to send with, to send together to send someone together with someone else In some languages it may be difficult to express in a succinct way the meaning of ‘to send with.’ For example, in 2CO 8:22 it may be necessary to translate ‘they are going and so we are causing our Christian brother to go with them,’ and in 2CO 12:18 one may translate ‘I begged Titus to go, and I caused the other Christian brother to go with him.’

συνπέμπω, “send along with.”’ For constr. c. acc. and dat., as in 2 Cor 8%, cf. P Oxy 11. 237" 3 (a.p. 186) οὐδὲν δὲ ἧττον συνπέμψας τῇ ἐπιστολῇ. Other exx. of the verb are P Flor 11. 215!* (A.p. 256) τὸ δὲ ἐπιστόλιον ὃ συνέπεμψα πρὸς “Hpwva, and OG/S 3155 (B.c. 164-159) συν[πε]μφθῆναί τινα αὐτῶι παρὰ σοῦ.
