Moulton & Milligan — Vocabulary of the Greek NT

ὑπερεντυγχάνω [page 653] supplicate on behalf of ( Rom_8:26 ), does not seem to occur outside early Christian literature : cf. Clem. Alex. Paed. I. vi. 47, 4 (ed. Stδhlin). To the citations of ἐντυγχάνω ( s.v. ἐντυγχάνω ) we may add PSI IV. 340 .5 , 347 .6 , 353 .4 (all iii/B.C.), and P Hamb I. 27 .10 (B.C. 250) ἐπορεύθην πρὸς τὸν Φίλωνα εἰς τὴν Κοίτην καὶ ἐνέτυχον αὐτῶι περὶ τούτων , as illustrating further the wide reference of the verb in Late Greek.

STEPBible — Tyndale Abridged Greek Lexicon
