακτι ὀλίγῳ καὶ ἐλαίῳ καὶ ἀλσὶν ἀρκετοῖς . Dioscor. II. 76 ἀρτυτοῖς (ἀρτυτικοῖς ?) ἁλσί , salibus condimento inservientibus. P Tebt II. 375 .27 (A.D. 140) ζύμης ἠρτυμένης . Ἀρτύματα spices are mentioned in an account P Amh II. 126 .40 (early ii/A.D.) : cf. P Giss I. 47 .14 (ii/A.D.) τὰ δύο μάτια (= .1 / 6 artaba) τῶν ἀρτυμάτων (δραχμῶν ) π̄ . A subst. ἀρτυματατᾶς occurs BGU IV. 1087 ii. 9 (iii/A.D.) : cf. ib.
