The verb is common in connexion with marriage, as in Mat_1:18 , e.g. BGU IV. 1050 .6 (time of Augustus) συγχωροῦσιν Ἰσιδώρα καὶ Διονύσιος συνεληλυθέναι ἀλλήλοις πρὸς γάμο (ν ), so ib . 1098 .8 ( c .
